In the MonsterVerse, the Earth's interior is a vast hollow, filled with countless giant monsters.

The Titans, the King Kongs, rule the hollow Earth.

However, the Kong clan no longer exists in the hollow Earth; the only two remaining are on Skull Island.

The reason why the Kongo race, who live on a hollow Earth, would appear on Skull Island on the surface needs to be explained.

In some ancient time, a massive geological event caused a continent from the hollow Earth to rise to the surface.

As luck would have it, when the change occurred, King Kong's parents were on this floating continent, and somehow ended up in the surface world.

Besides King Kong's parents, the passengers who surfaced on the mainland included Skull Reptile, Lone Reef Bull Demon, Holy Tiger, and Dinosaur.

The unique ecosystem on Skull Island is actually just a part of the ecosystem of the hollow Earth.

King Kong's parents were Titans who survived on radiation or flesh and blood, but primarily on radiation.

Having escaped the heat-radiating environment of the hollow Earth, they began to weaken, subsisting solely on the flesh and blood of animals.

To make matters worse, the skeleton reptiles also started competing with King Kong's parents for food.

The weakened King Kong parents fought the skeleton reptile for a long time but failed to kill it.

They continued fighting until a human race called Taggart migrated to Skull Island.

The battles of the giant beasts were also recorded by the Taggarts through paintings.

However, the battle could not last forever. Although the King Kong parents were slightly stronger than the Skeleton Reptiles.

However, their reproductive capacity is far inferior.

The original two skeleton reptiles multiplied and grew to hundreds.

Taking advantage of the fact that King Kong's parents were weak shortly after the baby was born, they launched a full-scale attack, killing King Kong's parents in one fell swoop and becoming the uncrowned kings of Skull Island.

……

The skeleton reptiles may very well hold the key to returning to the hollow Earth.

After all, such a large skull island must have left an underground passage before it surfaced! Otherwise, how could the island have emerged from the ground?

However, the plot of Kong fighting Godzilla left Luo Yan with some doubts.

Since Skull Island has a path to the hollow Earth, why would human organizations go to the trouble of transporting King Kong to Antarctica and then entering the hollow Earth from there?

Could it be that humanity was unaware that Skull Island led to a hollow Earth?

That doesn't make sense. Humans at that time were already technologically advanced, having invented geomagnetic flying machines. How could they not have explored the underground passages of Skull Island?

This question was quickly answered.

Luo Yan and Jin Gang chased the skeleton crawler deeper and deeper underground.

The surrounding space also became increasingly narrow.

Further along, even the skeleton crawlers had difficulty moving and could not go any deeper.

On the contrary, the young King Kong and Luo Yan can continue to move forward.

Seeing the skeleton crawler stuck in the crack in the ground, King Kong directly pulled out a sharp stalagmite and pierced the skeleton crawler with blood in just a few strokes, leaving it on the verge of death.

Luo Yan did not stop King Kong's revenge. The skeleton crawler was too big to lead the way, so it became useless and was killed by King Kong in revenge. That was its only fate.

Luo Yan extended his mental energy to scan the tunnels of the underground world and the entrance to the hollow Earth.

He quickly made progress, replacing the skeleton reptile as its guide and leading King Kong underground.

The underground of Skull Island has a loose geology, with various caves and roads leading in all directions, resembling a piece of cheese full of holes.

The tunnel has soft soil and lots of underground water; if Luo Yan uses even a little force to excavate the road, it will cause a landslide.

Several times, if it weren't for Luo Yan's mental strength supporting them, the collapsing rocks would have buried him and Jingang alive.

Given this rock formation structure, and the fact that Skull Island is located in an earthquake zone, it's no wonder that human organizations didn't choose this location for construction.

To excavate a tunnel directly to the Earth's core, in such harsh construction conditions, it's likely that tens of thousands of workers would die before the project could be completed.

With their escape route cut off by a landslide and groundwater flooding the area, Luo Yan and Jingang were left with only one path: continuing downwards.

Half an hour later, the road ahead became narrower and narrower, so narrow that Luo Yan kept using his fists to clear a path, blasting a passage through it.

An hour later, Luo Yan finally sensed the entrance to the hollow Earth, a peculiar energy membrane.

Without hesitation, he smashed through the membrane, and the next second he and King Kong fell from a height of a thousand meters.

Saying it was high in the sky wasn't quite right either. Below Luo Yan fell was a continent, but above him was also a continent.

The hollow Earth has no concept of sky; the top and bottom are both land, and the middle is air.

As Luo Yan fell from a piece of land, the closer he got to the boundary between the two continents, the weaker the gravity and the slower his speed.

When we reached the dividing line, I actually felt a sense of weightlessness.

After crossing the dividing line, gravity increased again, and the falling speed began to increase once more.

King Kong roared loudly as the rapid descent terrified it, and it struggled to break free of the air, trying to slow its descent.

Luo Yan watched from the side. He could fly, and he let himself fall, just wanting to experience the strange gravitational reversal phenomenon of a hollow Earth.

Just before it hit the ground, he used his mental power to support the Vajra, preventing it from falling to its death.

With his life no longer in danger, King Kong breathed a sigh of relief and then began to curiously observe his surroundings.

Inside this peculiar hollow Earth, the sky is land, and so is the ground beneath your feet. There is no sun in the sky, yet it is always as bright as day.

The great river rushes overhead, while pterosaurs fly on the ground.

Ancient trees stretch as far as the eye can see, and various giant beasts create a vibrant and lively scene.

Stone crabs, about the size of calves, roam in groups, giant beasts that look like both crocodiles and dinosaurs, running and hunting.

Luo Yan had seen all the giant beasts that appeared in the movie, but the species on the hollow Earth in reality were hundreds of times more abundant than those shown in the movie, and there were many more giant beasts that Luo Yan had never heard of.

"This is really great. This hollow Earth is practically a giant gene bank. I, who am a space-devourer, will definitely be interested."

In the hollow Earth, there is no behemoth more powerful than an adult King Kong, but Luo Yan does not consider whether the species is powerful enough when collecting genes.

As long as it's special enough, it meets his requirements.

Luo Yan was still thinking about extracting gene samples.

On the other side, King Kong's attention was drawn to a peculiar mountain peak.

It was a rocky mountain constantly battered by lightning storms.

At the foot of the mountain and around it, there is a blue mineral.

Upon seeing the mountains and minerals, King Kong's bloodline seemed to be awakened, and he roared as he ran towards them.

"careful!"

Luo Yan suddenly came to his senses and discovered that Jin Gang was being attacked by a flying snake while running wildly.

It was a giant snake over a hundred meters long with membranous wings on both sides of its body. It was a type of Titan called Nozuki or War Bat.

Of course, apart from its membranous wings having some bat-like features, Naozuqi is purely a snake, and Luo Yan prefers to call it the Flying Snake.

The flying snake is enormous, yet incredibly agile.

It glides and soars through the air at incredible speeds.

The flying snake, hidden among the dense trees, launched a sneak attack from the side, darting out like lightning and swallowing King Kong whole in an instant.

Luo Yan immediately took action, using the power of the world to suppress the flying snake. His mental energy, like an invisible hand, moved from the snake's tail to its head, as if pulling on a leather hose.

The food inside the flying serpent's belly, including its internal organs and bones, was like toothpaste, propelled by a tremendous force and gushing out of the flying serpent's mouth.

King Kong, clad in Titan armor, was unharmed by the flying snake's teeth and stomach acid. Instead, the flying snake suffered the consequences, being stretched into a leather belt by Luo Yan until it died, before being casually tossed to the ground.

King Kong got up from the mixture of flying snake vomit, shook his head, pointed to the distant mountain peaks with one finger, and anxiously expressed something to Luo Yan.

King Kong was referring to his family and clan, saying that there might be their kin in the mountains.

Luo Yan shook his head. His mental energy scanned the entire hollow Earth, and he could tell King Kong very clearly that there were no members of his race here.

But he didn't say it, he didn't dare to cruelly extinguish King Kong's fantasy.

Let the Vajra stubbornly run towards that mountain peak.

Chapter 120 Kamazorz Charged Battle Axe

There are no Titans on the hollow Earth that can challenge an adult King Kong.

However, there are many giant beasts that can bully young King Kong.

Leaving aside the flying serpent from earlier, even the Holy Tiger could fight against Vajra.

The sacred tiger on Skull Island is only four meters long.

The sacred tiger of the hollow Earth can grow up to ten meters long and can slap a car away with a single blow.

Even a ten-meter-tall sacred tiger would only be in the middle of the food chain on a hollow Earth.

The flying snake that King Kong encountered before could barely be considered a high-level predator, but it was still not at the top of the food chain.

When Luo Yan scanned the area with his mental power, he discovered a sleeping Titan, a fully grown Titan.

That Titan is the strongest being here.

It was a monster that looked like a giant bat, and somewhat like a Western dragon.

Its head resembles that of a pig-nosed bat, with large horns resembling those of a buffalo on its head. It is entirely black, with tattered wings and edges covered in sharp spikes tens of meters long.

Its body resembles a mythical black dragon, with layers of armor covering its abdomen, powerful thighs, and a thick tail; its lower body has nothing to do with bats.

Upon seeing this Titan, Luo Yan quickly recalled the prequel comic to King Kong, "Kingdom: King Kong," which he had read.

This behemoth, resembling a bat and a black dragon, is clearly Kamazoz, the so-called King of the Abyss.

To possess the title of king, one's strength must be considerable.

According to the comics, Kamazorz is much stronger than Rodan, but slightly weaker than Godzilla, King Ghidorah, and MUTO.

An adult Kamazorz is probably about as powerful as a young King Kong.

Of course, all the Titans were nothing compared to Luo Yan.
