So I'm a sheep.

The V Legion was barely managing to keep running. The acting commander of the Legion of Lucifer and the promoted high angels had not rested for a moment. They were practically risking their lives to keep the legion from collapsing!

Three months passed, then four months passed.

Two of the interim ministers were under so much psychological pressure that they broke down and were admitted to the military sanatorium.

Five months, six months, seven months...

Despite the low morale of the V Army, surprisingly no major chaos occurred.

Two years, three years, three years and five months.

As Lucifer grew increasingly exhausted, and several interim ministers painfully prepared to surrender...

Finally, finally, a minister has returned from his vacation!

Volume 1: Chapter 493 The Abyss Project

'The squad leader finally made it through.'

Sasha breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that the minister had ended his vacation and returned to the V Army.

Once there is one, there will be two, and once there are two, there will be three. As long as Lucifer's attitude remains impartial, most of the Seraphim will soon return.

With experienced ministers taking over, the seasoned higher angels can be reassigned to suitable core positions based on their own circumstances.

Only then will the squad leader be able to completely escape his predicament.

'...'

Sasha stared at the report in her hand, lost in thought. The most difficult time had passed, and theoretically, Lucifer would find things easier over time.

However, she didn't think Savanna would just stand by and watch herself be replaced by the class monitor.

'It seems there will be more twists and turns ahead. What kind of help can I offer the class monitor during this time?'

Helping openly and honestly is obviously not an option, but doing something secretly should be fine if you're careful.

"Sasha!"

The little angel rushed in like the wind: "Come with me quickly, His Highness summons you."

"Okay, Pavlova, why are you always in such a rush lately?"

Is there really a need for such a hasty summons from His Highness?

"Sigh, it's your fault and my own."

Bafra gave the girl a resentful look: "Why didn't you stop me when I tried to run away? It made me get scolded by His Highness later."

"His Highness has been very strict with me lately, and I must complete my mission diligently!"

"Alright, alright, stop wasting time, come with me."

Hmph, you ran away so happily back then, now you're getting what's coming to you.

"Let's go. Next time, remember to share the good times and the bad, and don't be so ungrateful."

"I've never seen Your Highness so angry before. Sigh, I've reflected on my actions, so let's just let this matter go, shall we?"

..........................................

On their way to the palace of the Holy Angels, Sasha tried to probe Bavra's intentions, but the Seraph was unusually clueless.

Nothing much has happened these past few days, so I guess His Highness just wants to see you.

"Haha, it's good that you're alright."

Sasha met the Holy Angel with a light heart, but Hill's first words made the girl's heart tighten.

"Sister Skadi is convening a meeting of the celestial beings. All the holy angels, as well as the legion commanders except Savanna, will be attending."

"Your Highness, what has happened?"

I'm not clear on the specifics either.

Hill looked somewhat helpless: "Because I'm the youngest sister, I'm usually the last of the Holy Angels to know about any important matters."

Oh, I see.

Sasha nodded and followed the Holy Angel directly to the Celestial Conference Room through a hidden teleportation array.

"..."

"I am convening this celestial meeting."

Skadi was the one who summoned all the celestial dignitaries, but it was the Holy Angel Heimra who held the meeting.

"In fact, I was the angel who gathered everyone together by Sister Toskadi."

There's only one reason—

Looking around at the assembled celestial leaders, Heimra slowly said, "Disrupt the Five Demon Kings' 'Abyss Plan'."

Project Abyss? Never heard of it.

The girl glanced furtively at the legion commanders around her and noticed that they also looked bewildered.

"During the war between Heaven and Purgatory, many great demons from Purgatory were captured."

"After the Titan King withdrew his troops, I finally had time to conduct a thorough interrogation of those great demons."

Heimra said calmly, "From a great demon who was once a close attendant of the Demon King, I learned that a long, long time ago, the Demon Kings joined forces to carry out an operation to construct the 'Sixth Hell'."

..............................................

"That great demon didn't know the details of the demon kings' actions. Even after mobilizing high-ranking spies in Purgatory, I only obtained some scattered clues."

"In desperation, I had no choice but to beg for guidance from the Mother Goddess."

After a pause, Heimra smiled and said, "Fortunately, this time the situation was serious, and the Mother Goddess made an exception and restored the original facts for us."

While the other legion commanders were unaware of their thoughts, Sasha was stunned by the information revealed in the Holy Angel's words.

A high-ranking undercover agent in purgatory?

Fallen angel or demon? This, this purgatory actually has a 'traitorous demon' who yearns for heaven?!

Furthermore, because the situation was so serious, the great goddess made an exception and provided some information.

Upon closer examination, this statement is actually quite problematic.

The fact that the goddess can provide information means that she is aware of the demon kings' actions.

The combined actions of the five demon kings—it's obviously a very serious situation!

However, for so long, the great goddess has not revealed any information to the heavens.

"..."

'So, why are you revealing things that weren't disclosed before?'

'Was it because the Holy Angel specifically inquired, or is this the best time to let Heaven know about the Abyss Plan?'

Sasha suppressed the turmoil in her heart and listened attentively to the Holy Angel's story.

As everyone knows, there are five levels of purgatory and five demon kings.

However, the Five Demon Kings have never gained any advantage over the Four Saints in the long run.

Although the goddess restricted Murphy's use of the Dominator's Scepter, and because the Titans and demons had not yet reached an agreement at that time.

But in the end, the average level of the Four Saints is still higher than that of the Demon King.

............................................

The oldest demon king, who dared not wield the Dominator's Scepter at will, found it difficult to suppress Skadi, the strongest among the holy angels.

Facing Heimra, the second strongest among the Holy Angels, any Demon Lord except the oldest Demon Lord would be defeated in a one-on-one fight.

Saint Angel Ima ranks third in strength, but she is the only true 'war angel' among the four saints.

If not for some special reason, the Demon King Amon would have been defeated and killed long ago in the long and bloody battle with the Holy Angel Ima.

Finally, there's Hill...

Although this holy angel's strength is 'ordinary', it's still enough to deal with a demon king of medium strength.

The demon kings, unable to gain the upper hand despite being outnumbered five to four, began to plot.

Since five against four isn't enough, what's wrong with adding another demon king?

The Demon Lord Murphy was the initiator of the 'Abyss Project'. He united all the Demon Lords and injected the power of the Fivefold Purgatory into a main world with infinite potential.

The demon kings will create a new purgatory in that world, namely the 'Abyss Purgatory'.

However, their plan was forced to be shelved just as it was getting started.

The world's will sensed the demon kings' malice and miraculously gave birth to a divine artifact that should never have existed.

Volume 1: Chapter 494 Tablet of Fate

"The artifact is called the 'Destiny Tablet.' When the chosen natives wield the Destiny Tablet, they will receive the blessing of the world's will and possess extraordinary authority to manipulate the world!"

The power to manipulate the world?

The legion commanders present were all deeply moved. This level of authority was truly immense; possessing such authority was tantamount to becoming the ruler of the world.

"Your Highness Heimla, even if the most powerful native of the main world wields the Tablet of Destiny, how can he/she possibly stop the Demon Lords' plans?"

Sasha said in surprise, "Let alone the Tablet of Destiny, even a super artifact is impossible, right?"

The main world has boundless potential; it's possible for a powerful being to emerge who could potentially reach the level of a legion commander.

This is already very strong, but against the Five Demon Kings...

"The chosen native used the Tablet of Destiny to completely seal off the world. It is easy for the demon kings to break the seal, but once the seal is broken, the world will be destroyed as well."

Heimra explained, "Not just any main world has the potential to give birth to the 'Abyss,' and out of caution, the Demon Lords had no choice but to shelve their plans."

Ah, no wonder.

The angels suddenly realized, and then another legion commander spoke up: "Your Highness, although the 'Abyss Project' has been shelved, that main world has ultimately been invaded by the power of the Fivefold Purgatory."

"Leaving it unattended for too long is also not appropriate."
