Stuart's smile remained unchanged as he slightly adjusted his glasses.

"I'll be back in a bit. I need to rest for a bit now. You can go ahead."

Peter didn't stand on ceremony. He walked quickly outside, paused at the door, said a sincere thank you, and then pushed the door open and left.

"Thank you? There's no need for that. I was just pointing out your true desires before your passion cooled down. After all, the you who chose betrayal and cowered was truly disgusting. But now, you finally bring me a bit of pleasure. I really want to know what choice you will make when you face Voldemort again, now that you've regained your courage and said you'll never betray him."

Looking at the empty room, Stuart smiled with a hint of pleasure and softly explained his reasons.

PS1: Yesterday, a friend in the group gave me some suggestions, such as the supporting characters' emotions not being clearly expressed, so I tried to make some changes. I hope I can write better in the future.

Chapter Thirty-Two: The Night Is Still Long

As it turns out, people are often driven to their limits by pressure.

Lupin, whose talent was initially slightly inferior to James and Sirius, surprisingly became the first of the four to master Animagus under the threat of a trip to the zoo, completing the transformation in just four months. His Animagus form, unsurprisingly, was an extremely powerful wolf. James and the others followed suit within a month. It's worth noting that Animagus transformations can only take the form of one animal, and this animal is generally determined by the user's personality and weight. Peter, having regained his courage, underwent a personality change, no longer the timid and cowardly creature he once was. Consequently, his Animagus form also changed; he was no longer the pitiful rat from the original story, but a dangerous, small, highly venomous lizard.

Upon learning that Lupin was indeed the first among them to complete the Animagus, Stuart couldn't help but feel disappointed, which caused his well-prepared project, "The Reproduction Possibilities of Werewolves and the Observation of Offspring Abilities," to be abandoned.

Seeing Stuart's undisguised disappointment, Lupin felt a surge of relief. He was thankful he hadn't taken the threat lightly and had been the first to carry it out; otherwise, Stuart would have definitely kept his word and taken him to the zoo on the night of the full moon to see the beautiful she-wolf. Becoming a werewolf was already heartbreaking enough; if he were forced to have anything happen with a wolf, Lupin felt he would lose the will to live.

[Forget it, we can catch a werewolf for the breeding experiment another day. What's important now is the werewolf Animagus experiment. Apart from Lupin, there probably won't be any other werewolf with such high talent that they can learn such dangerous advanced shapeshifting.] Although slightly disappointed, Stuart quickly put the breeding experiment aside because of his curiosity about the werewolf Animagus, and eagerly awaited the arrival of the full moon.

On the night of the full moon, in the Forbidden Forest, Stuart, having made all the preparations, led the four to a newly cleared area. In the darkness, unseen by the four, West lay in wait, ready to handle any unforeseen events, such as killing the werewolf and the witness.

In the center of the clearing, Lupin transformed into a giant wolf, lying quietly on the ground, watching Stuart and the others. His gaze was gentle and calm, as always. Earlier, Lupin had suggested wearing sufficiently strong shackles, but this suggestion was rejected without hesitation by Jaime and the others. In their words, "We're friends. Even if you're dangerous, we can't treat you like that. Besides, Stuart is here; he's more reliable than a hundred shackles, so go ahead and break the curse on yourself!"

Gradually, moonlight streamed down from behind the clouds, falling upon the giant wolf in the clearing. James and the others clenched their fists, staring nervously at him, not daring to blink. Although they had appeared confident before, they couldn't suppress their tension as the moment arrived.

Stuart gripped his wand tightly, anticipating the reaction catalyzed by the moonlight.

Under the moonlight, the giant wolf's muscles tensed, and it shook its head as it stood up. Seeing the people surrounding it, it scratched the dirt under its feet in annoyance and let out a threatening growl, but without a doubt, it had no desire to attack.

Seeing this, James and the others breathed a sigh of relief, feeling their bodies go weak. They exchanged glances and noticed that each other's robes were soaked with sweat and clung to their bodies. Looking at their disheveled state, they first gave a wry smile, then couldn't help but burst into laughter. Seemingly annoyed by the laughter, the giant wolf bared its teeth at James and the others, but finally couldn't resist letting out a long, joyful howl.

Under the moonlight, the huge gray wolf and the three laughing figures appeared perfectly harmonious. Even the forbidden forest under the night seemed to soften and lose its eeriness.

However, some people just don't know how to do things properly, effortlessly ruining the atmosphere. A dark figure abruptly cut into their line of sight, interrupting their deep gaze.

“I need some of your blood to analyze the effects of Animagus on werewolves. You can tell me if you don’t want to, I won’t force you.”

Even in the darkness, Stuart's glasses stubbornly gleamed coldly in the moonlight, sending chills down the spines of James and the others. The giant wolf's fur stood on end in fear. It bared its teeth and let out a threatening howl.

"Since you didn't say you were unwilling, it seems you agreed. I'll begin then."

As if he hadn't seen the giant wolf's reaction, Stuart took a syringe out of his robe pocket and tapped it with his wand, making it as big as an arm. The thick needle tip emitted a dazzling cold light under the light from his glasses.

"I'm a wolf now, a wolf! How do you expect me to talk?! And that huge syringe, are you trying to drain me dry?!" The giant wolf nervously took two steps back, roaring inwardly in despair.

Seemingly sensing what the giant wolf was thinking, Stuart adjusted his glasses and said coldly.

"After turning into a wolf, has even your brain stopped working properly? Don't you think your wolf skin, enhanced by werewolf blood, can be pierced by an ordinary syringe?"

Since you can read my mind, why not explain the syringe issue along with the speech issue? The giant wolf on the night of the full moon seemed to have awakened some kind of attribute due to its inability to speak, roaring wildly in its heart. At this moment, the SOS Brigade's laborer and the Yorozuya's glasses were with him.

Seemingly having read the giant wolf's mind once again, Stuart remained silent for a long time before suddenly unleashing more than a dozen binding spells under the astonished gazes of James and the others.

"Since you didn't say you were unwilling, it seems you agreed. I'll begin then."

Stuart raised the syringe in his hand and swung it downwards with tremendous force. Judging from the sharp needle and the whooshing sound it made, this strike was enough to pierce an ordinary person's arm, and even break through the skull with ease. But before James and the others could even cry out in surprise, something even more astonishing happened.

A piercing metallic twisting sound echoed through the Forbidden Forest. The needle, which looked intimidating, was bent at almost a right angle, while the giant wolf was completely unscathed.

"Is this defying the heavens?"

Sirius, who had been watching the whole thing, couldn't help but voice the thoughts of the three of them. The giant wolf was also dumbfounded. Although he had vaguely felt that his body had been strengthened after the moonlight shone on him, he did not expect that it would be strengthened to this extent.

Stuart casually tossed the broken syringe aside, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. He then pulled a handful of gleamingly sharp tools from his pocket.

"Isn't that a powerful defense? Well then, let's continue. The night is still long."

PS1, the night is still long. If you're willing, a bestiality might not be impossible. After all, wolves under the moonlight are always more instinctive. However, my overflowing sense of decency doesn't allow me to write such heavy stuff as bestiality, so you can use your imagination. James, Sirius, and Peter regaining his confidence are all top-notch men.

Chapter Thirty-Three: The Sound of Clapping

Gently shaking the test tube in his hand, watching the beautiful blue liquid inside reflect its alluring colors under the light, a barely perceptible fervor flashed in Stuart's eyes.

As he expected, the blood extracted in Animagus form was more potent than Lupin's blood when he was a werewolf, and it also contained an unknown substance. After purifying this substance and adding it to hippogriff blood, and repeating the previous experiments, this beautiful blue blood was produced.

Blanche, on the other hand, seemed rather bored. She preferred experiments involving scalpel dissection of magical creatures, examining their internal structures, and then assembling different animals together, rather than this kind of microscopic research. She couldn't understand the appeal of things like blood, bile, tears, and milk. If it weren't for seeing assembled beasts like West, which gave her great confidence in Stuart, Blanche would have given up long ago.

Although Stuart would love for her to give up.

Stuart beckoned, and the harpy, which had been standing in the corner looking at him with adoration and reverence, quickly walked to his side, obediently lowering its proud head, waiting for his next command.

"Lift your head and open your mouth."

Although his voice remained cold, those familiar with Stuart would notice that he spoke faster than usual, clearly not as calm as he appeared.

The hippogriff obediently opened its sharp beak, revealing a tongue covered in spikes. Unfazed by the somewhat terrifying mouth, Stuart slowly poured the blue blood from the test tube into it, only putting the tube away with satisfaction when the liquid in the test tube was half gone.

"Drink it."

There was an expectation in Stuart's voice that he himself didn't realize, which surprised Blanche. She had never seen him like this before. Unconsciously, even Blanche, who had previously shown no interest in blood, felt a flicker of anticipation.

As the hippogriff drank the blood, Stuart pointed his wand at a piece of parchment and began recording the experiment.

After the hippogriff drank the blood, there were no immediate changes. At four minutes and thirty-two seconds, it began to show signs of unease, shaking its head slightly. At seven minutes and twenty-four seconds, it started stomping its feet restlessly on the floor. At eleven minutes and seven seconds, its body began to tremble, emitting groans. At thirteen minutes and forty-seven seconds, the hippogriff stopped trembling and collapsed stiffly to the ground.

Blanche looked at the hippogriff on the ground with disappointment. Seeing Stuart's expectant expression, she had thought something interesting would happen, but instead, she witnessed the boring scene of the hippogriff's death. Ignoring the stiffened hippogriff on the ground, Blanche turned to Stuart and asked...

"I say, Stuart, have you created some kind of deadly poison?"

Before Blanche could react, a ghastly green beam of light grazed her ear and struck the wall behind her. Then, Stuart's icy voice echoed in the laboratory.

"Avada Kedavra".

Stuart remained fixed on the hippogriff on the ground, not even glancing at Blanche, and slowly put his wand back in his pocket. Blanche didn't utter anything like, "What if I had missed? I would have died!" Firstly, Stuart couldn't possibly miss; Blanche had confidence in him. Secondly, if she were to recklessly shout that, a ghastly green beam of light would likely strike her head.

Therefore, Blanche, who was thick-skinned and didn't realize she had just walked a tightrope between life and death, simply shrugged, kept quiet, and muttered to herself.

Ah, ah, he's gotten angry out of embarrassment.

Finally, just as Blanche was getting a little bored, a new experimental record appeared on the parchment.

At 43 minutes and 57 seconds, the gyrfalcon began to bleed from various parts of its body, accompanied by slight tremors.

Blanche looked incredulously at the hippogriff she had assumed was already dead, only to see it trembling slightly, just as the records had described, with blood seeping from its eyes, mouth, nose, ears, and pores.

Okay, if the time of death is pushed back by half an hour, with that amount of bleeding and the speed of bleeding, it seems impossible for him to have survived.

While Blanche was somewhat surprised that the hippogriff hadn't died, she didn't think the blood-red one could possibly survive. However, to avoid angering anyone, she could only state her conclusion in her mind.

At 45 minutes and 2 seconds, the trembling of the Griffin stopped, the bleeding stopped, and the amount of blood loss was determined to be 93% of the Griffin's total blood volume.

About a minute later, another experimental record appeared on the parchment.

[See? He's stopped moving again; he's definitely dead. But the poison Stuart made this time is really potent, managing to drain almost all the blood from his body.]

Bored, Blanche leaned against the wall, playing with her long hair. She felt a little helpless. She really didn't understand why Stuart wouldn't give up on this obviously failed experiment. Even ghouls needed some blood in their bodies to be successfully transformed.

However, reality soon showed Blanche what it meant to be slapped in the face.

At 53 minutes and 71 seconds, the Griffon's body began to twist abnormally, showing obvious signs of atavism.

When this experimental record appeared on the parchment, Stuart's face showed not joy, but tension. This was the final step, and only if the final step succeeded could the experiment be considered over.

The griffin is a more advanced creature than the hippogriff. Its limbs are stronger, its body larger, its wings more powerful, its skin tougher, and its muscles harder. In every aspect, the griffin far surpasses the hippogriff. However, greater power also means greater demands on its abilities.

If this were a high-magic world, then absorbing magic power from the air would be enough to support the completion of this transformation. However, this is just a damaged micro-magic world, with pitifully little magic power in the air, which is simply not enough to meet the energy requirements for a lower species to transform into a higher species.

To avoid the transformation failing due to insufficient energy—a ridiculous excuse—Stuart stuffed the hippogriff's belly full of high-energy food before the experiment. Even so, he couldn't guarantee there would be enough energy. Now, he could only pray that the transformation would be quick and completed before the energy ran out. Otherwise, he would have no choice but to accept a laughable failure.

All we can do is pray to the gods.

PS1: The chapter title comes from "[Slap in the Face]". If you're expecting anything from the chapter title, then I can only say, young man, you're too naive. I'm known as the "Never Dirty" good kid; how could I possibly write that kind of plot? *shrug*

PS2, I'd like to clarify here that the griffin is not a being of authority, but merely a test subject for atavism experiments. I didn't mention this when I wrote it before, which caused some readers to misunderstand. I've already corrected this in the previous text; I forgot to mention it before.

PS3, I only received two recommendations all day on the 5th, what's going on? Is nobody reading? If nobody's really reading, I'll just update every day from now on. Please add to your favorites, please vote, please recommend, please tip, I'm begging for everything!

Chapter Thirty-Four: Definitely Dead

"Well, to be honest, I guess I'm a god too. It's not unreasonable for such a cute god to grant the wishes of a handsome believer, right? Yes, it's definitely possible. I'm not helping Xiaoyuan at all."

Beyond this world, the beautiful girl lightly touched her lips, tilting her head as she tried to convince herself. Clearly, her lack of intelligence allowed her to easily convince herself; this is the legendary state of "even fooling herself."

"However, although that girl can't possibly steal Xiaoyuan away from me, the thought of her confessing to Xiaoyuan and doing experiments with him makes me really angry. I also want to do experiments with Xiaoyuan."

Slightly annoyed, the girl scratched her hair, clearly unhappy that she wasn't the one in the lab with Stuart. Suddenly, she stopped scratching her hair, a "I know!" look appearing on her face. Judging from her excited expression, if someone were next to her, she would definitely pull that person aside and brag about her "intelligence."

"Let them give her a warning while they're at it."

Clapping her hands excitedly, the girl pouted slightly and gently exhaled a tiny flame. The orange flame, no bigger than a candle flame, burned steadily outside the dangerous world, without even the slightest flicker.

"Alright, alright, go ahead."

As if it truly understood the girl's excited words, the small flame vanished instantly, reappearing a moment later atop the head of the transforming harpy beast. After a slight pause, the flame sank into the harpy beast's forehead, and the harpy beast, which had become extremely thin due to insufficient energy, quickly regained its strong muscles, like an inflating balloon.

Upon seeing that tiny flame, Stuart understood immediately; clearly, Lolo had been watching him. This calmed Yuan Yuan, who, since arriving in this world, had felt lost due to its rejection of him, unsure of what to do besides experiments, resulting in somewhat chaotic behavior.

A warm smile played on Stuart's lips as he looked up at the ceiling, as if he could see Lolo beyond this world. His lips moved slowly, and he silently uttered...

"If you're watching me while I'm showering or sleeping, you're dead meat."

In an instant, it seemed as if everyone in the world heard a girl's panicked "Eek!"

Blanche, however, didn't see Stuart's reaction, because as the flame stopped on the hippogriff's forehead, she clearly heard a girl whisper in her ear, "If you want to know what fear is, then keep lingering around him."

The voice was cold, ruthless, and grand. It was just a plain narration, yet it gave her the feeling that the whole world was roaring at her. A sudden surge of fear from the bottom of her heart almost knocked Blanche down, but curiosity that followed the fear easily dispelled that fear.

[Could this terrifying being be related to Stuart? I'm so curious! I'm really curious—what kind of being is it that could achieve such global reach with just one individual's power?! I'm so incredibly curious, I can't contain my curiosity!!!]

Outside of that world, the girl lightly tapped her forehead, a look of regret on her face.

"What a mistake, what a mistake! I completely forgot that the child's nature is curiosity. Now she'll be even more curious about Xiao Yuan. Luo Luo, what a huge mistake!"
