“Send Karim and the others to Hueco Mundo. In the last world, they were practically invincible, their battles were all about crushing their opponents. This time, they can go to Hueco Mundo to gain some combat experience. As for their bodies, I'm sure you, Lolo, have a good way to preserve them.”
"Of course, this is no problem at all,"
Lolo gently pointed in the direction of Karim and the others, and their bodies collapsed, leaving only their souls standing in place. Before they could react, a large, dark hole appeared behind them, sucking them in with irresistible force. After their souls disappeared, orange liquid welled up from Karim and the others' bodies, enveloping them. The liquid quickly solidified and compressed, eventually forming orange crystals no bigger than a finger. Lolo shoved the crystals into Yuan Yuan's hand, and then, as if boneless, leaned softly against him.
"Alright, Xiaoyuan. Now that all the little guys are taken care of, it's just the two of us here. How about we do something naughty? I'm always ready, you know."
Ignoring the idiot leaning against him, Yuan Yuan glanced around and frowned.
"Judging from the level of development of this civilization, it should be quite a long time before the original plot. But that's good, it gives me more time to study. If it went straight to the beginning of the plot, there would be no time for research at all because of fighting every day."
Ignored, Luo Luo lowered her head, looking dejected. But Yuan Yuan, who knew her personality well, wouldn't be fooled by such a trick. He reached out and turned to a branch, and unsurprisingly saw his hand pass through it.
"Alright, hurry up and send me to Soul Society. I don't want a Shinigami stabbing me in the head with the hilt of a sword. As for the human world, we can study that later. Although my soul strength is stronger than that of an ordinary person, I still can't interfere much with matter. I really don't understand how those weak Hollows with much weaker spiritual power than me managed to stomp out such big craters in the ground."
After a small complaint, Yuan Yuan noticed that Luo Luo hadn't opened the portal to Soul Society. Instead, she was clutching his sleeve, looking at him pitifully, as if she'd been wronged. He couldn't help but ask, puzzled.
"What's wrong? You look like someone stole your potato chips."
"It's not about the potato chips. What I want to ask is, Xiaoyuan said he wanted me to send you to Soul Society, so where am I going?"
Hearing Luo Luo's aggrieved question, Yuan Yuan realized his inappropriate wording. He put his hand on Luo Luo's head and ruffled it vigorously, a smile spreading across his face.
"Is there even a question? Of course, you're coming to Soul Society with me."
Then, Yuan Yuan's smile turned terrifying. He looked at Luo Luo sinisterly, pulled her head close to his face, and stared intently into her eyes.
"And it's not just Soul Society. You'll have to follow me wherever I go from now on. If something like what happened in the last world happens again, I'll knock you out and find a place to play imprisonment with you for the rest of my life."
Luo Luo didn't seem scared at all; instead, she nodded vigorously with a happy expression. Knowing Yuan Yuan well, she knew that this was Xiao Yuan's promise—a promise to be together forever. It was just that Xiao Yuan was always awkward and couldn't say it properly.
They casually opened a passage, and Lolo pulled Yuan Yuan inside.
"Hurry up, Yuan! Didn't you say you were going to Soul Society? Stop dawdling!"
Pulled along by Luo Luo and seeing the happy smile on her face, Yuan Yuan couldn't help but smile back, giving her a reassuring smile as well.
Although it was a passage between worlds, it wasn't long, and soon Yuan Yuan and his companion stood on the land of Soul Society. Looking at the people who had noticed them and were now approaching with ill intent, and then at the clearly dilapidated streets around them, Yuan Yuan nodded in satisfaction.
"This place is good; it's a good opportunity for me to try out my manipulation of souls."
The men, armed and with menacing expressions, had completely surrounded the two. A burly man, seemingly their leader, opened his mouth and uttered a series of gibberish. The unpleasant sound made Yuan Yuan frown, looking at the man with disgust.
“I hate this barbaric, backward, and vulgar language, just like the howl of a wild beast, it’s so annoying.”
Raising a finger and pointing it at the man, Yuan Yuan's eyes flashed with a cold light.
“I was originally planning to use you to test initial projects like the interference of spiritual power on the soul, but because of your nauseating voice, I’ve changed my mind. I’m going to use you to experiment with spells. Avada Kedavra.”
A ghastly green beam of light shot from Yuan Yuan's index finger, striking the leader precisely. But like water hitting a wall, the beam scattered the instant it touched the man.
"So, the Killing Curse, which is based on plundering life force, is ineffective against the soul? Then, Cruciatus Curse."
The leader was startled by the green light, thinking he had provoked a Shinigami who could use demonic arts. Just when he thought he was doomed, he discovered that the green light hadn't harmed him at all. Feeling tricked, the leader raised his sword, ready to order his men to chop this man who dared to frighten him into mincemeat. But before he could utter a word, a scarlet beam of light struck his chest.
Instantly, the unprecedented pain caused the leader to howl loudly. The long sword, raised high, fell to the ground along with its master with a crisp clang. The fierce-looking men around him panicked. If Yuan Yuan had killed their leader instantly with a single blow, they wouldn't have panicked; they would have charged forward even more frantically, trying to overwhelm him with their lives.
However, Yuan Yuan used magic, which, in the eyes of these people, was the legendary Kido, a technique only the Grim Reaper could wield. Highly skilled swordsmen and physically strong assassins weren't terrifying; what was terrifying was a Grim Reaper who could use Kido. If a Grim Reaper so desired, they could easily and utterly slaughter an entire neighborhood. What was even more terrifying was that their neighborhood was one of the more remotely numbered areas, where people died every day; even if this Grim Reaper killed them all, no one would care.
Seeing that the people were trying to escape, Yuan Yuan flicked his fingers, casting a series of binding and leg-locking spells, freezing them all in place.
Feeling imprisoned in an unknown way, the refugees' fear deepened, even turning into despair. This unknown method of confinement made them even more convinced that Yuan Yuan was the Grim Reaper.
Ignoring their fear, Yuan Yuan stretched out his arms, making a hugging gesture.
"Now, let's begin the experiment happily."

Chapter Four Transition
"Is this because of insufficient spiritual energy or insufficient precision in the manipulation of spiritual energy? So many experiments have failed."
Rubbing his temples, Yuan Yuan looked at the twisted human figures on the ground with a puzzled expression, feeling a headache coming on.
In Yuan Yuan's view, the process of transforming from a whole body into a void clearly demonstrated that emotions were a significant factor interfering with the soul. However, whether he used the excruciating pain to provoke those people's negative emotions or used spiritual power to synchronize their emotions with his own, it had no effect on them whatsoever; not even the simplest form of voidification occurred.
As Yuan Yuan delved deeper into his thoughts, he applied increasing pressure to his fingers, and soon his temples turned bright red. However, Yuan Yuan seemed oblivious to the pain, continuing to increase the pressure on his fingers.
Lolo pulled out a bag of potato chips from somewhere, popped a handful into her mouth, and seeing Yuan Yuan's troubled expression, casually said...
"Xiao Yuan, you've only just begun to explore the realm of the soul, and you don't understand it at all. Don't you think it's a bit too hasty to try to change it?"
Reminded by Luo Luo's words, Yuan Yuan realized he had indeed been too hasty. He lowered his hand, ruffled Luo Luo's hair, and a smile appeared on his face.
"Indeed, if you want to do better research, it's best to first understand and learn about the structure of the soul. So, how about you come with me and be my student for a few years?"
Lolo, who had been munching on potato chips, suddenly stopped. After a moment, she realized what was happening and tossed all her favorite potato chips into the air.
"I can go to school with Xiaoyuan now! I can be classmates with Xiaoyuan! This is amazing! This is wonderful! I'm so happy!"
Hearing Lolo's cheers, Yuan Yuan smiled for what felt like the umpteenth time today; he knew he'd smiled more in a single day than he'd smiled in the entire Harry Potter world over twenty years. But his smile quickly froze on his face.
"I can do it with Xiaoyuan on the rooftop, in the sports storage room, in an empty classroom, and even on the grand piano. I've wanted to try all these things for a long time, but Xiaoyuan is too talented and doesn't need to go to school, which has disappointed me for a long time. Now I can finally have my wish fulfilled, it's so great."
After showing Lolo what a three-hundred-hit combo with a hand chop looked like and making her admit her mistake, Yuan Yuan unleashed a Fire Spell to clean up the humanoid trash on the ground.
"Fortunately, the Soul Extraction technique is also useful for souls, allowing me to learn quickly by recalling the memories of those useless people. Otherwise, I really can't imagine what it would be like to learn this disgusting, 500-year-old Japanese little by little."
He uttered a series of awkward sounds and pulled Lolo toward the place where the leader remembered the True Central Spiritual Arts Academy recruiting students.
One of them possessed a soul strength far exceeding that of ordinary people, while the other was a legendary being. Naturally, they had no problem passing the entrance test for the Shinigami Academy. Soon, the students of Shinigami learned that two more exceptionally talented students had arrived at the academy, and they were said to have been directly assigned to the best classes.
Although Yuan Yuan and Luo Luo were transfer students, the teacher in charge of teaching the elite class did not show them any special consideration and continued to teach according to the original schedule, only saying that if they had any questions, they could ask him privately.
This sparked a lot of discussion among the students. The general consensus was that the nobles didn't want to see geniuses or strong individuals emerge from among the commoners, so they were deliberately making things difficult for the newly arrived geniuses. Others thought the two geniuses were foolish to enroll halfway through the semester; they should have waited another year and enrolled in the following semester.
Of course, Yuan Yuan, who was new to the academy and had no friends, was unaware that he had become the talk of the town, though even if he did, he wouldn't care. Although he could tell that the teachers were trying to make things difficult for him, Yuan Yuan didn't mind. On the one hand, in his view, those teachers were clearly only rich in theoretical knowledge, but their own abilities were extremely weak. It was normal for such people to be jealous of geniuses, and there was nothing to care about.
On the other hand, Yuan Yuan's main reason for entering the Shinigami Academy was to learn basic knowledge about the soul. Aside from the release principles of Kido and the brief mention of body structure during Hakuda (a type of martial arts) instruction, there was nothing else worth learning from the teachers. Whether it was Kido, sword techniques, Hakuda, or Shunpo, what the Shinigami teachers taught were all the most basic and universal forms; Yuan Yuan could learn those things quickly through self-study.
The only place that Yuan Yuan valued in the Zhenyang Academy was the library. Although many students considered the books there to be useless and obscure, Yuan Yuan saw them as truly valuable.
The students who had initially planned to watch the spectacle, seeing that the new genius showed no intention of protesting—the boys were engrossed in reading in the library, and the girls were only interested in watching the boy—had given up on further discussion.
Soon, the news of the arrival of two geniuses at the Shinigami Academy was forgotten by almost everyone except the Captain-Commander. Everyone assumed that the two so-called geniuses were simply born with powerful spiritual energy and were nothing special.
In this situation where no one cared, Lolo and Yuan Yuan's school life was incredibly peaceful, even less exciting than when Yuan Yuan was at Hogwarts.
Yuan Yuan focused on his studies, and Luo Luo focused on watching Yuan Yuan. Before long, three years had passed without either of them noticing anything.
The Shinigami Academy 500 years ago and the Shinigami Academy 500 years later are completely different things. Before the establishment of the Technology Development Bureau, students did not have any simulated Hollows for their internships. The academy would send students directly to places where a large number of Hollows were lured in with Hollow bait for real combat. In order to reduce student casualties, several captains and sixth-year students would accompany the students during each internship to help them kill the powerful Hollows and leave the weak ones for the third-year students to practice on.
Yuan Yuan originally thought that this internship would be uneventful, after all, not to mention Aizen, even Aizen's grandfather hadn't been born yet. But after arriving at the internship location, he realized that he had underestimated the influence of the two geniuses. Ordinary people might ignore him or forget him because of his three years of silence, but the shrewd old man, the Captain-Commander, obviously wouldn't.
The bald old man, leaning on a cane, stood at the very front of the internship group, his eyes narrowed, his face calm and revealing nothing of his thoughts. The students, who rarely even saw their captains, let alone the Captain-Commander, were suddenly filled with excitement upon seeing him standing at the pinnacle of Soul Society. They huddled together, chattering excitedly about how to impress him and seize this opportunity for rapid advancement.
However, Yuan Yuan knew that the old man was after him. He could clearly feel a powerful spiritual pressure pressing down on him ever since he arrived.
"It seems that things can't stay ordinary any longer."

Chapter Five: The Great Void
Yamamoto Genryusai truly lived up to his reputation as the most powerful Shinigami in a thousand years. Despite constantly releasing spiritual pressure to oppress Yuan Yuan, the students around Yuan Yuan were completely unaware of it.
Spiritual pressure is inherently a violent force, its purpose being to unleash its full power, overwhelming the enemy in a furious manner and preventing them from using their full strength in battle. Ordinary Shinigami—no, to be precise, most Shinigami, including some captains—can only control the release and restraint of their spiritual pressure. Their limit is controlling the amount of spiritual pressure output, unlike ordinary Shinigami who can release it all at once.
However, the terrifying control that someone like Yamamoto Genryusai can precisely release spiritual pressure onto one person without affecting those around them is something that ordinary people cannot achieve.
Although Yuan Yuan hadn't stopped training his Shinigami powers while at the Shinigami Academy, he hadn't devoted much effort to it either, focusing instead on researching the structure of the soul. However, after witnessing Yamamoto Genryusai's exquisite manipulation of spiritual pressure, Yuan Yuan's thinking changed, and he began to take the Shinigami powers more seriously.
However, Yamamoto Genryusai had no idea what Yuan Yuan was thinking. Before seeing Yuan Yuan in person, he thought of Yuan Yuan as a promising but unambitious young man. His purpose in coming here was to put some pressure on Yuan Yuan, to make the young man wake up, train hard, and become a Shinigami as soon as possible so that he could serve the Soul Society.
However, after meeting Yuan Yuan, Yamamoto Genryusai's opinion changed. He could see that the young man possessed extremely strong spiritual power and was very diligent, clearly having never slacked off in training his spiritual power. Moreover, judging from his gait, he was obviously not weak in either swordsmanship or hand-to-hand combat. In his heart, Yamamoto Genryusai silently changed his assessment of Yuan Yuan from unambitious to cautious.
In Yamamoto Genryusai's view, Yuan Yuan was clearly afraid of being persecuted by the nobles and had no choice but to hide his talents. As for Luo Luo, according to the captain's evaluation, he was truly unambitious. Although he had decent spiritual power, it was loose and untrained, and his gait was unsteady, indicating that his physical skills were also extremely poor.
Because Luo Luo's initial goal was simply to play with Yuan Yuan, she naturally wouldn't try to stand out. As a result, the shrewd Captain-Commander, confused and oblivious, dismissed the strongest person in the history of the Soul Society as a piece of trash.
Upon seeing the three tall, clown-like Hollows with pointed noses in the testing field, Yuan Yuan understood that this was the test prepared for him by Yamamoto Genryusai. He didn't believe that those third-year students could handle the Killian, even if they were just the lowest-ranking Hollows, they were still not something an ordinary Shinigami could kill, let alone a group of students who had just entered the battlefield.
In previous internships, when faced with such Hollows, the captains in charge of security would instantly eliminate them. But these three big guys were completely unharmed, swaggering around like idiots in front of a captain who was hiding his spiritual pressure, slowly shaking their heads and making unpleasant noises. Yuan Yuan would never believe it without the Captain-Commander's orders.
As Yuan Yuan walked towards the group of mentally challenged individuals, he inwardly marveled at Yamamoto Genryusai's magnanimity and ruthlessness. Judging from the expressions of the students around him, they were clearly terrified by the sudden appearance of the Killian. If nothing unexpected happened, their lives would be essentially ruined, their strength would not improve, and they would only be able to join the combat squad as worthless cannon fodder.
To test the strength of a genius, he was willing to sacrifice the future of an entire grade of students. Yamamoto Genryusai, as expected of a Captain-Commander for five hundred years, was ruthless enough.
Yuan Yuan wasn't a saint, so naturally he wouldn't be so bored as to feel sorry for a few students he didn't recognize. He stood at the feet of a Gillian, watching as this idiot, because he had concealed his spiritual pressure, walked towards the group of students without noticing at all.
With a sigh, Yuan Yuan pushed off with his feet, lamenting that he had actually stooped to bullying the mentally challenged. His movements, however, were swift; aided by a burst of spiritual energy, he easily leaped onto the Killian's nose. It was only because of the spiritual energy fluctuations emanating from Yuan Yuan's jump that the Killian noticed the small figure, and his first instinct was to devour this seemingly delicious creature.
However, Killian quickly realized that because his mouth was below his nose, and the food was standing on his nose, he couldn't eat at all. Instinctively, the Hollow began to shake his head, trying to shake Yuan Yuan off. Although the force generated by a monster the size of a ten-story building shaking was not to be underestimated, it was not enough to make Yuan Yuan, who was proficient in boxing and hand-to-hand combat, lose his balance and fall.
The captain, whose eyes were already blind, narrowed them even more, his beard twitched a few times, and he uttered the word "slippery" with a slight chuckle.
Yuan Yuan, of course, had no idea that his impulsive action had led the old man to perceive him as cunning, a label usually reserved for serious men. He extended his right hand and pressed it against Killian's unclosed eyes, his expression relaxed.
"After seeing something as utterly worthless as you, I am once again certain of the flaws in natural life. Slow movement, limited attack methods, and insufficient intelligence—I truly don't understand how you survive. Alright, now it's time to say goodbye. Hado #73, Twin Lotus Azure Flame Fall."
The high-level breaching attack at point-blank range blasted Killian's head to smithereens. Yuan Yuan, stepping on the nose that was falling downwards, exerted his strength again and jumped in front of another Killian. This time, he didn't say anything and simply used a high-level breaching attack, Thunder Roar Cannon, to pierce through this Killian and also shatter the head of the mentally challenged one behind him.
Without a trace of smoke or fire, Yuan Yuan gently landed back on the ground, and from an angle unnoticed by anyone, he tucked a small fragment of the mask into his pocket. Although Yuan Yuan sometimes hunted Hollows in Rukongai for research, Hollows like Killian, who had reached the level of Grand Hollows, generally didn't appear in Soul Society. Even if they did, combat squads or captains would quickly arrive and kill them. Therefore, Yuan Yuan had never had the opportunity to obtain a Grand Hollow's body tissue. Of course, he wouldn't let such a good opportunity slip by.
The students' eyes were wide open, staring at Yuan Yuan in disbelief as he effortlessly killed a Hollow that even ordinary Shinigami members couldn't handle. Now, thinking back, they realized that the person in front of them was a genius.
Yamamoto Genryusai nodded in satisfaction. Although Yuan Yuan did not use his Zanpakuto, the Kido abilities he displayed alone convinced the old man that he should focus on training Yuan Yuan.
PS1, thank you for the donation from "My Emotions Are Getting Worse".
PS2, would you say that when writing about Hollowfication, the image of a giant hysteria always popped into my head?
PS3, I've wanted to complain about the Killian's design for a long time. The anime gives the figure that it's 50 meters tall, and I'm just wondering how the writers changed the scale so that a human isn't a tiny speck next to a 50-meter monster.
