Chapter 1 The Sister I Only Met
When it comes to traffic violations, you have to look to Turing Tower. A perfectly good land vehicle suddenly turned into a flying vehicle, and the journey took even less time than Chu Yinan had expected before they arrived at their destination.
Chu Yinan couldn't say where he was, but Fu Xi said it was just a few degrees higher in latitude. As soon as he got off the car, he was surrounded by ice and snow. Caught off guard, Chu Yinan sneezed several times.
He had already changed into autumn clothes, but it was still a bit too much to ward off the icy and snowy weather.
Qilin was the last to get off the bus. Her clothes were still in their usual style, and she hadn't changed her "skin" just because she was going out. When the cold wind blew her light clothes, you could see her delicate and flawless thigh skin. Although the clothes looked thin, the biting cold wind couldn't make them flutter much, as they had a built-in gravity-based anti-exposure design.
She waved, and a drone that accompanied her flew over and tossed several sets of clothes to Chu Yinan and the others.
"Put your clothes on properly so you don't catch a cold. Parking is difficult up ahead; you'll have to walk five minutes across the street."
Chu Yinan readily took the warm dog-skin coat, quickly put it on, and then urged Marissa to put it on quickly so she wouldn't catch a cold.
"There are so few people here." Marissa put on her clothes and then tucked her head into her raised collar.
Although Vallis also wore a thick winter coat, she instantly "disguised" herself as a girl in her usual autumn school uniform, ensuring both warmth and style.
"There weren't many people outside to begin with, and there are even fewer in places with such harsh climates. The whole city probably only has around 30,000 people now. Considering that some people go elsewhere to spend the winter, I doubt there are even 10,000 people here."
Chu Yinan looked around and found that it was true. Occasionally, he could see people moving around in the windows of the residential buildings on both sides of the street, but there were hardly any people on the street. At most, he could hear car horns honking in the distance.
"Sister Qilin, don't you need to disguise yourself before showing your face? You look so classical in this kind of environment, it's a bit punk."
“There’s no need. I’ve hacked all the recording equipment around here, so even if passersby see me, they won’t be able to leave any trace of me. Besides, we never need to pretend to be part of the crowd just to blend in.”
Qilin held Chu Yinan and Marissa's hands on either side, with Vallis following beside them. The hospital was just across the street, and the bright red cross could be seen amidst the swirling snow.
The pedestrian crossing light had just turned red, but after Qilin arrived, the red light turned green instantly after only one second of the countdown. Qilin led them across the safety signal in an orderly manner, obeying traffic rules.
------------
Hospitals now have a more comprehensive function because there is no need to divide functional attributes so meticulously. There is a shortage of staff, so sanatoriums and hospitals have been merged.
In the pleasantly warm lobby, you can see many elderly people dressed in thin hospital gowns, chatting together.
Upon seeing the strangely dressed, beautiful woman, everyone was astonished. She could withstand the sub-zero outdoor temperature while wearing such thin clothes without even messing up her hair.
Although some elderly people could be heard reminding them to wear more clothes, no one stopped them.
The hospital's inpatient section consists of two buildings: one is an old, dilapidated, and abandoned building, while the other is newer, but it's not much better with the wind and snow.
In that abandoned hospital building, one of the wards had a light on. After walking through the deserted corridor, Qilin led them to the ward they had scouted. After a token knock, they pushed the door open and entered without waiting for a reply.
"How rude of you! You should at least wait for me to speak... Hmm? What's this little mouse doing here too?"
The woman lying on the hospital bed had a head of messy black hair, but this messiness was more about unruliness and casualness. Although she had a very pretty oval face, her jawline did not have much feminine softness, and her left eye was covered with layers of gauze.
Her gaze swept over the people who came in, then she looked at Vallis with displeasure; the "little mouse" she had just mentioned was clearly referring to her.
"Why are you so disrespectful as soon as we meet? You're already lying down and still pretending. You can't outrun me now."
"Is this the Qilin? And who are the two children next to it?" Wei asked, her eyes filled with doubt. She had a general idea, but she wasn't sure yet.
Chu Yinan thought this time she would be a very mean older sister, but she felt that she was more like a cheerful and bold yakuza boss.
Vallis patted Chu Yinan and Marissa on the head: "They're your younger brother and sister. Call them over to see how silly you are. Introduce yourselves briefly so she doesn't miss a chance to hear the rest."
When Chu Yinan and Marisa were suddenly told that they had an older sister, they were not quite used to it, so they naturally couldn't be described as "talkative".
But Chu Yinan took the lead and talked about how he was adopted after leaving Turing Tower, and Marisa followed suit and briefly talked about what happened after she left the island.
Marissa spoke with a slight stutter, worried that she might not have spoken well, or that this stranger might laugh at her for sharing her experiences. But surprisingly, this older sister, who had been arguing with Vallis since they met, listened very attentively and had a very gentle expression.
"That's good, but I didn't expect that Xiao Chu Nan, the older brother, is even smaller than his younger sister Marisa. I hope these two children haven't done anything bad to compensate for their mistakes?" In the second half of his sentence, Wei dropped the gentleness he had shown when talking to Xiao Chu Nan and Marisa, and questioned Qilin in an unfriendly tone.
"Xiao Chunan's compensation is that she won't grow tall, and Marisa is a bit weak, prone to catching colds and fevers, and has a hoarse voice," Qilin said simply, not intending to say more, leaving the time for Xiao Chunan and the others.
Upon hearing that the compensation was in this way, Wei nodded with relief.
"Sigh, I feel that the younger brothers and sisters who grew up on the artificial island are cuter. Look at what we, who grew up outside the island, have become."
Valise was unmoved:
"Don't waste my time with your sarcastic remarks. If you don't know what to say, just talk about your life experiences and insights."
"It's my fault for not slapping you to death back then, you really made me angry. As for life experience and all that, I don't have that kind of thing. But if I really want to say something, I think the younger brothers and sisters should get closer to Turing Tower. As long as you have this special background from Turing Tower, you will always be used as a tool by people outside. You can't integrate, you work hard but get no thanks, and in the end you will be the one who suffers. Only Turing Tower is home."
"And I also have to complain about Qilin and Fuxi. You clearly realized long ago that the United Council had been almost completely infiltrated; the research projects they approved for you were already planned to take us away. I know you have to listen to those damn rules and respect the United Council's decisions, but if you had resisted even a little, my younger siblings would have been better off, even if... never mind, it's no use saying more, it's all over."
Did you buy me some coffee and bring it up?
Wei got up from the bed wearily and walked to the old, rusty window that could not be opened to look at the outside view.
The accompanying drone placed a steaming cup of coffee on the small table. Chu Yinan was about to strike up a conversation by saying that he also liked coffee, but he smelled something was off about the coffee.
It was so strong that the smell was almost off, and in fact, his judgment was correct. Rather than coffee, it was more like a highly concentrated caffeine solution with a few drops of coffee juice mixed in to moisten the mouth.
"Caffeine, a stimulant, long-term use affects sleep and leads to high blood pressure, myocardial infarction, abnormal heart rate, neurological abnormalities, dehydration... I really hate this stuff, it affects my sleep so much, what kind of compensation is this?" Wei complained in a low voice.
But as soon as she picked up the espresso, she realized she no longer needed to endure the compensatory treatment, and she threw the "drink" into the trash can. "I want to rest, I should go to sleep. You guys go back first. Little Chunan and Marissa, you two should have a good time!"
Chapter 2 Cracks
The time spent away from the island was not long, and the time spent meeting with Wei was even shorter. We just met briefly and then I returned.
Chu Yinan didn't know what happened next from the AI sisters, probably because they didn't want to reveal what happened afterward.
However, Chu Yinan knew a little bit about it. Chu Yinan drank at most two cups of coffee a day, while Wei drank it like water to compensate, so it wasn't coffee anymore, it was caffeine.
What's the difference between that and paying the price for talent?
Because of this incident, Chu Yinan was listless for a whole week, and even gradually stopped drinking coffee.
Although Wei was a stranger to him in every way, she was also one of his own, and Chu Yinan always remembered her sighs.
—As long as you have this special origin from Turing Tower... you can't fit in... only Turing Tower is home.
"Aunt Liu and Yu Tang are different, right? At least they've always treated me like family." Chu Yinan sat on the second-floor terrace, drinking water, lost in thought, daydreaming, and talking to herself.
Chun is the only one at home right now. This week, the maid has been assigned to keep a close eye on Xiao Chunan, who is very depressed.
In the past, there were always plenty of fresh lemons in the refrigerator, but the lemons that had accumulated this week were all stale. The jar of coffee beans hadn't been touched either, because Xiao Chunan hadn't had an appetite for coffee this week.
The silver-haired maid stood in the corridor, watching Xiao Chu Nan basking in the sun alone on the terrace. She felt she should go and offer some words of comfort, even if she didn't know what was going on.
"Xiao Chunan, have you been unhappy about something lately?" Chun sat down on the pure white chair next to him, feeling nervous, as she had never done this kind of psychological counseling before.
But... I hope I won't mess it up, it's not like it's housework.
"I wouldn't say I'm unhappy, but I can't be happy either. I feel like if I were happy right now, I'd be heartless." Chu Yinan shook his head, wanting to take a sip of water to moisten his throat, but it made him feel a little nauseous. "Don't some places have customs like a week of mourning when a relative or friend passes away?"
Chun's heart tightened. Could it be that something happened to Xiao Chun's relative? No, everyone at home is fine, and nothing happened at Lefie Manor. Could it be that his favorite virtual character graduated?
“If any of my deceased relatives or friends knew that Xiao Chunan was so depressed, they would definitely be sad too. Try to cheer me up a little... When I was in the orphanage, Sister Aisha said that when you are sad, just find someone to hug you. I think it is very helpful. Every time I hug Sister Aisha, I feel better.”
Aisha? Chu Yinan remembered her; she was the rather wicked maid in the Liszt household.
Chun was a little embarrassed, so she opened her full and proud bosom to hug Chu Yinan. Chu Yinan couldn't refuse, so he hugged her back.
Chu Yinan held Chun in his arms and felt that she was still very petite. Even with his short arms, it was not difficult for him to wrap his arms around her waist, similar to Marissa. However, Chun's breasts were indeed quite fatty.
Because of the friction during the hug, Chu Yinan noticed that one of her buttons seemed to have been left undone, leaving a small opening just below her chest, revealing glimpses of her underwear and that deep slit.
This position was right in a complete blind spot; it was an oversight in the estimation.
Chu Yinan reached out and probed into the ditch, pulling out the buttons that were tucked inside. Completely unaware of the reason, he awkwardly covered his large breasts in front of him.
Because of a misunderstanding at Liszt's house, Aisha later found many comics to give Chun physiological guidance, which included many strange and unusual ways to play. Aisha used this to teach Chun to be on guard so as not to be taken advantage of by unscrupulous young masters.
Some manga tutorials include cutting a slit below the breasts of a girl's school swimsuit to make it easier for the guy to... well, you know...
Why did Xiao Chunan just unbutton her clothes and touch them with his fingers?
"Little Chunan, you...you really want to do this? You have to keep it a secret! Normally it's not allowed, but considering you've been so down lately..."
After saying that, she squatted down in front of Xiao Chunan. Her beautiful silver hair framed her rosy cheeks, but her expression was serious. As she held him in her hands, she nervously swallowed.
Huh? Which one do I want?
A question mark appeared above Chu Yinan's head, but given his extensive experience with comics, he quickly understood the situation and subtly said:
"Chun, you didn't button up there, I just helped you unbutton it... You know so much."
"Eh?"
Chun's face froze, wishing she could disappear into the ground. What was this all about?! Why did she have such a misunderstanding?!
"That was a misunderstanding! My legs were just sore, so I just wanted to bend them and squat down."
"Then you don't need to hold those two big treasures in your arms and point them at me, do you?"
"It was just too heavy, so I picked it up." Chun started rambling incoherently, the more she explained, the more confused she became.
Ten minutes later, the silver-haired maid calmed down, but she was still incredibly nervous and ashamed inside. Her white-stockinged legs were nervously pressed together under the coffee table, occasionally twisting, but her expression was calm and serious: "I've gotten back into the swing of things."
Chu Yinan could see everything clearly through the transparent glass tabletop of the coffee table.
Her voice was barely audible as she whispered, "If it would cheer Xiao Chunan up, it wouldn't be a bad idea to come to me. I may not be as tall as Sister Diliya, but I'm not that much shorter..."
"Huh? What did you say?"
"It's nothing! I mean, if Xiao Chunan is feeling very upset, he can try tidying up his room. A tidy room will help relieve stress."
Chu Yinan was so comforted by Chun that he was too embarrassed to daydream on the terrace. Now his attention kept glancing at the little maid's pectoral muscles. He felt that if this continued, something else might happen.
"Then I'll go tidy up my room and de-stress."
--------------
"How should I tidy up the room? It's so neat."
Chu Yinan was in a dilemma. His and Yu Tang's room didn't have much stuff to begin with, so he had to move to Aunt Liu's bedroom. But the maid had also cleaned it up so thoroughly that there was no room for him to do anything!
"Let's just mess it up first, then put it back together."
After making up his mind, Chu Yinan turned into a husky, ransacking the room and leaving Aunt Liu and Heinrich's underwear, stockings, and other personal items scattered all over the bed.
However, he unexpectedly found a small dark red wood box, which was clearly filled with treasured items, otherwise it wouldn't have been stored in such an expensive-looking box.
Could it be jewelry? Or perhaps some kind of adult toy between Aunt Liu and Heinrich?
Driven by curiosity, Chu Yinan opened the box, but instead of the special toy he had imagined, it contained some photos and medical documents.
