"Thank you for your guidance!" Hundreds of different voices rang out.
At the same time, the camera clicked.
That inextinguishable flame, that unwavering vow, that unregretful youth—all were condensed into this scene.

Author's Closing Remarks!!!
Uh oh, I got perfect attendance! I've moved my home back to the park bench!
This book is finally finished. After nearly two years, I can finally hold my head high and write my closing remarks.
First of all--
Enough said, let me first thank my editor for getting me featured on the Sanjiang website and receiving strong recommendations, and even more recommendations kept coming one after another, making me feel like I had a warm home... But later it turned out that my success was just an illusion...
It has to be said that this was a rather bumpy writing experience. From the very first volume, I was constantly struggling with writer's block and writing errors. Later, I started to struggle with time, often having to squeeze out 4000 words in the last two hours before midnight. And then, I started to struggle with a lack of creative enthusiasm... which is to say, I was struggling with myself.
Humans are destined to have limits, but I am proud of my talent and gifts, so I cannot have limits.
The good news is that I did it. I finished writing over a million words in the fastest, best, and most concise way, without any padding or dragging. I didn't abandon the story or leave it unfinished, and I successfully avoided the ending being taken down by Pixiv.
Although this book only had an average of 1650 subscriptions by the end, which is still a full halfway to becoming a top-quality product, I firmly believe that as long as I continue writing and building my reputation, more and more people will notice the existence of this book. In the end, it will not only be a top-quality product, but also have tens of thousands of subscriptions, as long as I persevere.
So, back to the creative aspect... I'll say it again: I never imagined I would write about Go, let alone add so many fantastical elements to it.
I originally only intended to write a romance novel with Go as its theme, maybe dabble in stocks or build a career, but it seems that ever since I spent five minutes brainstorming a fortune-telling concept, it has suddenly taken a strange turn.
Although this direction may not be good, it is difficult enough. I need to carefully design the power-up points, design the rise and fall of emotions and rhythm and the foreshadowing, and also set up suspense and spend time rendering the oppressive power of the bosses. In short, it can really annoy people.
Judging from the current market conditions, if I had taken the harem-style stock trading route back then, I might have already achieved the initial stage of financial freedom. However, even if I took a strange path, I still achieved half of my goal.
Sometimes, life is about choosing between something difficult and something good. While the good option may seem like a smooth and beautiful path, there are things that are even more beautiful and extraordinary that are hidden behind the difficult path.
So, back to the characters, if this novel were to be like a visual novel, it would probably have three romanceable characters, or three routes.
First of all, there is a storyline that belongs to Bai Meng. She is a very special character, so special that I have messed up the story several times because of her. As a result, I was afraid to write about her in the middle of the story and kept her in a semi-disappearing state. In order to cool down her out-of-control behavior, I specially arranged a group of female friends for her so that no matter when she appears, she will always have female friends by her side.
What makes this character special is that she has very little connection with chess, but is too aggressive in pursuing romance. If she makes even the slightest mistake, she could ruin the entire novel.
Actually, in my original script, there was a scene where Ke Zhiguang was invited by the University of Tokyo to give a lecture to the students in the auditorium, which was a series of pretentious scenes. At that time, Bai Meng would be the president of the University of Tokyo Go Club and would be arranged to receive Ke Zhiguang. The two would chat as they walked through the pavilions and corridors. Suddenly, Bai Meng switched the pronunciation of the conversation to standard Chinese, which surprised Ke Zhiguang.
"I learned it specifically because I didn't want to lose to Ms. Harushima."
That's roughly the plot.
However, for the sake of the overall situation, I cut this part. If we really ignore the factors of other characters and let it develop in this way, I can't say what would happen.
The second line is naturally Xingcai's.
Even after I finished writing, I still didn't really know what kind of personality she had. It seemed like she was a bit of a queen, a bit of a nerdy girl, a bit of a younger sister, and a bit of a younger sister. In short, it seemed like there was nothing she didn't have.
Although I don't know what kind of personality she has, I'm somehow able to write a lot based on her conversations and behavior.
If I had to explain, she might be a protagonist type, not as the female lead, but as the pure main protagonist, like the female lead in a yuri novel... But to be fair, this is one of the character designs I admire the most. After all, my favorite thing to do is write female lead novels, so even if I can't figure out any heart-stirring interactions between her and Ke Zhiguang, she is still a romanceable character.
In my initial idea, there was a sister matchup, but after studying it for a long time, I couldn't quite put together that setup. Plus, I was busy being the most active player, so I simplified it and just put both of them on the same team.
If there were a script where Kojima eventually ends up on Hoshino's side, the ending would probably involve the dog god enshrined at the Inoue Shrine going out of control and possessing Kojima, leading to some kind of confrontation between them.
Ke Zhiguang was no match for her in the early stages, but Xingcai regained consciousness through her own efforts and used her own strength to finish the second half of the game against Ke Zhiguang.
The route of Harushima Kashima is undoubtedly the female lead's route.
As a fundamentalist in the world of anime and manga, I have very high standards for the female lead. She is the only female lead and the most unshakeable main heroine. First of all, she must appear in the first episode, preferably in the very first scene. Even if it is presented in reverse chronological order, she must be placed first, so that she can give people the feeling of a character who suddenly appears out of nowhere.
The second high standard requirement for the female lead is that she must have a mystery that runs throughout the entire story.
The obvious mystery is, of course, the mystery of the Dragon-Locking Pillar, while the hidden plot revolves around the character Isshin Harujima.
At the very beginning of the story, I had already conceived of the setting that Harujima Isshin = Huang Longshi. However, in the original script, I did not have the plot of the ancient chess player's revival. Therefore, after all the chains of the Dragon-Locking Pillar were unlocked, Huang Longshi himself appeared behind Harujima Shika. This is what Koshikawa Tatsumi meant when he said, "Isshin-senpai lives in her chess game."
However, there was no other way. When it came to writing about the Castle Chess Battle, I really didn't know what to fight. I couldn't just go straight in with basic attacks. I had to introduce some minions, mini-bosses, and mid-bosses as setup. So, the setting of the Dragon Lock Pillar = Isshin Seishima was directly canceled.
Although the mystery of the Dragon-Locking Pillar is gone, at least the claim of "flying to space" has been fulfilled.
The third requirement for the female lead is that she must participate in every single event the male lead experiences, and cannot be absent from any of them.
In terms of the result, I did a pretty good job. All these points were met. Harushima Kaoru is undoubtedly the heroine, and only by following her perspective can one fully appreciate the whole story and worldview.
As for this "troublesome" personality... to be honest, I really didn't intend to portray her like this. In my initial plan, she was actually the aloof queen type, with eyes that seemed to hold a layer of ice. However, perhaps because I wrote a "troublesome" female character in my previous book, I ended up writing another one at a certain crucial point, due to inertia...
Actually, I prefer the various villains in this book to the female characters. Many novels use the conquest of female characters as the main storyline of each volume, and these villains are very well written, with each one a master of conquest. The only problem is that after conquering them and adding them to the harem, the character's charm and screen time will drop significantly... Well, that's human nature. But then I thought, isn't this just the boss mode? After all, once you defeat the boss, you really can leave them alone.
Overall, although this book still has many strange little plot holes to fill, for me, the completion level is already high enough. It has achieved the effect I expected, and even fulfilled a promise I made in the book group a long time ago, saying that I would use Go to start a game. Although most people who follow this book probably don't understand Go, I firmly believe that in that chapter, everyone will understand Go. Congratulations!
But as I mentioned before, my enthusiasm for writing this book eventually reached a very pessimistic point. The main reason for my lack of enthusiasm was that I was already eager to work on the next book.
I thought about my next book for a long time before making a decision.
Let's talk about Dragon Raja fanfiction! Let's write Dragon Raja fanfiction! Shout our slogan: Punch Water Bro, Kick Elephant Emperor! Charge! Charge! Charge!
Ahem, everyone, keep your voices down. Don't spread this slogan around; just keep it to yourselves.
Although the current market for Dragon Raja fanfiction seems very competitive, after taking a closer look, I feel that many people haven't hit the mark and we need someone knowledgeable to bring something to the table.
However, to be fair, while my Dragon Raja fanfiction will champion fundamentalism, its content will be quite bizarre. If Water Brother made everyone exclaim, "So you can actually write about Dragon Raja?" and Elephant Emperor made everyone exclaim, "So Dragon Raja can be written like this?", then I will make everyone exclaim, "So this can also be Dragon Raja?"
In conclusion, this is another rather difficult road, but only on this stage can I better showcase my talents.
Furthermore, my Dragon Raja novel will absolutely not be aiming for 4k words per day; we're going to shout out our slogan—6k words per day!
One spoiler about this book is that the main protagonist will be a female character, meaning it's a female-centric story. Female-centric stories are my specialty, and I will use an original female character to end the Dragon Raja game. Please look forward to her performance.
This book will probably be officially released at the end of August or the beginning of September. Please look forward to it. I have a feeling that this will be my masterpiece.
Shout out our slogan—High-quality products! (Average order count: 3000)
Goodbye, everyone.
My new book, "Dragon Raja: Searching for Lu Mingfei," has been released!
