Without hesitation, he raised his foot and viciously struck the other's face. The other flew backward, swaying and circling in the air for a couple of moments before regaining its balance.

The current Im has changed compared to the beginning—in just a few dozen seconds, hard shells have grown on its bones from its original fleshy wings, and it has also been covered with a layer of feathers to reduce the obstruction and friction during flight.

Looking down at the ground, and at Sett who had recovered completely and whose eyes were now brimming with heroic energy, Im felt neither relief nor carelessness.

Sett, on the other hand, felt as refreshed as if he'd drunk an ice-cold beer on a sweltering summer day. He cracked his neck a couple of times, making a series of popping sounds. With a casual expression, he asked, "What kind of ability is that? It looks pretty good!"

"..."

After a moment of silence, Im finally spoke: "Paramecia type, Evolution Fruit."

"An evolution fruit? Does such a fruit exist?"

Sett scratched his head, looking completely unconcerned. Similarly, Whitebeard and the others in the distance were also filled with confusion—they had never heard of such a fruit.

In response, Im simply said, "Yes... but before that, only I knew about it and only I had eaten it, so it wasn't included in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia."

Out of respect for Sett, Im said, "The ability is... through absorption, battle, pressure, and then evolution! In the past five hundred years... this is the first time I've evolved so rapidly!!!"

324 Finishing Move

With that, Im focused all his attention on Sett in front of him—was the Evolution Fruit powerful? Undoubtedly, extremely powerful. Since obtaining this fruit five hundred years ago, Im had been lying low.

In order to remain immortal, Im specifically captured the Sea Kings living in the deep sea, and then gained a long life force through constant battles and near-death experiences.

It sounds like the Evolution Fruit is invincible. But in reality, each evolution of the Evolution Fruit requires immense pressure.

At first, things were alright, because of his weak strength, he faced pressure and powerful enemies everywhere. But as his power continued to increase, even the pressure that Im encountered gradually decreased. In the past hundred years, Im has only evolved a mere three times... especially the third time, which took nearly fifty years.

And now, in just a brief battle, the pressure emanating from Sett has already caused Im to undergo three evolutions—first the bone spikes, then the thick fleshy wings, and finally the chitinous hollow carapace and back feathers on the fleshy wings…

However, if Im really had a choice, he wouldn't want the evolution to be so rapid—because it would also mean that Sett's power had exceeded the limits of his comprehension. In that case, he would also be at a disadvantage!

Ultimately, Im craves evolution, but not the threat of death. This is the complete opposite of Sett, who seems to crave even greater pressure!

"Hmph... Hahahaha!!! Keep going!!!"

With a roar, Sett's body became a blur. With a heavy slam, the mountain behind Sett was shattered into countless fragments of rock.

As the storm raged, Sett's face contorted into a grotesque, demonic shape. With a punch thrown amidst the rushing wind, a speed beyond comprehension struck Im squarely in the abdomen. It wasn't a fist, but a vicious hook arm strike.

Unlike humans, although Im has developed a heavy chitinous carapace in his abdominal cavity through evolution, his waist and abdomen were still uncontrollably blasted into a "《" shape when faced with Sett's impact.

Hanging on the ground, Sett's body was steaming with blood energy. He raised his arms and slammed them down like a thunderous rain of meteors. Even the thick carapace on his head shattered at a visible speed when faced with Sett's fists, sending tiny fragments flying everywhere in the blink of an eye.

Gritting his teeth, Im forced his body up with his legs and waist, then blocked Sett's iron fist with his arms, and flipped over to pin Sett down. In response, Sett arched his back and then delivered a thunderous headbutt straight to the bullseye.

A sharp, intense dizziness assaulted Im's mind, his soft brain churning and colliding within his skull. When he finally regained consciousness, Sett had one foot planted on Im's broad back, then tore at Im's fleshy wings with both hands. With a pitiful roar, or rather, a wail, the wings, their bones crushed, were forcibly ripped from Im's spine. Broken shoulder blades and bits of flesh, along with the exposed flesh, emanated a strange, bloody stench.

He lifted his foot, then slammed it down. The sound of his foot shattering against Im's back echoed repeatedly, and in just a few brief moments, it was a bloody mess.

Amidst the flowing blood, Im's body visibly began to swell once more. Clearly, with the ever-increasing pressure, Im's evolution had begun once more.

This time, however, Sett wasn't going to let Im continue evolving—he raised his arm, his muscles taut in the air, one after another. On his scarlet muscles, veins bulged densely, like the roots of an old tree. Blood surged, and a crimson mist rose from Sett's body. He exhaled a breath of scorching air, and his iron fist fell vertically like a hydraulic hammer. With immense force, Im's head was slammed into the ground nearly five meters deep, his entire body ending up upside down, unable to move an inch.

Staggering to his feet, Sett's face was filled with fanatical fighting spirit. Just as Sett had thought, Im himself had evolved super regeneration through constant battles—although this speed could not compare to Sett's, Im quickly awoke from his unconsciousness and then scrambled to his feet on all fours.

Looking around, he saw his arm was broken, and the bones of his thigh were exposed to the air, the pale bone fragments strewn with bits of flesh and congealed blood. Clenching his teeth, and with the energy flowing from the blood coursing through his large veins, Im's body began to writhe. When he had recovered about 80%, Sett stepped forward and, without hesitation, scooped Im up in his arms.

With his shoulders pressed against Im's chest, Sett's arms gripped Im's waist muscles and organs tightly—under Sett's grip, the carapace and flesh on Im's collarbone were either crushed or torn apart. No matter how much Im struggled, all he could feel was excruciating pain.

With a burst of magical power, Sett's massive legs stretched like taut steel pillars. He soared into the air like a rocket—not just a few dozen meters. At the force of his attack, Sett's ankle exploded, spraying a cloud of blood mist; flesh shattered, and even the remaining bones were riddled with cracks.

If the recoil was this strong, one can only imagine the speed and power of Sett's physical body. When he regained his senses, he was already nearly four thousand meters in the air. Low-lying clouds surrounded him, and by the time Im came to his senses, Sett was already charging towards the ground, fueled by his powerful momentum.

Rumble rumble rumble—

The speed increased rapidly, exceeding the speed of sound in less than a few seconds. The intense air friction initially caused little damage, but it quickly left incandescent, white marks on the chitinous carapace. Then, with continued acceleration, even the carapace began to crack and melt.

Like a dazzling star falling, a long, sharp gastritis streaked across the sky. It crashed down relentlessly before everyone's eyes, and upon impact, there was a moment of silence, followed by the entire island collapsing with a deafening roar, the blast penetrating deep into the earth's veins and then the seabed's mudflats. The raging seawater transformed into chaotic waves, instantly altering the terrain. Even the executives of Armstrong City could only hastily evacuate and seek new shelter.

Located at the center, Im felt as if his insides were about to shatter. He opened his eyes and saw Settina already turned to dust by the friction of courage, her scarlet body, stripped of its outer skin, beginning its rapid regeneration.

Then, he raised his arm, looked at himself in front of him, and the ferocity in his eyes transformed into tangible malice and madness.

"Here comes the finishing move!!!"

325 - The Finale

There was no room to dodge; behind him lay a heavy stone wall. More importantly, he was surrounded by seawater, and Im could feel his physical strength draining away at an unimaginable speed.

Flesh and blood burst open one after another, and as power continued to accumulate, the muscles on Sett's arms began to glow with a blazing light. The moment he began to swing, the enormous kinetic energy gained direction, and the violent power was so great that even Sett himself could not control the trajectory of his attack.

At any other time, Im would have been able to seize this opportunity to dodge. But now, it's all in vain—

boom!!!

The force of the iron fist pierced Im's skull, a visible light penetrating his bones and even blasting through the ground beneath him. The entire island was wiped off the surface. The remaining power, undiminished, continued to surge towards the deeper seabed. Countless sea kings were reduced to minced meat in the blast, and then, a colossal cavern thousands of kilometers long emerged from nothing, replacing the original island.

Seawater flooded in, and the intense water pressure shattered Im's already lifeless body.

Located within, feeling the surging seawater all around, Sett contentedly opened his arms and raised his head to welcome the light and water flowing down from above.

Everyone knows that the era of the World Government's rule has ended—a rule that has existed for centuries, hidden in the shadows of the World Government as the unsung king. With Im's death, the fragile alliance of the World Government will soon crumble.

However, this had nothing to do with the people of the West Sea.

Everyone knows that as long as Sett exists, no force in the West Blue will dare to set foot there or provoke him.

In contrast, the Revolutionary Army cadres, located in the distance, merely exchanged glances. While rejoicing at the destruction of the World Government, they were also troubled by the impending chaos—restoring calm to a chaotic sea was clearly a difficult task.

However, compared to taking down the behemoth that is the World Government from scratch, dealing with a chaotic ocean might be much easier.

After all, a sea completely ruled by a powerful force is more oppressive than a chaotic sea filled with ambitious individuals.

The only one who worries Dragon is Sett... If Sett wants to establish a new World Government, probably no one would dare to stand against him. With the destruction of the World Government after five hundred years, it was replaced by the terrifying existence of Sett's Castle, unparalleled throughout the world.

However, Dragon's worries were clearly unnecessary, as Sett had absolutely no interest in matters of governance.

In 1507 of the Sea Calendar, Sett came into this world; in 1508 of the Sea Calendar, Sett left the sea.

In the year 1510 of the Sea Calendar, Sett arrived on the Red Line for the first time, and returned to the West Blue the following month to establish Sett.

In 1514 of the Sea Calendar, the World Government was destroyed.

Even looking back on everything that happened during that time, Robin still felt a strong sense of disbelief.

All told, Sett has been in this world for seven years.

Seven years of growth have brought Sett to the brink of his arrival in this world.

Even after losing all his enemies, Sett's abilities continue to grow under the influence of the World Rune.

In the third year after the destruction of the World Government, in the Sea Calendar year 1517, Robin became pregnant, and Tina became pregnant in the same year. Two years later, in 1519, they had three children. Unlike ordinary children, each of the three children inherited a different rune, with the strongest, the daughter, inheriting the Undying Grip, which allows her to continuously increase her life force in battle.

Although he now has more time to spend with his children, Sett's power hasn't stopped growing. But without enemies, Sett is only getting more and more bored.

Finally, three years later, in the year 1522 of the Sea Calendar, Sett's power reached the limit of this world, and he successfully found the entrance to the Void through the runes, and entered the Void to wage a long-awaited bloody battle.

After a long battle, in 1524, the Void Passage was established, and Sett began his journey through the myriad worlds.

During this process, the power of Armor City did not continue to expand, but gradually shrank according to Robin and Sett's idea, and was eventually confined to Armor City, which had already increased in size five times during the land reclamation process.

Although their territory has shrunk, their power has further expanded. After obtaining proof of their strength, the heroes of the sea will flock to Armor City, and after passing the trials, they will travel to different worlds to adventure and fight.

These heroes considered themselves adventurers, and similarly, because of these adventurers, there were many instances of counter-invasion, but each time they were resolved without bloodshed.

In the very end, Sett's teleportation brought him to the real Valoran, where he met the real Sett—who was then fighting in underground boxing matches in a casino in Ionia.

With his cheat-like abilities, Sett proved that piracy can indeed defeat the legitimate version...

In the same year, Jayce, the councilor of the original Piltover, exclaimed that he was an expert after seeing the Hextech in Sett City, and the long-lost Zaunite Madman Mundo was discovered to have returned.

The following month, Garen, commander of the Demacian Vanguard Legion, severely reprimanded Sett for plagiarism and proposed a joint study of the Hextech-powered mechanical armor equipped by Sett. Sett, taking it all in stride, sent over a blueprint for standard armor from four generations prior.

The following day, Sett became the honorary Duke of Demacia.

Sensing the energy of the runes, Ryze confronted Sett, and after a fierce battle, dozens of mountains were destroyed, and the two parted on bad terms.

However, only Ryze was unhappy—he found Sett to be completely unreasonable, and because he felt pleasure in the battle, Sett began to pursue him, determined to settle the score.

The following year, the Shadow Isles were struck by the Curse of Ruin, and on the very day, Fryegwark was arrested on the steps of the Shadow Isles by Ryze, Kayle, the Freljord demigods, Kindred, and other powerful figures from Runeterra, who had received a hint from Sett. They pinned him to the ground and gave him a thorough beating. This noble king, who would go berserk if he couldn't get a proper burial, was then sent back to the dark room for another round of torture.

The Sentinel of Light lost his job, and the Purifier, who had no income, lived on welfare with Cena. Through hard work, he became the president of a country in Runeterra for several years, and was said to be the country's first black president.

As the title suggests, this book is finished... To be honest, the later plot didn't quite capture my initial enthusiasm. This is because I'm not particularly good at single-world stories; my forte is light ensemble narratives across anime and movies. My next book will be about Shurima, basically a pure wish-fulfillment story where Azir leads the former Ascended and fallen Darkin of the Shurima Empire to become invincible across multiple worlds and restore Shurima's glory.

Book title: The Glory of Shurima
