"You're telling me this guy is a hero? What a joke! Even a pheasant with diarrhea is a hundred times better than that thing! At least a pheasant knows not to let its sphincter bulge out so completely!"

"!!!"

Because of the Sharp Blade Rusty Velvet, Hawkeye hadn't said much about it, even though he agreed with some of Sett's ideas. But now, hearing Sett's words, Hawkeye's hands almost involuntarily drew the blade.

"what happened?"

Seeing Hawkeye's actions, Dragon's face was full of doubt—as the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon was not interested in Kozuki Oden's tragic story or whether it was just sentimentality; he was more curious about what Radluff's prophecy was.

When he saw Hawkeye draw his sword, Dragon felt a little confused—especially those chilling eyes. What did the pheasant with the ravenous pheasant have to do with Hawkeye?

"..."

Hearing Dragon's question, Hawkeye paused slightly as he drew his sword. Finally, taking a deep breath, Hawkeye downed his tea in one gulp, barely managing to suppress Sett's sarcastic remarks… Revenge is a dish best served cold. There will be plenty of opportunities to get back at him later!

Hawkeye simply doesn't believe that Sett's personality will prevent him from having any scandals in the future!

With a smug chuckle, Sett then turned his gaze to Koushirou; "You don't need to think too much about it, I'm going to Wano Country sooner or later. Whether it's Kaido or that damn Kurozumi Orochi, they both sound like they're worth crushing!"

------------

In my personal opinion, Wano Country is the worst arc in One Piece. It's one thing to be moved by Oden's death, given Oda's truly superb paneling. But looking back, both are instances of stolen kingdoms, and the toy soldiers of Dressrosa, from any perspective, completely outclass the character development in the Wano Country arc.

It's really frustrating that I can't change the chapter title because I made a mistake in the previous chapter, and I can't correct it in this chapter.

I went out this morning, so only one chapter.

Let me recommend some manga: *Baki* (unique art style, might discourage newcomers), *Kengan Ashura* (fans of visceral, hard-hitting action won't be disappointed), and *The Strongest Samurai in Japan* (not finished, currently at chapter 6 on the forum).

I'll recommend the others next time.

159·Starting Again

Sett and Hawkeye rested on the island for a while before resuming their journey.

Upon arriving at the port, Sett carried an enormous bundle that was disproportionate to his size.

Sett stuffed everything into the storage room, waved to the dragon beside him, and casually said, "Then we'll be going now. See you again sometime."

"Hmm..." Nodding, and watching Sett prepare to leave, Long pondered for a moment before asking, "Speaking of which, where in the East Blue are you planning to go?"

“Just wandering around,” Sett said; “Let’s see if we can catch that damn redhead. If not, at least we can broaden our horizons. I’d like to see just how weak the weakest sea, the East Blue, really is.”

Upon hearing Sett's words, Hawkeye's face showed a hint of surprise—although it was said to be the weakest sea, they had only just entered the East Blue and had already encountered a swordsman from the New World.

Despite being the weakest sea, it held Hawkeye's greatest expectations. However, Hawkeye also knew that great swordsmen were ultimately rare—a fact evident from the price of their weapons.

As one of the fifty finest swords, the Rusty Velvet sword is priced at only around one million Berries—which might be expensive for ordinary people, but compared to Devil Fruits… even the base price is more than that. Ultimately, sword upgrades only have a significant effect on swordsmen. For ordinary people, there's little difference between a sword and a staff.

Similar to figurines, they command high prices within the circle. Outside the swordsman circle... while valuable, they only have collectible value, lacking practical use.

Even so, it doesn't stop Hawkeye from having expectations.

Koushirou also came to the port. After Sett said those things to the Emperor at the beginning, Koushirou was actually a little annoyed with Sett. But it was just annoyance, not disgust.

After all, having been at sea for so long, even Koushirou himself couldn't quite understand some of the things Goden had done. However, as a retainer, Koushirou was still preparing for revenge twenty years later.

After spending some time together, Koushirou had gained a fairly comprehensive understanding of Sett… brutal, fierce, and arrogant. However, as long as he didn't deliberately provoke him, he didn't feel too uncomfortable… Thinking about it carefully, if it weren't for the Prince, he might have gotten along quite well with Sett, right?

Thinking this, Koushirou's face showed a hint of emotion. Koushirou wasn't the only one who came with Dragon; some of the children from the Isshin Dojo were also there, such as Zoro, Kuina, and... Sanji.

"Just stay here and study properly. You're just a burden!" His face showed undisguised disdain, but Sanji wasn't too upset. On the contrary, his face was full of fighting spirit as he said:

"Just you wait! Mr. Sett! Mr. Hawkeye! I will become the best chef! And then I will set sail and become a bounty hunter who fights for the weak and oppressed!!"

"Tch, the best chef, huh? I just hope he doesn't end up crying and wailing!"

Zoro's face was filled with disdain at Sanji leaving him behind. Without a word, Kuina, standing nearby, raised her bamboo sword and slashed at him. The children, who were originally there to say goodbye and were inherently competitive, immediately started fighting again.

This is also a major reason why Sanji wasn't too heartbroken—he had friends here who were willing to play and talk with him.

Although Sanji experienced unprecedented freedom and happiness in the Germa Kingdom while traveling with Sett and the others, he was still just a child, and he didn't have much in common with either Sett or Mihawk—especially Sett and Mihawk, who barely spoke to each other at all.

The assault boat is only so big, and Sett often jumps into the sea to swim and see if there are any tough sea monsters to use as punching bags.

Hawkeye's training, aside from meditation, consists of continuously and uninterruptedly wielding his sword against the sea.

One or two times like this might not be a problem, but over time, staring at the unchanging, azure sea, it's impossible for Sanji to feel nothing... And now, even though there's an annoying, nauseatingly green-haired guy with a strangely violent woman, Sanji still enjoys it. Children fear loneliness most, and here, he can find his friends.

"Sanji is in your hands now! It's one thing for me to look down on Oden, but a promise is a promise. In less than twenty years, I'll be going to Wano Country!"

Sett waved to Koushirou, then turned and left without a second thought. Koushirou simply nodded silently—though it was only a verbal agreement, through their interactions over this period, Koushirou knew that Sett wouldn't lie. Or perhaps, he was simply too lazy to lie.

If it weren't for the disagreement about the palace, I think I would have had a very pleasant conversation with him.

Thinking this, Koushirou felt a strange sense of regret. At least, from the perspective of Wano Country, Sett's actions were in accordance with his conscience, and he could definitely be considered a hero.

Watching everyone leave, as if remembering something, Long waved his hand again: "Be careful when you go out to sea. My father should be in the East China Sea right now! He's very curious about you!"

"Okay! Got it!!"

He waved casually, but after walking away, Sett couldn't help but touch his chin; "Dragon's father... is that Garp who's known as the Marine Hero?"

"Yes, it's Garp."

Upon hearing Sett's question, Hawkeye nodded: "Marine hero Garp... he's from the East Blue. He personally captured the Pirate King and, together with Admiral Sengoku, arrested Shiki, who wreaked havoc in Marineford. Born in the East Blue, Garp is now the pride of the East Blue."

Upon hearing this, Sett nodded thoughtfully—or rather, he could guess it with a simple association: "A naval hero comes from the East Blue... No wonder the East Blue is considered the weakest sea; I guess all the talented ones go to the navy. But if that's the case, it's more like the most peaceful sea than the weakest.

"more or less."

Upon hearing this, Hawkeye didn't refute anything, but simply nodded and said, "The weather in the East China Sea is more peaceful than in other sea areas, and the arable land is also more abundant. Without the troubles of survival, people are naturally more peaceful... like the Orbit before."

Although the captain of the Orbit is very good at getting things done, neither Sett nor Hawkeye are the kind of guys who are easily bribed.

Hawkeye said, "The navigators on the Orbit are only considered to be of lower-middle caliber in other seas. But even so, they are sufficient in the East China Sea. This is because the East China Sea only experiences torrential rains during a few fixed months, and they rarely occur at other times. Moreover, even when they do occur, there are usually signs in advance."

"You have a good relationship with the Navy, so Garp shouldn't make things difficult for you. Overall, it should be a relatively peaceful journey..."

Before he could finish speaking, Hawkeye saw Sett's face, which was filled with fighting spirit.

After a moment of silence, Hawkeye took a deep breath and shook his head helplessly.

"Okay, I take back what I said earlier."

"You're smart to know what's good for you."

Sett said with a hint of smugness—Hawkeye couldn't understand where Sett's smugness came from at all.

Sett had long admired Garp.

Known as Iron Fist Garp, he's a pure physical powerhouse without the aid of a Devil Fruit ability. He's also in his thirties or forties, a man at the peak of his physical and mental abilities. Knowing he might very well face such a formidable opponent, it's impossible for Sett not to feel an itch to fight.

"Relax, it's not that easy to meet someone like that."

Hawkeye glanced at Sett and said nonchalantly, "The East Sea is vast. We only arrived here because we were in the right ocean current. Besides, Garp is chasing his son, so even if he runs into you, he probably won't care."

The title of Navy Hero is too resounding. Although the Navy's high command knows what kind of person Garp is, in the eyes of the common people or those who don't know Garp, Garp, who can arrest the Pirate King and subdue Shiki, is a symbol of impartiality, power, and ruthlessness.

Even now, Sett thinks so—although Zeff knows what kind of impulsive person Garp is, this is something that absolutely cannot be told to outsiders. After all, he still hopes Sett will join the Navy.

If Garp causes the Navy's overall reputation to decline in Sett's eyes, it would be a real loss.

One could only say that Zephyr's perspective on issues is somewhat unique—or, if Sett were to put it another way, Zephyr would be considered indecisive, even rigid in some ways. Garp's perpetually detached and uninvolved nature is actually a plus for the Navy.

The thought of a Celestial Dragon being harmed and a Marine Admiral having to fawn over him like a dog made Sett feel nauseous—nothing could be more disgusting than this!

After drifting at sea for about five days, the job of loading coal fell to Sett because of Sanji's disappearance.

But today, while they were loading coal, Sett and the others suddenly went dark. Looking up, a strangely shaped, large ship, unlike anything they'd seen in a small place like the East Sea, came into view.

Before Sett could react, a loud laugh echoed from the large ship:

"Hahaha! Sett! I've been looking for you!!!"

Standing atop the figurehead, the red-skinned sea bream fishman, Folsher Tiger, laughed and waved repeatedly at Sett.

Upon seeing Fossil Tiger, Sett was initially taken aback, until finally recognizing his signature afro, he exclaimed, "Oh! You're that red-skinned fishman who ran away a year ago!"

"It's a sea bream fishman!" Tiger wasn't angry when he heard Ste's misunderstanding. Instead, he laughed and jumped off his ship to stand in front of Sett.

"I was almost completely exhausted when I was fleeing for my life, but thankfully you gave me food and helped me escape the slave traders who were chasing me. To repay you, I searched for you for a long time at sea! I didn't hear any news about you until I reached the North Sea!"

As he said this, Tiger punched Sett in the chest with his fist: "How's it going, bro? How's it been lately? You seem to have gotten even stronger!"

"That's only natural."

Seeing that it was an acquaintance, Sett's displeasure vanished completely—what are the four great joys of life? Rain after a long drought, meeting an old friend in a foreign land, the wedding night, and passing the imperial examination.

When Sett was training with Zeff, his encounter with Tiger was accidental, but it was through that opportunity that he learned some underwater combat techniques. For example, the water cannon and the iron water cannon he used before were techniques Sett imitated Tiger's.

Looking at Tiger in front of him, Sett could clearly feel that Tiger's current mental and physical condition was far superior to when they had met before.

Seeing this, he stroked his chin with some surprise and said, "Wow, you've made great progress in just one year!"

“I can’t compare to you.” Hearing Sett’s words, Tiger shook his head and explained, “I’m a fish-man, and I’m naturally stronger than humans without any training. It’s just a pity that I trusted some wicked guys too much and ate some food that made my muscles weak. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have seen me in such a sorry state.”

As he said this, a touch of emotion appeared on Tiger's face.

Queen Otohime's desire for the fish-men to migrate to the land is no secret. However, many on Fish-Man Island oppose this idea. To witness the world above the sea firsthand, Tiger, as the leader of Fish-Man City, decides to go and see for himself…

Influenced by Queen Otohime and having only encountered humans a few times, Tiger chose to trust the slave traders. Unexpectedly, this oversight led to Tiger losing all his strength and becoming a lamb to the slaughter.

This means that Tiger's strength far surpasses that of ordinary mermaids, and the anesthetic was metabolized much faster than normal. Otherwise, even if he wanted to escape, Tiger would have to put in many times more effort.

"Speaking of which, what brings you two, Sett and his brother, to the East Blue?"

Upon hearing this, Sett didn't hide anything and stood at the bow of the ship, revealing all the messy things he and Shanks had done.

As a native of Fishman Island, the crossroads of the New World and the Grand Line, and the leader of Fishman Street, Tiger vaguely remembered the name Shanks. But upon closer thought, he couldn't quite place it. Just as Tiger was pondering this, two figures jumped off the Fishman Pirates' ship.

"You're the one who helped the boss, right? My name is Jinbe! On behalf of the brothers of Fishman Street, thank you!"

The speaker was a whale shark man, whose eyebrows and sideburns gave the impression of a raging storm, and his spiky hairstyle accentuated his imposing appearance. He had a thick, short black beard on his chin, a large build, and two huge, sharp teeth on his lower jaw. His broad and sturdy build gave him a very solid and robust appearance at first glance.

The other merman's gaze held a hint of hostility.
