Conquer the world, young man!

Totsuka nodded to Irisviel and smiled, "Let's relax tonight, it's a rare opportunity."
Irisviel had a very good impression of the boy, and at this moment she tugged at Saber's sleeve, "Let's go."
The group arrived together in the palace courtyard, which was really just an open space among a few flower beds.
“It was originally just Rider who came to see you, Saber. I was just here to join in the fun.” Totsuka sat down cross-legged, Diarmuid stood straight behind him, and Enkidu sat down beside him.
As for Ah tide, she felt that such a gathering seemed meaningless, and after entering the castle, she wandered off somewhere to play.
"I've heard that according to the rules, the Holy Grail is only awarded to those who are worthy of it, and the battle in Fuyuki City is what proved this." The King of Conquerors looked at the group of people sitting together and slowly said, "If it's just for the sake of identification, then there's no need for bloodshed and sacrifice. The mutual recognition among the Heroic Spirits will naturally provide the answer."
The Conqueror King scooped a ladle of wine from the barrel and handed it to Saber, saying, "I've actually encountered another king in this mortal world, and I can't help but want to discuss things with you."
Saber took the wine and drank it all in one gulp, which earned her an approving smile from the Conqueror King. "So you want to confirm with me first, Rider?"
"It's actually a banquet for kings?" Totsuka smirked and accepted the wine offered by the Conqueror King. "Then it seems I'm really not qualified to sit here."
"How could you not be qualified?" The Conqueror King glanced at Enkidu, then at the boy. "Whether it's your ability to be on equal footing with Archer or your personal skills, in my opinion, you are by no means inferior to any king."
“To receive such praise from you, Rider, makes this trip worthwhile.” Totsuka downed his full glass of sake in one gulp and then handed it to Enkidu beside him. “Enkidu is the one who truly governs the country on equal footing with Gil. I’ve only been watching the two of them manage the country.”
"Randy, you really underestimate yourself." Enkidu also scooped up a ladle of wine and drank from the spot where the boy had drunk.
"You and Archer are fine, but it's hard not to care when you see people vying for the title of King and refusing to yield to each other." The King of Conquerors looked at the group and continued, "After all, this Holy Grail War can reveal who is more suitable to be the King of the Holy Grail. We can find the answer by drinking and asking each other over a cup of wine."
"Let's stop joking around." The one who spoke was Gilgamesh, who appeared in the courtyard in a dazzling golden light. He glanced at his two friends, "So you two arranged to meet them here?"
"With these two here, you'll naturally come." The Conqueror King smiled knowingly. "Golden glitter, your speed is a bit slow."
"Golden Gilgamesh?" Totsuka chuckled when he heard the Conqueror King give Gilgamesh such a nickname. "Sure enough, the courtyard was lit up from the moment Gilgamesh appeared."
Enkidu smiled and said, "Gilgamesh, you're here."
Gilgamesh looked at the two of them, frowned with some helplessness, and glanced at the people around him. "It's really impolite of them to choose a place like this for a banquet."
"Don't be so serious, here, have a drink first!" The Conqueror King handed Gilgamesh the scooped-up wine.
Gilgamesh snorted and watched as the group reached out to take the wine. He merely sniffed it briefly before disdainfully saying, "Hmph, you dare to serve such cheap wine to guests?"
"Really?" The Conqueror frowned, somewhat puzzled. "In the market, this is considered top-grade."
Totsuka chuckled and gestured for Gilgamesh to sit down. "It seems Gilgamesh has some treasures. I think Rider wine is quite good."
Enkidu looked at the boy and nodded, "Indeed, not bad."
"Randy, you've learned to appreciate wine now?" Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow slightly, and like Enkidu, sat down next to the boy, taking out a golden wine vessel and cup from his treasury. "As for you, Enkidu, you don't seem to care about anything when you're with Randy."
"Wow!" The Conqueror King's eyes lit up as he looked at the wine, and he poured it directly from the goblet into his glass. "This is truly top-notch."
Gilgamesh smiled and handed the wine cups to Enkidu and the boy, saying, "Try it this time."
“Your treasured collection is naturally excellent.” Enkidu accepted it and exclaimed, “It tastes somewhat like the ones I’ve had before.”
Totsuka held the golden goblet, stunned, and took a sip of wine. He couldn't quite taste it, but he sensed that the goblet itself was incredibly valuable. Suddenly, he felt like he was back in Uruk thousands of years ago. Having someone like Jill around was truly exciting for a poor person…
"Delicious!" King Conqueror exclaimed, and even Saber was somewhat amazed.
Gilgamesh swirled the wine cup in his hand. "Whether it's wine or sword, in my treasury, there are only first-grade items." After taking a sip of wine, he said directly, "In that case, your qualifications as a king are quite clear."
“Archer, your wine is indeed worthy of a fine chalice.” The Conqueror waved his hand. “However, the Holy Grail is not the same as a wine glass. Perhaps you should first tell me what your grand ambition is. I can’t do without asking you this.”
"Don't jump to conclusions, you bastard." Gilgamesh turned to look at the boy beside him, the corners of his mouth curving upwards even more. "The Holy Grail, it is all that I possess. Without exception, the origin of all things in the world can be traced back to my treasury. This time, obtaining the Holy Grail is merely to use my treasure as a betrothal gift to marry Randy."
Totsuka choked on Gilgamesh's words, swallowing a mouthful of wine down his throat. "Cough cough cough, Gilgamesh, what nonsense are you talking about!"
Enkidu reached out and patted Totsuka on the back, then glanced at Gilgamesh with some disapproval. "My friend, isn't it a bit too rude to say such things in this kind of setting?"
The Conqueror King spat out a mouthful of wine, then burst into laughter, "Haha, the Holy Grail is a betrothal gift? Archer, are you sure you're not joking?"
Saber glanced at the boy and saw that Lancer behind him had clenched his fists, so she quickly said, "It seems that you, Archer, acted entirely on your own."
"Bastards, do you need to interfere in my affairs?" Gilgamesh was naturally enraged by the words of the King of Conquerors and Saber. When he saw that Enkidu also disagreed, he asked in confusion, "My friend, do you think this dowry is too light? As long as it is a treasure in my treasury, Randy doesn't need it."
"Even if the Holy Grail is needed, you don't need to come and offer a betrothal gift." Totsuka caught her breath and rolled her eyes. "You're really getting more and more self-absorbed."
“It seems Caster isn’t the only mentally unstable Servant.” Saber’s lips twitched slightly at the thought of Caster calling her Joan of Arc.
Shishu nodded, agreeing with Saber's comment.
“Any thief who dares to set their sights on my treasure will be punished,” Gilgamesh scoffed. “This is the law I, as king, have established.”
"If that's the case, then we'll have no choice but to fight." The King of Conquerors naturally felt that he couldn't reach an agreement with Archer, and given his mindset, he was determined to obtain the Holy Grail. However, thinking about it, it made sense; wanting to use it as a betrothal gift to marry his longtime sweetheart was only natural. But judging from the young man's expression, he didn't seem willing.
"Conqueror King, what do you want from the Holy Grail this time?" Saber directly shifted the topic to Rider, since he might not act as recklessly as Archer.
The Conqueror King filled his glass and drank it all in one gulp, a slight blush rising to his face. After a moment's thought, he slowly said, "It's the flesh."
"Cough cough." Totsuka choked on his drink again, which made Enki shake his head. "How could you be so careless?"
Weber, who was watching from the sidelines, said, "He was even more surprised than I was."
Weber was indeed dumbfounded, and he ran straight to the group, grabbed Rider's arm, and asked, "Huh? Wasn't your wish to conquer the world?"
"Cough cough cough." Totsuka coughed until his face turned red. He didn't expect that the Conqueror King's wish was the same as the main quest that the great Tom Sue god had asked him to do, but it seemed to be completely different from his own!
With a gentle wave of his hand, the King of Conquerors sent Waver flying backward. "Idiot, even though we manifested through magic, we are still just Servants."
The Conqueror King gazed at his palm and slowly said, "I wish to be reborn into this world, to take root here as a life. To possess a body, to face heaven and earth, and to begin from here, to accomplish the great feat of conquering the world... This is my path to becoming a hegemon."
Shizuku calmed his breathing and listened quietly to the Conqueror King's discourse. Undeniably, Rider was the true Conqueror King. The system should really hear this too; those missions it issued had absolutely nothing to do with conquering the world.
[Host, this system is listening, but Rider's method is different from yours; his method is truly a last resort.]
Do you really think that by following the tasks you've issued, we can achieve the goal of conquering the world?
[The strategy provided by the genius Tom Sue is the best possible one; you just need to focus on completing it.]
"That's utter nonsense," Totsuka thought, ending her mental conversation with the system. When she looked up, she heard Saber's insights on her ideal path.
"My wish is to save my homeland, obtain the omnipotent wish-granting machine, and change the fate of Britain's destruction." Saber's earnest statement of her wish made Totsuka shake his head.
Enkidu, standing to the side, was pondering Rider's words. Obtaining a physical form and manifesting in the world was something he had never considered before. But now that Randy was here, if they could stay, obtaining the Holy Grail and making a wish wouldn't be a bad idea.
Diarmuid listened quietly to their words, his head bowed. Regardless, he longed to personally offer the Holy Grail to the boy, but now, a desire he shouldn't have harbored arose within him…
"What you mean by overturning fate is changing history?" the Conqueror asked Saber.
"Even miracles or impossible wishes can be fulfilled if the Holy Grail is truly omnipotent!" Saber, who firmly believed in her ideals, answered without hesitation.
This made Gilgamesh laugh out loud with a mocking tone.
“Saber, even I have to say something.” Totsuka put down her wine glass, sat up straight, and spoke, “To deny the history you created and want to rely on wishing for a chance to start over, isn’t that the same as denying your original life? Then, would you, sitting here, still exist?”
The King of Conquerors nodded in agreement. "Saber, I never expected you to have this idea..."
"Why question? Why laugh!" Saber looked at them with some annoyance, and continued firmly, "The homeland that offered up its sword and risked its life has been destroyed. What's so funny about feeling heartbroken about that?"
"This little girl who calls herself the King of Knights has actually given her life for her country!" Gilgamesh laughed loudly, as if he had heard the funniest thing ever.
Totsuka reached out and tugged at Gilgamesh. "Even if her ideas are flawed, they are her ideals, and it's wrong to mock them."
Gilgamesh gradually suppressed his smile and took the boy's hand in his palm. "It's just that this little girl's remarks are indeed too funny."
"It is the nation and its subjects who need to give their lives to the king," the Conqueror King stated directly, "You are saying the exact opposite."
Totsuka tried to pull his hand away, but found that Gil was holding it quite tightly, so he had to hold back and continue listening to the group's discussion.
"Isn't that how a tyrant rules the world?" Saber couldn't understand it at all.
The King of Conquerors closed his eyes and slowly said, "It is precisely because we are tyrants that we are heroes. But Saber, a king who regrets the consequences of his rule is nothing but a tyrant!"
The Conqueror King opened his eyes, paused, and said, "That's even worse than a tyrant!"
Totsuka's approach to the path of the conqueror king is easier to understand. Compared to Saber's overly idealistic desires, her noble character is evident, though he would never agree with it. For a king, it is about being supported and sacrificed by his subjects. What the king must do is lead his subjects, which is far more important than sacrifice.
"Don't you feel any remorse for the divided nation you ruled?" Saber couldn't agree with the Conqueror King's ideas at all. Since her death, she had been heartbroken by the destruction of Britain and couldn't accept it.
"No," the Conqueror King said in a deep voice, "My decision, the fate of my subjects, and the result of their own lives, make destruction inevitable. I will feel pain and shed tears, but I will never regret it, much less try to overthrow it! Such an act would be an insult to everyone who helped me create that era!"
Even Totsuka couldn't help but respect a king with such magnanimity. In contrast, Saber was determined to protect the powerless and, through proper rule and governance, wanted to create an ideal kingdom for all her subjects.
"A king who sacrifices himself for his ideals?" Totsuka sighed softly. "Have you ever considered the thoughts of those who follow you, letting them watch you become a martyr and an unapproachable, noble king? Such an approach is probably not suitable for a king who can shoulder the responsibility of a country. A noble knight is a better description of you..."
Author's Note: The Feast of the Three Kings in Fate was truly amazing, and the Conqueror King's demeanor was so powerful. It's almost impossible to change anything about the Conqueror King in this chapter...
Thanks to [Erzi Bi], [Anzhi Tinglan], and [Yangguang Miaomiao] for the amazing content! Let's all cheer each other on!
Chapter 90087 King and Servant
The King of Conquerors' tone was tinged with a sigh, "King who takes chivalry as his honor, your advocacy of justice and ideals may be able to save the country and the people for a time, but..." The King of Conquerors gazed at Saber and slowly said, "You do not know what the ultimate fate of those who are always being saved will be."
Saber listened to these remarks with a pale face, her once firm gaze wavering. "What did you say?"
Totsuka lowered her head, feeling somewhat reluctant. The words of the King of Conquerors had probably overturned Saber's long-held beliefs. There was probably no one who had ever said such a thing to this king before.
Enkidu shook his head and sighed, "She's just an immature little girl after all."
"He only offered salvation without guiding them, abandoning his lost subjects with an air of righteous indignation," the Conqueror King said gravely, "anxious only for his own petty, beautiful ideals..."
As the King of Conquerors spoke, Saber was almost speechless. "So you are not a competent king." This was the King of Conquerors' final conclusion about Saber.
Just as the banquet fell silent, another guest arrived... or perhaps an enemy.
Webber stumbled to the Conqueror's side. Where he had just been, an Assassin had appeared, and the number of Assassins was increasing one by one.
Diarmuid, holding two pistols, stood guard behind the boy as soon as Assassin appeared.
Looking at the completely enclosed courtyard, Totsuka sighed, "I didn't expect the Assassins to be like this. Are they trying to win by sheer numbers?"
“In the face of absolute power, numbers are nothing but empty shells.” Enkidu didn’t seem to care much about this. Instead, he poured another glass of wine and handed it to Totsuka. “It’s a rare occasion to have a banquet like this. You don’t need to worry about anything else.”
Totsuka nodded, and after glaring at Gilgamesh, finally pulled his hand away from hers, which had been gripping him until it was burning. He picked up his wine glass and said, "With you all here, I naturally have nothing to worry about."
Gilgamesh's mood immediately brightened upon hearing the boy's words, but his dissatisfaction with his Master grew stronger. "That Tokiomi guy, he actually resorted to such dirty tricks..."
"This is complete chaos! Why are there so many Assassins?!" Waver leaned against the Conqueror's back, looking somewhat anxious about the situation.
"We are separated, both as a group and as individuals." This was the first time Totsuka had heard the Assassins speak. Wearing masks, they comprised so many individuals; their numbers were truly enormous.
“Rider…” Waver looked at the King of Conquerors. Was there really no problem with this kind of physicalized Heroic Spirit with multiple personalities split off?
The Conqueror King glanced at his Master and chuckled helplessly, "Hey, don't be so pathetic. Serving guests at a banquet is also a measure of a king's qualifications."
"You want to entertain that kind of thing too? Conqueror King?" Gilgamesh finally stopped calling Rider a bastard and wanted to see what Rider was planning to do.
"It doesn't seem like Assassin is here as a guest." Totsuka took another sip of his drink, and only now was he slowly tasting its flavor. It was indeed quite good.
At that moment, the Conqueror King scooped up a ladle of wine and called out to the Assassins in the courtyard, "Those who wish to join the discussion, accept this cup! This wine is in your blood!"
