Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

Vivian's smile is very standard.

She perfectly showed off ten teeth, and the two dimples on her face perfectly complemented her gentle smile.

As she spoke, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing the charm of a mature woman.

"As expected of a host accustomed to the big stage, his every move was poised and graceful."

As a woman herself, Huizi felt inferior and had to admire Vivian's captivating feminine charm.

"I apologize to you both. I just went for a morning run and I'm still covered in sweat. Please forgive me." Hao Yan put his hands together in apology and invited the two guests to sit down.

"Director Haoyan, you're too kind. It's us who came uninvited and disrupted your plans," Mayor Wuhe said with a smile. "Director Haoyan, do you know..."

"Your daily morning runs have sparked an exercise craze!"

"The citizens of Kaina City have all been influenced by you and have taken to the streets to exercise!"

"Sports apparel stores in Kayana City saw a 339% increase in sales in just one week."

Upon hearing Mayor Wuhe's words, Vivian smiled and replied, "Mayor Wuhe, although I don't know much about economics, I guess the best-selling sportswear is probably women's clothing, right?"

Mayor Wu paused for a moment, then replied with some surprise, "That's right, Miss Vivian is absolutely correct!"

"This data has never been made public by our city hall. How did you find out?"

Vivian covered her mouth with her hand and laughed, replying, "Director Haoyan is so young and handsome, and so famous in Kaina City."

"There must be many girls who want to 'coincidentally' bump into Director Haoyan during their morning run."

Upon hearing this, Mayor Wuhe suddenly realized what was going on.

After a few pleasantries, the three of them got down to business in a relaxed atmosphere.

"Director Haoyan, there's something I'd like to ask for your help with this time."

... ...

Chapter 364 A Month Later, the Showdown with Mikoli

"Director Haoyan, as you know, those two ancient Pokémon have had a great impact on Slateport City."

"Although the water has been cleared, I have also issued some preferential policies accordingly."

"But it has little effect on the economic recovery of Kaina City."

"In order to promote the economic development of Kaina City, we have submitted an application to the Alliance to try to make Kaina City the host city for the Grand Festival."

"In order to help our city of Kaina recover its economy quickly, the alliance has agreed to our idea."

Mayor Wuhe continued, "Therefore, this time, we would like to invite Director Haoyan to serve as a guest at this celebration."

"It would be great if we could showcase some of the Pokémon's spectacular moves at the festival."

As is well known, the Hoenn region places the most importance on Contests.

This may be influenced by the current champion, Mikoli.

A grand celebration, unlike any ordinary grand competition.

The scale of the celebration is higher than that of ordinary competitions.

A typical Grand Contest can be likened to a gym challenge.

The festival is equivalent to the Hoenn region's Rainbow Festival.

The venue for the event each year is selected from various cities.

Furthermore, the grand scale of the Hoenn region's festival will attract considerable attention from other regions.

It is foreseeable that the grand celebration in Kaina will attract a large number of tourists from all over the country.

This will boost the economic growth of the city of Kaina.

With Haoyan's current reputation, he can be said to be the most watched person in the entire Pokémon world.

It would be even more interesting if he could attend.

This is also why Mayor Wu and Vivian came to find Haoyan together.

Haoyan nodded and said, "No problem, he's just a guest, it's nothing."

How do you need my cooperation?

The funding for the Kaina Dojo is collected according to the Kaina City tax revenue.

The more developed the economy of Kaina City, the more money Haoyan has to spend each year.

It's not much trouble to just attend; if it can help the economic development of Kaina City, then that's good too.

"Director Haoyan, this time we want to make the grand celebration even more spectacular."

Mayor Wuhe, looking somewhat nervous, said, "So, besides asking you to attend, we would also like you to give a performance."

"A performance?" Haoyan asked, somewhat curious.

At this moment, Vivian interjected, "That's right. In addition to inviting you, we have also invited the current champion, Mr. Michael."

"We hope that Director Haoyan and Champion Mikeli will..."

"As a guest, let's put on a spectacular exhibition match."

"I believe in a magnificent performance from you and Mr. Mikkelsen!"

"The number of tourists attending the celebration will definitely break records!" Mayor Wuhe continued.

"A spectacular exhibition match with Michael?" Mayor Wu's idea is indeed quite good.

It's common knowledge that Mikkelsen is a fervent participant in the Grand Contest.

Normally, my favorite thing to do is to study how to make Pokémon make flashy moves.

In some places, even grand competitions are named after Mikoli.

A show match between Haoyan and Mikeli would certainly attract a lot of attention and be a good gimmick.

Seeing Haoyan deep in thought, Mayor Wuhe couldn't help but feel a little nervous, and his palms started to sweat.

Although Haoyan is the Gym Leader of Slateport City.

However, jurisdiction does not lie with the city hall of Kayana.

The only thing that can somewhat restrain him is the alliance.

However, Mikuri, the champion of the Hoenn region, always listened to Haoyan's advice.

Want to command Haoyan?

That's absolutely impossible!

If Haoyan is unwilling, there's nothing they can do.

... ...

After a moment's thought, Hao Yan said, "Mayor Wu's suggestion is excellent, I have no problem with it."

"However, you might have to put in some effort with Mikoli."

Mayor Wu was overjoyed to hear this, as he was pleased to have Hao Yan attend.

This ensures the grandeur and excitement of the celebration.

The economy of Kaina City will take off again!

"Mr. Mikkelsen has already agreed!"

"He said it was an honor to have an exhibition match with Director Haoyan," Vivian chimed in from the side.

Mayor Wu said happily, "The grand celebration will begin in a month!"

"Okay, just let Keiko, the manager of the dojo, know what the specific arrangements are."

"I will do my best to cooperate with you." Haoyan smiled and pointed to Huizi sitting next to him.

"Okay, okay!" Mayor Wu nodded hurriedly, "Thank you so much!"

After chatting for a few more minutes, Haoyan arranged for Huizi to see the two of them off.

... ...

The Kaina City Hall worked very quickly; in just two days, the entire city of Kaina was covered with posters.

In coordination with the television station and the Kaina newspaper, the atmosphere of the lavish celebration was quickly created.

The entire Pokémon world knows that Slateport City will be holding a grand celebration in a month.

And at that time, the Hero Gym Leader Hiroyuki will also have a spectacular exhibition match with the Hoenn Champion, Wallace.

For a time, the lavish celebration in Kaina City became the center of everyone's discussion.

Thanks to Haoyan's endorsement, tickets for the grand event sold out in just three seconds.

A ticket to a lavish celebration was being resold by scalpers for twenty times its original price!

Many people are looking forward to the showdown between Haoyan and Mikoli.

Although, it was just an exhibition match.

... ...

Chapter 365 It's time for Xiaomeng to super evolve.

Inside the Kaina Dojo.

There is still one month until the grand ceremony.

Although his opponent was the current champion, Mikeli, it was just an exhibition match, so Haoyan didn't take it too seriously.

At this rare moment, Hao Yan accepted a challenge from a trainer.

The commander borrowed Senburou from a dojo trainee named Keita.

He is fighting a challenger named Takumi.

"Hanburou, use the triple kick attack on Swampert."
