Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

When challenging the Green Moss Gym, Maple and Nan used Psychic-type Pokémon to battle her, and they also used Psychic.

However, its power is significantly less than that used by the Nine-Tails.

It's understandable that Blaziken was instantly defeated.

... ...

"Mimi~"

Nine-Tails was somewhat disappointed that it had defeated Blaziken in one move.

I fought so seriously, thinking it would be a big battle, but I didn't expect my opponent to be so useless, and I was defeated in an instant.

This is a bit boring.

It's not surprising that the Nine-Tailed Fox has such thoughts.

After all, she usually trains with Charizard and Tyranitar.

Charizard and Tyranitar are not Hao Yan's strongest Pokémon.

But at least they have the potential to be near-champion.

Especially Tyranitar, which is a tank with outstanding defensive capabilities, so it is naturally more durable.

"Mimi~" The little nine-tailed fox made a somewhat dissatisfied sound at Safia.

Tell her to release the second Pokémon quickly.

... ...

Safia had no choice but to silently recall Blaziken, and after thinking for a moment, she released her second Pokémon.

Come and fight Haoyan's little nine-tailed fox.

"Donjia, I'm counting on you!"

Pokémon: Donphan

[Attribute]: Ground

[Level]: 44

[Ability]: Sand Cloak (In sandstorm weather, Pokémon with this ability have an increased chance of dodging.)

[Description]: Its teeth are sharp and hard, and it also has tough skin, so its impact can destroy even a house.

... ...

Seeing that its opponent was a cumbersome Donphan, Little Nine-Tailed Fox felt a little bored.

Without Hao Yan's command, its originally golden fur instantly changed back to its original snow-white color, with a hint of purple.

Its form has also changed to a combination of ice and fairy types.

Sensing the Nine-Tails' aggressive intent, Hao Yan was also interested in seeing just how strong the Nine-Tails was.

He gave the order: "Xiao Jiu, blizzard."

"Mimi~"

Little Nine-Tailed Fox shouted, and the water vapor in the air quickly condensed into ice.

With a flick of its beautiful tail, it swiftly mobilized the icy air in the air, creating a constantly swirling, frozen wind.

In an instant, the Dun armor was encased within.

Ice-type is extremely effective against Ground-type!

Using ice-type skills, the little nine-tailed fox naturally caught it easily.

Dongard had barely appeared on the field, and before he could even make a move, he was frozen solid and instantly killed.

“… …”

Safia was completely stunned!

Her original plan was to use Donphan's Ground-type to counter Ninetales' Fire-type.

Unexpectedly, Hao Yan's Nine-Tailed Fox transformed back into an Ice Nine-Tailed Fox from a Fire Nine-Tailed Fox, instantly killing her Dunbar in one strike.

How is this still playing?

... ...

A distraught Safia finally sent out Bosscodora.

When facing Aggron, Haoyan's Nine-Tails changed from Ice Nine-Tails to Fire Nine-Tails.

With a single flame-breathing attack, Safia's Aggron was defeated once again.

There is absolutely no room for negotiation.

... ...

Chapter 371 The Magnificent Celebration Begins

"Safia challenged Selena Gym Leader Hiroyuki, but lost on the third round."

"Challenger Safia has failed in this challenge."

As soon as Safia's Boscodora fell to the ground, the referee waved his flag and announced the result of the match.

"Mimi~"

After defeating Aggron, Sapphire's last Pokémon, Ninetales hopped lightly to Hao Yan's side and swayed its long tail.

Then she ran to the side and played with Gardevoir, who had been watching her battle.

While the Nine-Tails was battling, Gardevoir stood by and watched.

The little Nine-Tails kept meowing at Gardevoir, waving its beautiful tail at Gardevoir.

It seems to be saying, "I'm really amazing!"

Gardevoir also affectionately bent down and rubbed the little Nine-Tails' cute little head.

"Sanagi~Sanagi~" she praised the little nine-tailed fox.

Haoyan has always spoiled the pampered little princess, Jiuwei.

Naturally, Gardevoir also dotes on Nine-Tails.

... ...

Haoyan turned his gaze back to Shafiya, who looked somewhat lost and dejected.

Although Safia lost all three of her matches.

And they lost badly.

The Pokémon was instantly defeated the moment it appeared.

However, it is undeniable that her Pokémon are already at the Gym Leader level, far exceeding the level of an ordinary trainer.

With such strength, one is fully qualified to receive a badge.

Her only opponent was Haoyan.

Haoyan took out a badge and handed it to Shafiya, saying, "Shafiya, don't be discouraged."

“You have proven your potential to me, so you are entitled to the Kaina Badge.”

Safia's feelings were complicated; she had lost the match badly.

However, you can obtain a badge.

For a moment, I didn't know whether to be happy or disappointed.

Safia accepted the badge from Haoyan with both hands.

"It seems like Brother Haoyan has never lost!"

"Losing to him is normal and perfectly reasonable."

"I have a feeling that if Brother Haoyan were to use his full strength, even Mikeli would probably be no match for him."

Thinking this way, Safia became happy.

... ...

After chatting for a while, Safia asked curiously, "By the way, Brother Haoyan, are you ready for the grand exhibition match in a couple of days?"

"Just let Gardevoir go then."

Hao Yan didn't pay much attention to the lavish celebration.

During my time back, I stayed by Mewtwo's side, helping him practice Mega Evolution.

He's not good at matches that are more for show than for real competition, and since it's an exhibition match, he's even less likely to pay attention to it.

At the time, agreeing to Mayor Wu's request was merely to create a buzz.

Safia tilted her head and thought for a moment before asking, "Brother Haoyan, what kind of performance have you and Gardevoir prepared?"

"A performance?"

Hao Yan hadn't expected this problem at all, just like the Grand Contest he participated in in Autumn Leaf Town before.

Just let Gardevoir show its face, and then repeat the move it used before.

Seeing Hao Yan's expression, Safia knew what he was thinking and raised a slight objection: "Brother Hao Yan, this is not an ordinary Grand Contest!"

"The most anticipated and lavish celebration!"

"It is the most sacred and important festival in the hearts of all coordination trainers!"

"You are the Gym Leader of Slateport City, representing Slateport City, and you are also a special guest of this celebration. You can't be so casual."

"Everyone has already seen your and Gardevoir's performance before this, so their expectations will definitely be higher."

"Gardedor is indeed very beautiful and elegant."

"But audiences will get tired of repeating the same performance."

"So I suggest you do something different, so that the audience can have a sense of novelty."
