Chapter 486 Fire vs. Ice

"Next, let's give a warm round of applause to our third Heavenly King."

"Miss Bonnie, who specializes in ice magic and is known as the Ice Queen!"

Vivian's passionate introduction was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Although Bonney is not a native of the Hoenn region, she is extremely popular there.

Bonnie doesn't look like the locals; she has naturally blond hair, bright eyes, and white teeth.

A high nose bridge and fair skin.

It has an exotic feel.

In particular, her long blue-black dress and white gloves exuded an air of nobility.

She seemed to be a marquis from the Carlos region.

With her mature and sophisticated style, she is popular among young trainers in the Hoenn region.

“Master Haoyan, it’s a pleasure to fight against you…” Bonnie stepped forward and extended her hand.

Although she is known as the Snow Queen, Bonnie is not aloof at all; instead, she has the feel of a friendly older sister next door.

"It is my honor to fight against Bonnie, the Heavenly King..." Haoyan extended his hand and politely shook hands with her.

After exchanging pleasantries with Bonnie, Haoyan stood alone in a corner of the battlefield.

... ...

"The ice surface that Xiao Jiu created earlier will continue to be used."

"If there are no surprises, Bonney should start with Blizzard King."

"It will allow Blizzard to continue to improve the surrounding environment."

Haoyan tried to guess Bonnie's tactics.

Ice type, this attribute is very special.

Ice-type attacks are super effective against Ground, Grass, Bug, Flying, and Dragon types, and deal double damage to all types except Fire, Water, and Ice.

From a purely offensive standpoint, it's quite good.

However, the Ice type also has a fatal flaw, which is that it is only effective against the Fighting, Steel, Rock, and Fire types.

Aside from the Ice type itself, all other types can deal double the damage to Ice types.

In short, it has a good coverage area, but it doesn't have much resistance.

However, Bonnie, who specializes in Ice-type, is different from Hanazuki, who specializes in Dark-type, and Hibiscus, who specializes in Ghost-type.

Neither Dark nor Ghost type moves have a terrain advantage.

However, Ice-type Pokémon can receive a significant boost in hail-filled environments.

"Although Xiao Ou is effective against ice-type attacks, it doesn't perform well in this kind of terrain."

"And we should also let Xiao Ou rest so that she can unleash her full potential when she faces Mikoli later..."

Haoyan pulled out a Poké Ball and signaled to the referee that it was time to start.

"Master Haoyan, the match against Bonnie the Queen has officially begun!" The referee waved his flag.

... ...

"Come forth, Blizzard King!"

As Hao Yan had predicted, Bonnie summoned the Snow King at the start of the battle.

"Super Evolution, Abomasnow King!"

Pokémon: Abomasnow (Mega Evolution)

[Attribute]: Grass, Ice

[Level]: 87 (Early Champion)

[Ability]: Snowfall (When this Pokémon appears, the weather changes to hail and lasts for a period of time.)

[Description]: A Pokémon that can cause blizzards. Whenever it shakes its massive body, the surroundings instantly turn white.

... ...

"Roar! Roar!"

The super-evolved Blizzard King roared at the sky.

During the battle, the temperature dropped significantly.

Hailstones continued to fall from the sky.

"Come out, little dragon!" Haoyan released the fire-breathing dragon.

"Roar! Roar!"

Charizard roars every time it appears, displaying its wildness and domineering nature.

As soon as Bonnie saw Hao Yan release his Pokémon, she immediately shouted, "Abomasnow, use Hail!"

"Roar! Roar!"

The Blizzard King roared continuously, unleashing his ice energy.

The entire battlefield was filled with swirling hailstones.

Originally, the Snow King's characteristic was snowfall.

Use the hailstones again to rapidly enlarge the hailstones that were originally only the size of a fist.

The weather team's mission is to change the weather to their advantage.

Amidst the blanket of white snow, Haoyan said softly, "Little Dragon, Super Evolve into Y Form."

"Roar~ Roar~"

Charizard dislikes this kind of weather where it snows and the temperature drops significantly.

Upon hearing Haoyan's words, it exhaled two puffs of hot air from its nose and began to change.

Scorching black flames erupted from his body.

The heat radiated outwards.

Charizard's Super Y form has the ability Solar Beam.

At this moment, Charizard was like a sun.

However, this sun is black!

As Charizard unleashed its solar ability, the hailstones flying around it quickly shrank.

Some of the hailstones were even quite close.

It was directly melted by the heat of the Charizard and turned into water.

It turned into rain and fell.

What was originally a frozen surface has been transformed into a large pool of water.

Only around the Blizzard King were a few hailstones still flying.

Bonnie never expected that the Snow King's snowfall properties, combined with the use of hail, would create such a dramatic change in the weather.

Charizard's Mega Evolution completely undermined the favorable environment that Absolute had painstakingly created.

"Xiao Long, use the Super Extreme Blazing Bullet."

... ...

Chapter 487 Watching the match and taking a sauna along the way.

"Roar! Roar!"

The Charizard let out a deafening roar, its surging energy ravaging everything around it.

A black fireball condensed in front of him.

The intense heat seemed to burn away all the moisture in the air.

"Roar! Roar!"

Charizard hurled its attack at Abomasnow, which was floating on the water's surface.

Bonnie never expected that Haoyan would use his ultimate move right from the start.

But now, she had no time to think.

Blizzard King is a Grass and Ice elemental, and is four times weak to Fire.

Once hit, there's no need to think twice; the person will immediately collapse and never get up again.

Bonnie could only shout from the sidelines, "Blizzard King, use Protect!"

Faced with the massive fireball that was spewing towards him, a white protective shield formed around the Blizzard King.

They stood in front of him.

But Charizard uses the Super Ultimate Blaze Bomb!

Even if you use Guard, it will still deal a quarter of the damage.

boom!

A huge explosion was heard on the battlefield.

The entire battlefield seemed to have been blown apart!

However, there were only flying pebbles.

But there was no splashing water.
