Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

"bring it on…"

Hao Yan slightly raised his hand, signaling the start of the battle.

"Yes!"

Alice quickly took a Poké Ball from her waist and threw it into the air.

After the red light faded, a Haxorus appeared in the open space.

"Roar! Roar!"

Alice's double-axe war dragon is full of fighting spirit!

Pokémon: Haxorusaur

[Rank]: Peak Heavenly King

[Ability]: Fighting Spirit (The power of moves is increased when the target is a Pokémon of the same gender.)

Chapter 605 Unable to Shake Off the Clingy Alice

The Haxorus possesses considerable destructive power, impressive speed, and excellent defense and endurance.

In the Unova region, they have always been referred to as pseudo-gods.

It's a bit of a shame that Haxorus doesn't have the ability to fly.

Its offensive capabilities are somewhat limited due to its focus on physical attacks.

Overall, it's still pretty good.

"Come out, little dragon..." Hao Yan also chose to release his Pokémon, Charizard.

Since Charizard reached the early stage of legendary Pokémon in Charizard Valley, its personality has become calmer.

Unlike before, he no longer roars loudly as soon as he appears.

But the red and black Charizard, simply standing calmly on the ground, exuded an extremely terrifying aura!

This caused Alice's double-axe dragon to unconsciously take a step back.

Observing the unusual behavior of the Haxorus, Alice cheered loudly.

"Double Haxorus!"

"do not be afraid!"

"The opponent is indeed very strong!"

"It is precisely because our opponent is strong that we must take on the challenge!"

"A chance to battle Gym Leader Hiroyuki's Charizard is a rare one!"

Let's cheer each other on!

Alice cheered loudly, quickly boosting the power of the Double-Axe Dragon.

A faint blue light emanated from the Haxorus's body, making the blades on its head even sharper.

"That's right, even under the suppression of Xiaolong's absolute strength, it can still activate its own characteristics."

"Alice has her own methods..."

"No wonder Alice was able to take over Alder's position and become the champion of the Unova region..." Hao Yan had a high opinion of Alice.

... ...

"Double-Haxed Dragon, Double Slash!"

Alice quickly gave the order, and Haxorus immediately swung its claws, which were filled with dragon-type energy, and used running to increase its speed as it attacked Charizard.

"Little Dragon, Dragon Claw..."

Haoyan gave the order.

"Roar!"

The black and red Charizard stood still, calmly extending its claws to form a massive dragon claw in response to the attack.

... ...

After several rounds.

Bang!

Alice's double-axe dragon was knocked back more than ten meters by a single dragon claw attack from the fire-breathing dragon.

"So strong!"

Alice clenched her fists tightly because she was nervous!

"Master Haoyan's fire-breathing dragon hasn't moved an inch!"

"All their moves rely on sheer brute force to suppress!"

"No matter how hard I try, I can't find a single flaw!"

"This is the Gym Leader Hirogen, who defeated Daigo and Michael, and was hailed as the number one player in the League by Cynthia!"

"I want to cherish this hard-won opportunity to fight!"

Alice's admiration for the powerful Hao Yan grew even stronger.

"Haxodon, use Earthquake!" Alice shouted sweetly.

"Roar!"

The Haxorus slammed its foot into the ground, creating several cracks, and swiftly attacked the Charizard.

Faced with the overwhelming force of the earthquake, it is able to restrain the fire element.

Haoyan didn't intend to make Charizard take off to avoid it; he simply spoke calmly.

"Little Dragon, Air Slash..."

A red and black fire-breathing dragon, flapping its wings.

A violent airflow was immediately stirred up, and a powerful tornado rose from the ground.

Tornadoes can even turn the wind into sharp blades.

The ground cracked, and the powerful destructive force quickly filled in the fissures caused by the earthquake.

And the tornado's momentum didn't diminish, directly flipping the double-axe war dragon off its side.

bang~

The Haxorus fell to the ground once again, its body bearing numerous marks left by wind blades.

The vast difference in social standing between the two sides cannot be bridged by a moment of impetuousness.

"Double Haxorus!"

Alice quickly ran to Haxorus's side and helped the Haxorus, which was struggling to get up.

"roar~"

The two-axe dragon looked at its master, Alice, with shame in its eyes; it was too weak to fight any longer.

"Haxorus, you've done very well..."

"You're really amazing to be so resilient against Director Haoyan's Charizard!"

I'm so proud of you!

Don't be discouraged...

"As long as we work together, one day we will definitely be able to reach the same level as Curator Haoyan!" Alice gently comforted the Double-Axe Dragon.

"roar~"

The two-handed haxorus nodded seriously.

... ...

Alice used her Poké Ball to recall Haxorus, then bowed to Hao Yan and said, "Gym Leader Hao Yan, thank you for showing mercy..."

Thank you for your guidance...

Alice's thanks came from the bottom of her heart.

What happened just now was less of a battle and more of a teaching session by Haoyan.

Her Haxorus appeared to be seriously injured, but in fact, thanks to Haoyan's command, the Charizard avoided vital points.

If you go to the Pokémon Center and have Nurse Joy recover, she'll be perfectly fine again.

"You're too kind..."

"Curator Alice is also very impressive..."

"At such a young age, he already possesses such strong fighting spirit..." Hao Yan waved his hand casually.

Alice is considered a rare combat genius among her peers.

The command just now was quite impressive in many aspects.

He's just a genius compared to a prodigy like Haoyan.

That's what makes it seem mediocre...

... ...

After the battle ended, Hao Yan recalled his Charizard and said, "Guardian Alice, now that the battle is over, shall we part ways here?"

Haoyan just wants to travel alone in peace and quiet.

Hearing Haoyan's intention to leave.

Alice immediately blinked her big eyes, looking pitiful.
