Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

"Let's give it a try!"

Tensions are running high between Alice and Gua Shilang!

Two teenagers who were classmates when they were young, and who attended the same school where Adek was a teacher.

One is a genius girl from the land of dragons.

One of them is the grandson of the regional champion.

Both of them were naturally proud and arrogant.

In Pokémon battles, they often clash and neither side gives an inch.

"Guan Shilang, I heard you lost to Kiku-chan in the Super Match against the Subway last time~"

"I wonder if you've improved at all in all this time~" Alice said haughtily, raising her head.

"Humph!"

"I'm much better than before!"

"On the contrary, have you established yourself in the Twin Dragons Gym yet?" Ban Shilang immediately retorted.

"Oh, really?"

"Why don't we have a little sparring?"

"Don't cry like you used to when you lose a match!"

Alice tilted her head back. Back in school, Alice had often suppressed this Guaishiro.

"Bring it on! This time, I'm sure I won't lose to you!"

Two children, somewhat sulking, walked out of the door to their battleground, neither willing to give in.

... ...

"Hehe, my grandson is reckless..."

"I'm sorry to have made you laugh, Curator Haoyan..." Adek scratched his head sheepishly.

"Hehe, Mr. Adek is joking..."

"Young people are generally quite energetic..." Hao Yan's speech was mature and sophisticated, but his face looked unusually young.

This truly made the elderly Aldace extremely envious.

... ...

"Come forth, Haxorus!"

Alice was the first to release her Pokémon.

"Humph~"

"Come out, giant swamp monster!"

"Mega Evolution, Giant Swamp Monster!"

Gua Shi Lang was not to be outdone and released his first Pokémon.

And because he was fighting Alice, Gua Shilang took it very seriously and immediately put the Giant Swamp Monster into a super-evolution state.

While Hao Yan was having tea and chatting with Aldeck in the room, he looked out the window and saw the Mega Evolution of the Guava outside. He almost spat out his tea, clearly startled...

The giant swamp monster that surprised Hao Yan so much was actually a shiny Pokémon!

Shiny Pokémon are rare, though.

But I've seen plenty of Hao Yan, who has a broad perspective.

His Charizard is a shiny Pokémon.

Including Nakia from the Hoenn region, whose Swellow is also shiny.

Daigo's Metagross is also a different color.

But when he saw the strangely colored giant swamp monster, he was truly terrified!

Because the strangely colored giant swamp monster is entirely pink!

The key point is that the giant swamp monster is male!

The Mega Swamp Monster, after its super evolution, is like a muscular, strong man!

But what if it's pink?

The art style just started to look weird~

The feeling is like a muscular hunk wearing a pink schoolgirl uniform~

"Cough cough~"

Haoyan quickly took a sip of tea to hide his surprise.

"Hahaha~"

"Director Haoyan, don't you think the pink giant swamp monster is super cute?" Adeke said with a smile when he saw Haoyan's expression.

"Hmm~"

"It is... cute~" Haoyan nodded reluctantly.

I don't know if it's because of his age or hearing loss.

He was speaking loudly, and Fan Shilang outside saw Haoyan trying not to laugh, which made him feel inexplicably embarrassed.

... ...

It's likely that Gua Shilang was already used to these strange looks. He quickly adjusted and commanded the giant swamp monster to fight against Alice's double-axe war dragon.

Adek sipped his tea while watching their battle with great interest.

Haoyan, on the other hand, was quietly drinking his tea.

The pink giant swamp monster reminded Haoyan of Kyogre, the sea god.

It looks like a different colored Kyogre.

It's also pink~

Tsk tsk~

Pink Geokaoka~

Hmm~ That's something~

... ...

Chapter 614 What's going on here?

"Haxodon, use Demon Mask!"

During the battle, Alice seemed like a completely different person, calm and at ease.

"roar~"

The Haxorus immediately created a ferocious illusion, briefly stunning its opponent, the Giant Swamp Monster.

"Now's the time! Double Haxorus, use Double Slash!" Alice seized the opportunity and launched her attack.

"roar~"

The Haxorus immediately used its sharp claws to inflict damage on the pink giant swamp monster.

"Giant Swamp Monster, use Protect!" Gua Shilang didn't dare to be careless and quickly commanded Giant Swamp Monster to defend.

Boom~

Alice's Haxorus is already superior to Guako's Giant Swamp Monster in terms of rank. Even with Mega Evolution, it only barely closes the gap between the two.

Even so, Alice still managed to defeat Gua Shilang's giant swamp monster with her command skills.

... ...

On several occasions, Alice's brilliant command drew praise from Adek.

Halfway through the match, Adek suddenly sighed and said to Haoyan.

"Director Hiroyuki, although I'm still the champion of the Unova region..."

"But actually, I submitted my retirement application to the league three years ago..."

"But for a full three years, the league is still looking for someone to replace me..."

"Among the most promising candidates to succeed me are Alice and Cattleya, who just became one of the Four Heavenly Kings..."

"In your opinion, which of the two women is more qualified to take on this important role..."

Hao Yan silently took a sip of tea, even though he knew that in the future, Alice would defeat Cattleya and become the champion of the Unova region.

But when asked by Adek, he shook his head and said, "To be a champion, you need the ability to coordinate various departments and the decisiveness to handle unexpected events..."

"These are all things that require experience..."

As Haoyan said, Alice and the proud and arrogant Cattleya may become very powerful in the future.

However, they are relatively young.

Their decision-making ability on some key issues is still somewhat immature.

In other words, they may have the ability to win the championship.

However, they are not yet fully qualified to be leaders in a region.

As he spoke, a sly glint flashed in Adek's eyes.

He spoke again, saying, "Director Haoyan is right..."

"So I made a suggestion to the alliance..."

"When I retire, I'll have Director Hiroyuki temporarily take over as the Unova region's champion and handle related matters..."

"As the undisputed number one player in the alliance, Hao Yan's strength goes without saying..."

"Secondly, your composure in the face of crisis has earned you countless admirers..."
