One Piece: The Salted Fish Fruit

"Don't you dare say I'm your savior!"
"How dare you say 'I'm not allowed' to Grandpa! Do you even want to live?!" Garp, his rage at its peak, clenched his fist, radiating heat, and swung it towards Luffy's furious face.
"Grandpa, I was wrong!" Seeing Garp and Luffy steaming from head to toe, Luffy immediately bent down, covered his face with his hands to avoid being beaten up, and apologized!
"It's over! It's over! Maple and Luffy are going to be captured by the Marines!" Chopper shouted as he ran around on the ground.
"Let go of my brother!" Merry, his body crackling with blue and white lightning, rolled over and ran to where several fist-sized balls of lightning flickered.
"Relax! Relax! Merry extinguishing the lightning is just the old man's way of greeting us! Old man, just vent your anger and don't scare my companions!" Merry, her face bruised and swollen from hanging on Garp's fist, waved her arms and tried to persuade Garp.
"You're not qualified to discipline my grandson, you dead salted fish! I'm going to settle this score with you properly!" Seeing that Mabi had regained her senses, Mabi Kap once again swung her fist at Mabi's face!
"Old man, you really want to kill me!" Mabi, whose body was completely restrained by Garp's domineering aura, shouted as she watched the fist grow larger and larger.
Chapter 134 Garp's Apology!
"Clink! Pour the tea!" A porcelain white teacup was pushed in front of Mabi.
"Yes, sir!" With a gourd-sized puff of water on her head, Mabi reluctantly raised the teapot in her hand and filled the teacup in front of her.
"Princess Mia, do you need me to take you away? These two bastards are getting more and more lawless, even committing robbery." Garp continued to gulp down the strong tea he had just poured, leaned back in his chair, glanced at Mia beside him, and then launched into a tirade against Maple and Luffy.
"This!" Facing the naval hero Mia, who could defeat Luffy and Maple in an instant, Mia bit her lower lip, hesitant to speak. If she revealed the plan, it would bring trouble to her country, but if she didn't, the old man in front of her would continue to misunderstand Luffy and Maple, and she would inevitably suffer another round of elder's concern.
"It's alright, the old man is no outsider!" Maby reminded Mia when she saw her hesitate and put down the teapot.
"Yes!" Mia nodded in understanding after hearing Maggie's help, and slowly exhaled before turning to Garp, who was leaning back in his chair waiting for her answer, and gave him her reply.
"Vice Admiral Garp, thank you! After what happened before, I will surely be wanted and have a bounty on my head. A person who has been a pirate must never become a princess of a country again. If that gets out, people outside will think that the country is a pirate's kingdom! From now on, there is no longer a Princess Mia. There is only a pirate named Mia living in the Straw Hat Pirates."
"It seems you've made up your mind." Garp gulped down another mouthful of strong tea, looked up at the illusory projection in the sky, exhaled heavily, stood up, and bowed to Mia.
"Your Highness Mia, we were sorry for what we did!"
Upon seeing Garp's actions and words, Mia immediately understood the reason behind what Vice Admiral Garp had done. She quickly jumped aside and hid behind Maggie, peeking out her small golden head and looking anxiously at the apologizing Garp!
"Mr. Karp, what are you doing? What happened to me has nothing to do with you!"
"Grandpa!" Luffy, who was slumped on the ground, shouted when he saw his grandfather's actions.
"Lieutenant General Garp!"
The naval personnel who had followed behind were stunned when they saw their superior apologizing.
"Is this really the Navy? They're actually apologizing to pirates!" Usopp muttered to himself from a distance.
"Is this the legendary naval hero? To act like this!" Robin, who was also sitting at the table, was filled with disbelief!
“Mr. Karp, you’re exaggerating. Those things aren’t worth doing, after all, they’re opinions from the top.”
Upon seeing this, Mabi immediately shouted urgently. As Garp's apprentice who had spent a lot of time with him, Mabi naturally knew that the last two words of his name were suffocating him because he pretended to be carefree and crazy every day, but in fact, he was just transferring and venting his emotions.
"You damn salted fish! Do I need you to tell me what to do?" Hearing Mabi's command, Garp punched her directly. Seeing Mabi lying on the ground twitching, he felt relieved and sat back down in his chair, looking at Mia's face and laughing heartily.
"Haha! Since Princess Mia has decided whether to stay or leave, I won't take you back to Marine Headquarters. And since Luffy is my grandson, I've decided not to issue any warrants for your arrest on this island!"
"Haha! I've already come up with an excuse, so you can just stay here peacefully!"
"Is this his own grandfather? So casual!" This series of actions immediately stunned everyone around, leaving them speechless. Was it really okay to openly disobey orders like this?
"You two have something to say to Luffy! Then go and have a chat with him!"
"Yes, Lieutenant General Garp!" Two powerful voices rang out from behind Garp, and two figures leaped out from behind him in an instant.
"Bang! Bang!" With several muffled sounds, Luffy and Zoro instantly raised their hands and drew their swords to intercept the attacks that were coming through the air!
"Haha! Then, old man, please stay for a meal before you leave! Sanji, serve the food!" Maggie, who had stood up again, saw the two figures and immediately understood, laughing heartily. She gestured to Sanji beside her to start preparing the food. This was originally intended as a final feast before her departure, and the food was already cooked and ready to be served. She then went directly to the portal and forcibly closed it, shutting out the guests to prevent anyone from filming the scene of a Marine hero daring to eat with pirates. As for his adjutant and a few Marines coming in, it wouldn't be a big deal.
···
"Haha! Your food is pretty good! Luffy, I heard you met your dad?" Garp, sitting at the table, shouted at Luffy, who was also eating voraciously, as he tore at a piece of meat in his hand.
"Ah! Dad? Who is my dad? Do I have a dad?" Luffy, desperately swallowing the piece of meat in his mouth, looked at Garp with a face full of questions.
"So you didn't know! Looks like he didn't show up! He said he'd deliver you in Loguetown!" Garp said disappointedly, swallowing the piece of meat in his mouth and gulping down the strong tea that Mabi had poured out.
"Loguetown..." Zoro looked up and his eyes flashed with a strange charm.
"Where was his father at that time?" Sanji asked, just as curious.
"Who is Luffy's father?" Usopp asked, swallowing the rice ball in his mouth.
"I also want to know who Luffy's father is?" Nami opened her eyes and looked over.
"Grandpa, tell me! Who is my father?" Luffy, who valued knowledge more than food, also put down his food, stopped eating, and looked at his grandfather, asking for an answer.
“We also want to know what the identity of Vice Admiral Garp’s child is! We’ve never heard the Vice Admiral mention it.” The adjutant sitting to Garp’s left and several other marines also cast questioning glances their way, with two soldiers with pink and yellow hair and scarred faces looking even more curious.
"Your father's name? It's Monkey D. Dragon! He was a revolutionary!" Garp said casually, then picked up a piece of crystal-colored meat and put it in his mouth to chew.
"Dragon? My dad's name? I don't know that!" Luffy tilted his head, his mind full of questions.
"Monkey D. Dragon? Uncle Dragon!" Jack, who was squatting on the table with his mouth wide open, ready to stuff pudding into it, was completely stunned.
"Dragon? Revolutionary?" The group carefully considered Garp's words and matched them with the characters in their minds. Suddenly, everyone's expression changed drastically. Among the people they knew, the only one who matched was that most evil criminal! Instantly, the entire dining table seemed to explode with air. Everyone retreated far away from the table, looking at the remaining figure on the table with horror.
"Monkey D. Dragon has children!"
"Luffy is actually a dragon's child!"
"So Dragon is Garp's child!"
"A naval hero! One of history's greatest criminals! Several madmen among pirates!"
"The three major powers have all been taken over by their family! What's wrong with their family that they could raise such a talent!"
"Never heard of it." Luffy was full of questions after hearing Garp's answer, but seeing the crowd retreating far away, he suddenly became even more puzzled!
What's wrong with everyone?
"Damn it! You don't even know who your own father is?" Sanji was furious when he heard Luffy's question and slapped Luffy's shoulder repeatedly.
"I never expected you to be his son. No wonder you're so fearless!" Franky stared wide-eyed as he looked between Luffy and Garp.
"Hey! Robin!" Luffy, who was being slapped by Sanji, looked at Robin in confusion.
"How should I put it?" Robin said slowly, his cheeks covered in cold sweat as he pondered the memory of that figure in his mind.
"Pirates generally don't attack the Navy and the World Government on their own initiative, but a group of people has emerged in this world who have been fighting for the belief of overthrowing the World Government. Their leader is Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army. His ideas have spread widely in many countries, leading to the judgment of kingdoms and the destruction of many countries."
"The world governments are furious about this and have been hunting down the dragon behind it as the world's most wanted criminal! His background has always been a mystery, and no one knows where he came from. But now..." Robin couldn't finish her sentence. Her eyes swept over the person who had accidentally uttered something that could shake the entire world, and she felt her brain freeze. The old man in front of her must have done a lot to help cover it up since it wasn't discovered.
"Oh dear! I forgot that this kind of information shouldn't be spread." At this moment, Garp, like an old man who suddenly realized something, patted his head with his greasy hands as if he knew he had said something he shouldn't have, and then laughed heartily without a care in the world!
"Pfft, hahaha! Then just pretend we never said that."
"Ah!" Everyone froze upon hearing Garp's weak explanation, and Nami, in her haste, was the first to snap out of it and call out to Mabi.
"Mabi, close the door right now! We absolutely cannot let anyone hear about Luffy's past!"
"Oh dear! We've already shut it down. The information the old man said is only known to a few people here! After all, it's not appropriate for Uncle Long's identity to be known by others right now. Besides, with so many reporters lingering outside, even a few words leaked out could cause trouble for the old man." Maggie muttered as she frantically devoured the food on the table. If she didn't eat soon, there wouldn't be any left.
"That's good!" Nami said, patting her ample bosom with relief.
"Huh! Uncle Dragon? Maggie, you've met my dad!" Upon hearing Maggie's words, Luffy tilted his head and immediately started snatching food from her.
“Yeah! I saw him in Loguetown. He was standing right behind you, but you didn’t see him because you were pinned to the ground by Smoker, that smoke guy. Also, you almost beat him up,” Maby explained for him.
"So everyone else has seen him except me!" Luffy, feeling wronged after hearing the explanation, turned his grief and anger into appetite and started stuffing food into his mouth along with Maple.
"Pfft, hahaha! That brat is still the same as ever! Kid, do you know that bastard Long? Are you a member of the White Tiger Clan?" Karp laughed loudly upon hearing Mabi's explanation, then grabbed Jack by the scruff of his neck and pulled him up in front of him to ask.
"Ah! Uncle Long? He came to our island and took away one of the Devil Fruits we offered! He said he would definitely take us out of the Calm Belt so that we could return to normal society and live there." Jack, whose body was suspended in mid-air and covered in bandages, stuffed a piece of meat into his mouth, removed the cloud of mist that was used to hold the food in his palms, and his two pink paw pads were interlocked firmly.
"Pfft, hahaha! I never thought your old-fashioned elders would actually give in. Back when we passed through the Calm Belt and we took him with us to land, he never forgot the fruit you offered him, and in the end, he still managed to get his hands on it." Hearing Jack's explanation, Garp burst into laughter, put him aside, stood up, looked at the illusory projected buildings around him and the pile of scattered metal equipment in the distance, reached out and grabbed Maple by the collar, holding her in his hand as he looked around at the Straw Hat crew.
"Straw Hat Boys, it seems you've also inherited something from before. Make good use of it; digesting these things will benefit your voyages."
"If you're all full, then we're leaving! You two stay here, I'm just here to see Luffy! You lazy bum, come with me, hahaha!" Having finished explaining everything, Garp grabbed Maple by the collar, laughing heartily as he called his adjutant away.
"Yes, Lieutenant General Garp!" The two men who had been ordered by Garp immediately stood at attention and saluted.
"Friends! I'm leaving now! Don't worry, I'll definitely bring Abi back." Feeling the iron-hard clothing against her skin, Mabi forced herself to turn around and shout goodbye to her friends.
"Mabi! She's our companion, we must bring her back!" Everyone watched Mabi's departing figure as he left. Originally, this was a responsibility shared by everyone, but now, in order to save time, Mabi had to go alone.
“No problem! I’ll be back as soon as possible!” Maggie replied loudly.
"Oh!"
"Damn it! He left without even saying goodbye to Grandpa!" Garp roared angrily upon seeing Luffy's actions.
"Ouch! I'm going to get beaten up whether I fight back or not!" Luffy, who was just about to chat with Kobi, suddenly got punched on the head and rolled on the ground in pain!
"Damn it! How dare you try to talk your way out of this!" After knocking Luffy out with another punch, Maggie angrily grabbed him and made him open the door and tell the soldiers still outside to leave!
"This old man really is like a hurricane, coming and going as he pleases!" Sanji remarked as he cleared away the plates he had eaten from.
“But Apis is known as the Sea Queen, I’m really worried that something might happen to Mabi!” Mia asked, resting her chin on her hands on the table and gently sipping her drink through the straw.
"Don't worry! That pervert is really strong! I never expected his punches to be taught by the same teacher as Luffy's! I really want to know who his swordsmanship teacher is!" Zoro said with a wicked smile, one arm draped over his arm in the chair and leaning back. He picked up a bottle of liquor and chugged it down.
Mia, Nami, Sanji, and Jack, who hadn't gone far, all glanced at Zoro as he complained.
"Hey, hey, hey! What do you mean by this?" Seeing the unreadable look in their eyes, I felt pricked all over and couldn't help but interrupt.
"Hey, green-haired moss! That freakish kicking power was taught to him by my old man! His punches were taught by Luffy's grandfather! And his swordsmanship?" Sanji exhaled smoke rings as he stared at Zoro, his whole body filled with questions. If he really had the same teacher as Zoro, why hadn't he mentioned it before?
"How is that possible? Then why don't I know him!"
"With his Devil Fruit ability, it's easy for people not to know!" Nami replied, picking up a glass of beer and chugging it down.
“If Mabi met Zoro before boarding the ship, then he must know some things about Zoro that we don’t! For example, Mabi said before that a woman was Zoro’s little lover! Zoro had a big reaction at the time!” Mia narrowed her smiling eyes and looked at Zoro.
"Tashigi!" Zoro shouted without thinking when he heard the woman being teased by Mami, but he immediately regretted it as soon as the words left his mouth!
“Zoron! I didn’t say who it was!” Mia laughed.
"Oh! So it really is true!" Nami laughed too!
"So the swordsman isn't alone after all!" Robin, carrying books, laughed as she walked past Zoro.
Upon hearing his companion's teasing, Zoro's face turned bright red, and he roared to the sky!
