Shota is surrounded by monsters!

We have no choice but to go along with her wishes.
"This one……"
Shota glanced at Rea beside him, who dared not speak, his heart trembled slightly, and finally he said, "I, I have no problem."
"That's good."
Sanka Danichiro made the arrangements directly, saying, "I will invite people to the engagement after the exam. Until then, you should stay at my house and learn some etiquette and manners. I don't want you to still be so lazy when you stand next to my Rea on that day."
"...Actually, I can be very serious sometimes, you know."
Shota was slightly annoyed by Sanka Danichiro's evaluation and said, "But if I were to get serious, I think all the guests would be scared to death."
Anyone can exude an aura of dominance; if Shota were to just shake it, this mansion would probably be torn down.
"Alright, Father, we'll talk about this later."
Seeing that Shota seemed about to start arguing with his father again, Rea quickly said, "Let's go out first. After all, there are still people waiting for us."
As she spoke, she quickly pulled Shota's hand and walked away from her father.
After they stepped outside, Rea's stepmother, Sanka Aria, was leaning against the wall, waiting for them to come out.
"Mother, Mother."
Upon seeing her mother, who seemed somewhat reluctant to acknowledge her, Rei still greeted her politely.
The mistress of the Sanka family glanced at Shota and Rea, then said with a smile, "Congratulations."
"Huh?"
It seemed like it had been a long time since she had seen her mother. Rea didn't react for a moment and just subconsciously said, "Thank you."
Could it be that her inner conflict has been resolved?
"What you gave me is very useful."
As she walked past Shota, Sanka Aria whispered these words before continuing toward the room where Sanka Danichiro was.
"Oh."
Shota couldn't help but laugh out loud, but this earned him a somewhat suspicious look from Rea.
"We shouldn't interfere in your parents' affairs."
Shota smiled mysteriously, then took Rea's hand and led her to meet up with Mashiro and the others.
It was around midnight.
The abandoned building at the foot of Sanhua Mountain welcomed two guests after a long absence.
"After all this time, nothing has changed at all."
Although she was no longer afraid of the cold, the maid at home still prepared a coat for Rea. At this moment, Rea, wearing a bright red coat, took Shota's hand and came to the place where the two first met.
"Yeah, nothing has changed at all."
Shota walked up to the dry well where he had once been, wiped away all the dust with his hand, and said with a touch of nostalgia, "Back then you..."
"Huh? A kitten?"
Upon hearing Rea's words, Shota instinctively tried to look for the cats around him, but found nothing. Instead, he discovered that Rea was looking at him with her smiling eyes.
"Meow."
Shota laughed and imitated a cat's sound.
"A golden kitten."
Rea walked up and stroked Shota's black hair, but she couldn't stop smiling.
"Huh, I've never seen a kitten like this before. It has no whiskers, and its limbs and tail look strange. Is it a new breed of cat? It looks a bit like a dog, but also like other animals..."
"Of course, I'm not a feline, so how could I have whiskers?"
"However, judging from the sound, it should be a cat, right? An unknown little kitten-chan."
Rea tilted her head, looked into Shota's eyes, and reached out to scratch Shota's chin, saying, "Hello."
"It really feels good to have a pretty girl scratch your chin."
Shota directly expressed his inner thoughts at the time.
"come over."
Rea tidied up a clean spot, then sat down, patted her thigh, and gestured for Shota to lie down.
"A lap pillow..."
Shota rested his head on Rea's thigh, feeling the touch of her skin, and looked into her eyes, saying, "This is really comfortable."
"I don't know where your owner is, or even your name. How about I call you Kin-chan from now on?" Rea stroked Shota's cheek while looking down at him and said, "You ran here. Did the other cats ostracize you because you look weird?"
"Think what you want."
Shota slowly closed his eyes.
"Oh right, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Rea, Sanka Rea."
Rea grasped Shota's hand, a nostalgic expression on her face, and asked, "We're friends now, right?"
No.
Shota took Rea's hand in front of his eyes, kissed it gently, and said with a smile, "Before long, we'll be husband and wife. Also, my name is Shota Kousaka, the lost young lady."
"Is that right?"
Rei feigned surprise and said, "So much has changed already."
"Yes, don't you want this change to happen?"
While Rei looked down, Shota took the opportunity to lift his head and give her a light kiss on the lips, then pulled her up and walked to the well.
"If you don't want to, just shout 'No' at this well like you used to."
Upon hearing Shota's words, Rea bent down and looked at the dry well.
No, perhaps it shouldn't be called a dry well anymore. Sometime during the day, clear water began to flow back into the well. By the bright moonlight, Rea could even see a happy smile reflected in the water.
This person must be myself, right?
After taking a deep breath, Rea shouted loudly into the well as if venting her anger:
"I am willing!"
Looking back at your past self, are you still feeling hopeless about your current life?
Don't be discouraged, because that special guest who will accompany you throughout your life and fill your future with joy and laughter will appear soon.
So please stay alert and wait.
Because right now I am really, really, really, really...
happy.
Update notes...
There's only one chapter left. I won't be updating for the next few days. I'll take some time to find the illustrations, and then this book will be finished.
As for the side stories that everyone was eagerly anticipating, I regret to say that since they have been censored and removed, they simply don't exist. Time doesn't stand still, so let's all keep our eyes on the future...
However, three chapters featuring monsters were censored. The original cover also didn't meet the requirements and was censored; even though it was censored, it still didn't work. It's really disheartening. But I made a new cover, so let's just make do with it~
After these three books are finished, there will probably be some good news that everyone wants to hear?
Well, lastly, thank you to "咸鱼233号" and "我是一头泥鳅" for helping correct typos during this time. Thank you for your hard work! [bows]
Information regarding the new book
Well, first of all, I'm very touched. I never expected that after so many years, a friend with a four-figure following would contact me without any prior transaction regarding this book, and there are also several familiar and unfamiliar friends who have given me tips. And, of course, are those who said they'd introduce me to their younger siblings still around?
Let's get down to business. I'm sure everyone's looking forward to the new book, but these days, new books can't be written like they used to. I can start anything and it gets rejected; my editor will probably kill me. I was supposed to release it this month, but due to some family issues, that plan has been indefinitely postponed. Of course, I'll continue preparing it once things improve. Let's not even talk about the rejected beginning—well, even though I'm not satisfied with what I wrote.
However, to be honest, it's been years since I've written anything, and I wonder what kind of content readers like these days. I'd like to do a simple survey. I have a few ideas on hand; feel free to comment and reply!
1- Urban Youth Genre. Definitely an original setting, similar to Usagi Drop. The main storyline will show everyone the realities of the anime/manga community (not just watching anime and playing mobile games, but also cosplay circles, maybe?).
2- Crossover/Infinite Worlds. There used to be a project called Infinite City, right? If you're going to write one, feel free to suggest which worlds you'd like to see.
3- A hodgepodge of various anime and manga. If you're into yokai (supernatural beings), you'll understand. However, as everyone knows, I'm not good at combat, so this will lean more towards slice-of-life.
4- Original futuristic or fantasy setting. This is the type I most want to write, but it's also the worst I've ever written. I really want to write it, but I'm never satisfied with what I produce. I'm terrible at setting things up.
These are roughly the four approaches I've explored, and I've started on almost every one of them. I need to listen to the editor's opinions as well as everyone else's.
As for filling the hole? We'll discuss that once you find the hole I dug. I've turned over a new leaf!
P.S.: If you want to find me, you can look me up on Weibo. A quick search will find me. Yeah, I'm just here to ask for your attention.
A new book has been published.
Synopsis: I originally thought that the bond between siblings would grow further and further apart as we grew older, until I started my own family and she got married. We became like ordinary relatives, rarely seeing each other even a few times a year.
However, this assumption vanished the moment I suddenly came across the rabbit ear headband.
I promise you, at least this year I will update regularly and guarantee two updates a day.
