Mans reached out and tugged at him, whispering, "A weapon capable of slaying dragons is too precious. The academy will lend it to you when you need it, so don't accept it."

He genuinely cared for Xia Mu and didn't want Principal Angers to have any opinions.

"Alright then." Xia Mu untied the straps and placed the sword case on the ground.

"and many more."

Principal Angers unexpectedly stopped him, pointing to the sword case: "Try to pull out the heaviest sword. If you can pull it out, the whole set of weapons is yours."

Professor Mans was taken aback.

Everyone present was seeing this set of swords for the first time, and they all craned their necks to look at them.

Principal Angers pulled up a hidden clasp, and with a clear, melodious sound, the internal mechanism slid out, bringing out seven completely different swords. Under the ship's xenon lights, the dark gold blades revealed patterns of ice silk, pine needles, flowing clouds, and flames.

"It's so beautiful..."

Professor Mans couldn't resist reaching out to touch the longest sword hilt, the one Angers said was the heaviest.

"Is there some necessary condition that prevents ordinary hybrid bloodlines from being extracted... Come on..."

With a clang, Mans froze.

He pulled out the heaviest of the sabers, leaving it half a meter from the scabbard, but not completely out.

"Put it back, it hasn't woken up yet." Principal Angers pressed his hand back, letting "Wrath" return to its scabbard.

He bit his finger, held up his bleeding finger so everyone could see the drop of blood, and then slowly smeared it on the knife case.

Blood quickly filled the inscription on the scabbard.

"Get out of the way, it's about to wake up."

The principal gestured for everyone to step back.

Chapter 133 The Sudden Attack

Even if the principal didn't say anything, everyone was already backing away; everyone could feel the change.

"Om..."

It came back to life, as if a heart was beating in the scabbard, not just one, but seven, with all seven swords awakening at the same time.

"Dong dong dong..."

Seven different heartbeats blended together, some like a booming bell, others like a rapid drumbeat.

The surface of the scabbard reveals dark red, vine-like patterns, like its blood vessels, with a pulsating heart sending frenzied blood throughout its body.

"Must it be awakened with blood?"

Xia Mu looked at his palm strangely; there was no blood.

But when he grasped it, it was as if he were holding the body of a dragon, and the entire sword came to life.

“You were probably injured underwater, which is why you were able to activate it,” Principal Angers said.

Xia Mu quickly put his hand down, nodded seriously, indicating that this was indeed the case, that he was right.

"Try again?"

Principal Angers patted Mans on the shoulder.

"call…"

Professor Mans was a little nervous, instinctively feeling that he couldn't touch the longest sword from before.

He took a deep breath and gripped the smallest short sword, "Lust," which resembled a Japanese wakizashi.

There was another force gripping the dagger tightly in the scabbard, but with a little effort, he pulled it out immediately.

“Very good, next one, ‘Taotie’.” Principal Angers clapped his hands.

Mans gripped the hilt of the Yatkan sword, and this time the power within the scabbard was ten times greater than that of "Lust." The sword slowly left the scabbard.

“Next, ‘greed’,” the principal said calmly.

Mans gripped the hilt of "Greed," focused intently, and breathed deeply, as if it flowed from his breath all the way to his fingertips, before exerting force!

"Buzz!"

Blood dripped onto the ground as he looked at his palm. The Scottish broadsword remained untouched in its scabbard, its hilt bristling with dense metallic scales that pierced his hand.

The scales only slowly closed up after Mans moved his hand away.

He was rejected by "greed".

"Do you understand? This set of alchemical swords has requirements regarding bloodline," Principal Angers said.

Mans looked terrified: "It felt...like being stared at by a dragon."

"That 'Arrogance' weapon..."

He pointed to the Han sword that Xia Mu had pulled out earlier.

Principal Angers chuckled and shook his head, looking at Xia Mu: "A-grade bloodline cannot draw 'Arrogance,' it is the fifth one."

"No wonder the principal was so decisive in promoting him to 'S' level." Everyone suddenly realized.

"The Han-style sword named 'Arrogance,' the katana named 'Jealousy,' and the powerful horse-slaying sword 'Wrath'..."

Principal Angers pointed to each one, but didn't touch them at all. "Don't pull out the first four, just pull out the last two."

Xia Mu glanced around; everyone was staring at him with intense gazes.

"Forget it, I won't pull it out. The principal can keep it for safekeeping." To everyone's surprise, he took a step back and shook his head.

"why?"

Angers frowned.

Xia Mu smiled and said very seriously, "Because I don't want to know my limits. I firmly believe that I can do what I want to do, and I don't want to break this belief."

He possesses a spiritual fire that, if refined further, will one day transform into the Philosopher's Stone of Infinity. Why expose it here?

Although he didn't know what he would expose, he just felt he couldn't pull the trigger...

Because he felt it the second time he used it, he could pull it out no matter which handle it was.

Angers' expression shifted, and he gave him a deep look.

"Don't you want to know the limits...?"

In a sense, this is too much like himself.

Because the person who is to bury the dragons cannot be someone with limits, he firmly believed this and was convinced that he could do it.

Principal Angers bent down and closed the seven deadly sins.

In fact, he knew, and Xia Mu knew, that so far, no one but Xia Mu could use the latter three swords, so it didn't matter who kept them.

On the contrary, staying by Xia Mu's side would bring a lot of trouble. After all, there is more than one mixed-blood organization in the world than Kassel College. If he were to carry the Seven Deadly Sins around, who knows how many dangers he would encounter.

"Besides it..."

Angers stroked the black dragon's menacing dorsal fin, then turned to ask Mans, "What else did Ye Sheng and Aki get? Was there a bronze pot as tall as a person?"

Mans handed a rope from the ship's side to the principal.

The principal pulled the copper pot out of the water by using a rope.

He stroked the fine lines on the surface and murmured a prayer.

“This black dragon shouldn’t be Norton, right? The Bronze and Fire Lord wouldn’t be killed so easily. He really wants to get this jar back. I think this thing will be of research value,” Mance said.

"Of course not the Dragon King Norton, but a dragon servant, a warrior who guards the Dragon King's soul."

The headmaster said, "This bronze urn is a urn containing bones, or rather, an 'egg.' The inscription on it reads: 'With my blood and bones I dedicate to His Majesty Nidhogg, the supreme, powerful, and virtuous being who rules the world by destiny.' Norton is inside!"

Mans perked up: "We've captured a dragon king alive?"

"Based on current inferences, that's probably it." Angers patted him on the shoulder. "Good job, you've done a great job."

“It’s all thanks to Xia Mu. By the way,” Mans rubbed his hands together, “You promised before, Principal, that I could become Xia Mu’s mentor when we get back, right? I can’t wait to be an S-level mentor!”

"We'll talk about this when we get back..."

Principal Angers was deliberately teasing him, but just as he was about to make a surprising turn and say, "You will be his mentor in the future," a sudden tremor occurred beneath his feet.

The tremor was very slight, like a finger gently poking the bottom of the ship, but it easily transmitted the force throughout the entire Moniach.

Angers could clearly see that Mans, Ye Shengjiu, Deyaji, and the others on the opposite side were increasing the distance between them and him…

"Be careful--"

In that instant, the deck beneath my feet shattered into pieces, and the entire ship broke apart from the center.

If you zoom out, you can see that the huge ship in the river looks as if it has been dismantled in an instant, turning into parts that are not fixed in place.

And then, it shattered completely in the next moment.

"boom!"

The deafening roar, the wailing of countless screws and nuts, left the warship-like tugboat utterly powerless to resist.

There were dozens of members of the task force on its hull, and now they all fell into the water.

"boom!"

A massive vortex swirled around the Moniach, threatening to suck it in completely in an instant.

A dark shadow darted across the water like a harpoon, heading straight for Xia Mu who had fallen in.

"Crack!"

But the attack failed to hit him, because the river water around his body instantly froze into an ice wall.

Erii opened her magnificent golden eyes in the water, and a cross-shaped ice spear in her hand shot out through the water...
