In that brief moment, Jackie Chan reached out and grabbed the sun disc without hesitation. The sun disc seemed to have identified Jackie Chan as an ally, and he was pulled into Jackie Chan's arms without any resistance.
While somewhat surprised, Ethan reacted swiftly, creating a massive sand wall that directly separated him from Casillas after Jackie Chan succeeded.
Just as the two were about to make their escape, their surroundings suddenly began to twist. This was Kamar-Taj's signature move, a mirrored space specifically designed to prevent enemies from escaping.
Casillas, whose plan was almost thwarted, turned pale and walked slowly towards Jackie Chan, demanding, "Hand over the item!"
Ethan gave Jackie Chan a wink, and the Olympic flame shot straight out from his forehead. Casillas raised his hand to block it and pressed down, slamming Ethan, along with the flame, into the surrounding wall.
Jackie Chan could only manage a wry smile. He understood Ethan's signal, but how could he escape in this situation? He didn't have the superhuman skill of climbing stairs.
Casillas hesitated for a moment. Jackie Chan hadn't been attacked when he took the Sun Disc, so he thought the man might have some kind of control over it. But then he thought, if he really did, Jackie Chan could have taken advantage of the demon's desperate actions while he was fighting for it. That would have been better than having to fight for it at the last minute.
After figuring it out, Casillas lifted Jackie Chan up with one hand. The struggling Jackie Chan was like an ant in the giant hand, powerless to resist.
After taking the dimmed sun disc from Jackie Chan's arms, Casillas ignited hellfire on Jackie Chan's arm, intending to burn this guy who dared to steal his things alive!

Chapter 104 Shurima! Your Emperor has returned!
Jackie Chan's legs swung wildly in the air as he watched the hellfire draw ever closer, the shadow of death looming ever nearer.
Suddenly, Jackie Chan caught sight of two rotating halo lights out of the corner of his eye.
A beam of light severed Casillas' right hand, turning it into mist, and Jackie Chan fell to the ground with a thud. Another beam severed his left hand, turning it into mist, and the sun disc fell directly into his arms.
After clinging tightly to the Sun Disc, Jackie Chan ducked and tried to run away, but Casillas kicked him with his right foot, sending him crashing onto the throne. Blood spilled from the corner of his mouth, flowing over the Sun Disc and dripping onto the throne.
After beating Jackie Chan so badly he couldn't get up, Casillas' hands returned to normal. Only then did the sonic boom reach his ears, accompanied by a figure.
Morey reached out and caught the two giant axes that were returning. With a slash to the left and a chop to the right, he chopped the Claw Demon at the door into three pieces.
"Another little bug has arrived, slinking away from New York, yet daring to appear before me. Tired of idleness? Want me to give you a ride?" Casillas said sarcastically to Morey.
Morey's eyes narrowed, and he charged toward Casillas. Before he could even get going, a six-armed serpent demon swung its weapon and blocked Morey's path. After its two arms were severed in two blows, the remaining four arms left several bloody holes in Morey's body.
Casillas sneered and turned to look at Jackie Chan on the throne. He thought Morey had brought some secret weapon to him, but it turned out to be nothing special. At most, he could kill one six-armed snake demon one-on-one. He had more than a dozen demons of this level.
"Cough, cough." Jackie Chan coughed twice, propped himself up from the throne, and was about to run when he felt a force coming from below, and he was thrown out. At the same time, the sun disc in his arms broke free and floated on the throne.
Casillas stopped in his tracks; he had a bad feeling.
Morey dodged back, looking expectantly at the throne. If any capable person appeared now, whether they were friend or foe, as long as they weren't on Casillas' side, it would be good news.
"Shurima! Your Emperor! Has returned!"
A majestic and domineering voice resounded throughout the tomb, and all the melted sand soldiers seemed to stand up again as if time had reversed.
A dozen demons, under his control, gathered around Kaecilius. Kaecilius's mind raced. He had only seen a tomb in the Middle East in the library of Kamar-Taj containing an artifact of an empire, but he knew nothing about who the artifact belonged to or why it was buried there.
(Gu Yi: That's because Yang Qiu hadn't finished writing it yet.)
"Mortals! How dare you invade the territory of Shurima! You are courting death!"
A man wielding a scepter and clad in armor appeared from the throne. The sun disc, seeing him, seemed to recognize a long-lost relative and immediately entered his body.
"How dare you covet the artifacts of Shurima, mortals! The desert will be your only refuge!"
After Casillas' attention was completely drawn to Azel, a hand pulled Jackie Chan underground. Morey, who was stunned by this, was caught off guard and before he could react, a hand also climbed onto his ankle.
After landing on the ground, Ethan quickly led Morey and Jackie Chan away from the place.
Azir did notice Ethan's actions, but the familiar aura emanating from Ethan made him nostalgic. Nasus, my strategist, have you finally returned?
"Your Majesty the Emperor of Shurima, we come in friendship. If you are willing to give us the Sun Disc, I am willing to share the world with you after we have completely conquered mortals!"
Casillas figured Azir wasn't as easy to deal with as Morey and his ilk, so he decided to take advantage of the situation for free.
"You are unworthy to be a ruler, you mortal!"
As Azir spoke, sand soldiers gathered behind him. "Ascended beings should lead mortals to prosperity, not destruction!"
"In recognition of your service in awakening me, I grant you permission to leave this place now, to leave Shurima! This is the mercy of the King!"
Casillas suddenly chuckled. "So you're saying there's no room for negotiation?"
Just as Azir was about to issue his final ultimatum, the demon behind Kaecilius launched an attack.
With too few sand soldiers awakening and insufficient energy in the solar disk, Azir was temporarily suppressed.
"Bah! What trash Shurima, thinking they're something special!" Kaecilius roared with laughter. "Even the Sorcerer Supreme died by my hand, what are you anyway!"
"Let me bury you and your crumbling empire once more!"
Azir was thoroughly enraged by Casillas's arrogance. He raised his scepter, and tens of thousands of tons of sand flew up from above. The light emanating from the scepter dispelled the dark clouds over the land.
"Everyone must remember the name Shurima! This world has no meaning without Shurima!"
As Casillas and the demons, repelled by the immense force, landed on the ground, a magnificent tower rose up behind Azir, upon which stood the sun disk that Casillas had so desperately desired.
Pooh!
Kaecilius spat out the sand in his mouth, and before it even hit the ground, a gust of wind carried it to the side of the giant tower, where it gathered beneath Azir and formed one sand soldier after another.
Azir didn't actually want to fight this match; if he were perfectly healthy, he wouldn't have to bury himself in the grave.
Sleeping in coffins is addictive! He's not one of those perverted vampires.
Casillas's words had crossed Azir's line, and Shurima would not tolerate any insults from others!
"In the name of Shurima, I declare to you! The desert will bury you forever!" Azir pointed his scepter at Kaecilius, and the top of the giant tower behind him began to gather power, the sunlight transforming into pure energy under the transformation of the sun disk.
Casillas was speechless. If he had known earlier that Azir had the ability to overturn the chessboard, he wouldn't have made such a boast after suppressing him, but would have proposed cooperation at the right time. But now things were beyond repair.
As the sand soldiers charged toward his side, Casillas narrowed his eyes. The hellish demons buried in the sand disintegrated into wisps of hellish aura, which he absorbed into his body. Even the high-ranking demons behind him could not escape this fate.
"Surrender to me! This is your last chance! Otherwise, your soul will wail in the fires of hell, and that will be the perfect soundtrack for my conquest of the world!"
Casillas transformed into a gigantic demon and roared loudly, his entire size exceeding the height at which Azir floated.
Chapter 105 Magic is an Eternal Power
Under the sand, Ethan struggled to drag Jackie Chan and Morey out. Good heavens, Azir's outburst almost dragged them out with him.
"Damn it! Damn it! Absolutely terrible luck!" Jackie Chan clutched his chest. "Ethan, aren't you Azir's priest? You're one of us, why are you hiding?"
“No, my priest is someone else.” Ethan shook his head. The moment he saw Azir, Ethan knew he wasn’t the priest. Now there were three options left, but the situation was getting bigger and bigger, and he was starting to doubt whether he would live long enough to find a priest.
"Never mind that for now, how do we solve this!" Morey was getting anxious. The gap was too big. He might not even be able to see through Kaecilius's skin with his axe. As for Azir, he couldn't even get past the Sand Soldiers, let alone the Sun Disk.
“Let’s keep going down, there should be a solution down there,” Ethan said with a sigh.
Hundreds of meters below Ethan, an iron coffin tightly bound by chains began to tremble strangely, and several chains attached to the walls around it broke due to Azir's actions.
Arcane energy seeped out little by little from the cracks in the coffin.
"Azir! I am about to regain my freedom! I will reclaim the rights that are rightfully mine!"
Words brimming with arcane energy echoed throughout the small sealed area. As the sealed being struggled violently within the coffin, the coffin shattered faster and faster, and more and more of the surrounding chains broke.
The patterns on the surface of the coffin used for sealing were also largely corroded by the impact of arcane energy.
A few minutes later, when Ethan arrived with Morey and Jackie Chan, the chains around the coffin were mostly broken.
"This is yours..." Jackie Chan pointed at the coffin and turned to look at Ethan, his tone very uncertain. This guy didn't look like a good person at all.
"It shouldn't be. Let's hurry up and keep going down." Ethan shook his head.
Just then, the chains snapped completely, and the coffin was blown to pieces.
"Nothing can hold me back now! I will transcend the mundane world!" Xerath laughed loudly after breaking free.
Morey stared at the blue arcane energy ball, silently swung his axe, and thought, "Whatever it is! As long as it's not one of our own and doesn't look like a good guy, I'll just swing my axe first!"
Xerath clapped his hand, and the giant axe was directly blasted into energy particles by the arcane energy, without even the chance to return.
"Flesh and blood, how laughable." Xerath finally noticed Morey and the other two. The moment he sensed Ethan, he immediately went berserk, as if he had seen a murderer of his father.
"Nasus! I will erase every trace of you!"
Nasus? Am I offering sacrifices to Nasus? What kind of god is that? I've never heard of him before…
The thought echoed in Ethan's mind. He had read quite a few myths, but none of them contained the name Nasus.
"Tsk tsk," Morey murmured, then waved his right hand, and the giant axe reformed. "Looks like I didn't kill the wrong person. Ethan, you guys keep going down. I'll handle this guy who's not so smart."
Morey's judgment was still very sharp. He could tell at a glance that Xerath was actually very weak. If he didn't take advantage of him now, he would have no chance once Xerath recovered.
This tactic was also used to deal with some dimensional invaders in the past. By launching an attack when the opponent was weakened by the Earth's environment and had not yet established a firm foothold, it always achieved twice the result with half the effort.
Ethan didn't say much. Since Morey was confident, he just believed him. He quickly pulled Cheng along to continue downwards to find the Nasus that Xerath had mentioned.
In the current situation, with more and more powerful enemies emerging, Ethan has absolutely no confidence unless his side has someone capable of confronting them.
Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!
As Ethan sank, the arcane energy surrounding Xerath transformed into three bolts of lightning, striking Morley and his two companions.
Morey held his axe horizontally in front of him, and with his other hand gripping the axe handle, he swung it three times, shattering the lightning. A tingling sensation flowed from the axe into his arm and spread throughout his body.
Damn it, I think I overestimated myself. This blue monster's energy quality is a bit too high.
Feeling his body protesting, and thinking about these things, Morey slightly pulled his hand, and the mirror space unfolded, framing the surrounding area.
"Magic? This is magic too? I thought you were performing magic tricks." Xerath scoffed as his mana surged, arcane pulses spreading in all directions, completely shattering the newly constructed mirror space.
