After a long while, Snape spoke, pretending to be nonchalant.

Chapter Twenty-Nine: Snape's Attack

Wentworth chuckled inwardly upon hearing Snape's words.

Then Wentworth picked up the remaining half-bag of Twisty Beans on the table and waved it in front of Professor Snape.

At this point, Snape could no longer maintain his composure and his facial expressions became quite varied.

After a long while, Snape seemed to realize what was happening and asked:

"Wentworth, it seems you used some special methods. How did you do that?"

This time, Snape finally refrained from speaking to Wentworth in a sarcastic tone.

How did you do it? Of course, you did it using your method!

But Wentworth had no intention of revealing this secret so quickly; otherwise, Snape would have been able to guess that he had obtained Snape's old notes.

Wentworth picked up a small silver knife from the table. Snape mistakenly thought that Wentworth was going to demonstrate it to him, so he couldn't help but walk over and watch Wentworth's steps carefully.

But Wentworth, to Snape's astonishment, returned the sterling silver dagger to Snape and said:

“I’m sorry, Professor Snape, this is a family secret recipe, and I cannot tell you.”

Wentworth's words silenced Snape for a moment, before he finally spoke:

“Well, it seems your family is a potion-making family. No wonder you use a cauldron to cook. For any potion master, it’s normal to spend several days in a row making potions. A cauldron that is readily available is indeed a good utensil for cooking.”

Upon hearing Snape's words, Wentworth couldn't help but think to himself, "No wonder he's a wizard who can invent so many spells. His imagination is so rich that he can even make up his own ideas!"

But Wentworth, on the surface, nodded in agreement.

Seeing this, Snape waved his hand and casually said:

"Alright, you can go home tonight. Remember to continue tomorrow night. I hope you don't get lost on the road and miss the curfew."

Upon hearing Snape tell him to leave, Wentworth picked up his old textbook without hesitation, bowed to Snape, and turned to walk out.

"Wait a moment!"

Suddenly, Snape called out to him from behind Wentworth.

Wentworth stiffened involuntarily, thinking: Snape wouldn't have realized so quickly that he had obtained his notes, would he?

"Since I gave you this bag of Twisty Beans, it's yours. Why would I take it back? Take it, take it!"

Snape said impatiently from behind Wentworth.

Wentworth breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that this was actually Snape's reward to him. Without being polite, he turned around, took the remaining half bag of Twisty Beans, and quickly left.

Even long after Wentworth left, Snape was still staring at the 10 grams of Beans juice Wentworth had left on the table, lost in thought.

Suddenly, Snape reached out and touched the wand at his waist with remarkable agility and speed.

"They've all turned to stone!"

However, someone was faster than Snape. Before Snape's hand even touched his wand, a petrification charm struck him from behind. Snape instantly froze, unable to move.

Snape never expected that he would be attacked in his office at Hogwarts, and he was filled with shock.

Could it be that the person whose name cannot be mentioned has returned?

Then, a voice that could not be identified as male or female rang out behind Snape.

"As expected of Hogwarts, it's quite surprising that a Potions professor could have such a keen sense of perception. You know, even ordinary Aurors would have difficulty detecting my invisibility spell, yet you discovered me so quickly."

"But don't worry, I didn't mean to hurt you. However, you will be punished for your disrespect towards someone today!"

Upon hearing this, Snape was dumbfounded. He was joking, but apart from Dumbledore, he didn't seem to respect anyone much, did he?

Such a thing had never happened before, but it happened today. Soon, the image of Wentworth appeared in Snape's mind.

Sure enough, the voice behind them, whose gender was indistinguishable, continued:

"As you can probably guess, yes, it's Wentworth. Wentworth isn't someone you can just order around. You should be glad you showed him kindness before he left, otherwise, we might need a substitute professor for tomorrow's Potions class."

"Just stay here obediently. The curse will be automatically lifted in about two hours, which will be a small punishment for you."

"Also, I hope you don't let Wentworth know about this, otherwise, the next time I cast a petrification spell on you, it won't be as simple as a petrification spell."

After a long while, there was no more sound behind him. Snape breathed a sigh of relief, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a sense of fear.

You have to understand, this is Hogwarts! It has countless defensive spells, and the greatest white wizard of all time, Dumbledore, is in charge. How could someone have sneaked in without anyone noticing?

Keep in mind, even when Voldemort and the Death Eaters were at their most powerful, they couldn't do this!

At the same time, Wentworth's identity aroused Snape's suspicion. Clearly, Wentworth did not come from an ordinary wizarding family.

Suddenly, Snape remembered Dumbledore's words: Could it be that Wentworth was actually Voldemort in disguise?

It's worth noting that when Voldemort was still Tom Riddle, he was just as elegant as Wentworth is now, excelled in all subjects, and was deeply loved by his students and professors.

Could it be that he arrived early to make arrangements because Lily's child will be attending Hogwarts next year?

Thinking of this, Snape could no longer contain his anxiety and just hoped that the effect of the curse would wear off quickly so that he could go and tell Dumbledore immediately.

While Snape was being "punished" by being made to stand motionless in his office, Wentworth returned to the Hufflepuff common room.

Upon opening the door, Wentworth was surprised to find Cedric and the others waiting for him in Hufflepuff's common room.

As soon as Wentworth entered, Cedric and the others pulled him to sit on a comfortable sofa. Someone brought him fruit, and someone else brought him desserts. In an instant, Wentworth was surrounded by all kinds of delicious food.

Wentworth was flattered and thanked him repeatedly, but Kirk, the prefect, said dismissively:

"No need to thank me, you deserve it! You are hated by Professor Snape because of the sake of all of Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff will never forget those who help us, and they will never forget those who bring us delicious food!"

Chapter Thirty: Snape's Surprise

While Wentworth, Cedric, and the others were enjoying a meal in Hufflepuff's common room, Snape stood alone in his office, where a breeze occasionally blew in because the door was ajar.

Finally, when the spell wore off, Snape regained control of his body, and the first thing he did was:

"Achoo!"

Snape touched his nose; snot was almost dripping to his mouth. He wiped it away casually and quickly walked out of his office toward Dumbledore's office.

Upon arriving at Dumbledore's office, Dumbledore, still in his pajamas, looked at the anxious Snape with surprise and asked curiously:

"Severus, you don't look too good. What happened?"

Snape walked up to Dumbledore, stared intently into his eyes, and slowly said:

"Dumbledore, the one whose name cannot be spoken, is back!"

Upon hearing Snape's words, even Dumbledore was momentarily stunned and stood up abruptly.

"Severus, has he found you? Where is he?"

"Right here at Hogwarts, his name is now—Wentworth!"

Dumbledore: "..."

"Severus, I think you've made a mistake?"

Dumbledore said with a smile, then slowly sat back down.

Seeing that Dumbledore didn't seem to believe him, Snape anxiously recounted in detail what had happened that evening.

Hearing Snape's explanation, Dumbledore's smile gradually faded. After Snape finished speaking, Dumbledore remained silent for a while before finally saying:

“Severus, I will investigate this matter thoroughly, but Wentworth is definitely not Tom Riddle.”

Upon hearing Dumbledore's statement, Snape could no longer contain his anxiety and exclaimed:

"Dumbledore, how do you explain everything that happened tonight? Or did you orchestrate it all, deliberately letting him into Hogwarts, just a year before Lily's child is due to start school?"

"Why? Just because of that damned prophecy? He's just a child! You promised me, Dumbledore, you promised me you would protect him!"

Seeing Snape's emotions growing increasingly agitated, Dumbledore did not reprimand him until Snape had vented his frustrations, at which point Dumbledore slowly spoke:

"Believe me, Severus, I have never forgotten my promise. In fact, Wentworth's presence will make Harry Potter even safer."

Seeing the look of confusion in Snape's eyes, Dumbledore continued:

"Severus, Tom Riddle is known as the second Dark Lord, the most dangerous dark wizard in history, but in my opinion, he is far inferior to Gellert Grindelwald, who is known as the first Dark Lord."

"Tom Riddle, I don't deny his talent and power, but the reason he is called the most dangerous dark wizard in history is because he is good at creating panic. Even his subordinates call themselves Death Eaters."

"But before him, Gellert Grindelwald, known as the first Dark Lord, was truly difficult to deal with. They had their own code of conduct, and even later, they developed their own faith, calling themselves the Sorcerers."

"Therefore, when the Wizarding Wars broke out, and when Barty Crouch ordered an exception, allowing the Aurors to use the Unforgivable Charm to attack the Death Eaters first, the British Ministry of Magic alone fought the Death Eaters to a standstill."

"But Gellert Grindelwald and his Mujahideen party swept across Europe and America, if not... In short, compared to Gellert Grindelwald, Tom Riddle was just a guy with power but no brains."

After hearing Dumbledore's words, Snape never expected that Voldemort, whom he considered terrifying to the extreme, would be rated so low by Dumbledore.

But Snape couldn't help but ask:

"So, what does this have to do with what I was talking about tonight?"

Dumbledore looked intently at Snape and slowly said:

"Because Wentworth comes from the Grindelwald family, his name is Wentworth Grindelwald! The new leader of the Mutist Party!"

After hearing Dumbledore's words, Snape was stunned for a long time before Dumbledore pushed a letter in front of him.

Much of the letter was magically erased by Dumbledore, and what remained read:

During my recent travels around the world, I discovered that traces of UMNO activities have reappeared in many countries. You know, they had been dormant for many years, but now they have been awakened.

We once thought that as time went by, the UMNO wizards would grow old and disappear into history, but now it seems that we underestimated their faith. I have even discovered many young wizards who also call themselves UMNO members; they are all descendants of the first UMNO wizards.

This phenomenon may not be obvious in Britain yet. After all, when Tom Riddle became Voldemort, many descendants of the Bastards joined the Death Eaters. But in other parts of the world, the Bastards are much more powerful than we imagine.

I hope you can confirm as soon as possible whether Gellert is still in Nurmengard. We all went through that period and know how difficult he and his UMNO party are to deal with.

If Gellert is still in Nurmengard, then we have to admit one fact: the UMNO has found a successor to Gellert's will, a younger UMNO leader, who is preparing to lead them to a comeback!

"This letter is from Newt Scamander, a name I believe you are familiar with."
