As he spoke, Umbridge looked at Fudge beside him and said with fervent eyes:
"And the feat of annihilating so many dark wizards in one fell swoop was accomplished under the leadership of Minister Fudge! What an exciting achievement!"
At this point, Umbridge deliberately paused:
"But the premise is that Dumbledore cannot appear in London, otherwise, I'm afraid many ignorant wizards will take this as Dumbledore's achievement!"
Umbridge said meaningfully.
Chapter 114 The Malay Party and the Order of the Phoenix
Upon hearing Umbridge's words, Rufus Scrimgeour frowned instinctively, about to retort. After all, if Albus Dumbledore could come to London, it would greatly increase the Ministry of Magic's chances of victory.
Most importantly, the arrival of the undisputed number one wizard in the world will greatly boost the confidence of his Aurors!
However, before Rufus Scrimgeour could speak, Fudge, looking quite pleased with himself, said:
“How could you say that, Umbridge! I have the utmost respect for Albus, the greatest white wizard of all time! But I also believe that having Dumbledore hold off Grindelwald in Nurmengard is far more important than coming to London!”
Upon hearing Fudge's words, Rufus Scrimgeour had to swallow back what he was about to say, while Umbridge smiled broadly and said:
"You're right, Minister Fouché!"
Moments later, countless owls flew out of the British Ministry of Magic and headed to various parts of Europe.
At this moment, Dumbledore, inside Hogwarts, had just seen off the professors from the headmaster's office. Looking at the letters and potion bottles in the package in front of him, Dumbledore gently rubbed his eyes a few times, appearing somewhat tired.
Someone's in big trouble!
In the empty headmaster's office, Dumbledore spoke softly, though it was unclear who he was referring to.
Just then, an owl from the Ministry of Magic delivered Fudge's letter.
Dumbledore opened the letter and frowned deeply as he read Fudge's description of what was happening in London. But when he saw Fudge's final request, he suddenly smiled, then turned to his phoenix, Fawkes, and said:
"Therefore, making Fudge Minister of Magic is definitely a good idea!"
Dumbledore immediately took out some stationery and wrote several letters in succession. He then summoned Hagrid and asked him to send the letters out one by one by owl.
A moment later, Fawkes let out a phoenix cry, and Dumbledore and Fawkes disappeared from the Hogwarts Headmaster's office.
Neumont Castle, located in Austria.
Gellert Grindelwald, with his white hair, looked at Dumbledore's sudden arrival with a puzzled expression and said:
"Albus, did my child get into trouble at school? Are you here for a home visit?"
Albus Dumbledore: ...
Before Dumbledore could speak, Grindelwald chuckled softly.
"However, in any case, there is at least one advantage to Wentworth going to Hogwarts: you come here more often now."
Upon hearing Grindelwald's words, Dumbledore's face showed a hint of apology.
Dumbledore then recounted to Grindelwald everything that had happened at Wentworth during this period.
After listening to Dumbledore's story, Grindelwald suddenly laughed, but his laughter was full of disdain.
“Dumbledore, tell me, what kind of things has the old order you’ve been upholding been cultivating? I’m right here, yet they dare not come, instead they frequently target an eleven-year-old child.”
After saying that, Grindelwald shook his head, seemingly extremely disappointed with the current state of the wizarding world.
Dumbledore did not respond to Grindelwald's mockery, but simply said slowly:
“Gellert, I think your followers have already guessed who is behind all this. Given the madness of your followers, a massive war may once again sweep across the magical world.”
But Grindelwald waved his hand dismissively and said nonchalantly:
"Don't worry, Albus. Rozier isn't some brainless dark wizard. She'll quietly record everything and then make up for it all at the appropriate time, but not now. It will be after Wentworth has grown up."
"By then, the two of us will probably be having tea together at Merlin's place."
But then, Dumbledore told his old friend everything that was happening in London at that moment.
Upon hearing Dumbledore's account, Grindelwald did not respond; instead, he began to scrutinize Dumbledore before him.
"So, why are you here now?"
Dumbledore, however, replied with a feigned serious expression:
"I am here to look after you at the invitation of the British Minister for Magic, as the president of the International Wizarding Federation!"
The two stared at each other for a long time.
Suddenly, the two people inside the tower burst into laughter!
After laughing, Grindelwald looked at Dumbledore in front of him and said somewhat provocatively:
"Looks like you've been suspected, Dumbledore, and the person who's been suspected is the very one you put on the job of Minister for Magic. Your judgment of people has never been very accurate!"
At this point, Grindelwald paused, then added:
"Except for me."
Dumbledore, however, seemed completely unfazed. Instead, he sat down next to Grindelwald and, gazing at the scenery outside Nurmengard, slowly said:
"This is great, isn't it! It's been a long time since we've simply sat together and chatted like this."
Grindelwald shifted to the other side, then said with a disdainful look:
"Let me guess, who did you send to the scene to act as your informant? Was it that animal keeper again?"
When Grindelwald asked him a question, Dumbledore simply shook his head with a smile. Grindelwald then guessed a few more names, but Dumbledore rejected them all.
Finally, Dumbledore looked at Grindelwald in front of him and said with amusement:
"Inspired by you, I once founded a secret organization, which I named the Order of the Phoenix!"
"Before I came here, I sent letters to several members of the Order of the Phoenix. One of them will come to inform me before things get out of control."
Upon hearing Dumbledore's account, Grindelwald rolled his eyes several times and said dismissively:
"Then, will you descend upon me again like a savior? Just like you did to me before?"
But then Grindelwald laughed again and said sincerely:
"Albus Dumbledore, I've said it before: if we had joined forces back then, there wouldn't be so much strife in the wizarding world now. Just wait and see, the wizarding world, preoccupied with internal strife, will one day pay a heavy price for its stagnation!"
But Dumbledore waved his hand and said:
“No, Gellert, many of our ideas weren’t mature enough back then, and the timing wasn’t right either, we…”
However, Dumbledore was interrupted by Grindelwald before he could finish speaking.
"I don't want to discuss this with you anymore; it's pointless."
Then, Grindelwald changed the subject, staring at Dumbledore and saying:
"Albus, we're all getting old, and there will come a day when we leave. Have you ever thought about merging your Phoenix Society into my UMNO party?"
Chapter 115 For Grindelwald's Glory
Looking at Grindelwald before him, Dumbledore said with a profound meaning:
"Absolute power can sometimes lead to enormous chaos!"
Grindelwald, in turn, gazed into Dumbledore's eyes and responded with neither servility nor arrogance:
"But absolute power can end all chaos."
After that, the two stopped talking and instead sat side by side, quietly watching the scenery outside the window of Nurmengard.
Meanwhile, Fudge and Umbridge stood side by side in the Great Hall of the British Ministry of Magic, surrounded by countless Aurors who were on high alert.
Before Fudge, an Auror from the Ministry of Magic was reporting to him:
“Minister Fudge, a number of wizards of unknown origin have appeared around the Ministry of Magic, and they are slowly moving toward the Ministry.”
At this moment, in London, Abernathy was slowly walking through the streets of London, surrounded by buildings shrouded in black gauze.
Behind Abernathy were several other people. On one side was Rita Skeeter, with curly hair and glasses, and on the other side was Xenophilius Lovegood, holding his daughter Luna's hand.
As Abernathy strolled towards the British Ministry of Magic, Rita Skeeter's heart pounded in her throat! If the Ministry saw her walking with the Lich Party, she'd probably be stuck in Azkaban for the rest of her life!
So, Rita Skeeter could only ask, tremblingly:
"Lord Abernathy, what do you want us to do by bringing us here? My magic is terrible! Otherwise, I wouldn't be stuck being a reporter after graduation!"
On the other side, Xenophilius Lovegood nodded repeatedly in agreement, while Luna, whom he was holding tightly, looked on with curiosity.
Abernathy, walking ahead, responded without turning his head:
"Don't worry, I don't intend for you to fight for UMNO."
Upon hearing this, Rita Skeeter and Xenophilius Lovegood both breathed a sigh of relief.
But Abernathy went on to say:
"You are not qualified."
The two: ...
"I want you to record everything that happened today and then report it out so that the entire magical world knows what happened in London today. Any questions?"
Before the two could react, Abernathy casually pulled out two bags of Galleons, tossed one to each of them, and then vanished, leaving only the words:
"This is your royalties!"
With a loud popping sound, Abernathy appeared on the street directly above the British Ministry of Magic. Across from Abernathy stood Rufus Scrimgeour, with a row of Aurors holding wands behind him.
Upon seeing the sudden appearance of Abernathy, a young Auror standing behind Rufus Scrimgeour instinctively raised his wand.
But the next second, with a "snap," the wand in the young Auror's hand flew out.
Abernathy said without even looking:
"Young man, don't let your hand tremble as you hold your wand. Are Aurors these days unable to even hold their own wands properly?"
The young Auror's face instantly turned bright red.
