The previously suppressed fears finally erupted at this moment.

Izayoi Mirai watched Shiori venting her fear, her feelings were somewhat complicated. Because of Miku's matter, she was initially hostile to "Shido". She knew that the real threat was Takamiya Mio, not herself. Although the hostility was slight, it was indeed there.

However, after transferring to Raizen High School, or more precisely, trying to win him over as Shiori, the slight hostility dissipated.

His good looks are undeniable, but the key is Shiori's behavior during this time, which even made him feel like he was being turned gay. It's not that he didn't have feelings for her; Izayoi Mirai did indeed consider her a friend.

Therefore, seeing Shiori in her current state, he felt a surge of anger towards Kurumi.

Once Shiori's emotions had calmed down, Izayoi Mirai gently patted her back: "It's alright now."

Shiori Itsuka loosened her grip and discovered that Izayoi Mirai's wrist had several bluish marks from her grip.

She gently traced the marks with her fingers: "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, it's nothing to me."

Yosuke Mirai mobilized the magic power in his dantian. Under the cleansing power, the blue marks quickly faded and disappeared, and his skin returned to its previous whiteness. He said easily, "I am a magician."

Shiori smiled, smoothed her hair, glanced at the thugs not far away, and hesitated before speaking, "He..."

"She's fainted."

"That's good." Itsuka Shiori breathed a sigh of relief.

She was silent for a moment, then said softly, "In the future, why does Kurumi kill people?"

“You’ll have to ask her.” Yosuke Mirai shrugged. Of course he knew why, but he couldn’t explain the source of the information.

“But she’s in so much pain.” Itsuka Shiori recalled Kurumi’s smile from her memory, certain that she hadn’t misread it. “Both she and Mana are losing something. This can’t go on. I have to save her.”

"Even if it means death?" Izayoi Mirai looked at her.

"I won't fail." Itsuka Shiori smiled brightly, golden sunlight filtering through the gaps in the building and shining on her face, making her look exceptionally ethereal.

Her radiant skin glowed like jade in the sunlight, and she said firmly, "I will save all the elves."

"and--"

She smiled at Izayoi Mirai and asked, "Will you protect me?"

Izayoi Mirai honestly told her, "I can't beat Kurumi."

Shiori Itsuka's smile held a hint of reluctance: "Aren't you an elf too?"

Izayoi Mirai looked at her with sincere eyes: "I really can't beat her. You can't rely on me. You should find someone else."

Shiori Itsuka's eyes twitched. The atmosphere, which had been quite tense, was now completely ruined. She wished she could stab Izayoi Mirai a few times and make her pay for her girlish heart.

Izayoi Mirai secretly breathed a sigh of relief. That scene was too dangerous; she almost got turned gay.

Through the earphones, Kotori's voice was tinged with excitement: "Shiori, don't be fooled by him. This guy's affection level has crossed that line. Quickly find a way to complete the seal."

Now?

Shiori glanced at Izayoi Mirai, her heart pounding; she wasn't mentally prepared.

Kotori's urging voice came through the earphones again: "Hurry up, what if you fall again?"

You should at least have some confidence in my charm!

Shiori took a deep breath and walked up to Izayoi Mirai.

"future."

"Ok?"

She suddenly grabbed Yosuke Mirai's neck, pulled her down sharply, and pressed herself against him.

I'm not sleepy at all now (despair)

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Of course, the choice is to forgive her.

On Monday, after two days of holiday, everyone in the classroom looked completely exhausted, slumped listlessly on their desks. They could still muster their energy during class because of the teacher, but as soon as get out of class ended, they collapsed onto their desks, looking as tired as if every man (woman) in the entire city of Gong had been there all day.

The teacher sighed as get out of class ended. Holidays are supposed to be for students to rest and relieve the fatigue of the school year, but now they have become indulgence rather than relaxation, which is not a good thing.

Of course, there are exceptions.

At this moment, only a few heads stood in the classroom.

Izayoi Mirai is reading the "Enjue Sutra". Origami Tobiichi and Tohka Yatogami are huddled around Shiori Itsuka. The two are usually at odds, but they are actually secretly watching Shiori's reactions.

Shiori Itsuka seemed a little distracted, her gaze shifting between Kurumi Tokisaki and Mirai Izayoi. Yes, Kurumi, who had been killed in front of her by Mana Takamiya just two days ago, was back at school today. Although her love for knowledge was touching, wanting to go to school alone wouldn't make her come back to life.

However, because of Yoshou Mirai, she was not in the mood to ask.

She kissed him the day before yesterday, and then he started to dislike her.

Her phone was off, her email was blocked, and she couldn't contact him at all. Kotori reminded her that in that instant, Yosuke Mirai's favorability towards her dropped to a very low level, and now he wouldn't even acknowledge her when she tried to contact him at school.

But she clearly didn't kiss him; he pushed her away before she even touched him!

Why, why did it turn out like this...?

On Fraxinus, Kotori Itsuka was also puzzled. Even though their affection level had increased, he was still averse to kissing her. Wasn't that strange? He didn't seem to mind kissing her sister at all…

Left with no other choice, she could only instruct Shiori to try her best to regain favor. Sealing the spiritual power was not urgent; if the reason was not understood, even if the spiritual power was sealed, it would flow back due to emotional fluctuations.

However, looking at the mood value displayed on the screen in real time, Kotori noticed that it had risen quite a bit compared to the lowest point two days ago. After a day, had her anger subsided considerably?

"Shiori, set your sights on the newly emerged spirits, like that Tokisaki Kurumi."

Thinking of Kotori's words, Shiori glanced at Kurumi, who noticed her gaze and gave a cryptic smile, but she immediately looked away.

Kurumi thought she was surprised by her "resurrection," but that wasn't the case. Shiori's mind was in turmoil; she was preoccupied with Yosai Mirai and had no interest in conquering others.

Izayoi Mirai noticed Itsuka Shiori's gaze, but she didn't want to pay attention to her for the time being.

Admittedly, it was Itsuka Shiori's mission to win him over, and Izayoi Mirai had also mentally prepared herself for it. In the end, he was the one who offered himself up as bait. However, after so many days, he had come to regard Shiori as a friend.

I treated you as a friend, but you want to seduce me because of your own mission. I'm so angry!

Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Itsuka Shiori walk out of the door.

"Shiori, stop being so silly. You can't win anyone over in your current state."

On Fraxinus, Kotori Itsuka looked at Shiori's disappointed face on the tablet in her hand and began to doubt whether it was the right thing to do to let her win over Izayoi Mirai. Winning over Tohka wouldn't have caused so many problems. Is the influence of the opposite sex really that great?

"Don't stay there feeling sad. The Magician's favorability has improved quite a bit. Go apologize to him in a bit, and he should be able to calm down."

"Really?"

Shiori Itsuka was a little excited, but she immediately caught the attention of Tohka and Origami Tobiichi, who sat down next to her.

"I'm going to the toilet."

Shiori stood up and hurriedly went outside.

On the way, she asked excitedly, her voice trembling, "Kotori, you said the future affection level has been restored?"

"It's recovered a bit." Kotori Itsuka was a little jealous, but in order to appease her silly older sister and let her focus on conquering Kurumi, she patiently said, "Boys are easier to appease."

"But he keeps ignoring me."

"Keep at it, keep at it until he forgives you. It's just a kiss, it's not like you have any deep-seated hatred."

"Don't mention this." Shiori's face flushed slightly. She couldn't help but wave her little fist and turned to rush back to the classroom. "I'm going to apologize to him right now. I won't let go until he forgives me."

"Wait a minute!" Kotori called out to Shiori. It was break time, and if Shiori did this, the rumors would spread throughout the whole school tomorrow.

"There are too many people here now, and all the classmates are watching. It's easy for him to lose face. Wait until after school and talk to him privately."

"I understand." Shiori slowed her pace. "So what do we do now?"

Kotori sighed, wondering who was trying to seduce whom. "Go seduce Tokisaki Kurumi now, but be careful. She's different from other spirits. She's quite dangerous because she killed 10,000 people with her own hands."

Shiori paused for a moment, then clenched her fist and said firmly, "I will definitely save her."

"Whom to save?"

A sneer came from behind her. Shiori turned around and saw Tokisaki Kurumi standing behind her, her smile revealing a dangerous aura.

"Kurumi?" Itsuka Shiori exclaimed in surprise, "When did you get behind me?"

Kurumi Tokisaki asked, somewhat puzzled, "What just happened? What happened?"

"It's nothing." Itsuka Shiori breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that she hadn't heard it. She composed herself and said seriously, "Actually, you didn't want to kill anyone, did you? Weren't you happy on your date yesterday? Why did you still have to kill someone?"

You wouldn't understand.

Kurumi Tokisaki lowered her eyes and did not answer. She walked past Shiori Itsuka, smiling but with a cold tone in her voice: "If you insist on saving me, come to the rooftop at noon."

Izayoi Mirai twirled her pen, resting her chin on her left hand, looking completely idle. Origami Tobiichi sat in Shiori's seat, glaring at him angrily. Tohka, standing to the side, found it somewhat strange, but she remembered that Izayoi Mirai had given her soybean flour bread and was a good person, while Origami Tobiichi was the bad guy who had tried to steal Shiori from her.

So she sat down next to her, puffing out her cheeks and glaring at Origami Tobiichi with wide eyes, feeling that she was helping Mirai Yushou.

"What did you do to Shiori?"

"It's nothing." Izayoi Mirai glanced at Origami Tobiichi, then looked away with disinterest. His nonchalant attitude made Origami Tobiichi grit her teeth in anger. In her eyes, this man she considered her greatest enemy was expressing his disdain.

"you……"

Shiori walked in, and Izayoi Mirai frowned slightly because she came in with Tokisaki Kurumi.

On Fraxinus, Kotori Itsuka, seeing her favorability rating drop slightly, chuckled, "I didn't expect her to be such a tsundere."

Finally, we're going to get to Kurumi's part, although it'll only be one or two chapters at most. I'm probably the first author to have Kurumi appear for over ten chapters but only play a minor role.
