Izayoi Mirai shook off her hand and tapped Mami Tomoe on the head, saying, "Stop reading those messy books."

Mami chuckled foolishly. How could the always elegant and mature Mami possibly read what Izayoi Mirai was talking about? She was just very knowledgeable.

Izayoi Mirai glanced at the time and stood up: "Alright, I should go and appease my landlord. You can continue keeping watch here. Remember, let me know if there are any witches."

After receiving an affirmative answer, Izayoi Mirai took one last look at the two figures that seemed very close in the distance before heading towards the rented house.

It was nearly dusk.

When he arrived at his rented room, he didn't see anyone. His heart sank because he suddenly remembered that there were three ghosts in his room. Although they were tied up, no one could say for sure if something might happen.

But now it seems that something bad has already happened.

He rushed in, enveloped in a dense aura of ghostly energy; his fire line had clearly been broken.

Three demon heads emerged, staring at Youxiao Mirai. Their six pairs of eyes were bloodshot, filled with madness and killing intent. For some reason, they had merged, and their strength had become unprecedented. Now that they were enemies, they were extremely hostile and pounced on each other without saying a word.

A chilling aura filled the air, flames erupted from Yoyo Mirai's body, and she wielded her spear with ferocious speed, quickly suppressing the three demonic creatures.

They are still quite different.

A fierce wind blew up, and blazing flames swept across the sky, surrounding the fleeing ghost in the center. The flames crackled like oil in a pan, and a shrill scream echoed through the night sky, carrying far and wide. People around slammed their doors and windows shut and hid in their homes, trembling with fear.

When the flames died down and there were no more ghosts in the middle, Yosuke Mirai knew that this time the ghosts had been burned to death because his points had increased and he had finally returned to 2,900.

Upon entering the house, I found Miss Araki Ren lying unconscious in the hall. Judging from her appearance, she must have just run into the ghost that was breaking free of its restraints and trying to escape, which can be considered an undeserved misfortune.

Thinking that she wouldn't wake up anytime soon, and since it was already evening, she might even take a nap, Izayoi Mirai decided to summon Medea first.

He carried Araki Ren to the sofa and returned to his room to prepare for the final steps.

Practice makes perfect, not to mention that Izayoi Mirai has rubbed it countless times by hand.

The various body parts were already prepared; he only needed to make a few adjustments and then assemble them.

When the perfectly crafted doll was placed on the ground, Izayoi Mirai breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. She even squeezed the doll; its feel was perfect.

Next, it's time for the summoning.

He pressed the lucky charm, channeling magic into it and activating one magical node after another.

The most lengthy and complex incantation began to operate, drawing massive amounts of magic power from the future, and the slumbering souls within began to awaken.

For the first time, Yushou Mirai felt as if her body had been hollowed out, but the results were also gratifying. Soon, two phantom images began to appear in front of her.

Wait, two?

Looking at one of the smaller shadows, Izayoi Mirai finally remembered that Ilya's soul was also sleeping in the lucky charm.

Chapter Ten: You're celebrating too soon!

"Future Master?"

Medea opened her eyes, her mind still stuck on the moment when she was taken back into the Lucky Charm by Yoruichi, but she didn't sense the presence of the Throne of Heroes.

No, even Da Yuan's touch feels off.

Because the magic was entirely supplied by Illusionary Future, Medea restrained herself from trying it out, but that didn't diminish her joy—

There's no need to worry about returning to the Throne of Heroes and never seeing Izayoi again.

"Your Excellency from the future, you've succeeded?"

“Yes.” Izayoi Mirai nodded. “This is another world now. We’ll talk about the details later. You should try this body first, and I’ll fix anything that’s not right.”

Medea then noticed that there was another body lying next to her, with the same appearance and figure as her, the only flaw being that it was not wearing clothes.

Her face immediately turned red, and her semi-transparent body floated in front of Izayoi Mirai, waving her arms in an attempt to block his view: "Mirai-sama, what are you doing?!"

With a hint of pride, Izayoi Mirai said, "This is a body I specially prepared for you, made by my own hands. If there's anything you don't like, just let me know."

"No, big brother, that's not the point at all."

Ilya, who was watching the show from the sidelines, offered a sharp critique.

“Ilya.” Izayoi Mirai looked at her, her tone somewhat apologetic, “Because we don’t have enough funds, we can only do it for Medea first. I’ll do it for you tomorrow when I get the money.”

"Huh?"

Ilya glanced at Medea's naked body, paused, and looked somewhat awkward. "Isn't that unnecessary?"

"Future Lord, what are you thinking? I will create Ilya's body."

The body on the ground stirred, Medea sat up, and stretched out a hand to Izayoi Mirai.

Izayoi Mirai took out her own clothes from her personal storage space and handed them to her, asking, "Is there anything wrong?"

"good."

Medea pulled at her tight chest, then tore open her collar and wrapped herself in her coat. "It's just that this body's aptitude is too poor. It can only convert a little magic power, and even its perception of magic power in the atmosphere has decreased. Its combat power has dropped drastically."

"What modifications do you need? Tell me, I know your body well." Yuuyo Mirai patted her chest confidently.

"No need for that, I'll do it myself."

Medea tapped Izayoi Mirai's forehead, somewhat strangely sensing a faint hint of guilt in Mirai's slightly exaggerated words and actions.

Is it just my imagination? Or...?

She immediately felt guilty for her own thoughts. Taking a Servant away right under the nose of the Counter Force was something no one understood better than her, not to mention escaping from countless parallel planes. The Future Master must have gone through countless hardships to do this, yet the first thing she did when she woke up was to doubt him.

Medea looked somewhat downcast.

"What's wrong?" Izayoi Mirai patted her head.

"It's nothing." Medea immediately perked up and grabbed Izayoi Mirai's hand. "Lady Mirai, were there any enemies this time?"

“Yes.” Izayoi Mirai nodded. “It’s still quite tricky.”

"Then I will immediately find a way to improve our combat strength." Medea's tone was resolute. This was not only her mission, but also to make up for her earlier doubts about Izayoi's future. "I'm sorry, it's been a long time since we last met, and I cannot serve you for the time being."

“I’m not that driven by lust.” Yushou Mirai smiled. “Just like last time, let’s go to the bank and withdraw some money first. Medea, you can prioritize this plan.”

Medea nodded: "I understand."

Ilya was put back into the amulet, to be released later when Medea helps her make a new body. Izayoi Mirai carried her hollowed-out body out of the room, deciding not to disturb Medea's magic conversion.

He went downstairs, but happened to run into Araki Ren, who was tiptoeing up the stairs.

"Landlord, why be so cautious in your own house?"

Araki Ren was startled by Izayoi Mirai. After recognizing who it was, she said somewhat awkwardly, "I've already rented this to you, so consider it your private space for now. I don't want to disturb you."

"It seems that Miss Araki is a nice person."

Hearing Izayoi Mirai's words, Araki Ren nodded somewhat shyly, "Not at all, not at all."

Unexpectedly, Izayoi Mirai changed the subject: "But this is a haunted house, isn't it? It's not very kind of you, Ms. Araki, to rent it to me. The tenants have had quite a few accidents, haven't they?"

"I told you it was a haunted house, but you didn't believe me."

Araki Ren looked somewhat aggrieved, but renting out a haunted house to others was something she couldn't bring herself to do. "Besides, it's really just a rumor about it being haunted. The previous tenants just got healthier and healthier. Who knew, who knew..."

She couldn't help but tremble as she recalled the three ghostly creatures she had encountered that day.

"It's alright, Miss Araki, you don't need to be afraid. I've already gotten rid of that demon."

"Eliminated?"

Araki Ren looked at Yushou Mirai with some disbelief. As the saying goes, "a young man's words are unreliable," and a young appearance can easily arouse distrust.

"Otherwise, why do you think I would dare to rent a house with ghost rumors? I am a lay Buddhist who practices at home." As Yoshou Mirai spoke, she activated her magic, and the Sanskrit characters engraved on her body emitted a faint golden light, making Yoshou Mirai appear more dignified and serene, which greatly enhanced her credibility.

Seeing the Buddha's light emanating from Izayoi Mirai, Araki Ren was momentarily lost in thought, as if she remembered something. However, she quickly shook her head to dispel the strange feeling. The fear she had felt upon seeing the ghost vanished, replaced by joy.

After all, nobody wants to be targeted by a ghost, and besides, once the ghost is exorcised, her rent can return to a normal level.

"Ahem, don't get too excited." Izayoi Mirai coughed, reminding Araki Ren, "These ghosts aren't so easy to catch. The reason this house was in such a state before was because of the ghost-catching incident. Look at the compensation..."

Araki Ren gritted his teeth, thinking that if he were to hire a master to exorcise the ghost, the cost would probably be even higher, so he waved his hand and said, "No need, I'll pay for it myself."

“You’re a very straightforward person, benefactor.” Youxiao Mirai rubbed her hands together. “Then let’s talk about the exorcism fee.”

Araki Ren's eyes widened: "Isn't waiving the compensation enough?"

Yushou Mirai frowned: "Didn't you say you'd pay for it yourself?"

Although he fooled Araki Ren, he did help her exorcise the ghost.

Araki Ren thought for a moment, not really daring to offend a high-ranking monk who could subdue ghosts and monsters, and said, "Then I'll pay the market price, but you have to fix the house for me."

“Sure.” Mirai Yushou readily agreed. Medea’s recovery might require buying some strange and unusual things, so at least there would be some income.

At that moment, Medea came out. As soon as she stepped out of the room, she saw a woman take out money and hand it to her Master. The outside world was in such chaos that it looked like a great battle had just taken place.

I went back and looked at it again, and I feel that the descriptions of the battle scenes have deteriorated significantly. It's time to work on them.

Illya doesn't seem to have much of a presence, even though the four seasons of "Mahoutii" were the first works related to Type-Moon that I encountered.

Chapter Eleven: Medea, Unrivaled in Close Combat

The next day, it wasn't until ten o'clock in the morning, when sunlight streamed through the broken windows and door, that Araki Ren, sitting on the sofa, fluttered her eyelashes and woke up. She had stayed here the night before, but in the middle of the night, another ghostly incident occurred, and she was too afraid to go home alone. Moreover, the mercenary "high monk" Yosai Mirai was unwilling to escort her, so she had no choice but to stay here for the night.

Although the place was drafty, being intimidated by Izayoi Mirai gave him a strange sense of security. As for the other aspect of security, there was even less to worry about, since his wife was here.

Did they go to work?
