"Just think of it as a competitive relationship. I belong to different organizations as well as Kewpie, so naturally I have to stop him from boosting his performance."

Sayaka was so shocked by such a societal reason that she was speechless for a long time before finally saying, "Can't you guys have some kind of fair competition?"

Yushou Mirai sneered, "This kind of organization that drags girls who are only ten years old to fight against witches is an evil sect. There's no need to talk to them about chivalry."

He looked at Sayaka and said, "Is this wish really that tempting? Think about what happened to you just now. If you hadn't encountered a wild witch at my doorstep, would you still have the chance to drink tea here now?"

Aside from healing Kyosuke's hand, do you have any other wishes you'd be willing to risk your life for? Not to mention Madoka, she probably doesn't even know what she wants anymore, right? The fact that you've hesitated for so long without deciding whether to sign the contract already indicates your inclination.

Sayaka lowered her head and said, "I can't guarantee that Madoka won't sign the contract; it's up to her to decide."

“My requirements aren’t that demanding. You just need to find a way to stop her when she has this idea.”

Izayoi Mirai pulled out a parchment scroll covered in writing, shimmering with magical light. "This is a contract that will guarantee our transaction proceeds smoothly. Furthermore, the specific details of our transaction cannot be disclosed. If you have no objections, please sign it."

Sayaka took the parchment and looked it over, pretending she could understand it, and then signed her name as instructed by Izayoi Mirai.

The parchment transformed into two streams of light that disappeared into the space between the two women's eyebrows. Sayaka was startled, but Mirai Izayoi comforted her, saying, "Don't worry, it's just using magic to ensure the fairness of our transaction."

The two returned to the living room, where Mami Tomoe and Madoka looked at them with great curiosity: "What deal did you make?"

Sayaka was just thinking about it when a force clearly stopped her from revealing the details. Izayoi Mirai smiled and said, "It's not some strange deal, why are you so curious?"

By this time, Medea had already prepared the meal, and the five of them went to eat together. Izayoi Mirai looked at the steaming dishes, then glanced at Kyubey next to her, her gaze somewhat strange: "Isn't Kyubey eating?"

"I don't need to eat."

As Cupid's voice resonated in everyone's hearts, Medea's gaze toward him instantly turned to one of anatomical desire.

Youxiao Mirai took out a bottle of water from her personal space and poured some for Kyubey: "Even if you don't eat, you should still drink some water."

Kyubey glanced at Izayoi Mirai's gentle gaze, and ultimately lowered his head to drink water. In his judgment, it wasn't worth arguing with Izayoi Mirai over such a trivial matter.

As Izayoi ate her meal, she would occasionally glance at Kyubey, but she didn't see any changes. Was it ineffective? Or was it that even if he turned into a female, I wouldn't be able to tell?

After finishing his meal, he picked up Cupid and said to them, "How about I borrow Cupid for a bit? I have some questions for him."

Mami said to him with some concern, "Then you can't do anything strange to Kyubey, you can't be like those witches."

"Don't worry, he won't. He's not worth doing that."

Yuuyo Mirai waved her hand, and several beautiful cats darted out, each coming to the three girls and meowing affectionately, letting them pet them.

No one can resist the allure of petting a cat. With the cat's deliberate attempts to please them, the three girls quickly forgot about Kyubey and focused on petting the cat.

Izayoi Mirai smiled slightly. Of course, he wouldn't say that these cats were his familiars. When Mami Tomoe and the others were identified as intruders, these adorable cats were lurking in the shadows, looking for an opportunity to kill them in one blow.

Cats are the best hunters.

"So, what do you want to talk to me about?" Upon entering the room, Izayoi Mirai habitually activated the soundproof barrier. Kyubey wagged its tail and watched him. "Have you finally decided to sign a contract with me?"

“Kyubi, you don’t need to pretend. I know the truth about the Incubators, magical girls, and witches, and everything you’ve done since you came to Earth.”

“Then you should be well aware of the greatness of our mission.” Kyubey remained as harmless as ever. “Don’t you intend to contribute to slowing down the cosmic cycle of life?”

"Why should I be the one to sacrifice, and not you?" Izayoi Mirai's gaze turned cold. "Even the human race might not survive until the heat death of the universe, so why should we sacrifice ourselves?"

His voice was tinged with anger: "Why shouldn't it be you who sacrifice yourselves?"

Cupid's voice was completely flat:

"Our sacrifices are meaningless. We have developed a technology to convert emotions into energy, but we have no emotions. Only humans can convert the energy of emotions into energy through our technology, which is greater than the energy needed to maintain the biochemical reactions of the brain. And girls in their secondary sexual stage are the most efficient. That's why we started creating magical girls and using their energy in times of despair to prolong the universe."

Just like you raise livestock, we also raise you. Why can't you accept being raised? Actually, you should thank us; we have promoted the prosperity of humankind.

"So, would you be willing to become domesticated livestock?"

"It seems you don't have that ability right now, but if you can continue to exist, being kept as pets isn't a big deal."

"Then you shall save the universe yourselves."

"I said..."

Kyubey was interrupted by Izayoi Mirai, who took out a homunculus from his personal space and placed it in front of Kyubey: "First, you need to become human and enter this body. It's easy for someone like you who can separate a human soul into a Soul Gem, right?"

"But what's the point? To enter this fragile, easily dying body."

"Chubi, do you know where human emotions come from?"

Without waiting for Kyubey's answer, Izayoi Mirai continued, "Whether it comes from the body or the soul is currently inconclusive, but without exception, the regulation of human hormones can affect a person's emotions."

He laid out a row of syringes, each labeled with a long list of names attached to a white strip of paper:

Estrogen, thyroid hormones, adrenaline, insulin...

Izayoi Mirai extended her hand, gesturing for him to come: "Whether what I'm saying is true or not, you'll know once you experience it for yourself."

Chapter Twenty-Two: Let Me Explain

With a "thud," Kyubey's body collapsed onto the table and bed, and the girl opened her bewildered eyes.

Yoyo Mirai picked up a syringe labeled with thyroxine, inserted it into Kewpie's vein, and injected a full 150 milliliters into the vein.

After a while, Qubi's breathing became rapid, and her body began to tremble. She had an urge to tear something apart, a feeling she had never experienced before. As incubators, they were absolutely rational, but now, that rationality was crumbling, and she was trying to suppress the physical urge.

Yoyo Mirai's hand gripped her like an iron clamp, immobilizing her. A calm voice rang out, explaining unhurriedly: "Excessive secretion of thyroid hormones can cause tension, irritability, and nervousness. It can also lead to insomnia and indigestion, resulting in rapid weight loss. This is a disease called hyperthyroidism."

Then, another needle pierced her skin, and the cold liquid slightly relieved her fever:

"Insulin consumes blood sugar, so excessive secretion can lead to low blood sugar, causing dizziness, weakness, and anxiety."

Qubi's mother's body became weaker, and it seemed that even the slightest movement was strenuous, but her mental excitement did not disappear. On the contrary, it was amplified by the tension.

Yosuke Mirai showed no mercy, plunging needle after needle into her body, completely disregarding the damage these excessive hormones would cause to her body and the mental torment suffered by Kyubey-chan.

Serotonin, which calms the mind; adrenaline, which excites the body; oxytocin, which relaxes the mind; and melatonin, which enhances endurance...

Various conflicting emotions kept shifting in her mind, as if she had suddenly split into several different Cupids, each with a different personality. Her body was also filled with negative states such as nausea and dizziness. Excess hormones caused her electrolyte imbalance, cold sweat seeped from her body, and she would twitch once or twice from time to time.

Youxiao Mirai took out the last tube of hormones and slowly inserted it into her meridians: "The teenage girls you have been looking for are just those who are entering their first love. Under the regulation of various hormones, they are more likely to be curious about the opposite sex. The new feelings they have never experienced before conflict with their still-developing thoughts and personalities, making them more sensitive and fragile, and more easily hurt by emotions. This is the emotional change that you have been taking advantage of."

He pushed the liquid in the syringe to the end; it contained a mixture of various sex hormones, designed to induce estrus.

"Now, you can experience what it feels like to be the innocent girl you've deceived."

Qubi's mother began to feel hot all over, a feeling completely different from when she was injected with thyroid hormone. Her mind also began to become unclear, as if it were on fire. Her mouth became dry and her heart was pounding. She wanted to grab onto something, preferably something cold, to cool her down.

Cupid knew very well that she was in heat. As an incubator, she had seen this scene many times, but her constant rationality made her unable to understand the protagonist's various behaviors. It was nothing more than to reproduce offspring, so why did it lead to various consequences that were detrimental to reproduction?

She still doesn't understand, but she can roughly grasp how those female protagonists feel when they're in heat.

Izayoi Mirai looked at Kyubey-chan writhing on the bed, panting heavily, and smiled wickedly before pulling out...

Canned herring!

Using a barrier to separate Kewpie and the herring can from the other spaces, a small opening was made to release a cluster of flames, which was then quickly sealed off.

The flames slowly burned through the lid of the can, and in an instant, the smell of cooked excrement filled the nose of Kewpie's mother.

She was still panting when she almost passed out. The physical disgust combined with the debuffs all over her body made her unable to hold back and vomit while holding onto the bed. Her empty stomach could only vomit bile, and she kept choking on herself.

Izayoi Mirai looked a little disgusted, but the thought that this was revenge made her feel much better. At that moment, the door opened, and Izayoi Mirai's smile froze. It was obvious who was behind the person who could open this room.

Wait, looking at her like this, a chill ran down my neck.

Medea came to find Izayoi Mirai. She knew that Izayoi Mirai had brought Kyubey here. After washing the dishes, she couldn't wait to come and study Kyubey. This creature that could communicate with people's minds intrigued her. But as soon as she opened the door, she saw Izayoi Mirai standing by the bed with a smile on her face, and a pretty little girl lying on the bed.

Although the scent was blocked by the barrier, the expression on her face clearly showed that she was aroused, and a clear liquid dripped from the corner of her mouth. At this height...

Medea squinted and compared the waist of Yosui Mirai with the height of the girl's head when she sat up. Suddenly, her dress fluttered without wind, and a strange dagger appeared in her hand.

Mirai Izayoi turned around and said sincerely, "Medea, I can explain."

After briefly recounting the story of Kyubey and the magical girl, and explaining what she was doing, Medea said she believed Izayoi Mirai's explanation, since he was still wearing his pants and there was no tent in his pants.

However, she couldn't quite understand Cupid's current situation.

"Is that box of food really that powerful?"

She was somewhat incredulous, and with a wave of her hand, she dispelled the barrier.

A strong odor wafted over, and Yosuke Mirai's expression changed almost instantly. She waved her hand to blow away the stench, and Medea frowned: "This smell... is really not good."

Why does Medea seem so experienced and knowledgeable?

Suddenly, Izayoi Mirai felt something was wrong and dared not think any further.

"Is this the method you've found?"

Kyubey on the ground suddenly stood up and stared at the Kyubey girl on the bed who was still convulsing. "This is indeed an unexpected result, but in terms of conversion efficiency, it should not be as good as magical girls."

How will you know if you don't try?

Izayoi Mirai looked at the new Kyubey and said, "And you also consider aptitude, don't you? Like Madoka, her causal entanglement is great, so her aptitude is also excellent. What could be more causal entanglement than the Kyubeys who have guided the history of human development and signed countless magical girls?"

Kyubey looked up at Izayoi Mirai and said, "As expected, you guessed her origins. She's the magical girl who made a contract with 'me.' But why don't I wait for her to reset the world lines a few more times? Not only can she be reused, but Madoka's potential will eventually surpass everyone else's."

"You won't have that chance."

Yoyo Mirai's eyes were indifferent. "If you do that, I'll kill them both."

Cupid was puzzled: "Why? Why did you go to such lengths? What is your purpose?"

"That's none of your business."

The first round of negotiations between the two sides reached a stalemate.
