Because the two were standing too close, Yushou Mirai was also accidentally injured. His limbs and torso were covered in wounds, with several large holes, but he was completely unaware of it. The next moment, he put away all his weapons. Instantly, the blood of the two gushed out like a fountain, mixing together and making it impossible to tell whose blood it was.

Izayoi Mirai twisted off the fake's head, but three fingers were also pierced into his own heart, and most of the muscle on his heart rotted away.

"This really looks like they're going to die together."

Yuuyo Mirai fell to the ground, and in just a few seconds, life and death were decided. But this was not the most serious injury. The technique that exceeded his limits was the most fatal. His body was collapsing.

Yoruichi immediately destroyed the framework that formed the Second Guild. The resulting barrier backfired, worsening his injuries. Flames were repairing his body, a mutation originating from Kotori. Ultimately, it retained some healing properties, and the healing spells were constantly running, healing his body that was on the verge of collapse.

Just then, a sharp whistling sound came from overhead. Seeing their intended companion killed, the witches angrily swooped down, ready to tear him to pieces.

"This is really terrible."

With her magic depleted, Izayoi Mirai gave a bitter smile. Shouldn't there be a happy ending after overcoming herself? What kind of terrible screenwriter is this?

Just then, something within him was triggered; the fake he had killed merged entirely into his body, and crimson flames shot into the sky.

Among the six realms, there is one that loves beautiful women, fine wine, and fighting; it is unruly, brave, and skilled in battle, with strength surpassing that of ghosts and gods; it is called Asura.

He charged towards the horde of witches, a knife in his left hand and a gun in his right.

……

"What's going on? Medea hasn't made a sound at all. Could something have happened to her?"

After a hard-fought battle, Izayoi Mirai finally defeated the witches and emerged from the mouth of the final boss. Along the way, he kept activating the coordinates given to him by Medea, but there was no response, which made him very worried.

Could it be that Medea also had a challenge to overcome herself?

Having finally crawled out of the witch's body, Izayoi Mirai found herself on the ground. The witch hadn't made a sound, and at this moment, she had no interest in whether she was dead or alive. The most important thing now was Medea.

Soon, he found Medea lying on the ground not far away, covered in wounds.

Medea!

He ran over, hugged her, and cast a healing spell on her.

puff-

A sharp pain shot through her abdomen as a strangely shaped dagger pierced through Mirai Izayoi's lower abdomen. Medea opened her eyes, her beautiful pupils filled with madness.

Asura and Shura have opposite meanings, but in China, Shura is generally a simplified version of Asura and is used with the original meaning. In the following text, I will treat both Asura and Shura as the same thing.

Chapter Thirty-Seven: I'll Get My Revenge Sooner or Later

After killing the man who looked exactly like her, Medea had a rather long dream. In the dream, Izayoi Mirai was with several women, some familiar and some unfamiliar, while Medea, heavily pregnant, was abandoned by Izayoi Mirai.

"I'm no longer interested in you."

So said Izayoi Mirai.

In despair, Medea pulled out her Noble Phantasm and thrust it into Izayoi Mirai's body.

Warm blood dripped onto Medea's body, and the orange flames dispelled the darkness in her consciousness. Medea opened her eyes and saw the heavily injured Izayoi Mirai before her. Blood gushed from his chest, abdomen, and back, soaking his clothes, making him look like a blood-soaked figure.

"Future Master..."

Medea lost her voice, finally waking up from her previous dream. Her excellent magical skills allowed her to immediately distinguish between illusion and reality, and she knew clearly what she had done.

She severely injured Yoruichi Mirai.

She trembled as she wove a healing spell, using it in conjunction with a lucky charm to heal Mirai's wounds, for she herself was utterly devoid of magic.

"I'm sorry, I..."

Medea's voice choked with emotion, and glistening tears fell, wetting Yosuke Mirai's hand.

"Why are you crying? It's just an injury. I'm used to it."

Yosuke Mirai smirked. Medea's Noble Phantasm, [Symbol of All Laws], was indeed his greatest nemesis. Although the dagger itself could not hurt anyone, its effect destroyed the spells all over his body, especially the Vajra World Mandala painted on his upper body.

That was just a hastily erected frame, which Medea had personally copied and tattooed onto him bit by bit. After being nurtured and refined day and night, it had long since become one with him. Suddenly, the entire spell collapsed, almost taking half of his body with it.

It seems we need to make progress faster.

Yushou Mirai felt a chill run down her spine. The resentment in Medea's eyes just now was truly shocking. Even a fool could guess what the cause was. She didn't have the confidence to keep it a secret forever. If she couldn't even withstand a single stab, what if Medea's anger hadn't subsided? Wouldn't she really be doomed?

It will withstand at least a few more blows.

Thanks to Medea's generous use of magic to heal her, Izayoi Mirai was much better. He shook the blood off his hands and patted her head: "It's alright, don't cry. It's not your fault."

"No, this is my fault."

Medea's eyes filled with tears. "Even in the illusion, I was the one who stabbed you. I am not worthy to be your servant."

"It's nothing, it's just a stab. If you feel bad about it, I'll stab you back in a few days, and maybe I'll bleed a lot too."

Izayoi Mirai tried to ease the tension by making a lewd joke, but Medea, who was deeply mired in self-reproach, seemed oblivious. Instead, she knelt down in front of Izayoi Mirai with a serious expression and offered up her Noble Phantasm with both hands.

"Even so, it is not enough to atone for my sins..."

What are you thinking!

Izayoi Mirai tapped her head. Medea's body was made using magic, and apart from her soul, it could be considered an artificial life form. With this one cut, she would be gone.

Although she wouldn't die, Izayoi Mirai still couldn't bring herself to do it.

He pushed the talisman that could break all spells back: "Actually, what I regret most is not the Vajra Realm's spells, but the contract between us."

Yosuke sighed. Their master-servant contract had never been broken. In theory, a servant belongs to his master. Although he didn't have any Command Seals, this contract satisfied his small possessive desires, which meant that Medea belonged to him.

Unfortunately, the contract that continues to this day was also destroyed by that one strike.

“We can sign it again.”

Medea grabbed Izayoi Mirai's hand, as if afraid of being left behind, "Whether it's a master-servant contract, a familiar contract, or a master-servant contract..."

"Stop." Izayoi Mirai tapped Medea's cherry lips with her index finger and touched her face. "Don't rush. We'll talk about the contract later. Let's go check on Mami and the others first. They might have another version of themselves appearing, just like us."

Medea bit her lip:

"Yes."

Izayoi Mirai stood up. Thanks to Medea's treatment, his injuries had mostly healed, however—

"I need some more magic."

……

Mirai Izayoi, along with Medea, searched for Mami and the others. With magic as fuel, Mirai Izayoi captured all the witches she encountered along the way to replenish her magic, just like the previous "Mirai Izayoi".

After absorbing his own counterfeit, his talent evolved from [Stealing] to [Plundering], allowing him to plunder magic from witches, while the Purifying Fire burns constantly to purify the curses within.

"Fearless, Vajra, Serpent, Heaven-Defying, Top Sutra, King Manifestation!"

A solemn voice rang out, and six static barriers unfolded layer by layer, like lotus flowers blooming and falling.

The flimsy barrier around Araki Ren was crushed before it could even be fully deployed, a laughable display of skill and akin to trying to teach a fish to swim.

The monk's eyes remained unmoved, unshaken by the transgression of killing. He had seen death countless times and his hands were stained with blood.

His fingers, like an eagle's beak, pecked at Araki Ren's forehead, and in the next instant, he would kill her with his fingers.

scoff-

A sword suddenly thrust out from the side, slaying the monk with a distressed expression. The wounded Araki Ren collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, his tattered clothes dripping with blood.

"I was almost killed, Master's wife, you're too late."

Youxiao Mirai tossed her a piece of clothing and draped it over her shoulders: "I'm already doing a good job of coming. Who do you think I'm facing? The more talented someone is, the harder it is to defeat yourself, okay?"

Araki Ren laughed and said, "It's rare to see you so narcissistic, Master's wife. Could it be that you've mastered your divine skills?"

Izayoi Mirai snorted twice: "Not nearly there. Let's go find someone else."

"At least let me rest for a while."

Araki Ren sat on the ground, not wanting to get up, but seeing Izayoi Mirai walking away into the distance, she gritted her teeth and followed.

Sakura Kyoko nearly had her Soul Gem shattered, but at the last second, Izayoi Mirai arrived and saved her.

Faced with Izayoi Mirai's help, she seemed quite awkward, hesitating for a long time before finally mustering her courage to thank him:

"Thank you."

It does look rather cute.

In the distance, Homura Akemi was walking this way; it seemed she hadn't encountered Enma.

Izayoi Mirai called out loudly, "Have you seen Mami?"

Homura Akemi shook her head.

Mirai Izayoi's eyes were full of worry. Of all the people, he was most worried about Mami Tomoe. Although she seemed strong, she was actually fragile inside. In the original work, she even killed Sayaka after learning the truth.

"The magical reaction over there is more active."

Medea pointed eastward.

"Hurry up and go there." Yuuyo Mirai led a few people and rushed over.

"Hopefully it's not too late."
