Full-Time Magister: Dark Lord

The Star-Sense Stone looks a bit like a black pebble, about the size of a watermelon, and is currently being dragged along the front of the training field by a stone block.

This star-sensing stone is the most important instrument for students' assessment.

The annual assessment is really simple. Just like the awakening ceremony, students only need to place their palms on this huge star-sensing stone, and the examiners can immediately judge the students' cultivation progress over the year by the brightness of the star-sensing stone.

Just like the college entrance examination, students' fates can very well be decided by this one piece of paper. There are similar hard and fast rules in this world: either continue studying and gain better opportunities, or pack up and leave to find another way out...

In this world, the difference between becoming a magician and an ordinary worker is like heaven and earth.

Even if a magician's talent and strength are lacking, their income is still far beyond what ordinary people can compare to.

Before the test began, their homeroom teacher, Xue Musheng, was constantly there encouraging and cheering them on.

The reason for such enthusiasm is naturally because this test is also related to his bonus and benefits.

Otherwise, what's there to get excited about when students test their teachers?

The assessment began after the three school leaders and examiners arrived.

The opening ceremony, of course, consisted of speeches from the principal and board members, which were, in essence, a bunch of useless drivel, just rambling on and on...

When Mu He stepped onto the stage, he passionately described the future to the students...

His speech was full of expectations for the younger generation, but anyone with a brain could see that it was just empty talk.

"Today is also a very special day."

"Because we have invited the most outstanding female mage in our Bo City. She was admitted to the Imperial Capital Magic Academy at the age of fifteen, and I think many of you have already heard of her legend... That's right, she is Mu Ningxue! Let's welcome this magical genius who should have been in the same year as you, but has already been admitted to university!" Mu He said loudly.

As Mu He finished speaking, everyone applauded in celebration.

Moreover, there was much discussion among the crowd...

Mu Ningxue, as the daughter of the local tyrant of Bocheng, is quite popular.

It's a pity that such a good cabbage was kissed by a pig. Although it's not a big deal for children to touch lips, Cao Le felt very awkward after hearing Mo Fan's veiled explanation.

Actually, what bothered him was that he had absolutely no chance to get to know the other person...

Mo Gouzi got all the luck; if he were given a chance, he wouldn't stand a chance!

After seeing Mu Ningxue, Zhang Xiaohou displayed his sycophantic behavior without reservation.

Of course, he simply appreciated beauty; after all, in his mind, Mo Fan and Mu Ningxue were related.

Zhang Xiaohou excitedly told Mo Fan where Mu Ningxue was, but Mo Fan didn't get excited at all; instead, he was a little worried.

In fact, he had intended to secretly kiss Mu Ningxue, but unfortunately, due to various reasons, he never managed to do so.

And in the end, he proudly announced it to the whole world. If Mu Ningxue knew about it, she would probably freeze him into an ice pop.

After Mu Ningxue took the stage, she said a few simple words, which were basically wishing everyone good grades and a good school in the future.

Then a group of hormone-fueled men started praising it, making it seem as if they could all get into the capital's top universities!

The Imperial Capital Academy is naturally the best magic university in the country. For a city like Bocheng, it's already quite remarkable if they can get a few students admitted each year.

It was also because of Mu Ningxue's appearance that all the old grudges between Mo Fan and Mu Bai, as well as Mu Bai's lackey Zhao Kunsan, were suddenly unleashed...

Cao Le simply watched them quietly as they made their commotion.

To be honest, he just didn't have the chance back then, otherwise, he would have been the one hated.

"Alright, stop shouting. The assessment is now starting. Anyone who makes a disturbance again will be disqualified!" The bald examiner's imposing figure instantly silenced the argument.

Annual performance reviews have officially begun!

The entire school's thirty classes will participate simultaneously as before.

The testing process is actually very simple. Under the watchful eyes of everyone and the examiners, you place your hand on the Star Sensing Stone, concentrate your mind, and enter a meditative state. At this time, the Star Sensing Stone will emit the same light according to the strength of the stardust radiance of the person being tested, and the level of cultivation is judged by the light.

Everyone has three chances, and the brightest one will be the final result.

The first person to go up in their class was a delicate-looking girl. Although she had practiced very diligently, she clearly lacked confidence. Looking at her nervous appearance, anyone who didn't know better would really think she was going to be expelled.

When the judges gave her an "A" grade, many of the boys who had previously felt sorry for her immediately started cursing and swearing.

"Holy crap! An A! That's the standard for getting into the top class!"

"This is unbelievable! She was crying and sobbing before the exam, and we all thought she was really on the verge of being expelled. But when the exam came out, she got an A!!"

"Magic bitch, a typical magician whore, I'll never trust her again."

"..."

The homeroom teacher, Xue Musheng, froze for a moment. He had been fooled by a female student's mindless cuteness. However, he was still happy that she got an A on the first assessment.

Cao Le looked at He Yu and muttered, "This little girl is quite diligent, but she just lacks confidence."

It's unclear whether he said it casually or specifically to Zhang Xiaohou or Mo Fan in front of him...

......

13. Assessment

After He Yu, there were even students who achieved a D grade...

"Next, is there a test required?" the bald examiner asked He Yu.

"No, teacher, I've only managed to control the sixth star..." He Yu hurriedly shook his head and said.

"Well, we will decide your class placement based on the evaluations of your other teachers," the bald examiner said.

After He Yu went down, it was Zhang Xiaohou's turn. He successfully controlled seven stars. However, there was still a possibility of failure when releasing them, but compared to the many people in the class who were still hovering around five or six stars, he was already much better.

And the grade was "A+".

Zhang Xiaohou was somewhat taken aback by this...

However, this is actually normal. After all, not everyone who masters seven stars can immediately unleash magic. Of course, those with exceptional talent simply have superior innate abilities, giving them a head start over others, nothing more.

After Zhang Xiaohou, nothing else stood out. However, when it was Mu Bai's turn, Mu He also came to inspect the place with Mu Zhuoyun and others.

To be fair, Mu He wasn't entirely a dog to the end. At least towards Mu Bai, he might have shown a sliver of human compassion.

Perhaps it's because it's not yet time for Mubai to be pushed into the Black Vatican...

Many students seemed quite excited when they saw them arrive. They seemed to think that as long as they performed well, they could gain the favor of Mu Zhuoyun, the local tyrant of Bocheng.

If he becomes a promising young genius favored by Mu Zhuoyun, he might have the opportunity to meet a goddess like Mu Ningxue.

In short, a salted fish without dreams is never a good salted fish.

After all, they were mostly children from ordinary families, how would they know about these family rules...

Mu Bai's assessment began, and Guangmang immediately rated him "S!"

After his release, Mu Bai reached Rank B!

Currently, Mu Bai is almost always ahead of Xu Zhaoting, becoming the school's number one for a short period.

"Next up, Mo Fan!"

While people marveled at Mu Bai's magnificent victory, it was finally Mo Fan's turn.

Actually, Mo Fan wasn't supposed to be there yet, but it was all part of a pre-arranged plan.

Mu Zhuoyun felt that the name Mo Fan was somewhat familiar, but he couldn't remember who he was.

However, after Mu He reminded him, Mu Zhuoyun's expression immediately turned unfriendly.

Isn't that toad the little brat who tried to kidnap my daughter and run away from home?

Mu Zhuoyun glanced at Mu Ningxue, only to find that she had no intention of looking at the other person at all.

He finally breathed a slight sigh of relief.

A hint of satisfaction appeared in Mu Zhuoyun's eyes.

Children will always have times when they are immature and rebellious, but they will become less naive as they grow up.

After Mo Fan began the assessment, a wisp of flame ignited. Of course, it was very faint...

Such brilliance is enough to earn him a grade of "B"!

But in Mu Zhuoyun's eyes, it was far too ordinary. Having absolutely no desire to watch any further, Mu Ningxue immediately turned and left.

"No, this light is wrong!"

But just then, someone suddenly raised a question.

This is a woman's voice, soft, pleasant, sexy, and mature.

"Teacher Tang Yue, do you have any objections to this judgment? Logically speaking, the exam is determined by the examiners, so even if we have objections..." Xue Musheng asked.

Xue Musheng was actually extremely satisfied with this result. He even suspected that there was something wrong with the Star Sensing Stone, otherwise why would it give Mo Fan a B?

If Tang Yue were to cause any more trouble now, wouldn't all the excitement from just now vanish instantly...?

Xue Musheng never even considered that Mo Fan could achieve even better results.

"Teachers are not qualified to question the judgment, but they can address any unexpected questions that arise during the assessment... and can even check the testing equipment to ensure its accuracy," Teacher Tang Yue continued righteously.

Several school leaders tried to stop her, but Tang Yue completely ignored them.

After all, although Mu Zhuoyun could be considered a local tyrant here, compared to officials like her, Mu Zhuoyun's branch of the family was truly nothing.

"Teacher, why do you question the result?" Mu Zhuoyun stopped, showing some interest, and turned around to ask.

"Teacher Tang Yue, how can you disregard exam discipline? If I were you, I would leave the exam room immediately!" Mu He shouted loudly.

Tang Yue completely ignored him, and after sensing the area in the center, she said, "There's a problem with the Star Sensing Stone. This assessment must be repeated."

At this moment, the principal of Tianlan School also spoke up, telling them to go and exchange the stones.

Mu He forcibly covered up the matter, and Tang Yue didn't confront them directly. After all, she wasn't here to fight with such a small family; giving her students fair treatment was enough.

After replacing the Star Sensing Stone, Mo Fan tested it again, and it was clearly different!

The result was a straight "S"!

Mo Fan's performance also reached Grade A.

Mu Bai was extremely unwilling, and his heart seemed to be filled with resentment...

Unfortunately, no matter what, he can only keep it to himself for now.
