In the game: I stole Groudon at the start.

A flash of white light appeared, and a magnificent and noble Serpent raised its head high, its ruby-like eyes fixed on Suicune.

Serperior! It is Mei's first Pokémon and her most trusted and strongest ace partner!

"Give it your all, leave no regrets. This is the arena you've been pursuing all year."

Bakura sized up Serperior, Mei's Serperior. Strictly speaking, this wasn't their first time fighting.

Back on the Saint-Tiannu, he and Crimson formed a doubles team, and their opponents were Mei and Touko.

Although he was practically coasting through that doubles match.

"Of course, we're going to take the Monarch Serpent!"

Mei's face was full of smiles as she shouted at Serperior with great momentum.

This is the final battle. All the efforts of this year will come to an end here!

The monarch serpent responded, its magnificent tail moving slowly as it adjusted its posture.

"Leaf Storm!"

Mei waved her hand heavily, ordering Serperior to use Grass-type to counter Water-type!

As her strongest and most trusted partner, Mei has always been training Serpent to develop explosive power.

Her Serpent Lord is extremely aggressive!

Serperior raised its leaf-shaped tail high, its green light flashing, and a green storm rushed towards Suicune at top speed.

"snowstorm."

Looking at the green storm that filled his eyes, Bakura's lips curled up slightly. As expected of Mei's absolute ace.

This monarch serpent is indeed quite powerful.

Suicune opened its mouth, and an icy blue blizzard rushed forward without hesitation.

The blizzard and the leaf storm collided heavily, clashing violently against each other.

But soon, the blizzard began to show signs of suppressing the leaf storm.

"Monarch Serpent!"

Mei, realizing this, did not hesitate and shouted at Serpent Lord.

As expected, in a battle of raw power, it can't compare to Suicune.

Mei frowned slightly. Her fighting style with Serpentis has always been to use Serpentis's agility and aggressiveness to overwhelm her opponents.

But clearly, Suicune's attack is stronger than Serperior's!

That would make things very difficult.

Serpent Lord heard Mei's voice, and Leaf Storm suddenly expanded.

boom!

The energy of the blizzard and leaf storm suddenly exploded, with intense wind pressure and air waves spreading outwards, along with thick smoke and dust.

"Never mind! Serpent Lord, Harden Plant!"

After thinking it over and over without finding a good solution, Mei gritted her teeth and shouted loudly at Serperior.

To put it simply, the breeding direction of Serperior is actually the same as that of Suicune: developing both physical and special attacks to achieve explosive power.

Both follow a flexible offensive approach, but in terms of overall strength, Suicune is undoubtedly much stronger.

In that case, is deliberately letting Serperior approach Suicune a way of following Gyarados's old path?

Whether in terms of agility or aggression, Suicune is more than capable of suppressing Serperior. In that case, Serperior would likely be completely outmatched and killed by Suicune.

Just like Electivire, all its attacks missed, and then it was taken down by Suicune's continuous attacks.

But Mei couldn't think of any other way, so she could only fight with all her might.

"Woo~"

The Monarch Serpent raised its head high, and a deep green light faintly shone on its magnificent body.

The entire battlefield shook violently, the ground cracked continuously, and the shocking fissures exuded a deep, eerie aura.

The next moment, countless huge plant roots burst out of the soil, instantly covering the entire battlefield.

"This is the one Bakura used last time!"

Seeing this scene from the stands, Xiao Zhizhang's eyes lit up. He still vividly remembered the battle between Bakura's Serperior and the red Charizard.

What impressed him most were undoubtedly Serperior's hardened plants and Charizard's explosive burning!

As the ultimate move of the starter Pokémon, the visual effect is undoubtedly too strong!

"The hardened plant will be stunned after use, are you just attacking like this without any preparation?"

Xiao Gang frowned deeply. The Hardened Plant's attack was indeed very powerful, but it was usually only used when the opponent had no way to dodge.

Just like the Super Impact and Hyper Beam, the aftereffects of these powerful moves, such as the stun effect, are simply too deadly.

If it fails to achieve the desired effect, then it simply gives the opponent another chance.

"Mei has no way out; this is a choice she has no other choice but to make."

Qinglu said calmly that if he were in Mei's shoes, he would make the same choice as Mei.

Because he is a proud trainer, if he is not as skilled as others, then he will show his pride, which is his last act of stubbornness.

……

The opposite field shattered violently, and plant roots seemed to stretch endlessly, constantly rising and entangling Suicune in attacks.

Although the smoke and dust obscured the view, the commotion underfoot was so great that Suijun could not possibly have missed it.

It leaped into the air, using the oncoming roots to dodge the plant attacks, occasionally spraying out a jet of water to repel plants it couldn't avoid.

However, the attacks were so frequent that even Suicune found them increasingly annoying.

"What an excellent hardening plant, Suicune, amazing speed."

Bakura raised an eyebrow, gave a compliment, and then called out to Suijun.

As long as their level and strength are sufficient, all starter Pokémon can learn these ultimate moves, but not all starter Pokémon can use these moves skillfully.

It's clear that Serperior is very skilled at using the move Harden Plant.

That makes sense, though Mei may look like a cute and innocent girl, her fighting style is anything but soft.

You can tell a lot from the aggressiveness of her Pokémon; almost all of her six Pokémon are highly aggressive.

Suicune let out a soft cry, its calm and sharp eyes flashing with a cold light. It was the legendary messenger of the Phoenix King and the embodiment of the North Wind!

In front of so many humans, looking disheveled is not a suitable image for it!

A flash of white light appeared behind Suicune, and it charged towards Serperior at lightning speed. Serperior, currently immobilized by its Hardening Plant ability, was completely unable to move...

Once the hardened plant finishes, it will be in a state of paralysis, making Serpenti a perfect target!

"Monarch Serpent!"

Mei also noticed Suicune's approach and shouted at Serperior.

The Serpent Lord's ruby-like eyes stared at Suicune, and it controlled a large number of plant roots to directly meet Suicune head-on.

"Charge!"

Bakura's voice reached Sui-kun's ears.

In front of Suicune, a large number of plants, like tentacles, clung to it and attacked, their sheer number almost completely blocking Suicune's path.

The Water Elemental slightly opened its mouth, and a huge jet of water shot directly towards the plants.

Water cannon!

boom!

The water cannon clashed violently with the plant roots, causing it to explode.

Suicune, in its Extreme Speed state, rushed directly through the area of the explosion and arrived directly in front of Serperior.

At this moment, the time for hardening the plants has passed, and the huge plants that covered the entire site have completely stopped moving.

"ended."

Seeing this, Yukinari Ooki shook his head. Serperior's hardened plant was indeed impressive, but ultimately it did not have a decisive effect on Suicune.

In its super-speed state, Suicune crashed hard into Serperior, which was paralyzed and unable to move.

A sharp pain shot through him, and the Serpent Lord's eyes narrowed in agony as it was sent flying by the incredible speed of the impact.

"Super Impact".

But the attack wasn't over yet. Suicune, enveloped in white spiraling energy, caught up with Serperior once more and struck Serperior hard with a Super Impact.

boom!

With a loud bang, Suicune gracefully leaped backward and landed on its final, elegant landing. As the dust settled, Serperior, now unable to fight, came into everyone's view.

"Whoo~"

Seeing this, Mei seemed both regretful and relieved. She walked to Serperior's side and sprayed it with wound medicine spray.

"Serpent has lost! Although Mei tried her best to turn the tide, she was still defeated by the powerful Suicune."

"Let's congratulate Bakura for defeating Mei and becoming the first player to advance to the top 16!"

After the referee announced the result of the match, the sunglasses-wearing host laughed loudly and spoke up.

"Bakura's strength is really too strong. We can look forward to what kind of exciting battles Bakura will bring us next."

"And similarly, let's give a round of applause to Mei. Although she lost, Mei's performance was also very impressive and regrettable."

"However, Mei is very young, and her life has just begun. I hope she will have a better future."

The sunglasses-wearing host then looked at Mei and said with a sigh, "This is not just a perfunctory response."

Although Bakura held an absolute advantage throughout the entire process, and Bakura did indeed hold back from the beginning by not using Kyogre.

But Mei's performance was truly spectacular. Her Pokémon was also daring and aggressive, and her fighting style was completely different from Mei's appearance.

Most importantly, Mei is still very young, yet she has such performance and strength. If she hadn't been unlucky enough to face Bakura.
