In the game: I stole Groudon at the start.

Qinglv frowned, completely baffled as to what Bakura was thinking. Although electromagnetic waves were not a damaging move and would not harm the Pokémon at all.

But paralysis is an extremely troublesome condition.

Especially for Flying-type Pokémon like Moltres, if it gets paralyzed, it's difficult to even maintain its balance.

Bakura couldn't possibly be unaware of this.

Regardless, since Zapdos has chosen to confront it head-on, Bluegreen will not let this opportunity pass!

Jolteon maintained the spread of electromagnetic waves, and a golden ball of electricity slowly formed behind its tail.

As Jolteon leaped into the air, Voltorb flew at high speed toward Moltres.

boom!

The electric ball clashed head-on with the divine bird's fierce attack, and the electric ball exploded instantly, with golden lightning flashing even more frequently in the rain.

But Moltres, enveloped in the divine bird's energy, broke through the range of lightning and electromagnetic waves and continued its attack on Jolteon!

"Thunder Sprite!"

Seeing this, Qinglu frowned even more, but remained calm, as everything was progressing as expected.

As soon as Jolteon landed, it tried to move to a different position, because the menacing Moltres was already close by.

But clearly, it's too late for 467 to perfectly avoid it at this point.

The blue divine bird crashed heavily into the Thunder Sprite, sending it flying.

The Jolteon, after being knocked away, spun around on the ground several times before regaining its balance. It then rolled over, gripped the ground with its limbs, and slid a short distance to dissipate the impact.

"The Divine Bird Strike doesn't do much damage to the Thunder Spirit, so there's no major problem yet. What's next...??"

Green observed the Thunder Sprite; although it had some wounds, the Thunder Sprite's powerful attack had been weakened by the Electric Ball.

Moreover, Jolteon is resistant to Flying-type moves. Although Jolteon is not a Pokémon with particularly high HP, it is still not a big problem.

Moltres, on the other hand, will be paralyzed if hit by electromagnetic waves, making the rest of the battle much easier.

As Qinglu, who was thinking this, looked up at the Flamebird and was suddenly stunned.

Isn't that strange?

With a smile on his lips, Bakura asked Aomori a question.

The firebird, which was standing on the battlefield, slowly spread its wings and took off. Its movements were very natural, without any stiffness from being paralyzed.

"Impossible, the electromagnetic wave clearly hit its target!"

Qinglu stared intently at Moltres, her expression grim. Moltres had definitely been hit by the electromagnetic waves; Qinglu couldn't be wrong about that.

As a champion-level trainer, Green's insightful abilities are undeniable.

"and many more……"

If being hit by electromagnetic waves doesn't cause any abnormalities, then there's only one possibility.

At that very moment, a circle of silvery-white light flashed on the body of the flying flaming bird, and halos of silver light spread out and disappeared into the flaming bird's body.

"Mysterious Guardian!"

Qinglu uttered the name of this ultimate move in a deep voice.

This explains why Moltres used Mystic Guard when it used Divine Bird Strike.

The mysterious guardian can block abnormal statuses, which is why the electromagnetic waves had no effect!

"Electromagnetic waves are a very troublesome move, and of course I won't let Moltres touch them unprepared."

"Qinglu, I'm not that easy to deal with. If you're too careless, I'll be in a lot of trouble too."

Bakura lowered his head and smiled slowly.

"Thunder Spirit, thunder!"

With a calm expression, Qinglu composed himself and spoke in a deep voice to Lei Jingling.

Moltres wasn't paralyzed, which means that the Divine Bird Strike was completely wasted on Jolteon!

But it's okay, Jolteon's condition isn't too bad, it can still fight!

Chapter 485 My Diancie is a Tank! (Please Subscribe to All Chapters)

Dark clouds gathered above the Quartz Conference Hall, and icy rain poured down incessantly. Yet, even in the torrential downpour, not a single spectator left the hall.

Isn't it normal to get caught in the rain while watching a game? Sometimes it even snows; experienced viewers are used to it.

"Green is such a careless child."

Donning a coat, Oki Yukinari looked at the arena and said with concern.

They had finally managed to turn the weather around to their advantage, but Moltres quickly reversed it.

The situation changed far too quickly.

"Although the Rain Dance is still in effect, for the Jolteon, it's definitely time to find an opportunity to maximize its advantage."

"What should have been worrying has turned green."

Xiao Gang analyzed in a deep voice that Jolteon is a completely special attack burst type of Pokémon, and special attack and speed are Jolteon's biggest advantages.

Defense and stamina are the weaknesses of the Jolteon.

Moltres, being a legendary creature, is undoubtedly much stronger than Jolteon, not to mention that Jolteon has been hit by Moltres's Divine Bird Strike.

For Qinglv, a protracted war is absolutely not feasible.

……

"Thunder Spirit, thunder!"

Qinglu naturally understood this as well; a protracted war was absolutely not going to work!

But it is precisely at times like these that we must remain calm and seek and create opportunities!

Moltres was in good condition; Pidgeot hadn't inflicted any serious damage on it.

Jolteon can't fly, so we have to take it step by step.

Jolteon moved swiftly across its limbs, eventually arriving behind Moltres. A massive pillar of lightning rapidly condensed and shot towards Moltres.

"Big characters burst into flames!"

Bakura glanced at Jolteon and gave the order to Moltres.

The firebird let out a loud cry, its beak filled with scorching flames, and it turned its head to send a huge pillar of fire straight at the thunder.

The pillar of fire, shaped like the Chinese character "大" (big), collided heavily with the thunder in mid-air.

boom!

The two attacks exploded instantly!

"As expected, fire attacks are no match for the Thunder Spirit."

Bakura narrowed his eyes slightly. Even the Great Fireball couldn't suppress Jolteon's electric-type attack. The effect of Rain Dance was still very strong on Moltres.

But that's okay, Moltres isn't just good with Fire-type special attacks!

"Molotov, Hurricane!"

Bakura shouted to Moltres.

"Chirp~"

The firebird flapped its wings and cried out, its wings, burning with raging flames, began to beat vigorously.

A powerful storm, accompanied by sharp wind blades, swept down relentlessly, engulfing the entire battlefield.

"Thunder Sprite!"

Green covered her face with her hands and called out to Thunder Sprite.

The wind pressure of the storm was so strong that even those in the athletes' positions were affected by the howling wind.

If even the players' positions are like this, you can imagine the pressure in the center of the battlefield, where Jolteon must be.

Storm, one of the Flying-type's ultimate moves, is excellent in both suppression and damage, and is also one of the most frequently used ultimate moves by Flying-type Pokémon.

The Jolteon's fur was blown down, and without hesitation, it scrambled to its feet and burrowed underground.

Dig a tunnel!

"I won't let you get away, Moltres, Flamethrower."

Bakura did not hesitate to send Moltres in pursuit.

Although Moltres doesn't use Ground-type moves like Earthquake Stomp, there are actually many ways to deal with Dig.

However, apart from direct attacks like earthquakes, other methods can be countered by the spirits that burrow underground.

This time, Bakura is preparing to force Raijin out!

"what?"

But Qinglv was taken aback by the Moltres's actions.

Moltres descended directly, aimed at the hole dug by Jolteon, filled its mouth with flames, and spewed them directly into the hole!

Holy crap! Is this some kind of reckless move?

Even Qinglu, who is usually very meticulous, was somewhat surprised at this moment.

"Thunder Spirit~!"

But since Moltres gave him the chance, Green had no reason to be timid, and shouted at the Jolteon on the ground.

Not retaliating is not an option either. Although Moltres's method is indeed reckless, it can undoubtedly force out Pokémon that dig burrows.

If they really don't come out, the flames that chase them in will roast the Jolteon alive!

The ground behind Moltres suddenly cracked, and Jolteon burst out of the ground, a dazzling bolt of electricity striking Moltres directly.
