In the game: I stole Groudon at the start.

"I'm also very curious to know, just how special are you, Xiao Huang, that Bakura-ge would give you the Paper Sword?"

Gladion's gaze slowly sharpened; this girl was someone Bakura had high hopes for.

He was also eager to know just how strong she really was!

"I will not lose to anyone before I fight Mr. Bakura!"

"Paper sword control! I'm begging you!"

The girl tossed the Poké Ball high into the air, and a Papercraft stood before her with an extremely imposing aura.

"Paper sword control!"

Gazing at the formidable and terrifying Kamatary Blade opposite him, Gladion gripped the Poké Ball slightly. An Ultra Beast!

As the young master of Aether Paradise, Gladion naturally knows far more about Ultra Beasts than outsiders.

He was also very clear about the strengths of Paper Sword.

"The King of Devourers! Charge!"

Without much thought, Gladion solemnly threw the Poké Ball in his hand.

A massive black sprite landed heavily in front of Gladion, its deep roar shaking the heavens.

The terrifying weight caused the entire battlefield to tremble.

It is spherical in shape, with strong legs, a small head, a huge belly with a large yellow mouth, and two black tentacles extending from its lower jaw.

Ultra Beast Gluttony! Codenamed 'UB05: Gluttony'!

Yes, Gladion also has Ultra Beasts! The Aether Paradise has already thoroughly researched Ultra Beasts, so how could Gladion, as the young master of the Aether Paradise, not have Ultra Beasts?

Originally, Lillie should have been an option to choose one, but Lillie's strength...

Ahem, Lillie hasn't yet gained the approval of any Ultra Beasts.

"Oh~ this is a new elf."

Ooki Yukinari's eyes lit up as he looked at the Pokémon named Guzzlord.

Because he had never seen this Gluttonous King before!

"It's an Ultra Beast from the Alola region, right? That Gladion is also an Alola trainer."

With his cyan eyes fixed on Guzzlord, he analyzed that, apart from Ultra Beasts, almost all the other Pokémon in Alola have been recorded in the Pokédex.

"It seems necessary to ask Naruto to collect information on Ultra Beasts."

Yukinari Oak nodded in agreement. He knew that his cousin, Akira Oak, was currently living in Alola and had even opened a Pokémon school.

"Using the Devourer King to fight against Paper Sword isn't very appropriate, is it?"

Campfire frowned slightly, looking somewhat puzzled.

Guzzlord is enormous and very clumsy. Although, in terms of type, the Dark/Dragon-type Guzzlord has no type advantage over the Grass/Steel-type Karma.

But Xiao Huang's paper sword is very good at fast and violent attacks.

"They're trying to use Guzzlord to stop Kamatamare from gaining an advantage, aren't they? The characteristics of Ultra Beasts are all about Ultra Beast enhancement."

"After defeating an opponent, your attack will increase. If you let the Paper Sword accumulate attack power, it will become extremely difficult to deal with."

Lusamine analyzed softly, "The characteristic of all Ultra Beasts is the same: 'Beast Boost'!"

The effect of the Beast Enhancement is that after defeating an opponent, it increases its highest-ranking ability.

Xiao Huang's paper sword is undoubtedly strongest in terms of attack and speed. Judging from previous battles, this paper sword's attack is the most terrifying.

However, once the Paper Sword accumulates both attack power and speed, it will become extremely difficult to deal with.

"In a sense, the Gluttonous King is indeed very effective against burst-type Pokémon, but that is only under the condition of equal strength."

Bakura shook his head as he looked at the two Pokémon in the arena. Ultra Beasts are almost all Pokémon with extremely severe specializations.

In the game, the Paper Sword's physical attack stat is a whopping 180 points!

Yes, a terrifying 180 points!

The same goes for Gluttony, and even more so, Gluttony's HP base stat reaches a staggering 223 points!

A base HP stat of over 200!

This means that the Gluttonous King has incredibly strong stamina! A true tank-like beast!

In this reality, an elf like the Gluttonous King would be a completely defensive counter-attacking type.

"If it cannot withstand the attack of the Paper Sword, the Gluttonous King will have no power to fight back at all."

Bakura continued, saying that the physically strong Gluttonous King is a tank, while the extremely powerful Kamikatsu is an assassin.

Tanks versus assassins: which has the advantage? That's a matter of opinion.

When the difference in strength reaches a certain level, the direction of Pokémon training is no longer a problem.

……

"The Gluttonous King? Paper Sword, approach!"

Little Yellow tilted her head slightly. She had never seen this elf before, but she was already used to it.

No matter who the opponent is, just defeat them!

Xiao Huang's expression turned serious, and he shouted at the Paper Sword.

Paper Sword lowered its body slightly, its arms, as sharp as sword blades, spread out, and it sped towards the Gluttonous King.

"Eater King! Stop it! Use Dragon Star Cluster!"

Gladio waved his arm, giving the order to the Gluttonous King.

The Gluttonous King let out a low growl, and two tentacles attacked Paper Sword. At the same time, an extremely pure sphere of dragon-type energy formed in front of the Gluttonous King's head.

"Paper Sword Control! Holy Sword!"

Upon seeing this, Xiao Huang shouted to the paper sword without hesitation...

The Paper Sword Arm shone with deep blue energy, transforming into two energy swords.

A holy sword for fighting!

With remarkable agility, it evaded the Gluttonous King's two tentacles and accelerated once more, its figure appearing like a white shadow in the blink of an eye in front of the Gluttonous King.

"So fast!"

Gladio's pupils contracted, incredibly fast!

At this moment, the Dragon Star Cluster of the Gluttonous King had just condensed and risen into the sky!

Paper swords are very slender and petite, and Xiao Huang's paper sword is only about 0.6 meters tall.

To Gladion, a giant Gluttonous King that was over six meters tall, the Paper Sword was the size of a small child.

but……

Paper Sword leaped up, and with his left hand, he swung the Holy Sword fiercely down at the Gluttonous King!

Perfect hit!

The Gluttonous King growled in pain, its body being knocked back several steps. The Fighting-type Holy Sword attack was very effective against it!

"Guardian King! Dragon Pulse!"

Gladion hurriedly ordered the Gluttonous King to fight back, or there would be no chance.

The Gluttonous King roared savagely, and azure dragon light gathered in its mouth.

But Paper Sword gave the Gluttonous King no chance. With the Holy Sword in his right hand, he spun around and, using the momentum, struck the Gluttonous King hard once again!

Both holy sword strikes hit perfectly!

boom!

The dragon light emanating from the Gluttonous King's mouth abruptly stopped, and his massive body collapsed heavily!

When I looked again, the Gluttonous King had already lost his ability to fight.

At this moment, the 4.1 Dragon Star Cluster in the air had just exploded, what a terrifyingly fast attack!

The audience gasped in surprise.

"Sigh~"

Lillie gasped, staring at the paper sword that had returned to Little Yellow.

"That's ridiculously strong." The campfire also frowned.

She knew that Xiao Huang was very strong now, but before, Xiao Huang had almost always fought against ordinary people. Even if he killed his opponents with his paper sword, it was just a concept.

However, Xiao Huang's opponent now is Gladio!

Campfire knows Gladion quite well, and the two are even evenly matched in strength, both currently at the Elite Four level, so they often spar and train together.

But Gladion's main force, Gluttony, was taken down by Kami-no-Tsurugi's two quick attacks with the Holy Sword.

Chapter 44 Bakura vs. Red Lugia Arrives (Please Subscribe to All Chapters)

"The difference in strength is too great."

Bakura shook his head; he had already guessed that this would be the outcome.

Indeed, there is no definitive conclusion as to whether a heavyweight Pokémon or a burst-type Pokémon is more effective at countering the other.

Because factors such as the Pokémon's type, weather, environment, and status can all affect the outcome of a battle.
