In fact, Momo could sense that this power was similar to what she had felt when facing Kinpika, Haruhi Suzumiya, and Shana—clearly an incomprehensible yet incredibly powerful force. Although this power wasn't like the completely irresistible majesty of Alaya or Gaia, it was tainted by the aura of their power, making it difficult to understand using ordinary logic.

With the support of the afterlife and Valhalla, Momo might no longer fear this power and wouldn't be completely defeated by it. But the Momo at this moment is just an avatar, and it will probably be crushed into pieces in a matter of minutes.

However, Mo Mo remained calm in the face of danger, after all, showing off is all about having the right aura. Even knowing he was no match for his opponent, he still had to put on an air of superiority and overwhelm his opponent with his presence.

Pretending to be cool is a kind of faith; even knowing that you are about to be smashed to pieces, you still have to elegantly finish pretending for the last second.

This is what a solitary and proud life is all about.

As it turned out, Momer was right.

Although Yukari Yakumo hates Momo and fears his power, she still dares to attack him, killing more than twenty of his clones, almost unlocking her protagonist-killing maniac attribute. However, when facing Gilgamesh, Yukari Yakumo clearly doesn't dare to act herself.

Compared to the other two, although Yakumo Yukari's attitude made Mo Mo feel a little uncomfortable, it was precisely this fear that made her make a final struggle.

"Yes, I can't hurt you, and I'm no match for you at all."

Eyes popped out from all directions, all fixed on Gilgamesh, seemingly using their sheer numbers to overwhelm Momo's gaze. As for Yakumo Yukari's voice, it too drifted softly from all sides.

"From the very beginning, I had no intention of attacking you. It was the great Dragon God who should have attacked you. The purpose of my being here is to reveal my true form and use my entire existence as a stake to trap you here!"

Mo Mo was taken aback by Yakumo Yukari's words. Looking at the eyes around him that were clearly filled with hatred, could this be Yakumo Yukari's true form?

Hmm... Yukari Yakumo's true form is really quite extreme!

Yukari Yakumo is a youkai of boundaries, and the gap is one of her abilities. Her true form couldn't possibly be a gap, but rather something related to boundaries. So, are her eyes embodiments of boundary power, used to divide and control the power of boundaries?

This was merely Mo Mo's guess; Mo Mo had no intention of testing the true strength of these eyes.

"Interesting, that dragon that's somewhat presentable? Perfect, I'd like to have another look at it. Last time it escaped, this time I want to see if it's improved at all."

Momo, disguised as Gilgamesh, sat there nonchalantly, seemingly oblivious to everything around him, including Yakumo Yukari and the Dragon God. Such behavior might seem abnormal to others, but for Gilgamesh, it was perfectly normal.

Gilgamesh will not make a move unless the opponent has a full build. Otherwise, how could such a weak opponent be worthy of being killed by Gilgamesh's own hands?

This is Gilgamesh's nature. Although Gilgamesh has lost countless times and been defeated and turned the tables on because of this, his nature remains unchanged.

This nature and behavior actually benefited Momo, allowing him to fully expose the danger of his strength.

Momo's guess was correct. Momo's performance actually relieved Yakumo Yukari, and it also made her have no reason to doubt Gilgamesh's identity. On one hand, Gilgamesh had already planted a shadow of fear in Yakumo Yukari's heart; on the other hand, Momo's transformation ability was being used for the first time, so naturally the effect was outstanding.

“That’s perfect,” Yakumo Yukari said, controlling the raging power of the Dragon God to form a crystal-clear jewel. She secretly breathed a sigh of relief. “Now we can only rely on the Dragon God. At least… at least please, Dragon God, drive this guy out of the afterlife.”

"Although I don't want to admit it, the people that Momo took away are the last spark of life in the world. Surely the Dragon God wouldn't refuse them?"

She initially left Reimu Hakurei and Eirin Yagokoro behind to support the Dragon God, but the Dragon God then collaborated with Yukari Yakumo, combining their powers to throw Yukari into the afterlife. Yukari was unaware of what happened afterward. However, in her view, no matter how strong Gilgamesh was, he was at most on par with the Dragon God; how could he possibly be stronger than the Creator?

Especially now that Gilgamesh has appeared here, it further confirms Yakumo Yukari's guess: back then, both sides were likely unable to defeat each other and chose to retreat. Otherwise, how could Gilgamesh now appear so brazenly in the afterlife, seemingly completely unaware of the Dragon God's affairs?

If Gilgamesh had truly killed the Dragon God, even if he had killed Reimu Hakurei and Eirin Yagokoro, he wouldn't have reacted this way when he saw Yukari Yakumo.

This deduction reassured Yukari Yakumo. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the Radiant Dragon Ball, breaking through the gap and the void outside the gap, seemingly even breaking through the barriers of the world, and rushing straight towards a certain direction.

They rushed towards the direction of the Dragon God.

This is the last bit of power that the Dragon God left for Yakumo Yukari; simply put, it's calling upon the powerful Dragon God to appear.

Unfortunately, Yukari Yakumo, who was relieved at this moment, did not know that she had encountered a fake Gilgamesh.

Author's Note:

P.S.: This book is about to enter its final volume. I've been thinking about how to gracefully fill in the plot holes these past few days, so updates have been unstable. I apologize! I will try my best to maintain updates while gradually filling in the plot holes, and try not to be disturbed by writer's block.

As for why I chose to end it, it's mainly because the book had already reached 11 million words, and I was physically and mentally exhausted, simply lacking the passion to continue writing. Fourteen months have passed since November 2015, and it's time to wrap things up.

If you have any expectations for this book, or if you'd like any plot holes to be filled, please let me know or remind me so that I don't accidentally overlook them myself.

JKing thanks everyone for your continued support. I sincerely hope you'll all be there for me on this final stretch of my journey. (I have a feeling I'm about to fail...)

PS2: Although this is the final volume and we're entering the plot-filling phase, it won't end hastily. I will do my best to write a good ending for the whole book and create a complete and excellent story for everyone.

002 I may have summoned a fake dragon god.

Having done all this, Yukari Yakumo eagerly awaited the arrival of the Dragon God. If there was anyone in the entire world she could unconditionally trust, it was undoubtedly the Dragon God.

By now, Yukari Yakumo knew she had nothing left; she was truly all alone. There was nothing left to look forward to in her past, and no one would hold even the slightest expectation of her. After all, in the eyes of outsiders, Yukari Yakumo's actions seemed utterly unforgivable.

How should we view all of this that has already happened?

Yukari Yakumo was unaware of this.

Therefore, Yukari Yakumo decided to entrust everything to the Dragon God, to the omnipotent Dragon God who created and saved everything, and who inspired fear and respect from all living beings.

The Dragon God is the only being who understands her, the only one who knows everything she has done, and the ultimate factor that allows him to comprehend Yakumo Yukari's thoughts and will. This is also the last straw that allows Yakumo Yukari to hold firm to herself, or rather, to comfort herself.

Yukari Yakumo didn't want to defend herself; she would naturally have to bear the consequences of her actions. Yukari Yakumo certainly had that much courage.

Yukari Yakumo, whose true form had completely lost its human shape, secretly observed the unruly Gilgamesh. Seeing that the other party was truly waiting quietly for the Dragon God, she couldn't help but begin to have doubts.

Yukari Yakumo had witnessed Gilgamesh's power firsthand; the epic battle between the man and the dragon was something she barely had the right to witness. In her view, the two were roughly evenly matched; otherwise, the Dragon God wouldn't have been able to protect Gensokyo from the enemy's advance.

While Gilgamesh's disdainful attitude towards an evenly matched enemy was understandable, Yakumo Yukari still sensed something strange. Could it be that Gilgamesh had already found a way to face, or even defeat, the Dragon God?

Realizing this, Yukari Yakumo's heart pounded, yet she had no other choice. Faced with Gilgamesh, she had to summon the Dragon God.

This wasn't just for herself. If Yukari Yakumo was certain she could sacrifice herself to kill Gilgamesh, she wouldn't hesitate for a moment. But Yukari knew that against Gilgamesh, even if she used every means at her disposal, the result would at most be to slow him down.

How could Yakumo Yukari, an enemy who could rival the Dragon God, possibly be Gilgamesh's opponent?

The reason why Yukari Yakumo went to such lengths to extract Gilgamesh and risked her life to summon the Dragon God was ultimately for the sake of Gensokyo. Although Gensokyo is now shattered, and even if it exists again in the future, it will probably have nothing to do with her, Yukari Yakumo.

Yukari Yakumo must pull Gilgamesh out of Gensokyo and out of the afterlife, and then summon the Dragon God to drive him away. Otherwise, Gensokyo without Yukari Yakumo will surely be destroyed by Gilgamesh and his corrupt minions.

This was the last thing Yukari Yakumo could do for Gensokyo. As for what would happen to her after this...

Yukari Yakumo no longer cared about anything else.

A moment of silence fell between Yukari Yakumo and Momo. While the Dragon God's power was immense, this transmission and summoning was clearly trans-dimensional. Momo still found this summoning process difficult to comprehend, so she wasn't impatient with the wait.

Momo was thinking frantically, making all sorts of assumptions, imagining as many possibilities as possible that might arise next, and then setting out a course of action.

Mo Mo had no idea what would happen next. What Mo Mo had to do was to seize a crucial possibility from the vast unknown and find his original and ultimate goal.

Find Reimu's location.

Momo had a premonition that he was finally not far from Reimu Hakurei's location. The invisible ribbon on his wrist seemed to sense something as well, and began to sway slowly, gently brushing against Momo's wrist.

"coming!"

Momo's eyes lit up, and his disguise as Gilgamesh inadvertently revealed a slight flaw. After all, Momo wasn't truly familiar with Gilgamesh, let alone some of his subtle habits. All Momo could do was portray Gilgamesh's arrogant and aloof side as best he could to cover up his other shortcomings.

However, Mo Mo's slight flaw didn't reveal anything, because Yakumo Yukari also stopped paying attention to Mo Mo and instead focused all her attention on the huge hole and the endless void beyond. From the void, something seemed to be rapidly approaching.

Something approaching at breakneck speed seemed to emit a whooshing sound due to its high velocity, like a roaring train. But Mo Mo knew that no sound could travel through the void outside. This sound, approaching from afar, was not a whooshing sound, but a real roar.

The dragon's roar.

"Lord Dragon God!"

Within the broken gaps, countless eyes stared intently at the rapidly approaching immense power.

This power was so familiar to Yukari Yakumo. It was this power that had once threatened the construction of Gensokyo, that had blocked Gilgamesh, that had covered the retreat of Gensokyo, the only remaining city in the world, and that had created an opportunity for Yukari Yakumo and all other living beings to survive.

It was this force that forcibly separated Gensokyo from the world it originally existed in, and then escorted all the living beings in Gensokyo to the afterlife.

How could Yakumo Yukari not respect or trust such power?

Unfortunately, Yukari Yakumo didn't know that this power shouldn't be something the Dragon God could use either; it was a power beyond the reach of any supreme being in any two-dimensional world. It wasn't strange for Momo to find such power appearing on Alaya and Gaia behind him, but its presence on the Dragon God was enough to fill Momo with a hundred thousand questions.

The sound grew closer, and the joy surging within Yukari Yakumo grew stronger. Until a complete voice reached Yukari and Momo's ears, both of them seemed to freeze in place.

The approaching dragon roar was filled with immense pain and sorrow. Even Mo Mo, who had never seen the Dragon God, could tell that the owner of the voice was clearly uttering a final lament!

The dragon god's final lament was so piercing to Yukari Yakumo's ears that even after a completely black dragon head crashed into the gap several kilometers in diameter, shattering everything in its path, Yukari Yakumo still couldn't believe what she was seeing.

She couldn't believe that the black, mud-like monster before her was the dragon god she worshipped and longed for.

003 I might have seen a fake Yukari Yakumo.

The Dragon God, the greatest deity in the world where Gensokyo is located. Although Yukari Yakumo doesn't really know the Dragon God's origins or achievements, that doesn't stop her from bestowing all her great conjectures and praises upon the Dragon God.

Worshiping gods and admiring the strong is something even Yukari Yakumo is no exception to. Especially when she has lost all her support and is in utter despair, what Yukari Yakumo needs most is a reliable and dependable person to rely on, and the Dragon God is undoubtedly the god who can play that role.

But now, everything seems to have been destroyed.

Yukari Yakumo didn't want to admit, nor dared to admit, that this enormous, black, mud-like creature was the Dragon God. Unfortunately, the familiar power hidden beneath the black mud, and the Dragon God's previous pitiful wails—all of this was familiar to Yukari. Whether Yukari believed it or not, the Dragon God was right before her eyes, and already on the verge of death.

Why is it like this? What exactly happened?

With her last hope extinguished, Yakumo Yukari lost even the slightest courage to think. She stared blankly at the Dragon God, watching its head squeeze in, and fell into silence, as if her soul itself was gradually dissipating with this sudden silence.

Mo Mo also fell from the sky in a somewhat disheveled manner, landing in front of the Dragon God.

The instant the Dragon God charged in, despite the considerable size of Yakumo Yukari's gap, the sheer diameter of a single dragon head, several kilometers in diameter, still caused a massive impact. Even the throne beneath Momo was sent flying and twisted. Fortunately, Momo reacted quickly; otherwise, this small clone would likely have been shattered.

Upon closer inspection of the Dragon God, Momo's Gilgamesh-like face grew solemn. The Dragon God's pitiful appearance already signified a great deal, and as Momo looked down into the void along the Dragon God's enormous, seemingly endless body, he sensed a tremendous danger lurking behind it.

Momo sighed softly, smoothing Gilgamesh's long golden hair. Was he, the imposter, about to meet the real Gilgamesh today?

At this moment, Momo wasn't afraid of Gilgamesh; in fact, he even harbored the desire to challenge him. However, the imposter Gilgamesh currently present was merely an avatar of Momo, and due to the influence of Yakumo Yukari's abilities, the relationship between Momo and the Hall of Heroes was...

what!

Thinking of this, Mo Mo was suddenly stunned. It seemed that the connection between his clone and the Hall of Heroes, and the connection with the afterlife, was gradually being restored!

Realizing this, Mo Mo's expression turned even more grim as he looked at the Dragon God. The power that Yakumo Yukari used to interfere with Mo Mo's abilities clearly originated from the Dragon God, and now that this power was weakening, didn't that mean the Dragon God was rapidly heading towards annihilation?

Mo Mo had no feelings for the Dragon God, but seeing such an absolutely enormous and powerful being die before his eyes, and killed by an enemy that Mo Mo was about to encounter, it was impossible for Mo Mo to remain unmoved.

But what could Momo do at this point?

"Leave Lord Dragon God!"

Just then, a piercing scream pulled Mo Mo back to reality. Mo Mo turned her head and saw that on one side of the gap, a cluster of eyes rapidly gathered together, like longans squeezed together, forming a human shape.

Then, the eyes closed one by one, and the human-shaped organs became clear. The innocent body of a young girl thus grew from the wall filled with eyes. Judging by her figure alone, Mo Mo knew immediately that this girl was none other than Yakumo Yukari.

This growth process surprised Mo Mo, who suddenly discovered the true nature of the seventeen-year-old beauty Yakumo Yukari beneath her exterior, which aroused Mo Mo's interest... cough, no, it was more like a shock.

As expected, a yokai is a yokai; no matter how beautiful its exterior, it's still an illusion. When faced with Yakumo Yukari's most authentic self, no matter who she is…

Just as Mo Mo was about to righteously criticize Yakumo Yukari's somewhat nauseating appearance from a moral high ground, Yakumo Yukari's transformation back into human form ended. The seventeen-year-old girl's naked body was dazzlingly beautiful, especially since, due to the recent re-condensation, Yakumo Yukari's skin had a rosy pink hue, and a faint warmth emanated from her body, like a delicious pastry just served.

Hmm... Mo Mo swallowed back his righteous words. Indeed, it seemed a bit too cruel to say such things to such a delicate girl.
