Death's Hidden Mobile

“Ise Nanao? That senior is now the vice-captain of the 8th Division and the vice-chairman of the Women's Shinigami Association. She has a somewhat tough appearance, but is exceptionally gentle.” Xia Yan replied with a smile.

When Yadomaru Lisa heard his words, her eyes softened, and she said, "So, she's all grown up now."

Lisa Yadomaru and Nanao Ise had a good relationship. During the Hollowfication incident seventy-one years ago, she was sent to the front line by Shunsui Kyoraku without authorization. When Shunsui Kyoraku returned to the barracks, he met Nanao Ise.

At that time, Ise Nanao was just a child, the youngest Shinigami in the entire 8th Division. Every month on the first, she would come to Yadomaru Lisa to read books, but she never found her on that day.

At that time, Kyoraku Shunsui comforted her, saying that she would be back the next day.

But in the end, from that day until now, even thirty years later, a total of one hundred and one years, the two have never met again.

Thinking of this, Xia Yan said softly, "Yadomaru-senpai, she misses you very much."

Upon hearing this, Yadomaru Lisa's eyes reddened, and she said, "I miss her too."

Chapter 97: Hollowfication Training

With the help of Yadomaru Lisa, Xia Yan cleaned the room. Xia Yan cleaned very carefully, not missing any corner. After cleaning, he went to order furniture.

He ordered a bed, a desk, and a clothes rack. The goods arrived quickly, but he couldn't use them immediately. Instead, he needed to transform the items into spiritual energy.

In Soul Society, the souls of spirits, buildings, and food are all composed of spirit particles, while in the human world they are composed of vessel particles.

Spiritual particles can pass through physical objects, and spiritual bodies can exist in the mortal world, but humans cannot enter the space where spiritual particles reside.

For a person composed of vessels to enter the Soul Society, they need to undergo transformation. After transformation, not only does the body become a spirit, but the clothes are also transformed (refer to Uryu Ishida, Orihime Inoue, Chad, and Yasutora's first trip to the Soul Society).

Spiritual particles are more like another form of vessels, so all these pieces of furniture have been transformed so that even souls can use them.

Xia Yan spent three or four days decorating his room, making it neater and more organized than everyone else's rooms.

He did this because he would be staying here for a long time to come, so he naturally wanted to make it his home.

Conservatively speaking, this timeframe should be within thirty years.

This point in time is the final trigger point of the letter I wrote to Retsu Unohana, and it's also the point at which the original story begins.

With Ichigo Kurosaki ahead of him, it was the perfect opportunity for him to take advantage of the situation.

With his own foresight, the cooperation of Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi, and the Visored's covert plot, Natsuhiko planned to kill Aizen when Ichigo Kurosaki went to Seireitei to treat Rukia Kuchiki.

However, Xia Yan was not entirely confident of success and needed to make careful arrangements.

After settling down, Xia Yan's first task was to test the blurring time.

This intangibility time refers to the duration of the mask's effect when not in combat. In combat, it is difficult to control due to the intensity of the battle and the strength of the opponent.

Xia Yan arrived at the underground training grounds and began testing his Hollowfication, with Yadomaru Lisa assisting him. After inquiring about Kyoraku Shunsui and Ise Nanao, Yadomaru Lisa continued to help him for the next few days.

"Let's begin."

After Yadomaru Lisa confirmed the time, Xia Yan activated the Hollowfication power within his body, and a mask with horizontal lines and sharp horns on its head covered Xia Yan's face.

Seeing this, Yadomaru Lisa said thoughtfully, "Your mask looks just like mine."

Both are full-coverage masks, but Lisa Yadomaru has an extra vertical bar, while Natsuhiko's has an extra pointed corner; otherwise, they are almost identical.

Xia Yan said in a muffled voice, "Yes, it does look very similar."

Lisa Yadomaru nodded and said, "The so-called 'hollowing time' is actually the time when the 'hollow self' in the soul invades the main body due to the consumption of the main body's energy, so don't try to tough it out."

Xia Yan understood this. Just like Kurosaki Ichigo, he could only last four seconds the first time, then it became eleven seconds, until he entered Hueco Mundo, where he lasted for more than a minute.

Even so, he lost control when facing Ulquiorra.

There are three determining factors for the duration of Hollowfication. The first is the level of spiritual pressure. After Hollowfication, spiritual pressure will increase, and speed and power will surge. However, Hollowfication will lead to a period of weakness. In fact, the increased spiritual pressure, power, and speed are the result of excessive exploitation. The higher your original spiritual pressure, the longer your Hollowfication time.

The second factor is combat attrition, which is not considered under normal circumstances.

The third level is the virtual level. The more powerful the virtuality, the more energy is consumed in virtualization.

The fourth is the process of overcoming the illusory self. The more difficult it is to overcome the illusory self, the shorter the illusory time will be. If you force it, the body will eventually be controlled by the illusory self.

Kurosaki Ichigo possessed immense Hollow power, being the first White Hollow created by Aizen. His victory over White Ichigo was a long and arduous process, taking a full 68 minutes and 44 seconds—second only to Hiyori Sarugaki's 69 minutes and 2 seconds.

Therefore, his intangibility time was no longer than that of the Visoreds.

Lisa Yadomaru glanced at the time and said, "Thirty seconds have passed. How does it feel?"

Xia Yan said, "It feels pretty good."

Ten minutes later.

Lisa Yadomaru said, "And now? Most of us can only last ten minutes the first time. Except for Kunan Shiro, who can last fifteen hours the first time."

Xia Yan checked it for a moment and said, "It's still fine. There's no feeling that the mask can't hold on."

After half an hour.

Lisa Yadomaru said, "Test the time yourself. Looks like it's another monster that takes a long time."

Xia Yan's spiritual pressure is high, already at the seventh level, reaching the captain level, which can compensate for the consumption of Hollowfication.

In addition, he defeated his Hollowfied self too easily, in just twenty minutes, which is relatively short for a Masked Man.

Xia Yan easily maintained the mask until four hours later, when he felt his body being invaded by another consciousness. Only then did he remove the mask and find Yadomaru Lisa, who was blushing as she looked at a book. Noticing Xia Yan's gaze, she put the book away.

Xia Yan told Yadomaru Lisa about the Hollowfication time. Lisa, who was with the other members of the Visored, said with some surprise, "Four hours? That's a long time."

Kensei Muguruma raised an eyebrow and asked, "Four hours on your first try? You're amazing. No one in our Visored can compare, right?"

"But you're still much worse than me," Jiu Nanbai said with a smile, leaning closer.

Kensei Muguruma said irritably, "Kunan Shiro, are you bragging? Can you really last more than four hours?"

Aikawa Rao said from the side, "Kunan Shiro is the only one who didn't train to extend the intangibility time, and he had fifteen hours the first time."

Kensei Rokusha raised an eyebrow and asked, "Is that so? I don't remember."

Jiu Nanbai immediately retorted sarcastically, "I told you, Kensei is an idiot."

"You bastard."

Kensei Rokusha immediately stood up, intending to teach Kunan Shiro a lesson, but was stopped by Aikawa Raobu.

Seeing this scene, Xia Yan felt a sense of déjà vu, as a similar scene had occurred during Kurosaki Ichigo's training.

At this moment, Shinji Hirako said, "However, we still need to extend the training time as much as possible. After all, spiritual power will be greatly weakened during battle, so special training is needed until it can support ten hours in normal condition. Who will help Natsuhiko with the training?"

Kunan Bai, who was arguing, immediately stopped paying attention to Mukuro Kensei and said, "I'll do it."

Hirako Shinji nodded and said, "Then let's go with Kunan Shiro. If it's you, one person is enough."

Xia Yan asked curiously, "How does the special training work?"

"Come with me."

Jiu Nanbai waved and took the lead towards the basement.

Xia Yan followed behind her, and Yadomaru Lisa followed. Yushoda Hachigen said, "I'll go too, to stabilize the barrier."

The four of them went to the basement. Xia Yan and Jiu Nanbai stood in the center of the basement. Jiu Nanbai suddenly said, "You should use your ethereal transformation first."

Xia Yan nodded and summoned a mask, while Jiu Nanbai also summoned a mask, a heart-shaped mask with two huge holes and four small slits.

The instant she summoned the mask, she suddenly raised her long leg. Bound by the white bodysuit, her leg displayed a beautiful curve, with rounded thighs and slender calves. Like a spring, it sprang out in an instant and lashed towards Xia Yan's face.

Xia Yan raised his arms to shield his face, and with a bang, he was sent flying backward, crashing into the barrier, causing the wall to shake violently.

"How do you train? Through combat, of course."

Jiu Nanbai said with a grin, but then his smile faded as he said, "You'd better watch out, I won't hold back. If you're not serious, you might get beaten to death."

Xia Yan slowly got up from the ground and then remembered that Kunan Shiro had a childlike personality and an endless fighting spirit, just like a combination of Kusajishi Yachiru and Zaraki Kenpachi.

"bring it on."

Xia Yan smiled slightly. "Since I don't have Kenpachi Zaraki, I'll use you to hone my fighting skills."

Chapter 98: Jiu Nanbai

Kunanbako is very strong. Seventy-one years ago, he was a vice-captain who surpassed Tosen Kaname. Of course, Tosen Kaname hid his strength, but Kunanbako is not weak either. After Hollowfication, his combat power increased many times.

She can instantly kill a Gillian-class Hollow, and she can also kick Wonderweiss's partner Fuller to death with one kick. Fuller is the giant one-eyed monster who helped Aizen escape from Soul Society. Her fingernails alone are the masks of a Hollow.

Fuller could extinguish the burning city walls of Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni in one breath, and could spit out a large number of Gillian-class Hollows. His size was the largest among Hollows.

But she was kicked to death by Jiu Nanbai, which is enough to prove her strength.

Kunan Shiro doesn't use Zanpakuto, nor does Natsuhiko, and he certainly doesn't use Shunko or Kido.

After he stood up, he flashed through the space between the two of them and instantly appeared behind Jiu Nanbai, throwing a punch.

Jiu Nanbai immediately leaned forward to dodge the attack, and at the same time raised his right foot to kick out.

"So fast."

boom.

Xia Yan only had time to raise his arms to block before Jiu Nanbai kicked him. A tremendous force sent Xia Yan flying backward.

"The power is too great."

Xia Yan got up from the ground and rubbed his sore arms, but before he could stand up, a figure descended from the sky, a long leg slashing down like a battle axe.

Xia Yan knew that this move was the one that killed Fuller; it was called the Super Kick Technique and was extremely powerful.

Xia Yan quickly dodged and leaped to the side.

But while he was still in mid-air, a huge shockwave hit him, sending Xia Yan flying.

After Xia Yan landed, he turned around and looked back. He saw a deep trench in the ground, splitting open to both sides, more than a meter deep.

"This power."

Xia Yan found it somewhat frightening. Kunan Shiro's Hakuda was very strong. She didn't use her Zanpakuto, but only Hollowfication and Hakuda, and her combat power was stronger than that of Sarugaki Hiyori after using Hollowfication. She was only slightly weaker than Sarugaki Hiyori's Hollowfication and Shikai.

I definitely can't defeat her using only intangibility. Should I use Instantaneous Crush?

No, if one's own etherealization doesn't reach this level, then one's combat power cannot be improved.

As Xia Yan pondered a solution, Jiu Nanbai pushed off the ground with both feet and shot towards Xia Yan, throwing a punch.
