"Cut off the heads of those cowards hiding under tin roofs! Tear down their stone houses! Rape their women! Kill their children, and let no child who is faster than a wheel live!"

The Dothraki were riding high.

Kago, brandishing an Arak scimitar forged from Valyrian steel, rode at the very front of the formation, his bare torso revealing his muscular physique. He roared in Dothraki, his beard trembling slightly.

"To reclaim that iron chair for the dragon-riding Khao!!"

"Ohhh!!!"

Kago's roar then elicited a frenzied cheer from the Dothraki, who joined in the cacophony with all sorts of howls and wailing.

Since the Blood Age, the Dothraki, as destroyers of civilization, have ravaged countless city-states on the continent of Essos, while the Seven Kingdoms have escaped this calamity thanks to their possession of the Narrow Sea.

However, now, under the leadership of the great dragon rider Khal, the people of the horse god are about to cross the Narrow Sea and conquer new lands.

Kago, the former vice-commander of the Windblown Legion, took over the management of the more than 20,000 Slark Roaring Warriors from Viserys.

This brave and skilled Dothraki mercenary seems to be descended from a renowned Khal, and he wields one of the very few Arak scimitars forged from dragon steel.

Kago was wounded during the operation to capture the Faceless Ones, but the Faceless Ones did not gain much advantage over him either, and were also seriously injured, eventually dying at the hands of Viserys.

Kago's injuries have naturally healed, and to make it easier to manage the Khalasar, this Dothraki has now become a Blood Guard for the dragon-riding Khal.

“qoy qoyi!”

Kago saw Viserys leap down from the dragon's back, immediately dismounted, placed his scimitar in front of him, knelt on one knee, and cried out, "My blood, my blood!"

Viserys helped him up.

Then, a large Dothraki army entered the city of Pentos.

Although the Dothraki were barbaric, they did not indiscriminately loot and burn after entering the city-state. They would wear fine clothes and spray perfume within the city-state, trying their best to appear civilized.

But in their own tribes, they go bare-chested, wearing painted leather vests, horsehair leggings, and bronze belts around their waists.

The Dothraki's entry into Pentos signifies that the first vanguard of the campaign to enter Westeros is ready.

...

A tense pre-war meeting.

Oberon was the first to resign from his position as acting Prime Minister.

He had been looking forward to this moment for a long time; he was going to personally lead his troops to Westeros and kill all the murderers who had killed his sister.

Therefore, he was unable to coordinate the overall situation from the rear.

At the same time, Oberyn nominated someone who surprised everyone.

The Targaryen dynasty allowed for the safe end of a term of office, with the outgoing King's Hand having an unspoken rule of recommending a successor to the king.

Before stepping down as First Lord of the Sea and Prime Minister, Jeffrey Brecken recommended Oberon to Viserys as his next prime minister.

Oberon's term was rather short, lasting only a little over six months, after which he resigned and recommended Attorney General Jon Clinton, with whom he did not have a particularly amicable personal relationship.

Oberyn's recommendation to reinstate the former King of Targaryens was unexpected by everyone.

Is Jon Clinton capable?

This is undoubtedly true.

Jon Clinton was originally Aerys II's Prime Minister. He personally commanded the army loyal to the royal family in battles against the four great houses of the usurper alliance, and managed the nation's resources with great efficiency, demonstrating his strong abilities.

Unfortunately, Jon Clinton was ultimately defeated and unable to save the crumbling Targaryen dynasty.

However, there are many factors contributing to the defeat, and it cannot be solely blamed on him.

Jon Snow has no doubt that he possesses the ability and experience to serve as Hand of the King, making him perfectly suited for the current situation.

However... the problem is that Oberyn's relationship with the other party is not very harmonious, and there are even some conflicts.

Even so, Oberyn's willingness to recommend him surprised and impressed everyone present.

Jon Clinton actually fits Viserys' expectations of the next Prime Minister.

Although the new dynasty is full of talented people, only Jon Snow has relevant work experience, so he is naturally the best choice for the next prime minister.

The new dynasty's first prime minister, Jeffrey Brecken, was a man of outstanding achievements who rose to the position of prime minister through his accumulated merits. The second prime minister, Oberon, was highly educated, possessing six academic links that were unmatched by anyone else.

Viserys was pleased with Oberyn's recommendation, and then sought Jon Clinton's opinion.

Jon was indeed slightly surprised, but in the end he did not refuse and nodded in agreement.

Oberyn handed the King's Hand medal to Jon Clinton, and the two officially swapped positions.

Oberyn became the Lord Attorney, while Jon Snow took over as Hand of the King and wore the Order of the King on his chest.

As the newly appointed Prime Minister during the war, Jon Clinton's mission in office was inevitably revenge, whether it was personal revenge or the revenge of the Targaryen family.

Winning the upcoming war and reclaiming the Iron Throne are the ultimate goals of the entire army.

However, there is an even bigger obstacle in front of this goal: repelling the White Walkers' attack first.

This is an enemy that all of humanity must face.

Viserys had initially wanted to wait a little longer, but the news of the White Walkers' attack on the Iron Islands became the final straw that broke his resolve.

Chapter 381 Cersei's Plan

"demon."

"The White Walkers."

"The gods."

At night, Viserys sat quietly in his study, lost in thought.

Lately, too many things have happened, which has made him feel unusually anxious. The matter of the black mist has always been his biggest concern because it involves himself, and now this mystery has finally made a breakthrough.

Combining the miscellaneous notes left by the Valyrian nobles with the nightmare he had, we can basically deduce some things.

Dreams in this world often carry strong symbolic meanings. Viserys rarely dreams, but every time he does, he dreams of something unusual.

"The gods destroyed Valyria because they discovered that Valyria was making a deal with the demons..."

"Was Valyria able to rise so quickly from a small nomadic tribe to become a 'dragon herder race' because they made a deal with demons?"

"But what exactly is a demon?"

Viserys held a wine glass in his hand, the crystal wine swirling within, before taking a sip.

He used to be someone who vehemently disliked tobacco and alcohol, but now, when faced with some troubles, he can't help but use them to distract himself.

None of the books that have mentioned the word 'demon' so far have clearly explained what this 'demon' actually is.

What do they look like? Three heads? Nine arms?

Or... this word, which means 'demon' or 'evil' in Valyrian, has another meaning that the Valyrians are not referring to.

Unfortunately, Viserys was able to gather very little information. As Dr. Marwin explained, only a few of the most powerful families among the forty ancient families possessed the core secrets of this Freehold.

The 'Shepherds,' or rather the 'Dragon Shepherds,' the Beleris family holds this secret, but the Targaryen family, which ranks last among the forty families, is not included.

The Dreamer, Daenerys Targaryen, merely foresaw the impending crisis and moved her entire clan to Dragonstone, which was the outpost of the Freehold.

The mighty Freehold enslaved many civilizations, but never set foot in Westeros.

Because the Targaryen family records contain a prophecy from a legendary Valyrian prophet that a world-destroying crisis would arise in the Sunset Sea region, Freehold was halted at Dragonstone.

"If that dream I had was real, then the towering black mist I glimpsed in my last breath when I fled Valyria might have been the remains of the Fourteen Peaks of Fire."

Viserys couldn't help but think of it, and then a whole host of other questions came flooding back.

"So what lies beneath the remains of the Fourteen Fire Peaks?"

Where does that bottomless abyss lead?

"The seven levels of hell? Or the home of demons?"

Why are the Valyrians so obsessed with capturing slaves all over the world and sending them endlessly to their deaths beneath the Fourteen Peaks of Fire? What are they trying to find underground?

He thought the information he had gathered from this operation would be enough to unravel the mystery of the black fog, but he did not expect it to uncover an even greater secret and pique Viserys's curiosity.

But despite his curiosity, Viserys remained calm, knowing that now was not the time for him to make a mistake.

The White Walkers problem hasn't been solved yet, so he shouldn't provoke the legendary demons now, or the world will become a mess.

Unless he possesses some kind of time-space teleportation ability, he could transfer the White Walkers, the army of the dead, and even the Night King, who are currently engulfing the entire North, to the Valyrian ruins.

Let the corrupted monsters, humans, sea monsters, dragons, and legions of the dead in those Valyrian ruins fight each other like dogs.

If that were really possible, Viserys would be quite looking forward to it.

His gaze then fell upon the map not far away, as well as the military plan that the generals loyal to the Targaryen family had discussed during the day.

The Dothraki and the Golden Company would act as the vanguard; the Dothraki wanted to kill, and the Golden Company craved honor. They would be the first to land in Westeros.

The Andal and Rhoynar legions will serve as the final, elite forces.

This time, however, Renis was not left to oversee the country.

Because of the enemy he is about to face, Viserys will naturally have to go all out to challenge the Night King.

He needed another dragon knight to fight alongside him. Daenerys was too young, so the new dynasty's eldest princess, with her combat experience, was the obvious first choice.

...

"The White Walkers."

"Dragon."

"Dothraki".

Inside St. Beller's Cathedral.

Her long, golden hair reflected the dim candlelight. A beautiful queen, with a perfectly proportioned figure and an air of elegance, crossed her arms over her chest and gently bit her white teeth, muttering these words.

She then turned around and looked at the white-clad knight standing behind her, speaking with a complex expression.

“I used to think these things were just legends, but these legendary things have appeared one by one.”

"I saw the bones left by the dragons in the Red Keep's cellars. Robert didn't like them, so he moved them underground."

When the beautiful blonde queen recalled the first time she saw the giant dragon skull, she looked somewhat dazed.

"They...are too big."
