However, this "gentle" is clearly more of a joke than an actual description; Ada seems even more irritable than her king husband.

The number of giants was extremely small, and many had died in battles against humans and White Walkers. The wildlings did not know if there were any other giants.

But they only encountered these two giants while they were wandering and hiding in the North; perhaps all the other giants had already died.

When Viserys realized that they were likely the last two giants in the world, his gaze toward them became unusual, as if he were looking at a first-class protected animal, a beast destined for prison.

And they're a male and a female.

Giants are humanoid beings, and obviously cannot be classified as humans. It is no wonder that even the Dothraki look at giants with fear, because they are too tall.

Viserys, accompanied by a wildling translator, tried to speak with the giant king, but the king ignored him, leaving Viserys somewhat frustrated.

However, when the other party saw that Viserys could ride a dragon, their eyes widened slightly in surprise.

Viserys found it quite amusing that a seemingly weak human could control a monster far more powerful than himself.

"Hey."

"Want to make a bet, guys?"

Gollum-

Viserys rode on his warhorse, while the iron cages containing the two giants were placed on two chariots and pulled by several packhorses.

The dragon roared as it circled in the sky, while the endless Dothraki army slowly advanced on the ground. Viserys followed beside the carriage and chatted with Magdor for a few moments.

"If you defeat me, I will let you leave."

"If you lose, you will have to 'submit' to me."

In ancient Chinese, submission is not quite the same as in common usage. It's more like 'recognizing an elder brother,' much like how a giant once willingly helped Mance Rayder, the king of the Great Wall. The binding force is not as strong as that between a monarch and his subjects.

He didn't chat much with 'Gentle Ada', firstly because the woman had a bad temper, and secondly because her husband was nearby, and Viserys wanted to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

Although Mag had a temper that wasn't as volatile as his wife's, he was rather taciturn and seemed resigned to his fate, staying in the cage without much struggle. However, Viserys thought that Mag hadn't resigned himself to his fate and was waiting for the right opportunity.

Upon hearing the ancient language translated by the savage, Mag, who had gray and white fur, slowly turned his head. Compared to his huge head, his eyes were not large, but compared to a normal person, they were still huge eyes.

Mag's eyes were greyish-black, and he stared coldly at Viserys, as if he were looking at a fool.

He had never heard of any human who wanted to test his strength against him; he could smash this little guy in front of him into mincemeat with a single punch.

However, this presented him with a good opportunity to escape...

Then Mag slowly nodded.

“Kao”.

Meanwhile, Kago, the Blood Guard who was following him, was shocked to hear that Viserys wanted to fight this big guy one-on-one.

However, Kago was not intimidated and offered to fight the big guy in Viserys' place.

In Dothraki custom, if Khal is challenged by a member of his own tribe, he must intervene himself. However, there are many exceptions. If even unknown individuals come to challenge Khal, he will be overwhelmed with work.

However, Khal was provoked by an external enemy, and the Blood Alliance Guard should rightfully take his place in the battle.

Kagor drew his Valyrian steel arrac scimitar to volunteer for battle, but was stopped by Viserys.

"os".

The silver-haired young man turned his head and glanced at his loyal Blood Alliance Guard.

He wanted to fight the giant because he was confident, while Kago going up there would really be suicide.

Viserys has a pretty good learning ability, mainly thanks to his mental strength of nearly thirty, which allows him to remember many things with just a little attention.

He has now mastered three languages: Westeros Common, Valyrian High, and Dothraki.

If he chats with the savage translator a few more times, he might be able to master some simple ancient phrases.

"My blood of blood."

Upon hearing Káo's order, Kágó could only lower his head, sheath his scimitar, and stand aside.

Meanwhile, the giant king, Mighty Mag, had been released from his cage, his heavy footsteps landing on the ground.

"call--"

The giant exhaled white breath from his large nostrils, slightly stretching his limbs that had been bound for many days.

While the Dothraki around them looked at the giant with some fear in their eyes, having indeed expended considerable effort when capturing him, the atmosphere instantly became excited upon hearing that Khal was going to personally fight the giant.

"Kao!"

"Riding the Dragon Kao!"

"Kill this big guy! Chop off his thing and make soup!"

With their faces painted and their bodies covered in thick fur to ward off the cold, the Dothraki drew their scimitars from their waists, raised them high to reflect the sunlight, and let out piercing howls.

Such one-on-one combat is more likely to stimulate the Dothraki's adrenaline.

Chapter 402 Recapturing the Giants

Viserys also dismounted from his horse.

wow-

The chains of his sword clanged. He wasn't wearing armor; like the Dothraki warriors around him, he was simply wearing a thick animal skin cloak.

The Dothraki were originally extremely averse to wearing armor, but unfortunately the North was so damn cold that these Dothraki, who had never seen such a grand scene before, were freezing to death, their faces pale and even shivering as they walked.

Fortunately, Jon Clinton had the foresight to know the situation in the North, having served as the King of the Seven Kingdoms.

When the royal army planned to attack the north, they stockpiled a large amount of furs and cotton in order to prepare winter clothing for the soldiers who went to the north to quell the rebellion.

Unfortunately, the royalist army was routed before it even reached the North, rendering the stockpiled supplies useless. They were likely looted by the Lannister army when King's Landing was captured.

Now that winter has arrived, the North is bound to be a frozen hell on earth.

Jon Clinton, as First Minister, demanded that the Dothraki wear furs and armor, but this was met with strong opposition from Khal, who saw it as destroying Dothraki tradition and even threatened to complain to his own Khal.

However, Jon did not argue with Kagor; he had already anticipated this outcome.

Despite the Dothraki's initial refusal, he quickly gathered enough furs and commissioned tailors and craftsmen to make animal skin cloaks. The vests were lined with boiled leather armor, and metal plates were fitted to certain key areas for protection, making it a reinforced version of scale armor.

These furs and scales, which provided warmth, were then taken to White Harbor by ship.

Viserys learned of this, but he did not disregard the Dothraki tradition and ordered that the warriors of Khalasar must wear armor.

However, less than half a day later, Kago, on behalf of his fellow countrymen, took the initiative to come to Kao and cautiously asked if he could wear something warm.

Although the Dothraki were savage, they were not made of steel. They lived in the warm grasslands year-round and had never seen such a freezing cold.

Therefore, these Dothraki warriors voluntarily put on the fur armor that Jon Clinton had made for them, and they treasured it so much that they didn't even want to take it off when they slept.

The Dothraki experienced the benefits of armor for the first time.

The wind was chilly in the river region. Although there was no snow, the temperature felt quite cold.

Viserys was dressed in all black, with a metal dragon head badge pinned to his chest, a black and red cloak, and a grey and white wolfskin cloak over his shoulders, the fine fur fluttering slightly in the wind. A longsword hung at his waist, and a Valyrian steel dagger was at his other side.

King Mag the Giant was ready, raising his massive head to look at the little creature before him.

Viserys stood before the giant without fear, his pale purple eyes conveying a calm composure. He had seen the Night King, let alone a giant.

He then smiled slightly and nodded.

"bring it on."

Viserys began in the ancient language.

Upon hearing his words, the giant Mag was slightly taken aback, seemingly not expecting that he had mastered the ancient language in just a few days.

But he didn't think about it too much. Now was the crucial opportunity for him to escape, so he roared and pounced.

"Roar--"

The Giant King stood four meters tall, almost two and a half times taller than Viserys, and his enormous size brought an extremely strong sense of oppression.

However, Viserys spent most of his time with the giant Bellerion, who was tens of meters tall, so he didn't feel any discomfort in the face of giants.

Call ~

Mag threw a powerful punch, but Viserys nimbly dodged it, the punch hitting the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust.

"It is huge, but it is not slow at all."

Viserys was slightly surprised.

The Dothraki surrounding them formed a huge circle.

Seeing their Khal fearlessly facing the giant, they immediately raised their scimitars and cheered.

King Mag the Giant was enraged. Changing his previously taciturn nature, he pounded his chest and then pounced on the slippery little creature once more.

However, the silver-haired youth was incredibly agile, almost toying with the large creature in front of him, and dodged away once again.

The Dothraki cheered even louder, while the wildling translator and the gentle female giant Ada were almost dumbfounded. They had never imagined that Mag would one day be completely outmaneuvered by a weak human.

The giant king tried desperately to grab his opponent but to no avail. Then, instead of drawing his sword, Viserys drew a Valyrian steel dagger from his waist and rolled over, stabbing him in the knee.

Mag let out a deafening roar, slammed one knee to his knees, but then fiercely opened his arms and embraced Viserys.

However, the silver-haired youth dodged again with a roll on the spot, and then the dagger pierced his lower back once more.

The giant's blood stained the earth, and the Dothraki, seeing Khal gaining the upper hand and hunting the behemoth, roared even more frenziedly.

"Kill him!"

"Kill him!"

"Cut off his head! Peel off his scalp!"

They anticipated a more bloody scene, seeing their Khao personally hunt down a gigantic savage, demonstrating his bravery.

Unfortunately, Viserys landed on the giant Mag's shoulder, and a sharp dragonsteel dagger was already pressed against the back of his neck.

He could have killed the giant with just a little effort, but his hand stopped amidst Mag's heavy, rapid breathing.

“You lost, Margot.”

The silver-haired youth spoke to the giant king in ancient language.
