A note at the end (Crazy An's story is finished, yay!)
Crazy An has ended; it's the shortest volume in the entire series.
Actually, from the very beginning, Kuang An presented me with quite a challenge.
When I started writing this book, I was thinking that I would write about all seven job classes. I had a rough idea of the other job classes in my mind, but I really didn't know where to start with the Angry One.
Berserker, without reason.
How to write a protagonist who has absolutely no rationality? This has presented me with a huge challenge.
Can readers really like a protagonist who is completely irrational?
But later, at the end of the Lawrence chapter, I came up with a good idea—or rather, a good idea.
Then, we have the Mad An episode that you are seeing now.
I chose a rather unique way to write about this anno.
I created a protagonist who isn't the main character, Serim Zolgen.
It also created a protagonist who is not the main character, Nora Broer (Arnold I).
What are your thoughts on this Anno? How would you rate it?
As I mentioned in a previous comment:
In Britain, I wrote of Anno's loyalty and hymns;
In Florence, I wrote Lawrence's Love and Pride;
In Japan, I wrote about the changes and contradictions in Samura;
In Atlantis, I wrote about Ocean's freedom and rebellion.
Now we're in London, and after all this time, we've come full circle.
However, this time the theme is despair and madness.
The Mad An chapter actually has some other special significance.
First, as the fifth Anno solo story, it connects the Saber, Caster, and Assassin stories. Second, reaching this point means that the first major part of the book is about to be half completed.
The next chapter will be the highly original Fourth Singularity (also known as the Passion of Lawrence).
Why include a singularity plot point?
Firstly, I don't want to create too much of a sense of division.
Everyone is still immersed in the passing of the previous anno, and then the next anno is happily born. This kind of writing will create a huge gap in the reader's experience. Therefore, the Singularity chapter is the buffer zone that I created.
Secondly, Anno, having become a Heroic Spirit, needs a stage to showcase herself.
After finishing this chapter, I only posted the character's original panel, without writing any actual combat details. This was just for fun, but also to tell everyone that my character in my book truly lived in that era, and was not just a figure of speech that was written down and then disappeared.
Thirdly, it connects all the plot points.
As you can see from the current state of this book, it is divided into two storylines. One is the individual chapters of the Annos, and the other is the chapter about Chaldea saving humanity.
I hope to use singularities to connect all the storylines and lead to that final grand finale.
Well, anyway, I guess my saying that "no matter how sad the ending is, the story will still be full of laughter" won't apply to this one.
Oh right, and there's also Ruslan, which everyone's been asking about.
Who is Luslan? I don't know.
So, thank you all again for coming to read my book. (bows)

Chapter 700 Lawrence's Mental Failure
Lawrence sat at his desk in his workshop, rubbing his temples, looking dejected.
“Ruslan…”
She recalled the old butler who had always been by her side during her lifetime, and couldn't help but feel a little scared.
This feeling of being spied on made Lawrence very uncomfortable.
“Not just me, those guys are the same, right…” Lawrence thought of the other differentiated individuals.
“Servant, doctor, brother, researcher…” Lawrence muttered to himself as he browsed the information on the page.
Suddenly, she noticed a page.
Lawrence frowned as he brought up the page: "This is... a fairy tale manuscript?"
"This story is dedicated to... the legend of the 'Monster of London' that my father's old friend once heard in London?" Lawrence zoomed in on the page, looking at the last words Andersen left in the manuscript.
Her jewel-like, wine-red eyes involuntarily dimmed.
Is it... a story based on the incident involving Arno's child?
Lawrence decided to read the fairy tales written by this great fairy tale writer based on Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The story was short, and after reading it, Lawrence couldn't help but complain: "These story writers just love to allude to this and that. Isn't it enough to allude to this in articles for adults? Why do they have to allude to this in fairy tales?"
"......etc."
She noticed some small details.
“This minister…” Her eyes narrowed.
......
Half an hour later, Lawrence, with dark circles under his eyes, stood in front of the whiteboard in his workshop, deep in thought.
“This minister’s situation basically matches that of Ruslan,” Lawrence said confidently. “The black magician broke the minister’s cane in front of the prince and the monster, which is equivalent to the magician killing Ruslan in front of Arno. This matches up.”
"Moreover... in terms of the order of deployment, Arno is the fifth, and if nothing unexpected happens, Luslan should also appear with us in different eras. Here... the cane is exactly the fifth generation."
She tapped her whiteboard.
"If nothing unexpected happens, Hans Christian Andersen knows something..."
Lawrence frowned slightly and pursed his lips.
“However, given the current conditions in Chaldea, it’s impossible to conduct an investigation.” With a sigh, she paced back and forth in the workshop. “Moreover, the fact that people who lived in that era were not recorded is also a point worth noting.”
"He has a way to erase his traces, or perhaps history doesn't allow him to leave any traces?"
"Then why were Andersen's fairy tales able to be recorded?"
"...No matter how you look at it, there are unreasonable aspects."
She has been investigating this matter ever since she returned from the Third Singularity, but so far, all she has been able to find out is about Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales.
dong dong dong.
There was a knock on the door.
"Lawrence, may I come in?" Leonardo da Vinci's voice came from outside the door.
“Leonardo? Come in.” Lawrence shook his head and opened the door.
As Leonardo entered, Lawrence anxiously asked, "How did it go? What's the result?"
Da Vinci looked very serious and puzzled: "It's impossible. We can't get the information through any means. We've tried everything, but Roman and Ritsuka just can't hear or see it. They can't find out the name no matter what they try."
“That…name that only we know.” Leonardo looked into Lawrence’s eyes. “Ruslan.”
Lawrence clicked his tongue, pulled over a stool, and sat down.
"Just as I suspected, as it stands, Ruslan, our old friend whose true identity we don't know, can only exist in the minds of those who have had direct contact with him in the form of 'memory,' and nothing else will be passed down."
“The words will be erased, the traces will be cleaned, the records will be cut out,” Lawrence said, taking a deep breath.
Both of them fell silent, unsure of what to say.
"What are the results of your investigation?"
"Go look at the whiteboard over there yourself." Lawrence pointed wearily to the whiteboard behind him. "How is Director Olga Marie's soul?"
“I have no clue. Without a physical body, it’s difficult to even create an artificial human, let alone possess him.” Da Vinci was multitasking, chatting with Lawrence while looking at the large amount of information Lawrence had listed on the whiteboard. “I observed it during Singularity F. The possession method that Anno used seems unheard of now, and it’s impossible to replicate.”
"When it comes to protecting others, that guy is better than anyone else..." Lawrence replied listlessly. "What about the singularity? Has Roman located it yet?"
"The location has been determined, but the time is still being calculated in reverse." Da Vinci was increasingly confused while also having to answer Lawrence's questions.
Where?
"London."
"Huh?" Lawrence was taken aback.
"What's wrong?" Leonardo da Vinci turned and glanced at her.
"...It's nothing." Lawrence suddenly felt uneasy for some reason. "Take me to see the director's soul. It needs to be dealt with; leaving it there like this isn't a good thing."
"…Are you really okay?" Da Vinci paused for a moment, then looked at Lawrence with some concern. "Your mental state has been terrible lately."
"It's alright, I'm fine." Lawrence stood up and waved casually. "Let's hurry over there."
“…Alright then.” Leonardo da Vinci could only nod, but his eyes still held a hint of worry as he looked at Lawrence.
Lawrence has been acting like a madman lately. These past two days, she felt that something was wrong with Lawrence, so she forcibly intervened in the investigation of Lawrence, just to help him recover a little.
But now it seems...
Let's improvise. If all else fails, Leonardo da Vinci plans to let Lawrence rest for a while and go to this London singularity himself.
Upon arriving at Leonardo da Vinci's workshop, Lawrence conducted his routine observations of Olga Marie.
"Hmm... let's find a way to fill this void first, and it's time to perform the possession." Lawrence sighed, "I'm sorry, it's my fault. I said I would perform the possession once I returned to Chaldea, but I've been putting it off until now."
