The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Suddenly, a scream that almost pierced the eardrums rang out.
Peeves, now completely transparent, appeared suddenly from the air above Medea's head like a phantom shadow.
"devil!"
He flew at incredible speed behind Dumbledore, staring at Medea in utter terror.
"You monster! You hateful woman!"
He then poked his head out from under Dumbledore's shoulder and snarled.
"Ok?"
Medea glanced at him as if it were an unintentional gesture.
"Aaaaaaahhhhh... Help... I hate you..."
Peeves flew into the entrance corridor like a deflated balloon and quickly hid.
Medea smiled dismissively and extended her palm.
A gleaming white bone wand pierced the skin of her palm and slowly emerged, which she grasped in her hand.
"This is the only thing I left behind after I died."
She gently stroked the bone wand with her other hand.
“It’s also the wand that best suits me.” She looked up at Scott and Dumbledore.
Scott heard Dumbledore say in a deep voice, "You have murdered two wizards, Lady Slytherin."
"Yaxley and Lockhart?"
Medea chuckled softly.
“I will remember them, just as I will remember my husband, for they both contributed to my new life.”
Dumbledore added, "Next, you want to kill even more people, for the sake of a complete new life."
“You’re right, Principal.”
Medea readily admitted it.
"Besides that, I also need the descendant who sacrificed part of his soul for me; I need his complete soul."
She looked at Dumbledore with a half-smile, "Isn't this what you wanted? The greatest wizard in the world, the headmaster of Hogwarts, Mr. Dumbledore."
“No, I did not expect that, Ms. Slytherin.”
Dumbledore sighed and shook his head.
“I do want to completely defeat Tom, but I won’t do it that way.”
"His name is Tom?" Medea suddenly looked disgusted. "That's a really bad name. No wonder he changed it to Voldemort."
Dumbledore looked at her and said with a sigh, "Perhaps you will become a more dangerous wizard than Tom, Lady Slytherin."
"Danger?"
Medea wore an expression of complete incomprehension.
"I've learned some information from modern times, and I have to say, the magical world a thousand years from now is far too peaceful. If this continues, the abilities of wizards will become weaker and weaker."
She shook her head.
"The level of seventh-year students at Hogwarts these days is truly appalling! Do you think the wizards you train will only know how to use magic for housework after graduation?"
“Times have changed, Madam Slytherin,” Dumbledore explained. “Peace is always a good thing.”
“No!” Medea’s eyes turned cold. “You are turning wolves into sheep, weakening the survival of the entire wizard race!”
Chapter 145 Medea's Evaluation of Voldemort
Taming wolves into sheep?
Scott found Medea's words quite interesting.
Perhaps the wizards of a thousand years ago followed the rules of the jungle, the law of the jungle, but now they must put on a cloak of civilization.
Wizards are human too.
Although wizards hide themselves under the Law of Secrecy and seem to be detached from Muggle society, they are ultimately not immune to the influence of the overall environment of human society.
From the establishment of the Ministry of Magic, the powers of its various departments, and the formulation of modern laws, to newspapers, magazines, radio stations, and means of transportation, etc...
The magical world bears the marks of modern civilization everywhere.
However, Medea's words also make sense.
As someone with memories of his past life, Scott knew all too well how astonishing Muggle technology would become if it continued to develop in this way.
With the advent of the all-pervasive information age, can wizards really continue to hide like this?
Given the current situation, the wizards' power is insufficient to completely intimidate Muggles.
Dumbledore seemed to pause for a moment in response to Medea's words.
"You may have a point, Ms. Slytherin."
He spoke slowly.
"But this is the choice of the times, and also the choice of most wizards. Everyone likes a stable and peaceful life."
"Really?" Medea seemed skeptical. "In my opinion, there will never be a lack of ambitious people in any era."
Dumbledore shook his head and sighed, "Ambitious people stir up trouble to achieve their ambitions, but it is the majority of ordinary people who suffer and sacrifice. Just like Tom, I don't know if you have heard of his deeds."
And your old flame.
Scott silently added a comment in his mind.
“My descendant? I’ve heard some of his stories recently.”
Medea said with a hint of disdain.
"I have to say, he was incredibly stupid and narrow-minded."
"Oh?" Dumbledore's eyes flickered, seemingly showing some interest. "So, what do you think of him?"
“Power is power, there’s no need to distinguish its source. A wizard is a wizard, there’s no need to look at bloodlines differently.”
Medea said it was only natural.
"Focusing solely on pure-blood wizards and seeking support by stirring up internal conflicts among wizards is opportunistic and a shortcut."
She shook her head again, her eyes showing disdain.
"I only value the talents of wizards."
She suddenly pointed at Scott.
"Like this child, he is a wizard, and even though he is Muggle-born, he can no longer return to Muggle society. This is especially true for the more talented wizards are."
Scott said, "As far as I know, your father was against Muggle-born wizards enrolling in school?"
“Just like you said, times have changed.” Medea applied what she had learned, “In the circumstances back then, Father’s choice was right. But now… in that respect, it is indeed a better era.”
"So what is your ambition?" Dumbledore asked her. "To be like Tom, intending to dominate the wizarding world?"
Medea laughed. "Magic is power, and it is only natural that the weak are dominated by the strong."
“Even the weak are not objects to be sacrificed at will; they are our fellow human beings,” Dumbledore said.
Medea said coldly, "They only have themselves to blame for being too weak. Even wild beasts will abandon their weaker companions."
Dumbledore shook his head, clearly disagreeing with Medea's viewpoint.
He solemnly told her, "We are human beings, Lady Slytherin, and the most powerful force we possess is love."
He looked at Medea and said, “Just like you, because of your deep love for your father Salazar Slytherin, you created a miracle that has traversed a thousand years.”
"That's more than just love!"
Medea's face turned completely cold.
"That was my resentment and anger towards him! I respect him, I love him, but I hate him even more!"
"It seems there's no point in arguing."
Dumbledore raised his wand, and magic surged around him.
“I will not let you leave here, Ms. Slytherin.”
Medea raised her wand and said with a smile, "Is it finally time to make a move? We've certainly said enough today."
“I must remind you, Madam Slytherin, that you may know many of Hogwarts’ secrets.”
Dumbledore waved his wand, seemingly drawing some pattern in the air.
"But some secrets can only be learned by becoming the principal."
"Oh? I'm curious."
Medea did not make a move, but watched Dumbledore's actions with great interest.
When Dumbledore stopped moving, the lines he had drawn suddenly lit up, forming a glittering Hogwarts emblem.
"A school badge?" Medea asked in surprise. "It seems the headmaster does indeed have some privileges in this castle. I wonder what they're for?"
"You'll find out soon enough."
Dumbledore recited a difficult incantation and waved his wand.
The school badge, which had been glittering in the air, suddenly spread out and appeared at Medea's feet in the blink of an eye.
Just as Medea was about to take a step, four semi-transparent figures suddenly appeared, standing at the four corners of the school emblem.
They were actually four ghosts from the four houses of Hogwarts!
Scott's eyes widened.
"Ms. Grey?"
He was utterly astonished to see the ghosts appear.
Isn't Ms. Gray with Professor Flitwick?
