The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

"Many people know what happened at the classical music club, and they suspect that yesterday's events were related to it. However, none of them know about Medea's existence; they are just guessing."
"Did the professor instruct you to keep it a secret?" Scott asked again.
He felt that if the professor hadn't asked them to, Eddie and the Weasley twins might have held a storytelling session in the auditorium.
Eddie nodded. "Professor Flitwick reminded us last night, and Professor McGonagall reminded us again today."
He thought for a moment and then said, "I didn't expect that this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor would also... I heard that even his body disappeared, and many girls in the school are crying because of him."
Upon hearing this, Scott recalled the deaths of Lockhart and Yaxley the previous night, and suddenly the cookies in his hand lost their appeal.
"So... what exactly happened in the music room last night?"
Eddie suddenly leaned close to Scott and asked with great curiosity.
“I’ve already asked Milton, but he doesn’t know anything.”
Chapter 148 Dumbledore's Brief Explanation
In response to Eddie's question, Scott smiled helplessly, "Medea has left Hogwarts, and the wizarding world may undergo tremendous changes."
"Did she really kill Lockhart and that Yaxley?" Eddie stared in horror. "Thank goodness you and Milton are alright."
Scott shook his head and said no more.
Next, he took a shower and changed the entire set of sheets and blankets on the bed before feeling refreshed and ready to eat.
“By the way,” he asked Eddie, “how many people know I was there last night too?”
He was taken there by Dumbledore's phoenix last night; not many people should know that.
Eddie patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, only Roger and I know. He only told us when we went to Professor Flitwick to find out what was going on."
"Carlo didn't say anything?" Scott raised an eyebrow.
“Carlo?” Eddie asked in surprise. “Is he here too? I’ve never seen him before.”
"He's not at the school hospital?" Scott was also surprised.
Eddie shook his head.
Scott hoped Dumbledore would take him to the Ministry of Magic for questioning.
If that guy doesn't get the punishment he deserves in prison, he wouldn't mind taking matters into his own hands.
At this moment, Scott suddenly felt that it was actually quite good to have Medea causing trouble in the wizarding world.
Ideally, it would tie up most of the Ministry of Magic and Dumbledore's attention, so that I wouldn't have to be so restrictive in whatever I did.
Otherwise, it would be quite frustrating if someone wanted to kill you, but you couldn't kill them with your own hands.
Just like last night.
Did Scott not want to just kill Carlo and Yaxley directly?
He certainly wanted to, but he knew he couldn't.
After all, killing someone in Dumbledore's sight is not a good idea.
Even in self-defense, it's best not to.
A student who can kill decisively and cleanly is likely to be closely watched by the headmaster, making his situation even more uncomfortable.
Of course, reason led Scott to make the best choice for himself.
But he is not a completely rational person after all, and naturally some negative emotions such as displeasure will arise in his heart.
Scott and Eddie arrived at the auditorium, where it was nearly dinner time and the students were gradually taking their seats at the long tables.
Scott noticed that many students looked unwell, and the atmosphere in the auditorium was somewhat heavy.
Even when people were discussing something, they only whispered and no one spoke loudly.
It's probably because what happened last night was too frightening.
Scott had just sat down at the Ravenclaw table when he saw Harry walking toward him.
"Scott."
He asked softly.
"Excuse me, could you come with me for a moment?"
As he spoke, he glanced back.
Scott looked in that direction and, sure enough, it was Ron and Hermione standing at the entrance to the Great Hall.
“You want to ask about yesterday?” Scott whispered to Harry.
Harry smiled shyly and nodded. "Is that okay?"
Scott asked, somewhat puzzled, "How did you know to ask me?"
Harry scratched his head, looking somewhat conflicted, but still said, "Fred let it slip."
Scott turned his head and looked directly at Fred, who was sitting at the Gryffindor table.
Fred clearly sensed his gaze, but he pretended not to notice and kept turning his head to look in another direction.
Scott stared at him for a few more seconds before looking away.
Then he stood up, leaned close to Harry's ear and whispered, "I can only tell you one thing, Harry, what happened yesterday had nothing to do with Voldemort."
"you……"
Harry looked up at him in surprise.
"You called him by his first name!"
The way he looked at Scott was like he was looking at a like-minded friend.
Isn't your focus a bit off?
Scott couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth.
He really wanted to tell the child directly that he was just saying it casually and had no intention of joining the savior's team.
“If you want to know more details later, just ask Dumbledore,” he said to Harry.
Then he saw Dumbledore leading the professors into the Great Hall.
"Ah, he's here."
Scott gestured to the professors, then turned and sat back down in his seat.
Harry glanced back and then ran back quickly.
Dumbledore led all the professors of the school into the front of the Great Hall, under the watchful eyes of the students.
After the professors were seated in the faculty section, Dumbledore stepped forward alone.
At that moment, the auditorium fell silent as everyone looked at him, waiting for him to speak.
Dumbledore's expression was somewhat somber. He glanced around the Great Hall before finally speaking.
"As you all probably already know, something happened at Hogwarts last night, something unprecedented."
He got straight to the point.
"I fought a terrible enemy hiding in Hogwarts, and unfortunately, your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Professor Lockhart, was killed in the battle last night."
That's what you call a battle?
Scott thought to himself.
At that moment, he heard some sobbing sounds coming from all around him.
He noticed that many of the female students present had tears in their eyes.
"Professor Lockhart is truly brave."
"Perhaps we've all misunderstood him..."
"I knew it... how could a wizard who could write those works be a good-for-nothing..."
"Isn't the enemy the one to watch out for? How could anyone kill Professor Lockhart under Dumbledore's protection?"
"too frightening!"
Scott discovered that quite a few people actually believed Dumbledore's claims.
"I need to remind everyone that a terrible enemy has escaped from Hogwarts."
Dumbledore continued speaking, his eyes constantly scanning the students.
“Her identity is somewhat special.” He paused, “but I can assure you that everything I’m saying is true.”
"who is it?"
"She's a witch?"
Upon hearing Dumbledore refer to "her," the students began to discuss it in surprise.
"Quiet!"
Professor McGonagall, who was sitting in the faculty seat, tapped her cup with her wand.
Once the Great Hall was quiet again, Dumbledore uttered the name, "Medea Slytherin, she is Salazar Slytherin's daughter."
"what?"
"how is this possible?"
At this moment, the students were stunned, and many of them couldn't help but stand up.
"This must be a scam..."
"Slytherin's daughter?"
"How can a wizard live to be a thousand years old?"
"Could the legend of Avalon be true?"
"Perhaps Slytherin taught her some kind of evil dark magic."
Students from the other three houses all looked curiously at the Slytherin table.
