All three of them gaped open.

Scott added, "Which of these two types of fortune tellers do you think sounds more respectable? Which makes people more willing to spend money on them?"

"I see!"

The three nodded vigorously.

"I understand! I know what to do!"

Eddie said thoughtfully.

"Although this is a business, we can't treat it as just a business."

Fred's eyes lit up. "Master Trollope is not willing to do divination easily. He will only help out of consideration for us good friends."

“It seems we can’t do too many divinations,” George said, stroking his chin. “We need to screen the students who want divinations to make the spots more valuable.”

“Very good.” Scott smiled with satisfaction. “It seems you all know what to do.”

"Of course, please feel free to leave it to us."

The twins immediately gave a strange bow, and Eddie followed suit.

Scott nodded. "Then, let's talk about how to distribute the profits."

Chapter 175 A Mysterious Letter

As night fell, Scott was alone in his dorm room.

Ever since Scott agreed to make money through arithmetic, Eddie has been working like a maniac, spending all his time with the Weasley twins.

Scott didn't care how they actually operated; he just wanted the selected clients to be brought to him.

Roger is battling it out on the Quidditch pitch.

As February progressed, the Quidditch matches between the four Houses became increasingly intense.

Currently, all four teams are making the most of every minute to train, even in the evenings.

Milton also went to the classical music club to practice, and in this respect, he hardly wasted any of his free time.

Scott sat on a single sofa by the window in his dormitory, fiddling with a bright red gemstone in his hand.

This was the gift Medea gave him: a one-time use Philosopher's Stone.

He hadn't had a chance to properly examine this treasure since he got his hands on it, but now that his roommates weren't around, he could finally take it out and study it.

In terms of magical perception, this magic stone was like an aggregate of highly concentrated magic, constantly radiating magical fluctuations as conspicuous as the sun.

Scott held it in his hand and stroked it, looking at it for a long time, but he still couldn't figure it out.

Of course, he wasn't surprised by this.

Even though it's a one-time use magic stone, it's still a magic stone.

If it were so easy to see anything, then the Philosopher's Stone could not be considered the pinnacle of alchemy.

Scott was more concerned with whether or not to use it.

By using this one-time magic stone, he can obtain a highly intelligent shapeshifting artifact.

According to his plan, the fully-formed Raven Rambo would also be of great help to his battle, which would undoubtedly directly enhance his strength.

But this is a magic stone.

There is only one.

Once you use it, it's gone.

Although Scott didn't know where to start, he was eager to study it.

If he could master the method of creating such a one-time magic stone, wouldn't he make a fortune?

Putting aside other uses, if one-time use magic stones are treated as consumables in battle...

He could easily use modern spells to create the turret-like effect of ancient spells.

What was that saying again...?

More is better, bigger is better, caliber is justice, turret is truth...

The spell is as thick as a water bucket, turning single-target attacks into area-of-effect attacks. Are you scared yet?

Just thinking about it made Scott almost drool.

But he could only dream about it.

This is clearly not realistic.

He tossed the warm stone in his hand.

This thing is obviously not easy to manufacture; it may require a huge price to pay.

Otherwise, Slytherin and Medea would have already come up with all sorts of amazing things a thousand years ago.

After all, they're not stupid.

Thump, thump, thump.

Suddenly, Scott heard a knocking sound on the window behind him.

He turned around and saw an unfamiliar owl standing on the windowsill, looking at him with its round, golden eyes.

Scott saw the letter on its foot.

Thump, thump, thump.

The owl met his gaze and pecked at the glass three more times, as if urging him on.

"coming."

Scott got up, went over, and opened the window.

"Cuckoo..."

The owl hooted twice and lifted its foot, which was gripping the envelope.

"Thank you."

Scott reached out and took the letter, then rummaged through the cupboard and placed a bag of cookies in front of it.

"Cuckoo..."

The owl glanced at the cookies, then grabbed the cookie bag with its talons and flew away.

Scott closed the window before sitting down again to read the letter in his hand.

It was another blank envelope.

Could it be Medea again?

He opened the envelope, took out the letter inside, and began to read it.

[Dear Mr. Trollope, hello.]

I am writing to you without permission.

I am a follower of Ms. M.S., Katie Shafik.

By the way, I am not a member of the Safik family of the Twenty-Eight Sacred Clans; that family died out completely after the 1930s.

I am a half-blood wizard, it just so happens that my last name is Shafik.

Scott found this rather odd.

What is this?

What does it matter to me what your surname is?

He muttered a silent complaint and continued reading.

[Thanks to the great Ms. M.S., she is unlike any other pure-blood wizard.]

She didn't look down on me because of my bloodline; I found my self-worth here.

By the way, the reason I'm writing to you is because, starting today, I will be your contact person.

Scott unconsciously raised an eyebrow.

Liaison officer?

For your safety, I will be responsible for relaying all communications between you and Ms. M.S. from now on.

Ms. M.S. has high expectations for you and is very optimistic about your future.

Let's keep working hard for Ms. M.S.!

P.S. If you want to write to me, please send it to the Department of Magical Transportation, Ministry of Magic, Floo Network Administration.

Katie Shafik

"..."

After reading the letter, Scott felt baffled.

When did he become Medea's subordinate?

And "Please continue to work hard for Ms. M.S."?

After thinking for a moment, Scott crumpled the letter and envelope into a ball and threw it on the ground, then took out his wand.

"Flames are raging!"

With a bang, flames erupted, and the paper ball quickly burned to ashes.

Scott pushed open the window again, waved his wand, and sent the ashes flying outside.

Then he leaned against the windowsill and let the cold wind blow on him.

He decided to ignore the strange letter.

Regardless of whether Katie Shafiq was a follower of Medea or someone else, Scott would not write to her.

Anyway, Scott didn't think he had much of a relationship with Medea.

Although he accepted Medea's gift, it was given to him voluntarily.
