The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Ron blurted out.
Scott looked around and noticed that everyone present looked at him with disbelief.
Scott said to them, somewhat amused, "You think I was trying to comfort him?"
Is not it?
Everyone responded with their eyes and expressions.
“No…isn’t it?” Neville said. “You’re inspiring me…of course, I’m very grateful for that…”
"of course not."
Scott interrupted him.
“Your problem isn’t about magic,” he said, pointing to Neville’s heart, “but about your heart.”
"Heart?"
The other seven people present, besides Scott, asked the same question at the same time.
Scott glanced at the crowd again, and the six people all covered their mouths with their hands.
"Magic is the power of belief."
Scott said to Neville.
"These are the words that Dumbledore told me."
He then looked at the Weasley twins.
“Do you remember? You were there too, at that afternoon tea in the Headmaster’s office, and that’s when Dumbledore said those last words.”
Fred George shook his head.
“Sorry, I don’t remember,” Fred said.
George scratched his head. "All I remember is that the afternoon tea snacks were delicious."
"No, you remember."
Scott said irritably.
He knew that Fred and George, those two cunning guys, also had excellent memories.
Okay, we remember.
"Dumbledore did say that."
The twins said again.
“But…” Neville said, puzzled, “It’s not that I don’t believe in magic, it’s just that Muggles don’t believe in the existence of magic.”
"Yes!"
Harry couldn't help but say.
"Like my aunt and uncle, they refused to believe in magic until Hagrid conjured a pig's tail for my cousin."
At this point, he couldn't help but laugh.
"Later, they would become hysterical whenever magic was mentioned."
"That's not what I meant at all."
Scott shook his head.
He looked into Neville's eyes again.
“It’s not that you don’t believe in the existence of magic, Neville,” he said slowly. “You’re resisting magic; your heart is resisting it.”
“I didn’t,” Neville argued. “I…I’ve been trying really hard to learn.”
At this moment, Hermione stepped forward again, "I can testify that Neville is much more hardworking than Harry and Ron!"
"This has nothing to do with attitude towards learning."
Scott said.
"Nawi".
He called out, regaining Neville's attention.
"Your resistance to magic comes from deep within your heart."
Scott said.
"If I were to guess, you might even feel fear inside."
At this moment, Neville's round face turned somewhat pale.
Scott continued to explain his understanding.
"It may be because of your childhood experiences. Even if you don't have the relevant memories, your subconscious is still affected. The suffering that magic brings you makes you resist it."
Chapter 180 Hey! Are you crazy too?
"Is this real...?"
Harry couldn't help but ask.
How do you know all this?
Scott replied, "Of course I could tell."
"Look?" Ron questioned. "How are you supposed to look?"
“Perception,” Scott said. “I sensed his magical state, and what I’m saying is a conclusion drawn from his experiences.”
In fact, Scott only discovered that his magical perception had become more refined when he was sensing Neville.
He doesn't yet know what caused it.
It could be because he learned arithmetic divination, or it could be because he used that one-time use magic stone to cast a transformation spell.
However, he did not delve into these matters for the time being.
“Neville’s magic is no less than anyone else’s,” he explained, “but his magic isn’t as active as others’, or rather, his magic is somewhat inert. I think that’s what affects his studies.”
Hermione asked, "So you think it's because of something in his mind?"
Scott nodded.
"I think this way of thinking is reasonable."
He hesitated for a few seconds.
"By the way, there is someone who is better than me at observing other people's psychology and emotions; she should be able to spot some clues."
"Who?"
While the others were still wondering who Scott was talking about, Eddie immediately knew.
“You mean Luna?” he blurted out.
But the expression on his face showed that he didn't believe it.
"Really? You know, that girl has always been a bit crazy. Last semester, you said she could see emotions, but I never really believed it."
"Luna Lovegood?"
Hermione also seemed quite surprised.
“I’ve heard her name before,” she said somewhat awkwardly. “I can’t believe it… I mean, she’s only a first grader, what could she possibly be capable of?”
Scott smiled and said to Eddie, "Eddie, could you please invite Luna over? Tell her I need her help."
“Okay, I’m curious too, whether she actually has that ability.” Eddie blinked and agreed to his request.
He turned and left the classroom.
At this point, Scott said to Hermione, "It has nothing to do with age. In the wizarding world, there are always some special wizards who are born with some kind of ability that is different from ordinary people."
He looked at Ron and the twins, "You should know this better."
Although the Weasleys are known as pure-blood traitors, they still received the proper education.
For example, Ron's insights are far beyond those of Harry and Hermione.
"That's right, just like the two of us!"
Fred and George put their arms around each other's shoulders and spoke with utter arrogance.
"We are born with extraordinary intelligence and a great sense of humor!"
Don't listen to them!
Ron couldn't help but make a vomiting face.
“But Scott is right.”
He explained to Harry and Hermione.
"I've heard my father say that in the magical world there are shapeshifters who are born with the ability to shapeshift, and mind readers who are born with the ability to read minds, and..."
He glanced at Harry as he said this.
"It is said that the snake voice is also innate."
He pretended not to care.
"That's not fair!" Hermione exclaimed loudly in dissatisfaction.
"It is indeed very unfair."
Scott said.
“For example, the Disguise Magus that Ron mentioned is a kind of magic that can change one’s appearance. The Disguise Magus can change their appearance at will, but this innate ability is something that others cannot learn.”
Hermione said somewhat indignantly, "We can also use compound decoctions to change our appearance."
“Of course,” Scott shrugged, “but the disguise Magus is exceptionally convenient, isn’t it?”
Hermione finally said indignantly, "How could this be? Professor McGonagall said that even Animagus can learn!"
Scott shook his head slightly, ignoring her complaints.
