“Mr. Trollope? What a rare guest.”

The potions professor was leisurely processing some potion ingredients.

"Good evening, Professor Snape."

Scott greeted him politely.

"Good evening, Trolop. What are you doing here?" Snape asked politely, but with a hint of disdain.

Scott was once again impressed by the precise emotional expression in his tone.

“I’m here to deliver a message, Professor. I think you need to go to the Principal’s office,” he said to Snape. “You’d better bring some truth serum with you.”

"Oh?"

Snape carefully sorted and arranged the potion ingredients in his hands.

"Tell me, what happened?"

He washed his hands in a basin of clean water and then dried his fingers with a towel.

Chapter 235 The Potions Professor's Attack

Scott knew Snape wouldn't have the patience to listen to his slow, detailed explanation.

So he said as simply as possible: "Ron Weasley's pet mouse was discovered to be an illegal Animagus, a wizard named Peter Pettigrew who had lived in the Weasley household as a mouse for 12 years."

Snape paused in his action of wiping his hands with a towel.

He stared intently at Scott, as if trying to confirm whether what he said was true or false.

Scott said, "It's true, Little Pettigrew is right here in the principal's office."

Snape looked away.

He lowered his head, as if he wanted to wipe each of his fingers again.

"Very good...very good..."

He thought for a while, his emotions seeming to begin to stir, yet he also seemed to be holding back.

“Peter Pettigrew?” he chewed on the name, his tone sarcastic. “Our hero…has appeared again?”

He looked at Scott again.

“Tell me, Trollope, why did Peter spend 12 years as a mouse in the Weasleys’ house? How does he explain it?”

Scott nodded and repeated Peter's words from the principal's office.

"Maybe he's right," Snape muttered with a half-smile. "Coward, cowardly Gryffindor."

His words were full of sarcasm.

But this had no effect on Scott, who was a Ravenclaw.

At this moment, Snape's agitated emotions seemed to calm down, and his movements became slower.

He even smiled somewhat smugly. "What, does our headmaster not believe Little Pettigrew's explanation?"

Scott just smiled and didn't answer.

The principal did not say whether he believed it or not.

Anyway, he didn't believe it, and he didn't believe the principal would believe it either.

Snape turned and walked to his medicine cabinet, reaching out to open it.

"Then why were you involved, Mr. Trollope? You know, you're not a Gryffindor student."

Scott answered honestly, "I met Ron while I was walking, noticed something was wrong with the mouse, and then told Professor McGonagall."

Snape nodded, giving Scott a strange look.

“Very good, this may be the best thing you’ve done since you started studying at Hogwarts.”

He said something that Scott couldn't tell was either a compliment or an insult, and reached into the medicine cabinet to take a small glass bottle containing a clear liquid.

"Let's go."

He turned and strode to the office door, opened it, and walked out.

Scott followed behind him.

"Come on, let's go see why that hero was a rat for 12 years."

Snape walked faster and faster, his wide black robes billowing with each step.

"us?"

Scott was somewhat surprised.

He didn't understand why Snape wanted to bring him along.

But Snape did not answer and continued walking briskly forward.

Scott thought about it for a moment, but curiosity eventually won out, so he followed them.

The potions professor walking through the castle was a formidable weapon, and pedestrians avoided him along the way.

Scott followed behind him, ignoring the stares that were filled with astonishment and curiosity.

The two quickly arrived on the third floor and stood in front of the entrance to the principal's office, which was guarded by a stone beast with a dripping spout.

"Blow Bubble Gum".

Snape gave the secret command to the ugly stone beast in a vague tone.

He acted with utter disgust, as if the word itself was an insult to him.

As soon as the entrance opened, he couldn't wait to go inside.

Scott immediately stepped forward.

The two took the automatically moving elevator and quickly ascended to the eighth floor.

Snape didn't knock; he simply grabbed the doorknob, turned it, and pushed the door open, entering the headmaster's office.

Scott tried to keep a low profile and followed quietly behind him.

"Severus, what brings you here?" Dumbledore asked Snape with some surprise as he burst through the door.

Snape ignored the old headmaster.

He first glanced at Peter, who was sitting and chatting with Professor McGonagall, then turned back to stare at Scott.

Scott kept his head down, eyes downcast, silent.

Snape stared at him for several seconds before looking away and turning to look at Peter again.

Scott slowly raised his head and stood silently against the wall.

Look who's here!

Snape's tone was somewhat uncertain as he slowly paced towards Peter.

"Isn't this our Order of Merlin, First Class, the warrior who fought the Death Eaters, the great hero who sacrificed himself until he only had one finger left, Peter Pettigrew?"

Peter's short, stout body shrank into the seat, and as Snape approached, his body shrank even smaller.

“Y-you…hello, Snape,” he stammered, trembling.

“Severus?” Professor McGonagall stood up from her chair. “What’s this?”

Snape gave a forced smile. "It's nothing, Minerva. I just heard our hero is back, so I came to say hello."

Professor McGonagall sighed. "Severus, you've all grown up and gone through so many regrettable things. I hope you can forgive and forget each other in the future."

"Yes...yes."

Peter was still trembling, but he still mustered up the courage to look up at Snape.

“Severus…Severus…we are no longer in the age of reading.”

"Humph."

Snape snorted, as if exhaling two breaths from his nostrils.

Peter immediately pulled his head back down.

"Come on, we're not that close, Little Pettigrew," Snape said sarcastically.

“Okay…okay, Snape.” Peter nodded repeatedly.

At this moment, Snape was like a school bully, not even giving Professor McGonagall any face, while Peter looked like a pitiful little bully.

Professor McGonagall stood by helplessly.

After all, Snape is now her colleague and the Dean of Students, so she can't manage him like a student.

Scott glanced at Dumbledore.

The old headmaster made no attempt to stop Snape; on the contrary, he watched the scene with great interest.

Scott looked away.

Would calling Snape over please the old headmaster?

At this moment, Snape had already walked to the front of Peter's seat, and the two were very close.

Snape looked down at Peter and asked slowly, "I heard you were a rat in the Weasleys' house for 12 years. Why?"

"I……"

Peter was about to answer when Snape said unhappily, "If you're polite, you should look me in the eye when you talk to me, Little Pettigrew."

Peter shuddered immediately, raising his head fearfully. "Okay..."

Just then, Snape suddenly launched an attack.

The small bottle of truth serum he had been hiding in his hand had been opened at some point.

Taking advantage of the moment Peter looked up and opened his mouth to speak, he swiftly poured the potion directly into Peter's mouth.

"Oh Merlin, what have you done, Severus!"

Professor McGonagall, who was brewing her anger, was stunned as she watched Snape "bully" Peter.
