The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Rimbaud said, "Didn't you say you couldn't let anyone know you were in England during the summer holidays?"
Scott laughed. "Of course, you have to be well-disguised."
After making his decision, he asked Rimbaud, "Can you give me a ride to London, my friend?"
“Of course, no problem,” Rimbaud said. “But you have to be prepared, it’s a long trip, at least three hours of full-speed flight.”
They set off early the next morning.
As usual, Scott blindfolded himself and only took it off after leaving the forest area.
Because he didn't want to be seen by people on the ground, Rimbaud flew exceptionally high this time.
The air was thin at high altitudes, so Scott had to slow Rimbaud down and put on another jacket.
Looking down at the scenery, he couldn't help but shout a few times.
"Now, speed up!"
Rimbaud responded with a cry, then flew away like an arrow into the distance.
With the enhancement of the magic rune circuit, Rimbaud's flight speed is much faster than that of ordinary birds.
Scott hugged its neck, his eyes stinging from the wind, which was not a pleasant experience.
He didn't know how much time had passed, and even when he felt that flying was a torment, Rimbaud finally flew over London and found the area where Diagon Alley was located.
Scott took out the severed arm bone and his wand, and cast an illusion spell on himself and Rimbaud respectively.
Then they descended from the sky and landed in an empty alley.
Scott rubbed his face, which was numb from the wind, and put the shrunken Rimbaud's outer garment, which he had taken off, into the transforming lizard skin bag.
“Now it’s time to start the disguise,” he said with a smile.
He took two bottles of Polyjuice Potion from his leather bag and split the same hair in two, placing each piece into a potion bottle.
He then drank one of the bottles.
"One bottle lasts for a maximum of one hour."
Scott assumed that Borgin Burke's death was still under investigation, so he did not rush to use a stranger's face, but instead borrowed Roger's image.
He put another bottle of compound decoction in his pocket and strode out of the alley.
He crossed two streets and pushed open the door of the Leaky Cauldron.
Scott stepped into the somewhat run-down bar, and the previously lively atmosphere suddenly became quiet.
After recognizing who had walked in, the bar became lively again in the next second.
But Scott could still clearly sense that most of the bar's patrons were glancing at him, whether intentionally or unintentionally, while they were drinking.
Good morning, guest.
Tom, the bar owner, came out from behind the bar and wiped his rough hands on his dirty apron.
He stared at Scott and asked, "Are you a student at Hogwarts?"
Scott nodded. "Good morning, Mr. Tom. I'm just passing by on my way to Diagon Alley."
Tom glanced at him again, waved, and turned to leave. "Okay, I remember you, young man. Go on."
Hearing him say that, the other patrons in the bar finally looked away from Scott completely.
Scott feigned a question, "What happened?"
Tom suddenly turned around, leaned close to him, and whispered, "Just yesterday, a wizard in Knockturn Alley died, and we're all on guard against strangers who suddenly appear."
“Knockdown Alley?” Scott continued, puzzled. “I’ve heard that some terrible dark wizards gather there, and people often die in that alley?”
Tom laughed. "You're not wrong, lad."
Seeing that Scott was still looking at him with confusion, he lowered his voice even further, "But the person who died yesterday was no ordinary person. He was Bokin Burke, the owner of Bokin Burke's Store, a notoriously difficult figure in Knockturn Alley."
Scott nodded, seemingly understanding, "I see. But I'm just going to Diagon Alley to buy some potion ingredients."
“Of course, Diagon Alley is safe,” Tom said with a smile.
After entering Diagon Alley, Scott went straight to Slug & Giggs Pharmacy.
Of course, he bought a bunch of potion ingredients and mixed the ones he needed into them.
"Welcome to visit us again."
Scott carried large and small bags out of the potion supply store, then stuffed them into a smaller leather bag.
He glanced around the streets of Diagon Alley but didn't notice anything unusual.
But he soon spotted a familiar figure at the entrance to Diagon Alley.
It was Snape.
The man walking with him was the same person whose photo he had seen in the newspaper the day before—the young dueling champion, Jacques Yaxley.
Scott quickly left the entrance of the potions shop and, in order to get as far away from Snape as possible, went into Florin's Ice Cream Shop, the last place Snape would ever go.
If it were anyone else, it would be fine, but he would absolutely not dare to get close to Snape, who is a Potions Master.
Who knows if Snape, as a Potions Master, could tell that he was a fake Roger who had drunk Polyjuice Potion?
Although Barty Crouch Jr., who impersonated Mad-Eye Moody using Polyjuice Potion in the original story, was not discovered by Snape, Scott still dared not challenge Snape's potion-smelling ability up close.
However, he still found it strange.
Scott, who was sitting in the ice cream shop eating ice cream, watched as the expressionless Snape and the smug Jacques Axley walked into the shop where he had just bought potion ingredients.
How did Snape end up with Jacques Yaxley?
Prior to this, Scott had thought that the newspaper's special mention of Snape's praise of Jake was just a polite gesture.
Logically speaking, given Snape's personality, he shouldn't have gotten involved in the Traverse family succession struggle.
At this time, he is getting close to Jacques Yaxley. Doesn't he care that others will think he is supporting the Yaxley family in this matter?
Scott didn't believe Snape was unaware of the situation.
Although he couldn't quite understand it, Scott didn't have time to think about it at the moment.
After Snape entered the potion-making shop, he immediately stood up with his ice cream and strode towards the Leaky Cauldron.
His best option at this moment was to leave Diagon Alley before Snape noticed him, so as to avoid the awkward situation of having to greet the professor.
And this is just Snape.
Scott would probably be even more embarrassed if he ran into other of Roger's acquaintances.
Roger!
But things always happen unexpectedly.
Scott heard a call coming from afar; the voice sounded like a girl's.
He didn't look back; instead, he walked even faster.
Chapter 265 Scott's Embarrassing Encounter
Ignoring the shouts coming from behind, Scott kept his head down and walked forward, soon reaching the wall leading to the Leaky Cauldron.
Just as he was tapping the bricks on the wall with his wand, a kind-hearted middle-aged witch came over and patted him on the shoulder.
“Young man, that beautiful girl seems to be calling you.” The middle-aged witch smiled kindly at him.
Scott could sense the middle-aged witch approaching, but he chose not to dodge.
At this point, dodging would be too deliberate.
He glanced helplessly at the open wall, then turned to look at the girl running from the other end of the street, and smiled as he thanked the middle-aged witch, "Thank you for the reminder, madam."
"You're welcome. A good boy shouldn't make a girl sad."
The middle-aged witch gave him a meaningful wink, then turned and slowly left.
Scott clicked his tongue softly as he watched Roger's ex-girlfriend, Cachini, approach step by step.
Roger!
Kachini practically ran all the way here.
She stared at Scott, slightly out of breath, her face flushed from the exertion.
“Hello, Kachini,” Scott replied helplessly.
"Why did you run? I don't believe you didn't hear me!" Kachini asked. "You...don't want to see me that much?"
Scott looked at her resentful eyes and felt goosebumps rise on his arms.
He was starting to lose his temper.
What kind of mess is this?!
Seeing that Scott remained silent, Kachini's eyes immediately welled up with tears.
“You’re such a heartless man, Roger!” she said accusingly.
Scott felt the curious stares of passersby and immediately became even more uncomfortable.
“Cough, calm down, Cachini,” he said softly. “Come on, I’ll treat you to a drink at the Leaky Cauldron.”
After saying that, he tapped the bricks of the wall behind him, which had now closed up again, with his wand.
After the bricks were moved, he immediately strode inside.
He and Kacchini went into the bar and sat down at the bar.
Welcome!
Tom is wiping the bar counter with a rag.
"Young man, I was just wondering why some students would come here so soon after summer vacation."
He gave Scott a knowing look that any man would understand.
"So you're here on a date." Old Tom chuckled as he looked at Scott and Kachini. "What a well-matched couple."
Scott was so embarrassed by what he said that he scratched his toes on the ground.
