The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

As a cautious man by nature, Scott certainly heeded her warning and never put himself in danger.
But it's not necessarily the case for others.
For example, Angelina, the Gryffindor chaser and Fred's sweetheart, had an accident while secretly trying to enlarge her hands and was sent to the school hospital.
"Maybe if my hands were bigger, I could catch the Quaffle better during the game," Angelina said afterwards.
All Scott can say is that Quidditch is extremely harmful.
Scott received a reply from William the following morning.
In his letter, William said that although he was currently attending a high school to prepare for college, he was still very willing to participate in the case Scott mentioned and serve as Hagrid's defense attorney.
I never expected to receive such a letter.
But I must admit, I was quite emotional after reading the letter.
In the Muggle world, I'm far from qualified to take the bar exam, but in the wizarding world, I'm a Ravenclaw graduate!
I think this will be a very meaningful experience. Perhaps a successful defense would better represent my farewell to the magical world, at least it would be cooler than a graduation banquet.
Anyway, thank you, Scott...
Scott stood up and walked to the Gryffindor table to show the letter to Harry and the others.
"Oh! He agreed!" Harry was delighted.
"He asked you to meet him at the Three Broomsticks this Saturday?" Hermione looked up at Scott after quickly finishing the letter. "But our Hogsmeade Village has been cancelled!"
“Leave the meeting and conversation with the lawyer to Hagrid,” Scott told Hermione. “I’ll just relay the message.”
He winked at Harry as he spoke.
Scott would naturally choose to slip away; this was an opportunity to observe William up close.
However... before sneaking out, he must at least ensure his safety.
Harry immediately understood.
“Yes, let’s hurry and tell Hagrid the good news!” he said to Hermione with a smile.
Chapter 296 Accidentally Falling into the Trap
After Scott and Harry finished talking, they were about to return to the Ravenclaw table when Neville suddenly came over and handed him a glass jar.
“Scott, here’s your yarrow tea,” he said.
"Oh, is it finished?"
Scott happily took the glass jar, opened it, and smelled it.
“Although I haven’t tried it, just smelling it makes me feel refreshed.” He smiled at Neville and said, “Thank you, Neville.”
Neville smiled somewhat embarrassedly, "I specifically consulted Professor Sprout. The yarrow tea used for divination is quite complicated to make, which is why it took so long."
“Thank you so much.” Scott patted him on the shoulder. “If you ever need a divination reading again, just come to me. Of course, it’s free.”
Neville nodded, smiling憨厚ly.
After the morning classes ended, Rimbaud, who hadn't seen Scott in a long time, flew out of the Forbidden Forest.
Scott was about to go back to his dorm for a nap when Rimbaud landed on his shoulder from the sky.
Scott took Rimbaud to an empty classroom and used a spell to soundproof it before he began to talk to him.
“Long time no see, my friend.” Scott reached out and touched Rimbaud’s wings. “How is my Oak Lodge?”
"Long time no see, Scott."
Rimbaud affectionately nuzzled Scott's hand with his beak.
"Of course, the oak cabin is in excellent condition under my care."
“Thank you.” Scott smiled.
“Oh, you’re welcome,” Rimbaud said with a hint of pride. “I came today because one of the crows you summoned yesterday has returned to its territory.”
Scott raised an eyebrow. "Oh? So, what message did the raven bring?"
Rimbaud said, "The crows followed the owl to London, and one of the crows told me that the gentleman lit a toy fireplace immediately after receiving your letter."
Toy fireplaces, or small fireplaces, are part of Medea's localized Filo network.
"As expected..." Scott exclaimed, "It seems William really hasn't given up on magic."
“Of course! Who would give up magic?” Rimbaud said matter-of-factly.
Over the next period of time, Scott and Rimbaud exchanged information about what they had learned since the start of the school term.
Rimbaud told Scott that the three families vying for the Traverse inheritance had recently calmed down after escalating their fighting.
Because although the conflict between the three families was intense, no one died in the fight, so Rimbaud had not informed him beforehand.
"The calm before the storm?" Scott smiled.
Because he often listened to the sounds at the Slytherin table, he frequently overheard discussions among the Slytherin students during meals.
Moreover, Millison Burstd, who missed the opening banquet, has remained absent until now, possibly because his family is facing war and he fears that it is not safe enough at Hogwarts.
After the intelligence exchange was completed, Scott said softly, "Starting today, have Raven keep an eye on the Three Broomsticks Bar. You're coming with me on Saturday."
“Going together is no problem,” Rimbaud said hesitantly, “but are you sure you really want to go? What if Medea suddenly appears?”
He said worriedly, "Didn't you say that she needs you to use arithmetic divination to predict the Dark Lord's Horcruxes?"
“Medea won’t appear,” Scott said with certainty. “If she does, William will be useless to me from now on.”
"As long as it works this time, that's enough!" Rimbaud shouted.
It pecked Scott's finger a little harder. "How did you get so stupid, Scott!"
Upon hearing this, Scott hesitated for a moment.
"Have I become stupid?" he asked rhetorically.
Rimbaud said, "Something's wrong with you."
It pecked his finger again, this time causing Scott pain.
“You said you wouldn’t take any more risks, after that trip to the Isle of Man during the summer,” it reminded him.
Upon hearing this, Scott had a sudden realization and muttered, "Something really seems off about me."
That was incredibly careless; it's so unlike Scott!
Even though he now had doubts, the idea that "Medea would not appear in my meeting with William" remained deeply ingrained in his mind.
Why is that?
It would have been understandable if he had this idea before, but Rimbaud had already told him that William also had a small fireplace!
Scott suddenly felt extremely awkward.
What's wrong with me?
He thought about it again and again.
Then, he decisively drew his wand and pointed the tip at his temple.
"Stop the curse immediately!"
A flash of golden light appeared, and Scott keenly sensed that some of the thoughts in his mind had immediately and subtly changed.
Then he began to question his previous decision.
Why do I keep subconsciously thinking that Medea won't appear this time?
He had been thinking that if Medea appeared, William would be useless against Scott.
But now, thinking about it the other way around, what if William's card was only used here, just to lure Scott away from Hogwarts?
Although Scott could escape at any time using the door key, the door key itself was a gift from Medea...
This gift works well with other people, but it might not be so effective with Medea.
Scott's expression grew increasingly grim.
Why did he decide to meet William from the moment he received that letter, even subconsciously ignoring the potential danger?
Thinking of this, he quickly took out the letter from the deformed lizard skin pouch at his waist and read it again.
But this time he didn't sense anything unusual, nor did he feel any urge to keep the appointment.
He picked up the letter and smelled it, detecting a faint herbal scent.
At the same time, he finally sensed the extremely subtle magic remaining on the letter.
Although the method used is unknown, there is no doubt that Scott fell for it when he read the letter the day before!
In the middle of the move!
Scott was still somewhat incredulous.
How could he, who possesses magical perception, have fallen victim to this?
Is there no justice left?!
What method could possibly deceive his magical perception in an instant?
“This is a bit outrageous,” Scott muttered.
He wrote to William hoping to catch a fish, but it turned out that someone else was also trying to catch him.
"Scott! Scott!"
Rimbaud's voice brought Scott back to his senses.
“Are you alright, Scott?” Rimbaud asked worriedly. “You look terrible.”
Scott reached out and lifted Rimbaud up.
"Thank goodness you reminded me, Rimbaud!" he said, still somewhat shaken.
Rimbaud became smug again, "It's nothing, you're my best friend!"
Scott paced back and forth in the classroom.
