After lunch, Harry approached Scott again to discuss the matter.

“Hagrid wrote me a letter,” he said, holding up a piece of paper.

Scott glanced at the tear-stained letter in his hand and noticed that the writing on it was already blurred.

[The Fantastic Beasts Control Board informed me that they are preparing to execute Buckbeak at sunset. There's nothing you can do to help, so don't come. I don't want you to witness such a cruel scene.]

“We can get started,” Scott said, giving Eddie a wink.

“Leave it to me.” Eddie smiled confidently and turned to leave.

Scott said to Harry, "Once Eddie gets the news to Slytherin, it's up to you. Provoke Malfoy as we agreed, so he has no choice but to witness his execution."

“No problem,” Harry smiled. “I’m very good at this.”

“I think so too,” Scott smiled.

After Harry left, Roger asked Scott curiously, "Are you really going to get involved in this? And even have Eddie help you?"

“Don’t worry, I’m just talking,” Scott said. “Dumbledore will be there too.”

Roger immediately understood what Scott meant. He patted Scott on the shoulder and said with a smile, "As expected of you, you're really cunning."

He lowered his voice, "Although you verbally agreed to their request, with Dumbledore present, it's not your place to interfere."

Scott smiled slightly but said nothing.

That was indeed his plan.

Offering suggestions is fine, and observing is also fine, but he won't participate.

Knowing that Dumbledore was there, he didn't need to worry about anything happening to Harry and Hermione, who were in charge of the operation.

After the afternoon classes, Scott and his roommates left the castle and headed to Hagrid's cabin on the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

"Are you okay?"

Scott asked Milton, whose face was somewhat pale.

Milton shook his head and remained silent, pursing his lips.

He chose to come and witness the execution himself, so Scott didn't say anything more.

They soon arrived at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, some distance from Hagrid's cabin, where three distinct groups of people had already gathered.

First up were Harry, Ron, Hermione, the Weasley twins, Neville, and several Gryffindors, who were confronting a group of Slytherins led by Malfoy Jr.

Besides them, there was another group of people who came to see what was going on after hearing the news that Eddie had specifically spread, mostly Hufflepuff students.

Scott and his group walked over and stood with the third group, watching Harry and Malfoy's verbal sparring up close.

"I didn't expect you to be so kind as to inform me, allowing me to enjoy the fruits of victory." Malfoy said smugly, chin held high. "What's wrong? Now you finally know who to curry favor with?"

Harry said angrily, "You're wrong. I just want you to know what you've done! I want you to see that blood with your own eyes, because your actions have led to an innocent life being brutally killed right before your eyes!"

Malfoy's face paled upon hearing this, but he still chuckled and said, "Oh, don't talk nonsense, Potter. I'd be happier to see that beast executed!"

His words were full of malice towards Harry: "I not only want to see that beast executed, I also want to see you and that big oaf crying together."

Harry seemed genuinely angry; he clenched his fists and glared at Malfoy with hatred in his eyes.

Before Malfoy could say anything more, the door to Hagrid's cabin opened.

Dumbledore and Fudge were the first to come out of the house together.

Two unfamiliar male wizards followed closely behind.

One of them was very old; he looked even older than Dumbledore, like a withered old tree.

The other was tall, with a sparse black mustache, and holding a gleaming axe in his hand.

“They’re members of the Fantastic Beasts Control Board,” Malfoy said boastfully. “See that executioner with the axe? His name is Walton McNeil, and he’s an old friend of my dad’s.”

“Oh, of course, a bloodthirsty executioner,” Ha said sarcastically. “He perfectly fits your father’s criteria for friends.”

"How dare you!" Malfoy growled, as if he were about to jump up and fight Harry.

Harry looked at him defiantly.

The tension between the two was palpable.

But as Dumbledore and Fudge approached, their companions quickly pulled them back.

“How can there be so many students?” Scott heard Fudge say to Dumbledore with some displeasure. “Oh, Dumbledore, this won’t do. These children can’t watch this.”

“Nothing is impossible, Mr. Minister,” Fred said boldly. “We are not afraid.”

“It’s not a matter of being afraid.” Fudge moved a little closer.

Malfoy quickly stepped out from the crowd and greeted the minister with a slightly respectful tone, "Hello, Minister."

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy."

Upon seeing Malfoy, Fudge immediately smiled kindly.

However, before Malfoy could say anything more, Fudge had already changed his target.

"Oh, how are you, Harry?" he greeted Harry. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Perhaps because he wasn't good at hiding his emotions, Malfoy's expression immediately turned somewhat unpleasant.

"Good afternoon, Minister." Harry smiled politely.

“Take your friends back home, Harry,” Fudge said. “This place isn’t for kids like you.”

By saying this, he was clearly including Malfoy in Harry's group of friends.

Malfoy's face immediately turned even uglier.

“Sir, we just want to give Buckbeak a ride,” Harry said quickly in a pleading tone. “Please.”

“This…” Fudge looked at Dumbledore hesitantly, “Albus, what do you think?”

Dumbledore, who had been silent until now, looked at the students.

Dumbledore was clearly more authoritative than the Minister of Magic in front of the students, so no one spoke for a moment under his gaze.

“Stand back,” Dumbledore said. “Stand back, and we won’t let you see anything bad.”

Fudge nodded.

So the students began to back away, standing further back as Dumbledore instructed.

Just then, the executioner carrying the axe shouted towards the hut, "The time has come! Bring that mad beast out, Hagrid!"

“I’m going to make sure it’s well-fed!” Hagrid shouted from inside the house.

"The time has come!" the executioner urged again.

After a while, Hagrid finally led Buckbeak out of the hut.

“I’ve come.” He looked haggard and touched the feathers on Buckbeak’s neck. “We’ve come.”

Chapter 325 Witnessing a Rescue

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Hagrid, with heavy steps, led Buckbeak to the edge of the vegetable garden.

He saw the students watching in the distance, stared at Harry for a few seconds, opened his mouth, but ultimately remained silent.

Just then, executioner McNeil walked over.

He roughly snatched the rope that was around Buckbeak from Hagrid's hand, tied one end of the rope to a big tree next to the vegetable garden, and then blindfolded it with a black cloth.

“You should have found a chain, Hagrid,” McNeil said disapprovingly. “This kind of rope probably won’t be able to hold this mad beast in place.”

"What did you say!" Hagrid stepped forward, glaring at him. "Buckbeak isn't crazy!"

"Oh……"

Faced with the overwhelming presence of Hagrid's massive body, McNeil involuntarily took a step back.

Immediately, his expression turned very ugly.

“Are you going to resist, Hagrid?” He grinned, a defiant smile on his face. “I must remind you, this is the result of the Wizengamot trial. If you resist, you too will be imprisoned in Azkaban.”

“I didn’t mean to fight back, but you shouldn’t have insulted Buckbeak in front of me!” Hagrid said in a gruff voice.

He instinctively stepped between McNeil and Buckbeak.

Just then, Scott, who was watching this scene from afar, twitched his eyebrows slightly.

In his magical perception, another Harry and Hermione had already appeared.

Those are Harry and Hermione from the future who traveled back to the present using a time-twister!

They were cloaked in invisibility and invisible to the naked eye. Even with Scott's extraordinary magical perception, he could only detect two extremely faint magical fluctuations.

As expected of one of the Deathly Hallows, it is indeed very powerful.

Scott thought.

This invisibility cloak has an extremely strong shielding effect; even if an ordinary wizard were face to face, they would not be able to sense anything from it.

Even Scott had to concentrate on sensing Buckbeak's location to detect some clues.

Scott, sensing something amiss, immediately understood that Hagrid's subconscious action was clearly not to stop McNeil from carrying out the execution, but to cover for Harry and Hermione.

In short, he suddenly confronted McNeil.

Beside them, the elderly wizard, also a member of the Fantastic Beasts Control Board, trembled and complained, "Oh, I told you long ago, I can't do this kind of thing, I'm too old... too old."

By this time, Dumbledore and Fudge had already walked over.

“Now that the time has come, let’s get started as soon as possible,” Fudge said to McNeil in a warning tone. “Don’t wait any longer.”

McNeil quickly feigned seriousness and said, "Of course, Mr. Secretary, I think you've seen it too, it was Hagrid who was obstructing the execution."

Fudge didn't speak to Hagrid, but looked directly at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore sighed. "Get out of the way, Hagrid."

Hagrid whimpered, hesitated for several seconds, and then obediently stepped aside.

“Let’s begin.” McNeil walked toward Buckbeak, carrying an axe.

Somewhat uneasy, the hippogriff immediately let out a wary growl.
