The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

"I'm afraid of scaring you," he thought.
Hello.
The cubicle door was suddenly pushed open, and Luna stood in the doorway.
"What's wrong, Luna?" Scott asked, turning his head.
“Oh, I’d like to have a chat with you.” Luna walked into the cubicle without any hesitation and sat down next to Scott. “Sawana wrote me a letter.”
Scott nudged Milton, who was sitting by the window, and the two squeezed in to make room for Luna.
“Thank you.” Luna glanced at the other three boys, then fixed her gaze on Scott. “Sawana said she’s not going back to Hogwarts, but she didn’t tell me why. Do you know why?”
Before Scott could answer, she said to herself, "Oh, you know."
A hazy mist rose in her silver-gray eyes, and her voice was faint and uncertain, "Can you tell me? I'm a little worried about her."
Scott found Luna particularly difficult to deal with at this time.
He knew that lying to her at this point would be pointless, even if he had Occlumency.
Eddie had long since stopped his incessant chatter and was now watching Scott and Luna with Milton and Roger, all three of them wearing expressions of anticipation.
“Yes, I know,” Scott said softly.
Luna kept her head turned to stare at him, clearly waiting for his answer.
“She will complete a trial, undergo a transformation,” Scott said, looking into her eyes. “Then, she will fulfill her duty.”
"I see." Luna nodded.
The smoky color in her eyes faded, and her silver-gray eyes became clear again.
Scott smiled slightly. "That's right."
At that moment, he noticed the surprised expressions on his roommates' faces out of the corner of his eye, and his smile widened even further.
"What exactly happened?" Eddie couldn't help but ask.
Scott smiled but did not answer.
Eddie asked again, his face full of curiosity, "Is Savannah going to drop out of school? Why?"
“Are you also Savannah’s friend, Eddie?” Luna turned to ask him.
Upon hearing her question, Eddie's expression immediately became conflicted. "Yes..."
He was about to tell a lie when Luna had already looked away.
“You’re not,” she said lightly.
Her performance immediately shut down Eddie's lie.
“She’s my VIP customer,” Eddie muttered.
“I hope everything goes well for Savannah,” Luna said to Scott, ignoring Eddie.
Scott nodded.
Luna then stopped talking, but she didn't leave.
She took out a copy of "Singing the Quibbles" magazine from her knitted handbag, held it up with both hands, and began to read it with a contented smile, laughing happily as she read.
Apart from Scott, the other three looked at her with some surprise.
Although it wasn't the first time they'd seen Luna "go crazy," they were still a little unaccustomed to it.
Scott accepted this well and turned to Milton to talk about his situation.
Milton had visited the Grevis family during the Christmas holidays.
Although Mr. Grevis had told him not to go back, Milton's grandfather insisted that he return the day after Christmas, so Milton reluctantly went back for a day.
Scott wanted to ask him if he had been harassed.
"Actually, it's nothing. My dad said he would help me solve the problems at home, and he did."
Milton did not show any sadness when he talked about these things.
"Although I don't know what my father said to them, my grandfather and relatives no longer see me as a person."
He smiled indifferently as he said this.
"To be honest, it feels pretty good to be ignored by them."
Scott patted him on the shoulder. "Since they've already ignored you, why is your grandfather calling you back?"
"Probably for the sake of face?" Milton said. "Because my father got a good job, he became the head secretary in the Minister of Magic's office, and there will be guests at home to celebrate."
Upon hearing this news, Scott's eyebrows twitched slightly.
Because he knew that Mr. Grevis's current wife, Mrs. Zabini, was a Medea person, he couldn't help but suspect that Mr. Grevis's transfer was related to Medea's plans within the Ministry of Magic.
Just then, the train started moving.
"Next, I need to go and fulfill my duties as prefect."
Scott stood up; he had to go and inspect the carriages.
No one answered him.
Eddie was discussing Quidditch with Roger, Luna was engrossed in a magazine, and only Milton smiled at him.
Scott stepped out of his compartment and began to survey the carriages.
Nothing unexpected happened along the way. Scott walked slowly, greeting acquaintances from time to time.
All the way to the last carriage.
"That house-elf has really gone crazy! He's been making a huge scene at home, and he ruined our Christmas!"
From afar, Scott heard Harry's voice.
"Oh, you're really unlucky, buddy."
He heard Ron say that again.
"This is your first Christmas with Professor Black."
"Who says otherwise? That guy was crazy enough to begin with, but now he's getting crazier and crazier! He went on a rampage of destruction and ended up messing everything up!"
Harry's voice was full of anger.
“You know what? It actually accused me of stealing Regulus’s relics! But I know that monster is only targeting me! Because I’m not the pure-blood wizard it’s talking about!”
Upon hearing this, Scott frowned.
If he remembers correctly... based on the description in the "original work"...
The thing kept by the Black family's house-elf, the so-called Regulus relic, is actually one of Voldemort's seven Horcruxes, Slytherin's locket.
Upon hearing Harry's words, Scott immediately realized that Slytherin's locket was missing.
"Oh, don't say that, Harry."
At that moment, Hermione's voice rang out.
"You should be nicer to house-elves."
"What nonsense are you talking about? How am I supposed to be nice to it? It's accusing me of stealing! Sirius says nothing's missing!" Harry's voice grew increasingly angry.
Scott had initially assumed the locket, hidden by the Black family's house-elf, was safe.
Voldemort hid the locket in a heavily guarded seaside cave, but Regulus Black secretly replaced the real one with a fake one.
Before he died, he entrusted the real locket to his house-elf for safekeeping, asking the house-elf to destroy it completely.
Although the house-elf failed to destroy the locket, it kept it hidden in its nest.
Who actually took the real locket?
Is it Medea?
Or Voldemort?
It seems someone went to the seaside cave where the pendant box was originally hidden, found the fake pendant box, and then followed the trail to Blake's house to steal the real one.
With that thought in mind, Scott stepped into the carriage.
"Hello." He raised his voice.
The conversation between Harry and his two friends came to an abrupt halt.
"Are the three of you plotting loudly again?" Scott walked over and pushed open the door to the cubicle.
He looked around and then said with a smile, "Although there are only the three of you in this carriage and no one in the other compartments, I could hear your voices from outside the carriage."
“We weren’t plotting anything, Scott.” Harry looked grim. “I was complaining about that crazy house-elf of the Blacks.”
Scott nodded. "I heard it. It said you stole something."
Harry's expression turned even uglier.
"Is it possible that something was actually stolen?" Scott asked casually. "I mean, that another thief went in and stole something."
Harry immediately dismissed the theory. "That's impossible. No one else should be able to get into that house; it's protected by magic. That monster is targeting me!"
“Magic? Is it the Fidelity Spell?” Scott asked.
“I don’t know.” Harry shook his head blankly.
Scott said, "If it's not the 'Loyalty Curse,' then someone else may have broken into the house."
“Okay, I’ll ask Sirius,” Harry said hesitantly.
Ron shrugged. "Who would go there specifically to steal from a house-elf? Obviously, like Harry said, that house-elf is a madman."
"You can't talk like that!" Hermione said sternly to the two boys. "If it weren't for this, I wouldn't have known that house-elves have been subjected to the oppression and exploitation of wizards all this time!"
Ron looked at her, bewildered. "Seriously, what nonsense are you spouting? That house-elf accused Harry of being a thief! Clearly, it's gone mad!"
“Of course, it might be a little crazy,” Hermione said, “but that’s also a result of the oppression and exploitation it has suffered!”
“Seriously, Hermione,” Harry said, his eyes wide, “you don’t like those monsters at all! Dobby almost got Ron and me expelled, and he broke my arm with a Walking Ball! Now Kreacher is framing me! And you’re actually sympathizing with them?”
Based on his experiences, it's clear that he has a very poor impression of house-elves.
“No matter what, wizards shouldn’t enslave another intelligent being to serve them unpaid!” Hermione said stiffly. “No pay, no holidays, that’s clearly wrong…”
