The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott first ladled out a bowl of colorful soup and took a few sips to warm his stomach, then reached for the meat.
Eddie couldn't help but speculate again, "Could the prophecy mean that Dumbledore will become the new Minister of Magic and lead the Ministry to defeat the resurrected witch? If so, Thestrals will really return."
Luna, sitting next to Scott, glanced up at Dumbledore in the teachers' table and shook her head.
“Dumbledore will not be Minister for Magic,” she told Eddie.
"How did you know?" Eddie smirked, his lips greasy.
Roger said, "If he wanted to be a minister, he would have been a minister long ago."
This reason was so compelling that even Eddie couldn't refute it.
The opening banquet passed peacefully, and Dumbledore remained silent for the rest of the evening.
Although Eddie repeatedly claimed that the professors whispering in the faculty seats were certainly discussing the Gringotts invasion, they never told the students about it.
After the dinner, the students went to their respective common lounges.
With no longer needing to guide new students, Scott and his three roommates, along with Luna, strolled slowly through the castle.
As they passed through a corridor, Scott saw Harry run up to Black and say something excitedly. Black's gaze then turned to Scott in the crowd.
Scott smiled politely, but Blake started waving at him.
"It seems I have to go."
Scott said something to his roommates and Luna, then walked over to Black and Harry.
"Good evening, Professor Black," Scott greeted him.
“Hello, Scott,” Black said with a smile. “Come on, come to my office with Harry.”
Scott nodded.

Scott and Harry followed Black to his office.
After opening the door, Black walked to the sofa placed by the window and sat down, waving to Scott and Harry.
"Come on, please sit down."
Scott and Harry sat down on the sofa opposite him.
“Professor Blake,” Scott asked, “what can I do for you?”
Black leaned back on the sofa, smiling contentedly, and said, "I have to thank you, Scott, Harry and I told you your guess."
Scott glanced at Harry. "I was just making wild guesses during our chat."
“Of course, it’s not important.” Black looked at Harry. “Harry, you don’t need to pay attention to that useless piece of trash Kreacher.”
He seemed to have an extreme dislike for their house-elves.
“That wasn’t the main reason I brought you here,” he told Scott.
“But Scott’s guess might be true!” Harry exclaimed excitedly.
He looked at Blake and said, "I feel something's off about Kreacher's sudden madness. Although he was... not easy to get along with to begin with, he wasn't that crazy. Maybe what he said is true..."
At this point, he hesitated for a moment, "Maybe it really did lose something... Did you hear what it said? It lost your brother Regulus's belongings, Sirius. Maybe you should ask it about it."
"But it has gone completely mad and can't speak clearly anymore."
Blake frowned, his expression turning disgusted.
“It may not be anything important. You know, even if Regulus had only left behind a stone, Kreacher would have treasured it.”
Harry's face showed disapproval.
“You were the one who told me Regulus was missing, and nobody knows where he went,” he said to Black. “Maybe Kreacher might have a clue?”
Hearing him say that, Blake frowned even more.
“That idiot Regulus, he must have been killed by the Mystic.” He said through gritted teeth, “If it weren’t for the twisted ideas my parents instilled in him, he wouldn’t have joined the Death Eaters at such a young age. They killed him!”
He made no secret of his hatred for his family.
Harry shouted, "He's just missing! You should talk to Kreacher; maybe he knows the truth. Don't you want to find Regulus?"
Blake nodded in agreement.
“You’re right, Harry.” He seemed calmer now. “I have to find Regulus, whether he’s dead or alive.”
However, he quickly became angry again.
"Let's have a proper talk?" A somewhat ferocious expression appeared on his thin face. "I'll find out the truth. That useless piece of trash can't defy its master!"
Just then, teaching assistant Lu Ping pushed open the office door and walked in.
"Good evening, what are you talking about?" he asked.
"It's like this..."
Harry quickly repeated the topic they had just discussed.
As Lupin listened to his retelling, he poured four cups of hot tea and brought them over.
"Thank you," Scott quickly thanked Lupin, who had served him tea.
Lupin smiled and said to Black, "You should listen to Harry on this. You've treated the house-elves terribly, and that could cause problems."
Blake didn't take Lupin's words seriously.
He smiled dismissively. "Don't worry, does that useless piece of trash think he can defy his master?"
Seeing that he wouldn't listen to his advice, Lupin shook his head in disapproval but didn't say anything more.
"By the way, let's not talk about that anymore."
Blake waved his hand and looked at Scott.
“I called you here earlier because I had prepared a gift for you.” He stood up. “To thank you for helping me catch that Peter guy.”
As he spoke, he walked over to the desk, picked up a somewhat worn notebook, and returned to the sofa to hand it to Scott.
“Your specialty is Transfiguration,” he said with a smile. “This is an old notebook I found at home; it should be a suitable gift for you.”
Scott took the notebook, opened it, and found the name Phineas Nigellus Black on the first page.
“That’s my great-great-grandfather’s name,” Black said. “He was the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.”
Scott carefully turned to the back of the notebook and discovered that it contained records of the Black family's unique Animagus transfiguration technique.
“This is very precious, Professor Blake. I’m afraid you can’t give it to me, can you?” He looked up at Blake and said hesitantly.
Scott had long heard that the Black family's Animagus Transfiguration was different from that of ordinary Animagus; their methods were simpler and less risky.
This can already be considered the magical foundation of a pure-blood family.
Seeing Scott's reaction, Blake burst out laughing.
“It’s alright.” He sat down again and waved his hand. “Once you’ve looked closely, you’ll see that the Black family’s Animagus transformations aren’t anything special.”
He said casually, "Since you don't have Black blood, it can only serve as a reference for you. I shared this knowledge with a few good friends when I was studying at Hogwarts."
He looked at Harry, “Harry’s father James, and Lupin. James is also very talented in Transfiguration, and my sharing only helped him a little.”
At this point, he looked disgusted again, "Of course, there's also Peter. Peter only managed to transform into an Animagus with the help of me and James."
Scott carefully flipped through the notebook in his hand again and found that what Blake said was true.
While the Animagus Transfiguration technique passed down in the Black family is simpler and much safer, it has a significant limitation—it is designed for the Black family's unique canine transformations.
Scott closed his notebook and looked at the Black family crest on the cover.
This is a shield decorated with a mountain symbol, two five-pointed stars and a short sword, with two leaping greyhounds on either side of the shield.
“Thank you, Professor Black.” Scott did not refuse again.
Having accepted the gift, Scott got up to say goodbye and left.
After returning to his dormitory and taking a shower, he began to carefully study the old notebook from more than 100 years ago.
It wasn't until bedtime that he gained a basic understanding of the specific knowledge of Animagus transformations passed down through the Black family.
This knowledge was intended for descendants with the Black family bloodline, and for Scott, it could only serve as a reference.
But this also allowed him to see another side of pure-blood families.
Sure enough, those pure-blood families are doing everything they can to ensure the continuation and purity of their bloodline, and it's not just because of the title of pure-blood.
The reason they care so much about bloodlines is that if their bloodlines are diluted or altered, it means they will lose their family's magical heritage.
During breakfast the next morning, Scott simultaneously listened to the Slytherin table and heard Harry's doll's report.
Meanwhile, in Slytherin, Millison Burstd, who was engaged to the new Travers heir, finally returned to school after missing a semester.
She was a girl who looked like a shrew; she had black hair and was tall and strong.
Scott heard several of her classmates complimenting her, saying that she would become the matriarch of the Traverse family.
Milison Burst took the compliments well, her thick chin jutting out aggressively, her fleshy face beaming with smugness.
Seeing this, Scott couldn't help but feel that the heir the Foley family had put forward had really made a great sacrifice in order to obtain the Travers family.
Compared to what happened in Slytherin, the report on Harry's dolls was much more significant.
Harry saw Voldemort again in his dream.
Because it was a nightmare that greatly frightened Harry, he told Ron about what he dreamt.
This allowed Scott to learn the specific content of his dream.
Just last night, Harry found himself transformed into a "baby," or rather, possessed by a "baby," being held by a young man and taken into a hidden cave by the sea.
Of course, when the "baby" started talking, Harry realized that the person he was possessing in his dream was not a baby, but Voldemort.
Voldemort was carried into the cave by a young man, where he awakened countless Shadows from the lake hidden within.
They walked across the bridge formed by the bodies of the undead to the small island in the middle of the lake.
There, Voldemort began to rage, and his anger seemed endless.
Because he discovered that what he had hidden there had been taken away.
