"Of course, not everyone thinks that way."
He added.
"Some people suspect that the witch and the demon king have joined forces, after all, the demon king is the witch's descendant. They believe it is a trap to lure Dumbledore and other righteous people to go there."
"Oh," Milton replied dismissively.
“I think this might be a trap set by the witch and the headmaster for the Demon King,” Eddie said, offering his wild idea.
Scott sat down next to the two of them and asked with a smile, "Do you think the headmaster and the witch will cooperate?"
“Oh, Scott.” Eddie looked up at him. “That’s certainly possible. Team up with the witch to defeat the Demon King first, then defeat the witch. Perfect.”
Scott could tell he was deliberately talking nonsense, so he suggested, "Why don't you hurry up and present your perfect plan to the principal?"
He made a joke at Eddie, then got up and went back to his dorm.
"Scott!"
He pushed open the door and saw Rimbaud standing at the small table beside his bed.
Chapter 343 News, Violence, and Business Opportunities
"Good evening, Rimbaud." Scott closed the dorm room door behind him. "What brings you here?"
"I've come here of course, there's something I need to do." Rimbaud flapped his wings a few times.
Scott sat down on the bed and asked, "Has the list of those who have sided with Medea been released by the Ministry of Magic?"
“Only a portion for now,” Rimbaud said. “However, after observing a few more times, Fudge’s situation is clearly getting increasingly difficult.”
Scott asked, somewhat surprised, "He didn't resist?"
“Anyway, I didn’t see him put up any resistance,” Rimbaud said definitively.
“It seems there’s more to this than meets the eye,” Scott guessed. “Either Fudge is being threatened and controlled, or he’s lying low.”
Rimbaud nodded. "What you say makes sense, but my abilities are limited, and I have no way to investigate or verify it further."
“It doesn’t matter, we won’t get involved anyway. I just need to know the general situation.” Scott said nonchalantly. “By the way, you went to the Ministry of Magic today? Then tell me about the impact of that Daily Prophet this morning.”
Rimbaud cracked his neck. "Oh, that's the second thing I wanted to tell you. That interview in the newspaper this morning caused quite a stir at the Ministry of Magic."
Scott gestured for it to elaborate.
“Of course, most wizards are prepared to wait and see, while a number of wizards are very happy. I guess they are Medea’s accomplices,” Rimbaud said. “A small number of wizards advocate going to the Gaunt family’s old house to make preparations in advance and capture Medea. They are basically all Aurors.”
“I understand,” Scott nodded.
Rimbaud asked him, "What are you planning to do?"
“Me?” Scott laughed. “Of course I’ll do nothing. These things are none of my business.”
“That’s true.” Rimbaud nodded in agreement.
Scott said, "I just wanted to watch the show."
Rimbaud agreed again, "I also enjoy watching a spectacle."
Then they all laughed.
Just then, Scott sensed Roger's magical energy fluctuations in the hallway outside the dormitory, so he gave Rimbaud a wink.
Having understood his meaning, Rimbaud fell silent.
Roger quickly pushed open the dormitory door.
Scott glanced back, but couldn't help but widen his eyes.
"What happened to you...?" He looked at the handprint on Roger's face, "...who beat you up?"
Roger walked into the dormitory with a dark face, put down his flying broom, took off his robe, and sat on the edge of the bed to remove his Quidditch protective gear.
He remained silent throughout the entire process and did not answer Scott's questions.
Scott looked again at the handprint on his face, then down at his own hands, and quickly came to a conclusion—
Roger's face was slapped by a girl.
Did Playboy backfire?
Seeing that Roger was unwilling to talk about it, Scott naturally wouldn't force him, and thus withdrew his observation.
However, as he stood up and took his ancient magic script notebook from the bookshelf, Roger suddenly spoke again.
“Kachini, she’s like a completely different person,” he said in a muffled voice.
“Kachini?” Scott was extremely surprised. “Didn’t you two break up a long time ago? It’s been more than half a year.”
"Hmm," Roger responded.
"Have you two gotten back together?" Scott asked.
“No,” Roger said.
"Then what is this?" Scott looked at the handprint on his face again.
Roger reached up and rubbed his face. "Hiss."
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her.” He frowned. “I haven’t paid attention to her for a long time, and I just came out of the Quidditch stadium.”
He didn't understand, and Scott certainly didn't understand either, so he could only give him a sympathetic look.
Roger added, "After last summer, the way she looked at me was off. I wanted to talk to her, but I got busy with Quidditch matches and training and forgot about it."
Scott remembered it too.
Could it be because of the time he impersonated Roger using Compound Herbal Elixir during the summer vacation?
No way, it's been more than half a year already.
He suddenly felt a little guilty.
He then asked Roger, "You mean... she rushed up to you without saying a word and slapped you in front of everyone?"
Roger nodded slightly.
Scott was even more surprised.
It's no wonder Roger was so angry. He was the captain of the Quidditch team, and being slapped in the face by his ex-girlfriend in front of his teammates was undoubtedly very embarrassing.
However, Scott felt that this was not something Kachini would do.
“Whatever happened…” Scott said hesitantly, “Kachini would actually use violence?”
“That’s why I said she’s changed,” Roger said.
Scott asked, "So why did she hit you?"
Roger shook his head, looking bewildered.
"Forget it." He rubbed his face again. "I was the one who broke up with you, so this slap will settle things."
Seeing that he seemed to have come to a conclusion, Scott stopped discussing the topic.
After that day, discussions about Medea and Voldemort became a hot topic at Hogwarts.
Everyone was eagerly anticipating how things would unfold. The students were practically begging to go to the Gaunt family's old house to see if the interview in the newspaper was real.
Will Medea really go there to destroy the Horcruxes? Will Voldemort really appear?
These are the answers everyone is eager to know.
The Weasley twins found Scott mysteriously one afternoon and took him to a workshop located in a secret passage.
Eddie is here too.
“This is a huge business opportunity!” Eddie said. “People are eager to pay attention to this and want to know the answer as soon as possible!”
"Are you going to do an interview?" Fred asked with a grin.
George gave Eddie a thumbs-up. "We support you!"
“Of course not! I would never go to such a dangerous place!” Eddie retorted.
Scott asked him, "So how do you plan to make money from this?"
Eddie laughed and said, "We can think about it together, maybe we can come up with a solution."
It seems he had no real intentions; he just didn't want to miss the money-making opportunity he mentioned.
"A clash between Slytherin's daughter and the Man of Void," Fred said with a hint of anticipation. "That would be so interesting!"
“Are you crazy, brother!” George slapped him hard on the shoulder. “That’s not a place we can go!”
“Of course I didn’t want to go!” Fred rolled his eyes at George. “I was just thinking that maybe we could use our ingenuity to invent a tool that allows us to see Gaunt’s old house from Hogwarts.”
“Sorry, I don’t have the kind of intelligence you’re talking about.” George shrugged.
“Okay.” Fred shrugged. “Maybe it really is impossible. After all, the eavesdropping devices we’ve envisioned can only eavesdrop on sounds at close range.”
"Isn't there any way we can make this money?" Eddie looked at Scott. "Scott, do you have any good ideas?"
Fred and George also looked at him.
Scott said helplessly, "What can I do?"
The distance was too great for his listening bat to connect.
He couldn't possibly risk sneaking up to the vicinity of Gaunt's old house.
"A camera!" Fred suddenly looked at Scott with shining eyes. "We can make the camera take pictures automatically, and we'll sell photos of the scene!"
George's eyes lit up too. "That's brilliant, bro!"
Scott shook his head. "The cameras need to be set up in advance. Who's going there?"
“We can hire an owl,” Fred said. “We can have an owl fly over Gaunt’s old house.”
George immediately understood what Fred meant, and he said to Scott, "You just need to let the camera take pictures automatically."
By this time, Eddie had clearly understood the plan the twins had mentioned.
"It seems really feasible!" he said excitedly.
“No, there’s something better,” Scott suddenly said.
