The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

The transfiguration was quickly successful.
Since no magical runes were inscribed or any spells were cast, Scott could sense that the magnificent eagle born from his Transfiguration spell perfectly fulfilled his expectations.
The above steps did not take Scott too long.
To the other three, this was just a normal transformation.
"Is this really okay?" Eddie asked uncertainly, looking at the eagle standing on the table.
Fred laughed. "It's majestic, isn't it?"
Just then, the eagle twisted its neck and looked at Eddie, seemingly a little angry.
"He seems quite intelligent!" George exclaimed.
“Yes, it’s very smart,” Scott said with a smile.
He reached out and touched the eagle's feathers, immediately calming it down.
“Although it doesn’t understand what you’re saying,” he told Eddie, “it has a keen sense that you don’t seem to have much faith in it.”
Eddie immediately laughed too.
“Alright, I surrender,” he said sincerely to the eagle. “You will definitely be able to complete the task Scott gave you!”
At this point, Scott picked up the panoramic telescope on the table. "Next, we'll disguise this."
“Indeed, we can’t let anyone immediately tell that our eagle is holding the panoramic telescope.” Eddie nodded. “Although it can fly very high, it is also easy for people to spot.”
Scott thought for a moment, then took out another piece of ebony and waved his wand once more.
The wooden block slowly transformed under the influence of the Transformation Charm, turning into a small, grayish, furry... rabbit.
"Disguised as prey?" Fred reached out and pinched the rabbit. "That's certainly inconspicuous."
“I like the idea,” George said.
Scott turned the rabbit upside down and unzipped its belly.
Eddie chuckled. "Oh, it's empty. Was your inspiration from plush toys, Scott?"
He helped pick up the panoramic binoculars and put them inside the rabbit's belly, "They fit perfectly."
“Of course.” Scott took it.
He first took out the panoramic telescope, set it up, then put it back in, secured it with the buckles designed on the plush rabbit, and zipped it up again, leaving only the two lenses exposed.
"Ready? Fred, open the door for our warriors." Scott pointed to the ceiling above, then patted the eagle that was twisting its neck and looking around. "Go, warriors!"
The eagle raised its head, slowly spread its broad wings, and took flight.
It grabbed the plush rabbit's back with its sharp and powerful claws and took off.
At that moment, Fred also flew to the ceiling on a flying broomstick and opened the iron grille inside the ventilation duct.
The eagle cried out and flew into the huge ventilation shaft, disappearing without a trace in the blink of an eye.
Eddie looked up at the vent and asked Scott at the same time, "It'll work, won't it?"
“If we’re lucky,” Scott said, not making any absolute statements.
“Our luck is certainly not going to be bad.” At Scott’s request, Fred did not close the fence.
He swooped down from the sky, stopped beside George on his broom, and gave him a high five.
"This is your Transfiguration. How long do you think it will last before it turns back into wood?" George asked Scott curiously.
"Who knows?" Scott hadn't actually tested it either.
Anyway, the Harry doll he made a year ago is still working, although the main reason is that the doll isn't a real living being.
"At least 24 hours a day is no problem," he gave a conservative answer. "That's enough for our warriors to fly there and come back."
"Then let's come here at the same time tomorrow and see if it can come back."
The four discussed for a few more minutes before leaving the secret passage and returning to the castle.
After parting ways with the Weasley twins, Scott and Eddie encounter Catchney on their way back to Ravenclaw Tower.
It had been a long time since Scott had seen Roger's ex-girlfriend. Even though Roger had said she had changed a lot, Scott hadn't taken it seriously until they passed each other this time. Only then did he realize that she had indeed changed a lot, in every sense of the word.
Kacchini and several Hufflepuff girls brushed past Scott and Eddie in the hallway.
If Eddie hadn't whispered a reminder, he wouldn't have even known that the girl walking towards him was Cachini.
"Hello, Scott, Eddie," Kacchini greeted them with a half-smile.
"Hello, Kachini..."
Scott was surprised to find that this girl, who used to be overly artistic, had completely changed for some reason.
She had cut her long black hair short and dyed it with some bright colors. She wore smoky makeup, black lip gloss, and a lot of flamboyant jewelry, including a nose stud and a lip ring.
She has transformed from a beautiful and graceful young musician into a shocking female gangster.
The image transformation was so drastic that even Scott was stunned.
It's like a delicate little flower turning into a tyrannical flower; the visual impact is simply too great.
Scott remained surprised even after the girls had walked away.
"Well? You're stunned too, aren't you?" Eddie chuckled. "I didn't even recognize her when I saw her a few days ago."
"..." It took Scott a while to recover.
“This could be Roger’s doom,” he murmured.
"What?" Eddie turned his head in surprise. "She already slapped Roger, wasn't that enough?"
Scott shrugged. "I don't know either. I can't predict what Kachini will do now. Her magic has also changed a lot."
Eddie's eyes widened. "Could it be..."
Scott could tell from his expression that he was thinking of the Poison Doll from before.
“Your imagination is too exaggerated,” Scott said with a laugh. “Anyway, Cachini is still a qualified Hufflepuff.”
“Oh…” Eddie couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
“It’s alright,” he said. “I thought the wonderful tradition of Hufflepuff School never producing a dark wizard had come to an end.”
Scott chuckled a few more times. "It's not that serious. Anyway, let Roger worry about this."
He could tell that Kacini meant no harm and had not altered the nature of magic, so he was no longer worried about Roger.
At the same time, the guilt he felt for impersonating Roger by using compound decoction naturally disappeared.
"Could it be that he has finally met his destined nemesis?" Eddie laughed gleefully. "Thinking back to his experiences in the past few years, I've always hoped that someone could teach him a lesson."
Chapter 345 New Warriors Set Off
After the class ended on the afternoon of the second day, Scott and his friends returned to the "joke props workshop" located in the secret passage.
The eagle Scott sent out has long since returned.
Fred quickly picked up the plush rabbit and took out the panoramic telescope.
"let me see."
He held the panoramic telescope up to his eyes and skillfully turned the dial with his fingers.
"Come on, Fred," George said with a laugh. "Can you spot little Hangleton in the replay footage?"
“Who says I can’t find it? I’ve studied the map,” Fred said defiantly.
George didn't believe in his abilities and said mockingly, "Then you can take your time looking."
Scott ignored the brothers' bickering and instead reached out to touch the eagle's feathers, using his magical senses to assess its condition.
“I didn’t expect that after a day, its condition would still be quite stable,” he told Eddie.
"I could never do that."
Eddie looked enviously at the eagle, which stood even more majestically under Scott's touch.
"If I use Transfiguration to create an animal, I can only keep it for a maximum of one hour. Once it leaves the range of my magical control, it cannot move on its own."
Scott shrugged. "I've already told you how to advance your Transfiguration skills."
"I know the method, but I still can't do it," Eddie said with some helplessness.
At this point, Fred finally gave up.
“Okay, I really can’t find it.” He handed the panoramic binoculars to Scott.
“Let Eddie do it,” Scott said with a smile. “That’s his forte.”
Gossip also requires talent; it requires keen observation and memory.
“I definitely need to do this.” Eddie proudly took the panoramic telescope and started operating it.
Scott started chatting with the twins.
He asked Fred and George, "What have you two invented lately?"
“We’ve been working on fireworks lately.” Fred pulled a notebook from his old desk and opened it. “Of course, our plans also include portable swamps.”
George said, "We believe there are still many areas for improvement in the pyrotechnics, and we will create a product that surpasses it sooner or later."
As they talked, the two couldn't help but take out their tools and materials and start tinkering together.
Scott watched for a while as they experimented with a pyrotechnic recipe, small explosions occasionally occurring inside a dilapidated crucible.
“Oh, that won’t do.” Fred said as he picked up a quill and started writing in his notebook.
“Continue the experiment.” George took out a bottle of unidentified mineral powder.
Scott looked away, picked up a new panoramic telescope, and tried to use his magical perception to break through the blockade and figure out the internal magical circuits.
“Oh, I’ve found it!” Eddie, who had been looking through panoramic binoculars, suddenly exclaimed. “This is Little Hangleton, a run-down little village.”
Fred and George immediately stopped their research and gathered around Eddie.
"Did you find the old Gaunt house?" Fred asked. "I heard they've fallen on hard times and are living in a dilapidated house."
George said dismissively, "Is it even more dilapidated than our house?"
