“This is a new weapon,” he said in a barely audible whisper. “It’s a combination of Polymorph and Shrinking Charm, and the raw material for the transformation is hard steel.”

Rimbaud leaned closer to examine it and asked Scott, "What should I do? If I'm going to attack directly, my claws are sharp enough to tear a wizard's throat."

Scott knew, of course, that Rimbaud's claws and beak were very sharp, after all, it was made from a piece of titanium alloy.

However, he did not intend for Rimbaud to act directly, even though the wizards in Azkaban were almost powerless to resist.

“Anything done will leave a trace, and someone might be able to see something from the wound. I want to do everything I can to avoid being suspected,” Scott said.

He told Rimbaud about his plan.

Rimbaud only needs to put the ravens shrunk by the Shrinking Charm into the target's cell, and the little ravens will crawl into their bodies through the target's mouth and nose.

Once the shrinking spell wears off, they will return to their original size and then burst out of the target's stomach.

"...I have already estimated when the shrinking and transformation charms will wear off. After the target is killed, they will fly away from Azkaban on their own and eventually turn back into steel blocks and fall into the sea."

Scott wore a cold expression.

Rimbaud nodded first, then said, "Why don't you consider not turning them into crows? After all, you've already summoned crows to fight in front of many people."

"It's alright, crows are very common."

Scott wasn't worried about that.

"And you told me that besides Dementors and prisoners, Azkaban only has crows."

Only crows entering and leaving would not arouse suspicion.

Because of the presence of Dementors, the guards sent by the Ministry of Magic only stayed around the perimeter of Azkaban. By the time they discovered the dead bodies, Scott's ravens would probably have already flown away.

Having accepted Scott's mission, Rimbaud flew out of the window, carrying the birdcage in his claws.

Scott looked up and watched its silhouette disappear into the horizon.

Now, all he has to do is wait for the news in tomorrow's newspaper.

Scott thought.

It wasn't that he was impatient to kill his enemies, but rather that the opportunity was fleeting, and Azkaban was about to become lively.

Just as he and Dumbledore said, Voldemort must have a plan to break out of prison.

Under these circumstances, the longer the situation drags on, the more people will likely be watching Azkaban, and it will certainly not be as convenient to do anything then as it is now.

Chapter 394 What did Luna discover?

Scott woke up early as usual this Sunday morning.

He got up and went to the common room before dawn, when everyone was still asleep.

Not long after, he saw Rimbaud fly in through the owl tunnel.

After setting up the soundproofing spell, he sat on the sofa by the window and talked to Rimbaud.

“Everything went well,” Rimbaud said. “I witnessed the deaths of those three targets.”

As it spoke, it shook its head, saying, "I have to say, that looked a bit disgusting."

Scott frowned. "You don't have to wait there; that would increase the risk of exposure."

Rimbaud, however, paid no heed to his concerns.

“Whether I’m going into Azkaban or leaving, I’m flying high enough,” it said. “The Dementors are blind, and the wizards guarding the outskirts of that island certainly didn’t see me either.”

Scott asked with concern, "What about the other prisoners?"

Rimbaud said, "Those people were tortured half to death by the Dementors, and most of them have gone mad. Besides, those prisons are all dark, and I have been hiding in the shadows and haven't made a sound, so no one should have found me."

Scott nodded in satisfaction. "Good job. Be more careful next time."

"Understood," Rimbaud replied.

“But this time I’ll see your actions with my own eyes first,” Scott said with a smile.

Under Rimbaud's curious gaze, he took out his [magic mirror].

“Yesterday I learned some new alchemical knowledge from my Ravenclaw mentor,” Scott said. “So I modified my [magic mirror].

As he spoke, he took out his wand and pressed the tip against Rimbaud's head.

He said softly, "Although you can't personally experience a person's memory like in the Pensieve, you can still convert the memory into video images to watch."

As Scott's possession, even with a wand pressed against his head, Rimbaud showed no intention of resisting. Instead, he cooperatively asked, "What should I do?"

“Just recall this trip to Azkaban in your mind,” Scott said. “Because of the connection between us, I can extract your memories.”

"I see," Rimbaud said, indicating that he understood.

In Rimbaud's memory, it had a partnership contract with Scott, and that was the bond between them.

Its past memories are obviously fake, virtual memories designed by Scott, and the partner contract does not exist.

Scott was able to extract its memories precisely because it was Scott's magical creation, born from the immense magical power generated by Scott's one-time use Philosopher's Stone.

Scott closed his eyes, feeling the connection between himself and Rimbaud, and at the same time used his wand to pull a strand of silver thread representing memories from its head.

He placed the silver thread on the surface of the [Magic Mirror] and watched it slowly sink.

"Is this all right?" Rimbaud asked curiously, watching the scene unfold.

“Wait a little longer,” Scott said.

Just then, an hourglass pattern appeared on the surface of the [Magic Mirror].

When all the sand in the hourglass has fallen out, the mirror displays a true image.

The scene is shot from Rimbaud's first-person perspective, starting high in the clouds.

Scott tapped the mirror a few times with his finger, speeding up the playback. Soon, the perspective shifted to a vast ocean, looking down from above at a dark, isolated island.

Scott then adjusted the playback speed back to normal. Of course, because Rimbaud was flying very fast, the "camera" was still falling from the sky at a very high speed.

Scott saw the legendary Azkaban for the first time.

A lonely island in the icy sea, a towering black fortress on the desolate island.

Countless Dementors draped in tattered cloaks swam up and down in the sky around the fortress, their long cloaks trailing wisps of black mist that marked their flight paths.

Rimbaud descended from the sky, flying close to the Dementors.

Scott could even clearly see the Dementors' faces and scabbed hands, which looked like they were rotting from being soaked in water, hidden under their cloaks.

Fortunately, these monsters lacked normal senses; the only thing they could perceive was human emotions, which allowed Rimbaud to pass by them unharmed.

Then, the scene in the [Magic Mirror] followed Rimbaud as he flew through the huge triangular gap at the top of the black fortress.

At this moment, the scene falls into deep darkness, and Rimbaud skillfully moves through the complex structure of the fortress, passing one cramped and dark cell after another, arranged like a honeycomb.

From time to time, the prisoners' frantic babbling or hysterical howls could be heard from these cells.

Rimbaud flew closer, occasionally peering through the narrow stone window at the prisoners in the cell.

Most of the prisoners had been tortured to the point of being emaciated. Some were dancing wildly in a frenzy, while others were curled up on the ground, as quiet as if they were already dead.

At that moment, Rimbaud, who was standing on Scott's shoulders watching the images in the Magic Mirror with him, said to him, "In Azkaban, the prisoners who can still make a sound are either completely insane or have just entered this prison. Of course, the insane are the most numerous."

The image in the mirror shows that Rimbaud's search for the person was not going smoothly.

It wandered through the complex interior of the fortress, and finally found Carlo with the help of the Dementors.

Carlo was thrown into Azkaban on Friday, and his emotions did not seem to have been completely drained by the Dementors, so a large number of Dementors were gathered near his cell.

Rimbaud flew silently past the group of Dementors and landed above the small window of Carlo's cell.

Scott saw footage of the prison interior.

The once arrogant Carlo was now huddled in the corner, his head buried between his knees, his hands wrapped around his calves, his whole body trembling.

"Get away...get away..." he muttered, "I didn't kill anyone...I'm being framed..."

Seeing this, Scott smiled.

He said, "It seems that Carlo's altered memories have not been reversed, and he still thinks he was wrongfully imprisoned."

He stared intently at Carlo, who looked as pitiful as a little chick in the picture.

“What a pity,” he said. “If I weren’t worried about Voldemort breaking out of the prison, I would much rather see my enemy suffering here.”

In the scene, Rimbaud moves again.

Instead of taking immediate action, it spent some more time finding the Yaxley father and son.

The cell where the father and son were held was not far from Carlo's "room".

After confirming the target location, Rimbaud began the actual operation.

It flew into the three cells through the windows at top speed and then quickly flew out again.

Because the scene was too dark and the birdcage it was carrying was too small, Scott couldn't see its movements clearly.

He only heard Carlo and his son Yaxley coughing one after another, as if they had choked.

Next, Rimbaud flew to the prison corridor and landed on a rusty iron frame on the stone wall to wait.

Scott sped up the footage played through the Magic Mirror again until a strange scream came from within it.

When the playback speed returned to normal, Rimbaud flew up again and landed at the window of the cell where Carlo was.

At this moment, the Dementors around them also became excited.

Inside the prison, Carlo was howling in pain and rolling on the ground.

Scott watched the scene intently.

"Indeed, Professor Snape was right," he muttered to himself. "Revenge tastes damn sweet."

Rimbaud said, "I don't think your potions professor would say something like that."

"That's about the same thing," Scott said.

In the [magic mirror], Carlo's wails grew louder and louder, and at the same time, his belly swelled up high, like a woman about to give birth.

Immediately afterwards...

Bang.
