The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

This is the second time.
He spoke calmly, but his heart was anything but calm.
Scott was furious that his friends had almost been put in danger because of his own actions twice.
He even considered launching a counterattack regardless of the consequences.
Although he had suppressed this urgent impulse, he had not given up the idea of retaliating.
He will make the Carlo siblings pay a heavy price.
Milton.
At this point, Roger turned to Milton, who had remained silent.
"Don't overthink it, this has nothing to do with you."
“No, you came to Austria because of my invitation.” Milton’s voice choked with emotion.
Hearing their conversation, Scott snapped out of his reverie and walked over to Milton.
"How could you think that? I've already said, they're after me."
He reached out and put his hand on Milton's shoulder.
"I'm sorry that this incident prevented your concert from having a perfect ending. But I must say, the concert itself was a great success, and the entire audience was captivated by your amazing talent."
“It’s my fault.” Milton shook his head. “It must be because my news was published in the British newspapers that they thought of sneaking into my concert to look for an opportunity. Otherwise, they would never have been able to find you.”
“You’re overthinking it. Those guys will always find an opportunity,” Scott said, somewhat exasperated.
Despite Scott's words, Milton remained silent with his head down.
Scott turned to look at Roger, who shrugged at him with a similarly helpless expression.
“Listen,” Scott patted Milton on the shoulder. “This was an accident. Again, they’re after me. In short, nobody will think it’s your fault.”
Although Scott could only give a light tap, Milton seemed to collapse onto the sofa as if his legs had gone weak.
“I know what you mean, Scott, I was just… I was being interviewed at the door, and I saw you being engulfed by the green light of the Death Curse…”
Milton was clearly terrified, realizing that the scene of his sudden disappearance was too shocking, and Scott didn't know what to say.
At that moment, he thought of Mr. Grevis and the lady who resembled Milton's mother, who had appeared in the concert hall.
Scott opened his mouth, but hesitated for a moment, unsure whether he should tell anyone.
He originally intended to leave the matter to Professor Flitwick, an elder, but the accident happened so suddenly that Professor Flitwick probably hadn't had a chance to tell Milton yet.
"Is there anything you want to say to me, Scott?"
Just then, Milton looked up at Scott with red eyes.
He seemed to have sensed something, as he was very sensitive to the emotions of others.
"It's something very important to me, but you don't know whether you should tell me or not?" At this moment, Milton seemed to possess the same ability as Luna. "Is that so?"
Scott smiled helplessly, but he had no intention of lying to Milton.
"Yes. How did you find out?"
“It’s quite obvious,” Milton said. “It’s rare to see such a hesitant look on your face.”
Scott gave him a thumbs up.
Milton's eyes remained fixed on him. "Tell me, what happened?"
At this point, he calmed down.
Scott felt a lot of pressure despite being stared at by his seemingly harmless and clear eyes.
At this point, Roger interjected, "What are you talking about? Oh, Scott, I remember when the performance started, you spotted three wizards. Besides the Carol siblings, who was the other one?"
“Is it my father?” Milton answered directly.
“Um… okay, yes.” Scott made no attempt to hide it.
Milton's expression was complicated upon hearing this. "So he really did come..."
"You found out?" Scott asked in surprise.
Milton shook his head. "I felt familiar eyes, but I didn't see any familiar people."
Scott was considering whether or not to mention Milton's mother when the door to the lounge was pushed open and Professor Flitwick walked in.
"Are you all alright?" he asked.
“We are fine,” Roger replied. “May we leave now, Professor?”
“Of course, you are underage wizards and can leave early,” Professor Flitwick said. “I will escort you to the Great Hall, and you can return to England on your own via the International Flood Network and wait for us at Hogwarts.”
Roger hesitated for a moment, "But what about Milton..."
Professor Flitwick said, "Go to Hogwarts first. Milton can come over after things are settled. I will bring him over then."
“Thank you, Professor.” Milton quickly stood up.
Professor Flitwick nodded, led them downstairs, and watched the three leave through the fireplace.
The three of them emerged from the fireplace in the courtyard of the British Ministry of Magic, waking the young wizard on duty.
He was sleeping on the table.
Scott explained the situation, and the three of them then went through another fireplace to the Hogwarts Headmaster's office.
It was already past midnight, but Professor McGonagall and Hagrid were still awake, sitting in the principal's office waiting.
“Mr. Trolop, Mr. Davis, Mr. Grevis…”
Upon seeing them appear, Professor McGonagall asked anxiously about the situation.
After the three explained what had happened, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid both breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness you're all alright."
Professor McGonagall said the same thing.
Now that she understood the situation, she didn't ask any more questions and waved for them to go back to their dormitories to rest.
“I’ve already had the house-elves tidy up your dorm rooms,” she said.
The three thanked him quickly, then left the principal's office and walked through the deserted castle.
Scott led the two to the prefectural bathroom for a good bath, and then they went back to their dorm and fell fast asleep.
"It's summer vacation, but I woke up in this familiar bed, with the feeling that my vacation had evaporated."
Scott woke up in the morning to hear a strange remark from Roger.
Scott smiled, got up, put on his slippers, picked up his wand, walked to the window, and pointed the wand at his heart.
"Amado, Animo, Animado, Animagus".
Feeling the second heartbeat clearly within him, Scott completed his daily routine.
After washing up, Scott noticed Milton glancing at him frequently, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back.
But Scott didn't point it out.
The three left the Ravenclaw Tower and went to the kitchen for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast, they were summoned to Professor Flitwick's office by his patron saint.
"The matter has been resolved, and the staff of the Austrian Ministry of Magic have eliminated its impact on Muggles," Professor Flitwick told them. "However, Dumbledore and Moody may still need to be there for some time to handle the negotiations."
Scott was somewhat disappointed to hear this, as he was still thinking of speaking with Dumbledore as soon as possible about the details of Mr. Bode's arrest.
For no other reason than that he wanted to find the Carlo siblings through Mr. Bode.
During Elijah Carroll's trial at the Ministry of Magic, Carroll's reaction happened to match the contents of a letter Mr. Bode sent him, leading Scott to suspect a connection between them.
In addition to the rewriting of the defendant's and witnesses' memories, Scott also suspected that Mr. Bode was involved in such a difficult matter.
Scott was desperate to get revenge on the Carol siblings, and he needed to find their hiding place first, so he didn't want to miss any related clues.
Professor Flitwick said a few words and asked Scott and Roger to leave first, leaving Milton alone.
Scott was fully aware of this and entrusted him with the matter of Milton's parents' appearance.
It was noon when I saw Milton again.
After finishing lunch, the two returned to their dormitory and found Milton sitting on the windowsill with his legs drawn up to his chest.
His face was blank and dazed, and he didn't even react when Scott and Roger came in talking.
Scott and Roger exchanged a glance, but neither made a move to comfort him.
Because they all know that many things require the person involved to figure them out themselves.
Of course, Scott wanted to criticize, to give a scathing critique of the couple who were unsure whether they were actually divorced.
If it's a sham divorce, why would Mr. Grevis do it?
Pretending to separate, then marrying another woman while hiding his ex-wife—that sounds absurd.
Finally, Roger broke the silence in the dormitory, "Oh, I wonder how much longer we'll be staying at Hogwarts. I want to keep watching the Quidditch World Cup."
Scott turned his head and saw that Milton was still sitting there motionless, without any reaction.
After a long while, Scott finally couldn't resist going to the window.
“We’re not sure if that’s your mother, Milton,” he said. “If it really is her, it’s not such a bad thing, at least you know she’s doing well.”
Milton's vacant eyes finally snapped open.
“Yes, I would rather she be doing well, hidden away, than live somewhere I don’t know about,” Milton said quietly. “Besides, I don’t have to keep looking for her anymore, and I can wholeheartedly pursue my own dreams.”
As he spoke, his eyes quickly reddened, and tears streamed down his face.
Scott quickly reassured him, "I don't think she meant to lie to you. Maybe she had her reasons, or maybe Mr. Grevis only found her recently."
He racked his brains to help Milton's mother find an excuse.
"Thank you, Scott, but you don't need to comfort me like that."
Milton said, crying.
"I'm just happy, yes, I'm just too happy."
