“Everything will be alright,” Professor Flitwick quickly reassured him. “You will definitely have a bright future.”

"I will work hard."

Scott skipped that topic and went back to Medea and William.

"According to William, Medea has fallen into a deep sleep due to Voldemort's curse, which has probably completely disrupted her plans."

Dumbledore understood immediately: "Our influence in the Ministry of Magic will take this opportunity to accelerate our actions."

He clearly no longer saw Scott as an ignorant child.

Scott also stated directly: "The Ministry of Magic needs a strong leader, but strength alone is not enough; it also needs to be able to unite most of the forces."

At this time, perhaps only Dumbledore was truly capable of taking on this role.

But Dumbledore clearly still had no interest in it.

“I would recommend Ms. Burns,” he said.

Scott didn't think the somewhat rigid Ms. Burns was up to the job of Minister of Magic during this chaotic time.

This can be seen from her previous arrangements for Azkaban.

But Ms. Burns also has her merits.

The advantage is that she will obviously do her best to cooperate with Dumbledore and will not be obsessed with power struggles like Fudge or others.

So Scott simply said, "If Ms. Burns becomes minister, we may need to arrange for more wizards to protect her."

Otherwise, the woman might not have been able to withstand even one attack from Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and others might not have had time to come to her rescue.

Dumbledore simply smiled. "It seems you do know a lot."

They chatted until noon and had lunch together before Professor Frivy took Scott to London Heathrow Airport.

After Scott bought the tickets, they talked for a while in a corner of the airport terminal.

Professor Flitwick said earnestly, "Scott, I hope you can focus more on magic itself, and not on anything else..."

He wasn't happy to see Scott getting involved in too many other things.

Clearly, as mentioned before, he would prefer Scott to take a more straightforward path and not be distracted by other things.

Scott was truly at a loss about this.

He didn't actively get involved in many things; he was simply caught up in them against his will.

“Of course I know that the prophecy has made you uneasy,” Professor Flitwick continued. “But that’s precisely why you should focus on magic. Nothing is more important than improving your own strength.”

“I know, Professor, I will be careful,” Scott nodded in response.

Professor Flitwick sighed.

“If everything were peaceful now, and you wouldn’t have gone through those things, then I would support you in pursuing more hobbies. But clearly, you don’t have much time.”

Scott nodded again in agreement.

Even after boarding the plane, he kept thinking about Professor Flitwick's words and reflecting on himself.

While some things are indeed beyond our control, now is certainly not the time to think about things like using magic to modify television or movies.

Scott decided to temporarily bury those wonderful ideas deep in his memory.

In the afternoon, Scott returned to his home in Madrid alone, where he was greeted by Emilia's scolding.

She was only going abroad to attend a concert, but unexpected things happened, and she ended up staying in England for a long time before returning home, which made her very angry.

Scott coaxed Emilia with a playful grin for a long time before her expression softened a bit.

He couldn't help but feel relieved that Emilia was unaware of the battle taking place in Hastings, otherwise she would have been even angrier.

After appeasing Amelia, Scott went to Michael's antique shop and told him what had happened in Hastings.

“I told you not to go,” Michael smacked him on the head. “But you insisted on taking the risk.”

Scott rubbed his head and said, "It turns out it wasn't too dangerous."

Michael disagreed, saying, "You can't guarantee you'll have good luck every time."

Scott said, feeling wronged, "But you didn't stop me on the phone, and you even said you trusted my judgment!"

"I do trust your judgment."

Michael glanced at him.

“A guy who can only vent his anger by destroying uninhabited houses isn’t very clever. I believe you can handle him.”

"Then why..."

"Of course, I hope you can be more cautious in the future."

"I understand, Dad."

A father doesn't need a reason to discipline his son, right?

Scott was speechless at Michael's flip-flopping, but he could understand it.

As a father, Michael was simply worried about his son's safety.

“I’ve always been fairly cautious,” he told his father, offering his self-analysis. “Perhaps it’s because I haven’t had a chance to test my strength after it has grown, so I’ve become a bit restless.”

Michael shook his head upon hearing this.

“You are still too young, my son. Don’t play all your cards too easily. This is a lesson you should have learned long ago.”

Scott shrugged.

"The principle is clear, but whether you can actually do it is another matter."

Michael looked him in the eyes and said, "You need to figure out what's most important to you."

“Of course it’s you and Mom,” Scott said with a grin.

Michael paused for a moment, then laughed.

"You should save those words for Millie," he said with a smirk.

Scott pursed his lips. "I'm telling the truth."

Michael coughed, his expression turning serious again.

“What I mean is, you should focus on the important thing: getting through the ordeal revealed by that prophecy is the most important thing for you.”

Upon hearing his father's words, Scott also stopped smiling.

Michael put his hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eye.

“You must let go of some things, Scott. Don’t let other things distract you. You must focus all your energy on dealing with the prophecy.”

Scott looked into Michael's eyes and saw not only concern, but also a great deal of worry.

He recalled his conversation with Michael on the first night of summer vacation, and the suppressed sadness and helplessness in his father's voice.

From as far back as I can remember, my father Michael has always been a powerful figure, almost omnipotent.

This man was always calm and composed, as immovable as a mountain, seemingly untouchable by anything.

But now he has witnessed his father's weakness twice.

That was something that shouldn't have been on Michael.

This is all because of himself, because he is in a world that he cannot enter.

Scott opened his mouth, but couldn't say anything for a moment.

He couldn't stop Michael's worries, and could only be thankful that Amelia didn't know any of this. He couldn't prove that he could get through the future safely, because even he himself wasn't entirely confident.

Moreover, even his Ravenclaw mentor said that he lacked the time to accumulate experience and could not reach their level of strength in a short period of time.

Seeing that he didn't speak, Michael sighed. "If you don't have confidence, we can leave, anywhere. We can go to any country in the world, even the North and South Poles, or uninhabited islands in the ocean."

"Do not."

Scott reflexively said no.

He knew very well that the prophecy was inescapable, and that avoidance would not solve anything.

Besides, hiding in XZ is not what he wants.

“I will pull myself together, work harder, be more focused, and be more careful,” he said, looking into Michael’s eyes and uttering each word clearly.

At that moment, Scott's resolve suddenly hardened.

Even if his opponent was Salazar Slytherin, he was unwilling to admit defeat easily.

“In that case, let’s do our best,” Michael said. “Anyway, I’ll have a backup plan.”

Scott could only acquiesce to this.

The next day after breakfast, Scott summoned a portrait of Ravenclaw in his room.

"Mentor, please tell me, is there a faster way to become stronger?" he asked in a pleading tone.

Ravenclaw glanced at him a few times and asked gently, "What happened?"

“My enemy is Salazar Slytherin, and I have no chance of winning if things continue like this, do I?” Scott said seriously. “I don’t want my father to worry about me too much.”

Ravenclaw, however, said, "The path I've planned for you is the best one. Magic cannot be achieved overnight; only by following the steps can you go further."

Scott shook his head. "But if things continue like this, I can't be sure if I'll have a future."

Ravenclaw smiled slightly. "The prophecy already told us that you would win in the end, wouldn't it?"

"You can't win by doing nothing."

"Of course you haven't done nothing; you've been making progress, child."

"But I feel that's not enough."

"There are no shortcuts to accumulating knowledge. Because of your impatience, your request just now was far from satisfactory, my apprentice."

Extremely poor...

Scott was taken aback.
