The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

This time, for the purpose of demonstration, he did not choose to form it in one go.
He first gently waved his wand, turning the stone into the shape of a raven.
The stone raven's body was covered with marks of magical runes.
Scott waved his wand again, and the stone raven came to life, the runes glowed with a fiery red light, and then, bang, flames ignited.
"That's fantastic!" Bill exclaimed excitedly. "My idea has actually come true! Of course, I'd heard you mention it before, but I'm still thrilled to see it with my own eyes!"
He couldn't wait to draw his wand and try it out.
He easily succeeded in his first step, conjuring a stone raven whose surface was covered with magical runes.
But when he waved his wand again, his raven exploded.
Scott managed to block the exploding rocks with his Iron Mantle.
“No.” Bill shook his head. “I can’t do it. Activating the rune circuit and polymorphing at the same time would increase the difficulty many times over. The presence of the runes would greatly interfere with my polymorphing!”
Sirius Black then came to his senses and exclaimed in shock, "I have never realized so clearly before that Scott is a true genius. Perhaps what is called a genius is being able to do what others cannot."
Scott didn't mince words; he went on to demonstrate the combination of transfiguration and spells.
This time, he first turned a tree branch into a snake, and then used a shrinking spell to shrink the snake.
"That's all we can do," he said. "If we were to combine all three..."
As he spoke, he cast a shrinking spell on the second fire crow he had conjured.
boom!
The fire crow exploded.
"You've already done a fantastic job!"
Bill tried it again, and when he used the shrinking spell on the rat he had created, the rat exploded as well.
"Is this the difference in talent?" He laughed nonchalantly. "I never thought I'd be envious of someone else's talent."
"That's amazing! I never knew you could do something like that!"
Sirius couldn't resist reaching out and ruffling Scott's hair.
Scott shrugged.
Talent is indeed unreasonable, but wizards with special talents are not too rare in the magical world. Compared to a natural-born shapeshifter or a natural-born mind reader, he is just a little better at Transfiguration than ordinary people, which is not a big deal.
After he finished his speech, he was met with a barrage of head-patting from everyone.
Besides Percy, even Charlie, whom they weren't very familiar with, participated.
"Isn't this kid a bit asking for a beating?" he said.
"What is this? A bunch of Gryffindors bullying a Ravenclaw?"
Faced with the attack, Scott had no choice but to run away, eventually escaping back to his tent with his hair all messed up.
By this time, the trio who had gone to fetch water had returned, and with their help, Mr. Weasley finally succeeded in starting the fire.
He was frying eggs while talking to a man wearing a conspicuous Quidditch robe.
“Let me introduce you,” Mr. Weasley said to the crowd who had run back, “this is Ludo Bagman, you know who he is, we got these good tickets thanks to him—”
Bagman waved his hand with a broad smile, as if to say that it was nothing.
Then, Mr. Weasley introduced these people to Bagman.
Bagman only glanced at him a few times after hearing Harry Potter's name.
Scott ran his fingers through his hair while secretly observing the Director of Physical Education at the Ministry of Magic.
The former Quidditch star wore a somewhat exaggeratedly bright robe, which had become quite overweight and was stretched tightly around his large belly.
"Want to place a bet on the match, Arthur? Oh, and Sirius too, you join us!"
Bagman asked eagerly, making the pockets of his yellow and black robe jingle loudly, as if they were filled with a lot of gold coins.
He went on and on about his predictions for the game, urging Mr. Weasley and Sirius to place bets.
Mr. Weasley and Sirius both put up Galleons to bet on Ireland winning the game.
"Great, is there anyone else who wants to place a bet?"
Bagman then started encouraging others.
Mr. Weasley did not approve of his children gambling, but the twins were clearly very interested.
Scott remembered how the twins were tricked by this guy with fake gold coins in the "original story," so he stopped them with a look.
Fortunately, although Fred and George did not understand why Scott wanted to stop them, they trusted him enough to give up their intention to place a bet.
Since no one else was interested in gambling, Bagman tried to persuade them for a long time, but in the end, he had no choice but to leave.
After he walked away, Fred and George asked Scott curiously why he had stopped them.
Scott explained, "That gentleman doesn't seem to be in good financial shape. He's even wearing an old Hornets jersey that clearly doesn't fit. If you win, are you sure he can pay out enough to cover the bet?"
Fred frowned. "I thought he was wearing the old robe just to show off his past as a Quidditch star."
“He was a star, and now he’s the director of the sports department. He’s not some nobody,” George said. “With that kind of status, it would be too shameful for him to renege on his debts!”
Mr. Weasley laughed. “Oh, perhaps you have some misunderstanding about Ludo, Scott. I know him; he’s not a bad person. Of course, Fred and George were right not to gamble, and thank you for stopping them.”
As Mr. Weasley spoke, Percy, standing beside him, also looked at Scott with disapproval.
"Maybe I misunderstood," Scott said with a smile.
But as he spoke, he gave the twins a wink.
After breakfast, the three of them gathered in the woods again to talk.
“You know my perception,” Scott told them. “I can detect slight fluctuations in magic, and a wizard’s emotions can also affect how magic is perceived. In short, I don’t think that guy is very trustworthy.”
"So that's how it is."
"That guy is trying to scam us out of our money!"
Fred and George immediately believed him.
“I think we’ll find a way to make money,” Scott reassured them. “You don’t need to worry about the funds to open the store in the future.”
Fred and George were also optimistic about this.
"That's right, opening a joke shop is just a small goal for us right now."
"Our ultimate goal is to completely transform the magical world through inventions!"
Scott laughed when he heard this; it seemed that his previous description had given the twins a new goal to strive for.
Amidst laughter and conversation, Rimbaud led Roger and Eddie over.
"Oh, Eddie."
Scott looked Eddie up and down, who had gained a lot of weight since they last saw him.
"Did you eat too much in the US?"
"Maybe."
Eddie, however, didn't seem to care.
He excitedly told Scott, "Oh, I've heard Roger tell you about your experience in Vienna. It's a pity I couldn't attend Milton's concert. Of course, I also made new friends in America, students of Ilfamoni!"
He began to recount incessantly the information he had heard about the Ivermony Magic School in America.
Scott and the others listened with interest, but Roger had clearly heard it before, or even more than once, and his face immediately showed a look of disinterest.
By the time Eddie finally stopped eating, Roger and Rimbaud were already staring at each other.
While Eddie was drinking water, Scott reminded him and Roger.
"Are you already aware of the current situation in the magical world? I want to remind you to be careful."
“I know,” Eddie nodded. “Roger told me everything.”
“I heard it from my dad, but we only know the general outline,” Roger said.
“I don’t think anything will happen here. There are too many wizards here, and the Ministry of Magic has also deployed a lot of people. Who would dare to cause trouble?” Eddie said optimistically.
Scott, however, was not so optimistic.
"It would be best if nothing happened," he said solemnly, "but we can't let our guard down."
Although there are many wizards here, most of them bring their families with them.
If unrest were to actually occur, he was certain that most people would only cause more trouble.

“What do you think, Professor Blake?”
Scott turned to look at Sirius Black, who was walking towards him.
He had already sensed Sirius approaching with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and having confirmed their identities, he didn't stop talking.
"I've already said, just call me Sirius."
Sirius grinned.
Harry's eyes widened as he asked, "You just said that something unexpected might happen in today's match? What's your basis for that?"
Scott shook his head. "No, I can't be sure about anything, so I just wanted to remind everyone to be careful."
"Seriously, I hope you're not jinxing me." Ron's face scrunched up.
Scott shrugged.
“It’s right to be careful,” Sirius patted Harry on the shoulder. “No one can predict what those lunatics will do.”
Hermione said with a displeased look, "I'd also like to know, given what happened, why didn't the Ministry of Magic cancel the competition? That's an irresponsible thing to do!"
“Because nothing is more important than Quidditch!” Fred and George said in unison.
The others also looked at Hermione with disapproval, as if she had just uttered something outrageous.
"Oh!" Hermione said, somewhat annoyed. "Is Quidditch all you have on your minds? Shouldn't safety be a more important thing?"
