The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

“We’re about to begin, Scott,” Dumbledore reminded him.
Scott nodded.
Dumbledore bent his knees and half-squatted, chanting a spell as he thrust the Elder Wand into the grass with his backhand.
"Rumble..."
With a series of muffled thuds, a huge gash appeared in the vast lawn.
"Rumble..."
The crack continues to widen, almost spanning the entire stadium.
When the crack becomes square, the huge passage has taken shape.
However, the passage was not very stable, and sand and soil would fall from time to time.
"Scott!"
Dumbledore shouted a reminder.
Scott, who was already kneeling on one knee, immediately thrust his wand into the ground with his other hand.
Compared to Dumbledore opening the entire passage, Scott only needed to solidify the surface layer of the passage, not even including the ground, and the magical power required would be far less than that of Dumbledore.
But when Scott began to change the texture of the soil in the left, right, and top directions inside the passage, he instantly felt his magic power drain away as rapidly as a dam releasing floodwaters.
Dumbledore's actions did not stop.
While Scott was changing the surface material of the soil, he also conjured pillars on both sides of the tunnel.
"..."
When Scott finally finished his work, he felt weak all over, his vision suddenly went black, and then he lost consciousness.
Chapter 443 Waking Up, Conversation in the Room
When Scott opened his eyes again, he saw a brightly colored old poster.
He found himself in the Burrow, in Fred and George's room.
"woke up!"
Scott is awake!
I could hear Fred and George shouting in my ears.
Scott tried to sit up, but he didn't have the strength.
Fortunately, Fred helped him up and stuffed two pillows behind his back.
Boom, boom, boom...
The sound of hurried footsteps filled the air, and in no time, the small room had become incredibly crowded.
"Oh darling, are you alright?"
Mrs. Weasley squeezed to the bedside and looked at him with loving eyes.
“I’ve heard everything.” She patted Scott’s head as if he were her own child. “Thanks to you, you and Dumbledore saved everyone. That was amazing!”
"Oh, it's nothing." Scott forced a smile.
"Child, how are you feeling?" Mrs. Weasley asked with concern.
"I'm just exhausted from all the exertion," Scott said honestly.
"Then you must be hungry!" Mrs. Weasley straightened up. "I think you need to replenish your nutrition as soon as possible!"
As she spoke, she turned around directly.
"Make way! Don't all crowd here! I need to prepare some good food for this child!"
She pushed aside the others and rushed out of the room in a flurry.
Scott only looked at the others after she left.
The room contained only the Weasley siblings, Harry, and Hermione; the adults were not seen.
Bill, Charlie, and Percy, along with Ginny, only glanced at the room and asked a few questions. Seeing that Scott was alright, they left the crowded room.
“Oh, Fred.” Scott turned to Fred, who was closest to the bedside. “Do you know how Roger is? Is he alright?”
Fred shook his head. "Sorry, I don't know. It was too chaotic when we left, there were too many people, and we didn't see Roger. Everyone Apparated home immediately after escaping the stadium."
Scott was still a little worried. "He's been hit by Voldemort's Crucifixion. I hope he can stay strong."
He thought of Neville's parents, who had been driven insane by the Cruciatus Curse.
Just then, a pale-faced Harry stepped forward.
“Oh…Scott, I…I don’t know what to say…I’m sorry…it’s all my fault…those innocent people…it’s all because of me…”
He spoke incoherently, yet he couldn't make himself clear, as if he had lost his normal ability to express himself.
Scott looked at his listless face and the genuine fear in his eyes, and sighed softly.
"That's not your fault, Harry."
"But……"
Ron patted Harry on the shoulder. "Take it easy, brother. It really wasn't your fault. It was all Voldemort's... Mysterio was too evil. You shouldn't blame yourself for it."
Scott smiled. "Ron is right."
He quickly changed the subject.
"Where are Professor Dumbledore and the others?" he asked. "Have all the adults gone to clean up the mess?"
"Oh, they left quickly."
"I don't know where they went."
Fred and George answered.
“I think they went to the Blacks’ house, oh, Sirius and I live there,” Harry said.
"Oh child, you need to eat more so you can get better sooner!"
Footsteps and voices came at the same time, and Mrs. Weasley burst into the room again.
She brought over a large plate of well-cooked beef patties and a large glass of pumpkin juice.
Fred helped set up a small table in front of Scott.
"If you're too tired, let Fred feed you. Of course, if it's not enough, just tell me! Don't be shy!"
Mrs. Weasley put down the plate and cups, quickly took off her apron and tied it around Scott's shoulders, then chatted a few more words of kindness before leaving again.
“Oh, poor little Scott, do you want me to feed you?” Fred asked with a grin.
Scott promptly refused his help.
Although his hands were a little unsteady, he still bravely relied on himself.
The others didn't leave either; they began discussing how Dumbledore and his ilk should clean up the mess and how the British Ministry of Magic, having lost its prestige, should restore its authority.
as well as……
What should be done about the Quidditch World Cup final that hasn't even started yet?
After Scott finished eating three beef patties and drinking a large glass of pumpkin juice, he felt a bit stronger and asked Fred to put the things away.
Fred and George then divided the remaining beef patties among themselves, refusing to share with Ron and Harry, who were drooling.
At this moment, Hermione frowned and asked, "Don't you guys think that the actions of the Mystic and those Death Eaters today are a bit strange?"
"Is there anything strange about this?" Ron asked, puzzled.
“Yes,” Hermione replied. “I was thinking before that they didn’t choose to launch a direct attack, nor did they choose a time when most of the audience was captivated by the Veela…”
At this point, she glared at Harry and Ron.
"Or we can wait until the match reaches its most intense point..."
“That’s true.” Fred stroked his chin. “If the mysterious man hadn’t just swaggered out like that…”
George chimed in, "...If they launch a sneak attack directly with Fiendfire, wouldn't many people suffer?"
Hermione nodded. "That's exactly what I mean. I always felt that the Mystic was somewhat of a show-off, even at the end... He knew Dumbledore was there, so he should have known that Dumbledore could save everyone."
“Oh,” she added, “He probably didn’t realize that Scott also played a significant role.”
Fred grinned and said to Scott, "Indeed, everyone should thank you, brother!"
George added, "They would never guess that you could not only tell Dumbledore about the situation there, but also help him create an escape route!"
Scott shook his head.
“Perhaps that’s where the Mystic’s brilliance lies,” he said, looking at Hermione.
Hermione raised an eyebrow upon hearing this, "Why do you say that?"
Scott looked at Harry, "Because his target is only Harry, and there are 100,000 wizards there after all."
"I understand!"
Hermione's expression changed, clearly understanding what Scott meant.
"What did you understand?" Ron asked, looking rather clueless.
“Didn’t Scott already make it very clear?” Hermione glared at him immediately.
She didn't notice that when she looked at Ron with disdain, Harry, who was standing next to Ron and seemed about to say something, immediately shut his mouth.
"Then please tell me properly, what exactly did you understand?" Ron was naturally very unhappy about being looked down upon by Hermione.
Hermione's contempt deepened.
But she was still happy to explain to him, "Even if it were the Mystic, it would be impossible for him to lead a few dozen Death Eaters against a hundred thousand wizards. His target was only Harry, and the method he chose was the least likely to provoke everyone to rebel!"
After hearing her words, Ron still looked a little confused, as if he understood but also as if he didn't.
Harry's expression was similar to his.
Hermione sighed and continued, "If they targeted everyone directly, it would provoke fierce resistance from everyone. In that case, they would suffer heavy losses themselves. But they simply surrounded everyone and then let the mysterious man randomly select someone to interrogate, which took advantage of people's wishful thinking!"
